This study is to survey the materials purchasing and inventory management status and the characteristics and opinions of the staff in charge of purchasing and inventory of the general hospitals in Busan area in order to contribute to the rationalization of its management through the grasp of actual situation and the presentation of desirable improvement plan for the materials purchasing and inventory management. The status of medical institute had been surveyed by the purchasing/ administration managers of total 26 general hospitals, and the purchasing/ management questionnaires had been commenced with 86 staff of the 26 hospitals. Its major survey results, after the analysis of 24 medical institute statuses (return rate of 92.30%) and 60 staff questionnaires (return rate of 69.76%), are as follows. First, post-purchasing evaluation system is not used actively, orders are being placed by phone or fax, and general merchandise is being purchased through free contracts in most of the hospitals participated in the survey. Second, as per the materials supplying methods, the requisition and delivery system is currently the most popular in the hospitals surveyed, however, both the requisition and delivery system and the par level transfer system are the most desired in the hospitals of more than 500 beds, and the par level transfer system is the most desired in the hospitals under 500 beds for the materials supplying system in the future. Third, as per the inventory management system that is desired the most in the future, the SPD and JIT types are preferred in the hospitals of more than 500 beds, the stockless strategy is preferred in the hospitals under 500 beds, the senior staff above section chief grade prefer the stockless strategy, and the junior staff prefer the ABC classification and SPD types. Fourth, The necessity of purchasing staff's training for the materials management is highly recognized but the effectiveness is not so much acknowledged, which is because such a training is thought to be so superficial and formal that it is not helpful much in the actual field. When summarizing the survey results as above, the materials purchasing and management system is differed for each group of hospitals according to the size of beds, and the more scientific management system is largely required by the general hospitals in Busan city. They also hope the introduction of joint purchasing system, materials management by the bar-code system, and positive execution of the market survey and training of the relevant staff for the management of purchasing affairs. So the more systematic purchasing and inventory management is regarded to be necessary through the introduction of scientific and specialized education of materials management, market survey, and post-purchasing evaluation system also through the computerization of materials purchasing and inventory management as soon as possible.

Since the size of training dataset become large and the model is getting deeper to achieve high accuracy in deep learning, the deep neural network training requires a lot of computation and it takes too much time with a single node. Therefore, distributed deep learning is proposed to reduce the training time by distributing computation across multiple nodes. In this study, we propose hybrid allreduce strategy that considers the characteristics of each layer and communication and computational overlapping technique for synchronization of distributed deep learning. Since the convolution layer has fewer parameters than the fully-connected layer as well as it is located at the upper, only short overlapping time is allowed. Thus, butterfly allreduce is used to synchronize the convolution layer. On the other hand, fully-connecter layer is synchronized using ring all-reduce. The empirical experiment results on PyTorch with our proposed scheme shows that the proposed method reduced the training time by up to 33% compared to the baseline PyTorch.
In this study, the educational effect was investigated by providing a teaching program so that pre-service chemistry teachers could apply model ignorance education to teacher training practice. The teaching program was constructed in consideration of the sensemaking concept proposed in the study of Odden & Russ and the process of teacher sensemaking proposed by Asli et al. The subjects of this study were 23 pre-service teachers in the 4th year of chemistry education department at a teacher training university in the central region of Korea. In order to form a sensemaking for the model's ignorance education, the teaching program consisted of four stages; the initial idea generation stage, cognition of model's ignorance stage in a inconsistent situation, the lesson strategy construction stage for model ignorance education, and lesson plan & practice stage during teacher training practice. In the first stage of this program, pre-service teachers' initial ideas about the Arrhenius model and Bronsted-Lowry model of acid-base reaction, and the electron transfer model of the oxidation-reduction reaction were investigated. In the second stage, inconsistant situation that cannot be explained by the knowledge of model was presented to recognize the ignorance of the model. The third stage was to develop the teaching ability of model's ignorance through textbook analysis and lesson strategy composition activities. As a final stage, during the teacher training practice, the pre-service teachers were asked to plan and practice the implementation of the model's ignorance education. Through the teaching program to form a sensemaking for ignorance education of the models, pre-service teachers had come to recognize the ignorance of the model, acquired ability to organize and execute lesson strategies reflecting model ignorance, and acquired recognition of the educational value and necessity of teaching the ignorance of models.
