대체적 감가상각기법을 활용한 도로자산의 가치 평가 : 국도 1호선을 중심으로 (Evaluation of Road Asset Value using Alternative Depreciation methods : Focusing on National Highway No.1)

  • PURPOSES : This study proposes the road asset valuation approach using alternative depreciation methods. It has become necessary to have asset management system according to the adoption of accrual basis accounting for governmental financial reporting and the amendment of the road act. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the effect of depreciation methods on road asset value as a basic research for road asset management system. METHODS : The Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF) has mainly performed road asset valuation based on Write down Replacement Cost and Straight Line depreciation method. This study suggests some appropriate asset valuation methods for road assets through case analysis using three depreciation methods: Consumption-based depreciation method, Condition-based depreciation method, and Straight Line depreciation method. A road asset valuation data of national highway route 1 (year 2014) is used to analyze the effect of three depreciation methods on the road asset value. Road assets include land and structures (pavement, bridge, and tunnel). This study mainly focuses on structures such as bridges and tunnels, because according to governmental accounting standards, land and road pavement assets do not depreciate. RESULTS : The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, overall asset value of national highway route 1 was estimated at 6.97 trillion KRW when MOSF's method (straight-line depreciation method) is applied. Secondly, asset value was estimated at 4.85 trillion KRW on application of consumption-based depreciation method. Thirdly, asset value was estimated at 4.37 trillion KRW when condition-based depreciation method is applied. Therefore, either consumption-based or condition-based depreciation methods would be more appropriate than straight-line depreciation method if we can use the condition data of road assets including land that are available in real time. CONCLUSIONS : Since road assets such as pavements, bridges, and tunnels have various patterns of deterioration and condition monitoring period, it is necessary to consider a specific valuation method according to the condition of each road asset. Firstly, even though road pavements do not depreciate, asset valuation through condition-based depreciation method would be more appropriate when requirements for application of non-depreciation approach are not satisfied. Since bridge and tunnel facilities show various patterns of deterioration and condition monitoring period by type and condition level, consumption-based depreciation method based on deterioration model would be appropriate. Therefore, it is necessary to have a reasonable asset management system to apply condition-based depreciation method and a periodic condition investigation to manage road assets well.

도시개발사업의 토지부담률에 영향을 미치는 환경적 요인분석 (Analysis of Environmental Factors Affecting on the Reduction Rate of Land Compensation in Urban Development Project)

  • This study was carried out for analysing the relationship of environmental factors and the reduction rate of land compensation of six urban development projects near waste landfill sites located in the Seoul metropolitan area. For a close investigation, 24 variables were selected but only 4 environmental variables were identified to have high correlation to the reduction rate of compensation. These are fine particles(PM10), bad smell, the ratio of a greening zone of land and park, and the distance in straight line from the landfill site. Two variables-PM10 and bad smell-were found to have an effect on the average reduction rate of land compensation by correlation analysis. On the other hand, the ratio of a greening zone and the distance in straight line from the landfill site have been rejected for the significance test. The result of regression analysis of six models for the search of affecting variables on the reduction rate of compensation is that PM10 and bad smell have the impact ratio of more than 0.5. But the ratio of greening zone and the distance from the landfill are not significant factors, having the impact ratio of 0.025~0.045 except one model.

시각기반 웜 자세의 기구학적 모형화 (Vision-based Kinematic Modeling of a Worm's Posture)

  • We present a novel method to model the body posture of a worm for vision-based automatic monitoring and analysis. The worm considered in this study is a Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans), which is popularly used for research in biological science and engineering. We model the posture by an open chain of a few curved or rigid line segments, in contrast to previously published approaches wherein a large number of small rigid elements are connected for the modeling. Each link segment is represented by only two parameters: an arc angle and an arc length for a curved segment, or an orientation angle and a link length for a straight line segment. Links in the proposed method can be readily related using the Denavit-Hartenberg convention due to similarities to the kinematics of an articulated manipulator. Our method was tested with real worm images, and accurate results were obtained.

  • Two-dimensional depth-averaged advection-dispersion equation was simulated using FEM. In the straight rectangular channel, the advection-dispersion processes are simulated so that these results can be compared with analyti-cal solutions for the transverse line injection and the point injection. In the straight domain the standard Galerkin method with the linear basis function is found to be inadequate to the advection-dispersion analysis compared to the upwind finite element scheme. The experimental data in the S-curved channel were compared with the result by the numerical model using SUPG(Streamline upwind Petrov-Galerkin) method.

