비구조적인 피어-투-피어 시스템에서 효율적인 검색을 위하여 임의 경로 검색 방식이 제안되었는데, 이 방식의 낮은 검색 성공률을 보완하기 위하여 여러 가지 복제 기법이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 복제본의 생성을 최소화하고, 캐시를 효과적으로 사용함으로써 검색의 정확성과 속도를 높이고 비용을 줄이는 효율적인 복제 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서는 질의가 많이 도착하는 허브 노드에 캐시를 저장하고 그 이웃 노드 중 하나에 복제본을 저장하는데, 제한적이고 지역적인 정보만을 이용하여 허브를 판별하는 알고리듬을 제시하여 동적인 네트워크 내에서 적응적으로 캐시와 복제본을 생성할 수 있게 하였다.

XML은 다양하게 응용할 수가 있어 여러 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 응용들에 대해서 통합적으로 관리해 주는 시스템은 제안된 바 없어, 각각의 응용에 대해 별개의 언어로 사용되고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 XML의 다양한 응용 중에 웹을 기반으로 하는 대표적인 응용인 SMIL, RDF, WIDL에 대해, 이들의 DTD와 문서 인스턴스를 통합하여 객체 모델링을 하고자 한다. 각 XML 응용에 대해 객체 모델링 규칙과 알고리즘을 통합할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 통해 XML 종류에 상관없이 웹 기반 XML 응용의 구조를 쉽게 파악할 수 있으므로 문서 생성을 용이하게 하며, 객체지향 스키마를 쉽게 생성할 수 있으므로 객체지향 데이터베이스 문서관리의 기반이 될 것이다.

Genome research has become very popular in most nations. In order to enhance the efficiency of collaboration among genome research groups, ways to store and share data, communicate with each other, be guided through right research strategies, and to easily use well-established databases. In addition, since techniques and softwares for genome research groups are well established, a similar research road map could commonly be applied. In this study, we developed a web-based work place for effective genome research, named 'BioPlace.' From the beginning of writing a proposal, research members can work on the same environment with convenient aid to share files or data. BioPlace provides various ways of collaboration methods among genome researchers. The BioPlace system supports two types of workplaces, namely 'Personal Workspace' and 'Team Workspace.' For each BioPlace user, a Persona] Workspace is provided, while a Team Workspace is provided for each group with the same purpose. In addition, BioPlace provides a 'General Research Road Map' for genome research, and several Korean user interfaces for BLAST, PDB, and Primer3. We expect that BioPlace may facilitate collaboration of genome research among the experienced scientists and help beginners in many different ways as well.

This report described the corrosion structure of excavated iron artifacts in terms of simple model based on the knowledge of the corrosion process. (Fig.1)(Table 1,2)In storing the objects, there are basically three ways in which they either break in wedges, flakes and dish-shaped flakes. Completely mineralized objects or those with only a small iron core tend to break into wedges and more solid objects either split small dish-shaped flakes or large flat ones.(Fig. 2,3,4)There are two ways, therefore, to prevent this from happening. One is to keep the artifacts rigorously dried in Silica-gel, never allowing the relative humidity to rise. This is feasible which the artifacts are in store but causes great difficulty if they are wanted for museum display. Because they still contain $ FeCl _2$ they are always at risk ; they contain the seeds of their own destruction. The other alternative is to use of washing process to dissolve out the $ FeCl _2$. In this connection, many different methods to stabilize the artifact have been employed; boiling iron in frequent changes of water, soaking in Na-sesquicarbonate solution, soaking in alkaline Na-sulphite solution. In this report, introduced the alkaline sulphite method by the N.A. OBD-II regulations are already effective in many countries. The California Air Resources Board(CARB) first issued regulations in 1985 for the 1988 model year, known as OBD-I, and required the vehicle's engine management computer to warn the driver by means of a dash-mounted light if a malfunction occurred in either the oxygen sensor, the exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) valve or the evaporative emission system purge solenoid, and to store information on troubles that have no recurrent characteristics. This paper presents two methods of wireless monitoring OBD signal, which is one of the ECU output for self diagnostic measurement. RF module is used to monitor ECU's Self diagnostic signal remotely. Two kinds of measurement systems which are based on micro-controller(80C196KC) for portable detection and PC for sever are considered for receiving the RF signal. Therefore, possibility of real-time monitoring of ECU's self diagnostic signal remotely is verified on this paper.