This study was done to identify the relationships between nursing practice stress and stress coping for the nursing students in Korea. Data were collected at 2 universities located in C city in Korea. Participants were 160 nursing students. Data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 using descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Nursing practice stress was $2.72{\pm}6.2$. Stress coping was $2.60{\pm}0.37$. Stress was correlated with wishful thinking coping strategy when doing orientation (r=0.32, p<0.01), conference(r=0.52, p<0.01), homework(r=0.29, p<0.01). Stress for practice exam was correlated with problem focused coping strategy(r=0.31, p<0.05). Stress was correlated with positive view coping strategy when face nurse(r=0.31, p<0.01) or interpersonal relations(r=0.35, p<0.01). Stress related to practice environment and class was correlated with indifference (r=0.26, p<0.01) and tension relieve strategy (r=0.28, p<0.01). There's no stress when they meet or serve direct care to patients. Students managed the stress by showing active coping pattern. It is considered that the experience gave students an excellent capacity to cope with stress. Since the degree of stress and coping pattern can differ from adaptability of situation, a research of change in clinical training stress by seasonal clinical training and coping patter is proposed.

Continuing education for professionals is the most basic requirement for continuous professional development. The enhancement of the professionalism of librarians will also be possible through the establishment of a systematic continuing education strategy of the national level. In this study, we tried to derive a strategy for continuing education for librarians in Korea by analyzing the internal and external environment of national institutions that are the center of continuing education for librarians. To this end, we proposed a complex framework of PEST-3Cs-SWOT as a systematic environmental analysis methodology and tried to apply it. For PEST analysis, literature related to library, librarian, and librarian education was extensively reviewed, and for 3Cs analysis, in-depth interviews with internal employees, questionnaire data analysis on the demand survey of training subjects, and case studies of similar institutions in Korea and abroad were conducted. Based on this, SWOT analysis was conducted, and finally, 4 strengths-opportunity strategic tasks, 5 weaknesses-opportunity strategic tasks, 5 strength-threat strategic tasks, and 3 weaknesses-threat strategic tasks were derived. This study will be meaningful in that it presents strategic tasks for continuing education institutions in Korea, and at the same time suggests and applies a complex analysis methodology that can be applied to tasks similar to development plans and strategy establishment.
This study developed training program to educate professional workers for software industry with growing importance in this area as software industry takes more parts in Korean economy. Additionally, this study developed the program based on national competency standards(NCS) using structured on the job training(S-OJT), For this study, we reviewed economic index about software industry such as economic ratio and the influx of the workforce. Also literature review for S-OJT was conducted to explore its concept for better application of the concept to the program development. In addition, this study used training program development manual suggested by Korean Department of Labor. We selected specific job which needs training program to be developed based on thorough needs analysis for a company A. Previously developed NCS and other documents were reviewed and focus group interviews were conducted to find out core knowledge and skills for the job. 44 training programs were developed and objective of each program, hours, contents and methods were also suggested. Additionally detailed program name, education system, road map and operation strategy were developed and suggested. The result of this study is expected to contribute to other industry and jobs which are facing to the development of NCS based education program by suggesting detailed stage of development process. For more animated development of education program using NCS, the effect of the program should be tested in the future. For the test, appropriate evaluation methods and measures should be developed as well.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of social skill training on the class cohesiveness of Elementary School students. The experimental group received 12 times of the social skills training for 6 week period. And each training session which lasted for 40 minutes took place twice a week. A total of 59 5th grade students in randomly selected two classes of D Elementary School in N. Gyongsang participated in this study. They were divided into the two groups, again at random; an experimental group(N=30, Male=18, Female=12) and a control group(N=29, Male=15, Female=14). In this study, the class cohesiveness performance test reorganized into 20 items for the level of elementary students by Shin-suk Gang, was applied, after complemented. And, the collected data were analysed through SPSS 14.0. T-test was applied to find out the difference of the average between the experimental group and the control group and the average difference in the pre-and post-test of the experimental group alone, and to see whether the control group and the experimental group are homogeneous. The research design of this study is pre-and post-test control group design. The result of this study is as follows: The result of Independent t-test and Paried t-test on the cohesiveness score and sub-factor scores tells us that the experimental group which received the social skills training showed better achievement that deserves our attention compared to the control group. This result suggests that student's class cohesiveness(class atmosphere, mutual trust, morale, a sense of unity, communication) is positively affected by the social skill training. Accordingly, social skill training which develops class cohesiveness can be an effective strategy for elementary school students to make them more intimate and cooperative with their classmates.

