수중 양식과 탐사를 위한 LED 녹색평판조명램프 (Green Panel Lighting Fixture of LED Lamp for Aquaculture and Marine Aquanautics)

  • 본 논문은 녹색조명설비의 구현으로 얇은 패널구조의 LED 조명등을 제작하여 가로등조명, 수중배양 양식조명, 집어등 및 수중탐사의 특수조명 활용성을 확인하였다. 제작된 패널구조의 녹색조명등은 상기한 용도의 조명등으로서 매우 탁월함이 확인되었다. 그 중 집어등의 경우는, 작은 치어 등의 미세생물체와 어류의 조광이동성 및 군집 활동성 증진에 효과적이었으며, 수중배양 양식 조명에서는 녹색 조류, 해초, 수초 및 각종 유기체의 광합성 성장에 유용하였고, 특히 수중조명장치로서의 방수성 및 방열작용의 탁월성이 확인되었다.

농촌 여성노인의 근린시설 이용 및 보행환경 인식 연구 - 충남지역을 중심으로 - (Use of Neighborhood Facilities and Perception of Walking Environment in Older Rural Women - Focused on the Chungnam Province -)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the perception of walking environment and use of neighborhood facilities of rural female elderly, who are the most susceptible to ambulatory problems. The study showed that parks, senior centers and hospitals were among the most frequently used neighborhood facilities by rural female elderly, while bus stations and senior centers were recognized as the closest facilities. Frequency of use was higher for paid sports facilities rather than parks. Hospitals and health centers were facilities that were desired to be in close proximity. Social support, self-efficacy, and attitude were the factors that affected walking environment. Street trees, accessibility to parks, and street lights were factors that showed a positive relationship with total time of walking activity while perceived crime rate and slopes were perceived as environmental challenges for groups that walked under 150 minutes per week. One factor that negatively affected walking was the lack of sidewalks on streets. Providing parks and walking trails within neighborhood, pleasant walking environments, and safe sidewalks would contribute to improved perception of neighborhood and walking of older rural women.

  • Recently, women's fear of crime continues to increase in space of everyday. By the way, the fear of crime has the spatial properties as crime. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to evaluate the spatial dependence of fear of crime and to suggest the physical environmental factors influencing fear of crime. For this, a spatial regression analysis using spatial weights was conducted based on the location data of the fear of crime measured through a survey. The results of this study are as follows; First, the fear of crime felt by women in their twenties who are vulnerable to crime has spatial dependence. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the spatial characteristics in analyzing the environmental factors affecting this. Second, in order to reduce the fear of crime, it is necessary to improve the environments of old housing and entertainment facilities. There is also a need for ongoing management. Third, careful consideration is needed in the installation of CCTV and street lights, which are factors influencing the fear of crime. It is necessary to establish a reasonable arrangement standard for CCTV and to analyze the street lighting in detail.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경상남도 창원시에 위치한 20개 초등학교 주변 물리적 환경과 보행안전 및 교통사고 위험도와의 상호관련성을 분석하는 것이다. 현장조사는 가로 수준의 객관적, 주관적 보행환경을 평가하기 위해서 실시하였고, GIS 기법은 근린생활권 수준의 토지이용 패턴을 분석하기 위해서 사용하였다. 보행안전 및 교통사고 위험도에 관련된 자료는 18개 초등학교의 5~6학년 6,381명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통하여 수집하였다. 상관분석에 따르면, 가로 수준의 보도 위 영구적 장애물, 차량 진 출입구, 조명시설, 교통안전표지, 그리고 근린생활권 수준의 단독주택 및 도로면적율 등은 보행안전 또는 교통사고 위험도와 높은 상관성을 가지는 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 본 연구는 안전한 통학로와 보행친화적인 건강한 커뮤니티를 조성하는데 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 최근 도로조명시설에 영상 및 레이더 등을 부착하여, 실시간 교통데이터 수집과 교통 정보제공이 가능한 스마트 가로등에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 스마트 가로등 기술은 이에 따라 기존 대비 고해상도 검지, 판별, 조밀한 정보제공이 가능하다. 스마트 가로등의 장점으로 고해상도 정보전달매체로서 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 기존 중앙집중식 운영 전략과 다른 지점형 운영 전략이 요구된다. 본 연구는 스마트 가로등 기반사고 발생 전/후의 상황에 따라 구분된 공간적 범위에서 목적성을 달리하는 동적 정보 제공 전략, 해제 전략 및 그 기준에 대해서 제시하였다. 이를 통해 스마트 도로조명시설을 보다 효과적으로 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

