보수성을 개선한 복합형 신축이음장치(HRS) 내구성 평가 (Durability Evaluation of Hybrid Expansion Joint System with Improved Replacement)

  • 기존 신축이음장치 교체 시간을 절감하고, 차선별 부분교체가 가능하도록 보수성을 개선한 신축이음장치 시스템(HRS)에 대하여 실물규모의 수직하중 피로시험과 윤하중 성능실험을 수행하여 내구성을 평가하였다. 수직하중 피로시험결과 레일형 신축이음장치의 최대응력은 170 Mpa이며, 이는 HRS 신축이음장치레일의 항복강도 355MPa의 약 47.8% 수준이다. 보수성을 개선한 HRS 신축이음장치의 수직하중 피로시험은 도로교설계기준에 따라 재하판의 크기와 하중을 설정하였고, 200만회 수직하중 피로시험과 윤하중 성능실험에 있어서 파괴거동을 나타내지 않았으며 그 내구성과 안전성을 확인하였다.

  • This research is aimed at the development of the composite beam-column connection system by which the steel beam can be connected to the R/C column with smooth stress transfer. As the first step of the structural performance tests of the system, bearing resistance test has been carried out for actual size specimen. From the test, the connection system has been proved to take good bonding and stress transfer to the surrounding concrete with negligible relative displacements.

  • The compressive strength of concrete is commonly used criterion in producing concrete. However, the tests on the compressive strength are complicated and time-consuming. More importantly, it is too late to make improvement even if the test result does not satisfy the required strength, since the test is usually performed at the 28th day after the placement of concrete at the construction site. Therefore, accurate and realistic strength estimation before the placement of concrete is being highly required. In this study, the estimation of the compressive strength of concrete was performed by probabilistic neural network (PNN) on the basis of concrete mix proportions. The estimation performance of PNN was improved by considering the correlation between input data and targeted output value. Adaptive probabilistic neural network (APNN) was proposed to automatically calculate the smoothing parameter in the conventional PNN by using the scheme of dynamic decay adjustment algorithm. The conventional PNN and APNN were applied to predict the compressive strength of concrete using actual test data of a concrete company. APNN showed better results than the conventional PNN in predicting the compressive strength of concrete.

  • The weight saving that results from the substitution of aluminum alloy for steel may be used to provide reduced energy consumption and labor cost due to simplified manufacturing process and improved vehicle performance. Because of these advantages, foreign advanced rolling stock manufacturing companies have been using aluminum alloy for bodyshell manufacturing. In this research, the comparison between FE analysis and actual load test results is performed for aluminum extrusion bodyshell, which is manufactured by Rotem Company. And the results show that the aluminum carbody structure satisfies the strength and stiffness requirements. Commercial FE analysis code and specially designed test equipment are utilized for the structural analysis and the static load test of bodyshell respectively.

A Vehicle SoC Fault Diagnosis Technique using FlexRay Protocol

  • In this paper, we propose vehicle SoC fault diagnosis platform using FlexRay protocol in order to detect the faults of semiconductor control chip even after vehicle production. Before FlexRay protocol by sending NFI (Null Frame Indicator) bit among the header segment and a specific identifier in the payload segment of FlexRay frame, this technique can be distinguishable from normal mode and test mode. By using this technique, it is possible to detect the faults such as performance degradation of vehicle network system caused by the aging or several problems of vehicle semiconductor chip. Also high reliability and safety of vehicle can be maintained by using structural test for vehicle SoC fault detection.

탄소섬유판을 이용한 철근콘크리트 보의 휨 보강 성능 (Flexural Rehabilitation Performance of Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with Carbon Fiber Laminate)

  • In this study, the behavior of R/C beams strengthened with carbon fiber laminate (CFL) is analyzed from the test results. CFL is attractive for this application due to its good tensile strength and low weight. Test parameters are the width and the thickness of CFL and repair of damaged specimen. The failure mode and ultimate load are analyzed from these measured data. Test results show that the peak load of specimens strengthened with CFL is increased to 1.27~2.04 times that of non-rehabilitation specimen. The wider lap width, larger amount of CFL, the larger strength is obtained. But the ductile behavior of the rehabilitated specimens is inversely proportional to the CFL thickness.

메타카올린 및 실리카퓸 첨가율에 따른 구조용 PVA 섬유와 시멘트 복합재료의 부착특성 (Bond Properties of Structural Poly Vinyl Alcohol Fiber in Cement Based Composites with Metakaolin and Silica Fume Contents)

  • In this study, the effect of metakaoline and silica fume on the bond performances of structural polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber in cement mortar, including bond strength, interface toughness, and microstructure analysis are presented. Metakaoline and silica fume contents ranging from 0 % to 15 % are used in the mix proportions. Pullout tests are conducted to measure the bond performance of PVA fiber from cement mortar. Test results showed the incorporation of metakaoline and silica fume can effectively enhance the PVA fiber-cement mortar interfacial properties. Bond strength and interface toughness increased with metakaoline and silica fume content up to 10 % in cement mortar and decreased when the metakaoline and silica fume content reached 15 %. The microstructural observation confirms the findings on the interface bond mechanism drawn from the fiber pullout test results.

가열 시험을 거친 AU 합성보의 휨 성능에 관한 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on the Flexural Capacity of AU Composite Beam After the Heating Test)

  • AU(A plus U-shaped) composite beam was developed for reducing the story height in the residential buildings, and saving the cosrtuction cost of floor structures. Structural performance and economic feasibility of the composite beam have been sufficiently approved through the structural experiments and the analytical studies. Fire safety for the practical application of the composite beam has also been verified through the fire resistance tests and the heat transfer analyses. In this study 2-points bending tests were performed on the four specimens already tested for fire resistance to evaluate the residual bending strength of AU composite beam after fire accident. The same bending test was performed on the one fresh specimen having the same section and span of the specimens for practically comparative study.

  • In 2017, 100 aftershocks with a magnitude of 2.0~3.0 and 615 minor earthquakes in Pohang in Korea caused the collapse and destruction of aggregate, tile, glass, and other structural components of multi-family houses constructed as finishing materials for buildings, causing damage to vehicles and casualties. Based on this factor, seismic design standards were established for non-structural elements of buildings that were applied only to past structures. Therefore, this study reinterpreted various vibration response spectra transmitted to waterproof layers as well as the definition and concept of the waterproof layer demand response spectrum derived by developing various vibration response test evaluation devices through a new testing apparatus.

간호사의 간호업무성과 예측모형 - 긍정심리자본을 중심으로 (Prediction Model for Nursing Work Outcome of Nurses - Focused on Positive Psychological Capital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model on nursing work outcomes based on Youssef and Luthans' positive psychological capital and integrated conceptual framework of work performance. Methods: This study used a structured questionnaire administered to 340 nurses. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results: Positive psychological capital showed indirect and direct effects on job satisfaction, retention intention, organizational citizenship behavior, and nursing performance. While, the nursing work environment had direct and indirect effects on job satisfaction and nursing performance, it only had indirect effects on intention to work and organizational citizenship behavior. Additionally, a mediating effect on retention intention and organizational citizenship behavior was found between job satisfaction and nursing performance variables. Conclusion: The nursing organization needs to build a supportive work environment and reinforce positive psychological capital to improve nursing performance. Additionally, it needs to actively manage the necessary parameters involved in the stages of job satisfaction, retention intention, nursing performance, and organizational citizenship behavior of nurses. The findings propose the continuous management of nursing personnel based on nurses' attitude outcome, behavioral intention, behavioral outcome, and stage of role performance.