스플라인 곡선을 이용한 막구조물의 재단도 작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cutting Pattern Generation of Membrane Structures Using Spline Curves)

  • 막 구조물은 일반적인 설계와는 달리 형상해석, 응력변형해석 및 재단도 과정을 수행하여야만 설계가 가능하다. 처음 두 과정과는 달리 재단은 3차원 곡면을 최소 오차를 가진 평면 스트립을 형성하는 과정이다. 경제적인 이유로 재단 선은 주로 측지선을 이용하여 작성된다. 그러나 일반적으로 측지선은 초기 형상탐색에서 구성된 삼각형 요소의 정보에서 추출됨으로 부드러운 곡선이 아니며, 불규칙한 직선이다. 그러므로 어떻게 불규칙한 직선을 곡선으로 표현할 것인가가 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스플라인 함수를 이용한 보간 방법을 재단도 생성에 적용하였다. 이를 위해서 삼차 스플라인 함수, B-스플라인 함수 및 최소자승 스플라인 함수의 세 가지 경우에 대해서 고찰하고, 단순 모델 및 카테나리 모델을 대상으로 재단도 작성 결과를 검토하였다. 단순모델의 해석요소수와 추출된 불연속 절점 수에 따른 보간 곡선 비교결과는 요소수가 큰 경우 추출된 절점의 수가 적은 것이 효과적이며, 최소자승 보간이 다른 방법보다 더 부드러운 재단 경계선을 제공한다.

항공라이다 데이터의 건물 곡선경계 추출 및 모델링 (Extraction and Modeling of Curved Building Boundaries from Airborne Lidar Data)

  • 항공라이다 데이터를 이용한 건물 추출 연구가 많이 진행되어 오고 있으나 대부분의 연구는 건물경계를 직선으로 가정하기 때문에 곡선경계가 포함된 건물의 경계를 올바르게 모델링하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 곡선경계를 포함하는 건물을 항공라이다 데이터로부터 직선과 곡선이 혼합된 경계로 모델링하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 건물점들에 대하여 적응적 컨벡스헐 알고리즘과 큰 반경의 국지적 컨벡스헐 알고리즘을 적용하여 두 세트의 경계점을 추출한다. 경계점들의 평균 점 간격 및 수직이등분선의 교차 비율에 의하여 곡선 세그먼트를 판별한 후, 직선과 곡선 세그먼트에 대하여 각각 다른 정규화 방법을 적용하여 건물경계를 모델링한다. 실험결과, 곡선 세그먼트의 추출 완전성과 정확성이 각각 69%, 100%로서 본 연구의 방법을 통해 대부분의 곡선경계를 올바르게 추출 및 모델링 할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 수치지도 제작기준을 만족하는 건물경계를 자동으로 생성하는데 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The aim of this paper is to find a suitable design which minimizes the expected discrepancy: in fitting a first order model fearing quadratic terms as bias where there are more than two correlated responses. Kim and Draper(1994) discussed about choosing a design for straight line fits to two correlated responses The general case with r responses is examined here and the result is applied to a specific case to help understandings.

  • By using a least-square input estimator and likelihood ratio technique, a tracking problem is presented. A Kalman tracking filter based on constant-velocity, straight-line model is used to track a target and the filtered estimate is updated using an input estimate when a maneuver is detected. Track residuals at each scan are sensed by a detector to guard against unexpected corrections of the filter. The simulation results show there are significant improvements using the scheme presented.

  • In this paper, path planning, modelling, and control of manipulators are described. The path planning deals with specifying how to define the motion of hand along straight line paths in the minimum amount of time. A new model was developed for the manipulator, which is based on the classical equations of motion of a rigid body. A new control algorithm was developed which controls the manipulator in terms of the position and orientation of the hand.

압축링-유막간의 접촉압력 거동에 관한 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Contact Pressure Behavior in Compression Ring-Oil Film)

  • The contact pressure behavior is examined by means of a finite element analysis. The oil film between the piston ring and cylinder liner is analyzed on the basis that it behaves like a polymer material. The calculated results indicate that a shape of sloping edge with a straight line, which is designated as a Model III, shows a good performance on the contact pressure behavior for the increased speed. Obviously, the ring face profiles play an important role on the contact pressure between compression ring and oil film.
