간단한 클램프회로를 이용한 고효율 결합인덕터 부스트 직류-직류 변환기 (High Efficiency Coupled Inductor Boost DC-DC Converter using a Simple Clamp Circuit)

  • This paper presents a high efficiency coupled inductor boost DC-DC converter that uses a simple clamp circuit and the coupled inductor and thus overcomes output voltage limit of the conventional boost converter. The proposed converter solves problems of voltage stress of the power semiconductor switch and reverse recovery of the output diode using a simple clamp circuit composed of a diode and a capacitor, and thus the converter improves its total efficiency. In this paper, the operational principle of the proposed converter is explained by each mode and then a design example for the prototype converter based on the explanation is shown. And good performance of the proposed converter is verified through experimental results of the prototype converter that is implemented with the designed circuit parameters.

  • A novel a-Si TFT integrated gate driver circuit which suppresses the threshold voltage shift due to prolonged positive gate bias to pull-down TFTs, is reported. Negative gate-to-drain bias is applied alternately to the pull-down TFTs to recover the threshold voltage shift. Consequently, the stability of the circuit has been improved considerably.

  • 목적: 심근경색의 가역성 여부 판단시 cardiac MR imaging(CMRI)와 myocardial SPECT의 정확성을 비교하기 위하여 대상 및 방법: 흉통을 주소로 내원한 환자 중 CMRI와 SPECT를 시행한 17를 대상으로 역행적으로 조사하였다. CMRI는 double and triple inversion recovery image(IR)에서 심벽의 고신호강도, 2D-FIESTA에서 심기능 분석을 조사하였다. 이어 gadopentetate를 주입하여 확산스캔에서 확산결손을 조사하였다. 연속하여 gadopentetate를 더 주입 후 5분 후 지연심근강조영상을 얻어 지연조영증강 유무와 미세혈류 폐쇄를 조사하였다. SPECT는 아데노신으로 stress 스캔을 얻은 후 T1-201을 재주사 후 rest 스캔하여 확산결손과 재분배를 조사하여 가역성을 판단하였다.

  • Chronic fatigue syndrome Is a syndrome of unknown etiology and pathophysiology characterized by severe, chronic, debilitating fatigue as main symptom and numerous additional symptoms such as joint and muscle pain, headache, sleep disturbance. According to recent researches, it was suggested that chronic fatigue syndrome was developed by disturbance of interaction between neuropsychiatric system and immune system due to environmental factors and stress. Many patients experience gradual improvement but complete recovery from disorderd state is rare. There was no research elucidating the exact pathogenetic mechanism of chronic fatigue syndrome, so there was no established treatment. Several controlled studies about treatment was reported, but its results was not effective in all patients with chronic fatigue syndrome. For chronic fatigue syndrome, a comprehensive approach to physical, psychological, and social aspects is needed.

프레스 퀜칭 공정에 의한 자동차 Flexible Plate의 형상 제어 연구 (Shape Control of Automotive Flexible Plate in Press Quenching)

  • The production of automotive chassis parts requiring both high hardness and good shape-holdability is better realized by using press quenching technology, comprising the austenitizaton and the subsequent press quenching in a specially designed stamping tool. The effect of press quenching mold shape on the hardness distribution, bending height, and degree of planeness of automotive flexible plate during press quenching and tempering has been investigated. The preferable shape of the projections of punch and die in contact with the flexible plate was close to oval to improve the flow of cooling oil, leading to the higher hardness. The press quenching mold with three separate parts was more effective to control the dimensional change due to thermal deformation during press quenching. Some decrease in the bending height during tempering may be related to some recovery of the residual stress at $400^{\circ}C$.

  • The sudden deafness is generaly defined as sensorineural hearing loss without definite cause. The medical treatment of this disease is purposed on hemokinetic improvement and anti-inflammatory action. There are various prognoses such as perfect recovery or loss of hearing. The symptoms are easily redeveloped by fatigue or psychological stress. We treated two patients, who diagnosed as the flare of Liver fire and the flare based on insufficiency of Kidney Yin, of sudden deafness with herbal medication, acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal acupuncture. The symptoms were improved after three or four times of treatment.

  • Neuroprotection or prevention of neuronal loss is a complicated molecular process that is mediated by various cellular pathways. Use of different pharmacological agents as neuroprotectants has been reported especially in the last decades. These neuroprotective agents act through inhibition of inflammatory processes and apoptosis, attenuation of oxidative stress and reduction of free radicals. Control of this injurious molecular process is essential to the reduction of neuronal injuries and is associated with improved functional outcomes and recovery of the patients admitted to the intensive care unit. This study reviews neuroprotective agents and their mechanisms of action against central nervous system damages.

저주파 노이즈와 BTI의 머신 러닝 모델 (Machine Learning Model for Low Frequency Noise and Bias Temperature Instability)

  • Based on the capture-emission energy (CEE) maps of CMOS devices, a physics-informed machine learning model for the bias temperature instability (BTI)-induced threshold voltage shifts and low frequency noise is presented. In order to incorporate physics theories into the machine learning model, the integration of artificial neural network (IANN) is employed for the computation of the threshold voltage shifts and low frequency noise. The model combines the computational efficiency of IANN with the optimal estimation of Gaussian mixture model (GMM) with soft clustering. It enables full lifetime prediction of BTI under various stress and recovery conditions and provides accurate prediction of the dynamic behavior of the original measured data.

  • This study of purpose was to evaluate the changes in hands and feet temperature by applying massage and paraffin bath.. The subject of this study was 30 university healthy students. Subjects were divided into paraffin bath group and massages group. The digital infrared thermographic imaging was used for thermographic analysis. The visual analog scale was used for subjective information about the degree of cold sensitivity and cold stress test was used for analyzing the temperature recovery rate. After the interventions showed that temperature difference of the right hand and temperature difference of the left hand are less in the paraffin group than the massage group. When applied paraffin bath and massage to the cold hypersensitivity patient the massage group showed difference in the visual analog scale and the paraffin group showed difference in the temperature of the right hand, left hand, left foot and in the visual analog scale. Paraffin bath treatment seems to be useful to patients with cold hypersensitivity on hands and feet.

  • 유두체의 기능을 탐색하기 위하여 외과 수술에 의하여 유두체를 떼어버린 개를 마련하고 수술전에서부터 수술후에 걸쳐 다음의 세가지 실험을 실시하여 그 성적을 비교하였다. 첫째 실험에서는 먹이 먹는 개의 혀에 전기 충격을 가한다음 이어서 동물이 다시 먹이 그릇에 접근하기까지의 시간을 측정하여 동물이 무서움을 타는정도를 짐작하였으며, 둘째 실험에서는 높은 소리 (12,000 cps, 100 db)를 한 시간 동안 동물에게 들려 스트레스로 삼고 혈액 호산구 수의 변동을 추적하여 스트레스에 대한 반응의 지표로 삼았다. 셋째 실험에서는 아침과 저녁 일정한 시간에 항문 온도를 반복 측정하였다. 실험 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 유두체 제거후의 동물이 유두체 제거전 보다 무서움을 더 혹은 덜 탄다는 증거는 없었다(제 1 표). 2. 유두체가 제거된 후에도 스트레스에 대한 반응은 유두체 제거전과 같은 정도로 현저히 나타나나 스트레스에서의 회복과정은 유두체 제거전에 비하여 유두체 제거후에 유의하게 지연되었다(제 1 도). 3. 유두체가 제거된 동물의 체온은 유두체 제거전에 비하여 떨어지는데 그 정도는 미약하나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(제 2 표).