LED 가로등의 각도를 이용한 광카메라통신기반 횡방향 차량 위치추정 기법 (Optical Camera Communication Based Lateral Vehicle Position Estimation Scheme Using Angle of LED Street Lights)

  • Lane detection technology is one of the most important issues on car safety and self-driving capability of autonomous vehicle. This paper introduces an accurate lane detection scheme based on OCC(Optical Camera Communication) for moving vehicles. For lane detection of moving vehicles, the streetlights and the front camera of the vehicle were used for a transmitter and a receiver, respectively. Based on the angle information of multiple streetlights in a captured image, the distance from sidewalk can be calculated using non-linear regression analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme shows robust performance of accurate lane detection.

  • Two 12 m high tubular steel lighting columns have been instrumented to determine the wind-induced fatigue loading experienced by such columns. Each column supported a single luminaire mounted on a 0.5 m long bracket. One column was planted in soil, and the other bolted through a welded baseplate to a substantial concrete base. The columns were strain gauged just above the shoulder weld which connected the main shaft to the larger base tube. Forced vibration tests were undertaken to determine the natural frequencies and damping of the columns. Extensive recordings were made of response to winds with speeds from 4 m/s to 17 m/s. Selected records were analysed to obtain stress cycle counts and fatigue lives. Mean drag coefficients were also derived from the strain data to investigate experimentally the effect of Reynolds Number.

태양전지 이용을 위한 LED 조명 제어기 설계 (A Design of LED Lighting Controller for use of Solar Battery)

  • LED lighting because of high efficiency, long life, friendly environment, as a general lighting of the next generation, has been substituted for incandescent bulb and fluorescent lamp. The proposed system for use of solar battery is the intelligent controller for LED street lights which is improved the method of battery charging and charging efficiency in winter to extend battery life cycle, controlled lighting current according to SoC and in steps. Also, it is implemented emotional lighting which is controlled with the surrounding environment, by using colorful sub LED to take up 10[%] of a source of total light, white LED. As a lab results, the proposed system was implemented functions to adapt to the environmental changes, and improved the charging efficiency and battery life cycle.

  • 기존 가로등 유지보수시스템을 위한 모니터링 기술은 크게 CDMA양방향통신, Zigbee 혹은 USN을 이용하는 방법, 분전함 단위로 PLC를 이용하는 방법 등이 있다. 그러나 CDMA방식은 높은 회선사용료를 지불해야 하며, Zigbee 혹은 USN을 이용한다. 본 연구를 통해 그룹단위로 감성조명과 고장진단을 위한 LED 가로등 고장진단 시스템을 설계 구축하고, 핵심 컴포넌트인 BSD(Brightness Sensor Device)를 설계 및 구현하였으며, 실험을 통해 효용성을 검증하였다.

Real-time collision-free landing path planning for drone deliveries in urban environments

  • This study presents a novel safe landing algorithm for urban drone deliveries. The rapid advancement of drone technology has given rise to various delivery services for everyday necessities and emergency relief efforts. However, the reliability of drone delivery technology is still insufficient for application in urban environments. The proposed approach uses the "landing angle control" method to allow the drone to land vertically and a rapidly exploring random tree-based collision avoidance algorithm to generate safe and efficient vertical landing paths for drones while avoiding common urban obstacles like trees, street lights, utility poles, and wires; these methods allow for precise and reliable urban drone delivery. We verified the approach within a Gazebo simulation operated through ROS using a six-degree-of-freedom drone model and sensors with similar specifications to actual models. The performance of the algorithms was tested in various scenarios by comparing it with that of stateof-the-art 3D path planning algorithms.