Recently, the importance of CPR training for the layperson has been emphasized to improve the survival rate of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients. An accurate and realistic training strategy is required for the CPR training effect for laypersons. In this study, we develop an extended reality (XR) based CPR training system and evaluate its usability. The XR based CPR training system consisted of three applications. First, a 3D heart anatomy image registered to the manikin is transmitted to the smart glasses to guide the chest compression point. The second application provides visual and auditory information about the CPR process through smart glasses. At the same time, the smartwatch sends a vibration notification to guide the compression rate. The 'Add-on-kit' is a device that detects the depth and speed of chest compression via sensors installed on the manikin and sends immediate feedback to the smartphone. One hundred laypersons who participated in this study agreed that the XR based CPR training system has realism and effectiveness. XR based registration technology will contribute to improving the efficiency of CPR training by enhancing realism, immersion, and self-directed learning.

In this study, the vision and goal of librarian education and training were designed by reflecting the changes in the internal and external environment of the library and the human resource development (HRD) trend in order to prepare a mid- to long-term development plan for librarian education and training. To design the vision and goal of librarian education and training, redefining the necessity, goals, mission, and role of librarian education and training, and seeking strategies to realize the vision and goal of librarian education and training. Core competency and national competency standards (A detailed implementation plan was prepared for the development of NCS) - based educational operation guidelines. First, when analyzing domestic and foreign prior research and literature, the future librarian is a person with competencies that includes first, creative convergence, second, communication and cooperation, third, leading professional, and fourth, empathic and inclusive talent. It was identified that education and training should be established based on The curriculum according to the library's future talents and core competencies should be presented in the following process model, and the librarian competencies for each type of creative convergence type, communication cooperation type, leading professional type, and empathy and inclusive type should be derived, and It was identified that the education direction should be set in the direction of designing a curriculum for job competency improvement by setting the job competency according to the requirements.
The physics-informed neural network (PINN) has been proposed to overcome the limitations of various numerical methods used to solve partial differential equations (PDEs) and the drawbacks of purely data-driven machine learning. The PINN directly applies PDEs to the construction of the loss function, introducing physical constraints to machine learning training. This technique can also be applied to wave equation modeling. However, to solve the wave equation using the PINN, second-order differentiations with respect to input data must be performed during neural network training, and the resulting wavefields contain complex dynamical phenomena, requiring careful strategies. This tutorial elucidates the fundamental concepts of the PINN and discusses considerations for wave equation modeling using the PINN approach. These considerations include spatial coordinate normalization, the selection of activation functions, and strategies for incorporating physics loss. Our experimental results demonstrated that normalizing the spatial coordinates of the training data leads to a more accurate reflection of initial conditions in neural network training for wave equation modeling. Furthermore, the characteristics of various functions were compared to select an appropriate activation function for wavefield prediction using neural networks. These comparisons focused on their differentiation with respect to input data and their convergence properties. Finally, the results of two scenarios for incorporating physics loss into the loss function during neural network training were compared. Through numerical experiments, a curriculum-based learning strategy, applying physics loss after the initial training steps, was more effective than utilizing physics loss from the early training steps. In addition, the effectiveness of the PINN technique was confirmed by comparing these results with those of training without any use of physics loss.