In this paper, we present effective methods for automatic music recommendation system which automatically recommend music by signal processing technology. Conventional music recommendation system use users’ music downloading pattern, but the method does not consider acoustic characteristics of music. Sometimes, similarities between music are used to find similar music for recommendation in some method. However, the feature used for calculating similarities is not highly related to music characteristics at the system. Thus, our proposed method use high-level music characteristics such as rhythm pattern, timbre characteristics, and the lyrics. In addition, our proposed method store features of music, which individuals queried, to recommend music based on individual taste. Experiments show the proposed method find similar music more effectively than a conventional method. The experimental results also show that the proposed method could be used for real-time application since the processing time for calculating similarities between music, and recommending music are fast enough to be applicable for commercial purpose.

This study examined the effects of demographic variables on buying behavior, and investigated buyers'perceived value and risk perception of the internet shopping mall. The sample was collected by a department store in Daegu, and it included 1,732 individuals using the Cyber Mall. Research methods used in this study were simple statistics, t-test and ANOVA. The buyers perceived values through the internet shopping mall were classified into five categories-price, time, convenience, intrinsic attributes, reliability and the risk perception also was classified such as the overall purchasing process, quality of products, exposure of the personal information, delivery system, refund and exchange. The major findings of this study were 1) most important categories affecting their buying behavior were the value of convenience and following values in order were time, price, reliability, intrinsic attributes. 2) the risk perception were overall purchasing behavior, quality of products, exposure of personal information, delivery, and refund & exchange in order. 3) age of buyers, buying experience on the internet shopping mall, and gender were the important factors affecting the buyers'perceived value and risk. 4) the study also, showed that according to the variety of products, buyers perceived the value and risk differently, for example, the price was the most important perceived value in case of food product. The implication of the study is to strategically suggest how to enhance the buyers'perceived value and diminish perceived risk of different products.

In this paper, we implement an identification system using the vein image of the hand. The vein pattern is obtained in the grey-scale 2D image through the infrared-red imaging from back of the hand. Since the frame has lack of clearance, we use some enhancing methods such as the complement, addition, and multiplication to the image to increase the contrast. After Wiener filtering for smoothness of the vein pattern, we transform the image into the binary image with mean function. The binarized image is session thinned and the cross-points in the vein tree are obtained by calculating the number of pixels connected because the image is shaped as a tree. We choose the point and find the nearest to the center if it has majority, where we find the two end points of the selected line. We can get the angle between the two lines joined at the cross-point and store its coordinates, angle, and label the values. The values are used as the feature vector of the vein pattern. This procedure is similar to the human cognition sequences. It is shown that the proposed method is simple for the vein recognition.

윈도우 운영체제(Operating System)에서 OS와 어플리케이션 프로그램 운영에 필요한 정보를 저장하기 위해 개발된 계층형 DB인 registry는 부팅에서 사용자 로그인, 응용 서비스 실행, 어플리케이션 프로그램 실행, 사용자 행위 등 모든 활동에 관여하기 때문에, registry를 분석을 통한 디지털증거획득이 많이 사용되고 있다. 최근 사용자가 인식하지 못하는 방법으로 악성코드가 시스템에 침투하여 귀중한 기술정보를 유출하거나 도용하여 금전적 피해가 많이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고가의 디지털포렌식 프로그램 사용 없이 셰어웨어 어플리케이션을 이용하여 악성코드를 탐지하는 방법을 제시하여 해킹의 피해를 분석하고 동일한 피해를 예방하기 위해 본 연구를 진행하였으며, 악성코드를 탐지하고 분석하기 위해 고가의 상용프로그램을 사용하지 않고도 정확히 분석할 수 있기 때문에 학문적 기여도는 클 것으로 기대한다.

This study is on architectural characteristics of the existing ㅁ-shaped Yo-Sa with two stories in Buddhist temple. The Yo-Sa has had the function of space for not only monasticism but also living of buddhist priests and been one of the important spaces in Buddhist temple from the beginning of it. The Yo-Sa with two stories appeared mostly in the later Chosun Dynasty, so the origin of the Yo-Sa with two stories is thought that it might relate to the circumstances of temples in the later Chosun Dynasty. Having got in the period of Chosun Dynasty, Buddhism lost the power that he has enjoyed since Korea Dynasty was established and the economic power of temples as well. Because of a change for the worse, the Buddhist priests should manage with reduced income and combine many buildings with various functions into a singular to overcome their circumstances. Therefore a waekened economic power might be a primary factor which urged to change form of Yo-Sa from one-storied to two-storied. The ㅁ-shaped Yo-Sa with two stories have the Dae-Bang-Chae for worship, Seung-Bang for Buddhist's living room in the bottom floor and garnering spaces to store up the agricultural produce, miscellaneous article, etc in the top floor. The composition methods depend on the condition of the lay of land, intentional design, and so on. Therefore, the ㅁ-shped Yo-Sa with two stories shows the diversity of space composition and architectural characteristics.
