Brain potential is described by using Euler Lagrange equation derived from Lagrangian based on SMNI(Statistical Mechanics of Neocortical Interaction). It is assumed that excitatory neuron firing is amplitude-modulated dominantly by the sum of two modes of frequency ${\omega}and 2 {\omega}$ . Time series of this neuron firing is numerically calculated. $I_{L}$related to low frequency distribution of power spectrum, $I_{H}$high frequency, and S(standard deviation) are introduced for the effective extraction of the dynamic property in this simulated brain potential. $I_{L}$,$I_{H}$, and S are obtained from EEG of 4 persons in rest state and are compared with thoretical results. It is of importance in various fields related to human well-being such as comfort-pursued industrial design, psychology, medicine to characterize human emotional states by EEG analysis. The pleasant and unpleasant sensation among various emotional states would be demonstrated to be determined in terms of ${\epsilon}$ and ${\gamma}$ parameters estimated by the simulated $I_{L}$-$I_{H}$-S relations.
It is extremely important to predict the logistics requirements in a scientific and rational way. However, in recent years, the improvement effect on the prediction method is not very significant and the traditional statistical prediction method has the defects of low precision and poor interpretation of the prediction model, which cannot only guarantee the generalization ability of the prediction model theoretically, but also cannot explain the models effectively. Therefore, in combination with the theories of the spatial economics, industrial economics, and neo-classical economics, taking city of Erdos as the research object, the study identifies the leading industry that can produce a large number of cargoes, and further predicts the static logistics generation of the Erdos and hinterlands. By integrating various factors that can affect the regional logistics requirements, this study established a logistics requirements potential model from the aspect of spatial economic principles, and expanded the way of logistics requirements prediction from the single statistical principles to an new area of special and regional economics.

An important potential of metabolomics-based approach is the possibility to develop fingerprints of diseases or cellular responses to classes of compounds with known common biological effect. Such fingerprints have the potential to allow classification of disease states or compounds, to provide mechanistic information on cellular perturbations and pathways and to identify biomarkers specific for disease severity and drug efficacy. Metabolic profiles of biological fluids contain a vast array of endogenous metabolites. Changes in those profiles resulting from perturbations of the system can be observed using analytical techniques, such as NMR and MS. $^1H$ NMR was used to generate a molecular fingerprint of serum or urinary sample, and then pattern recognition technique was applied to identity molecular signatures associated with the specific diseases or drug efficiency. Several metabolites that differentiate disease samples from the control were thoroughly characterized by NMR spectroscopy. We investigated the metabolic changes in human normal and clinical samples using $^1H$ NMR. Spectral data were applied to targeted profiling and spectral binning method, and then multivariate statistical data analysis (MVDA) was used to examine in detail the modulation of small molecule candidate biomarkers. We show that targeted profiling produces robust models, generates accurate metabolite concentration data, and provides data that can be used to help understand metabolic differences between healthy and disease population. Such metabolic signatures could provide diagnostic markers for a disease state or biomarkers for drug response phenotypes.

Innovations significantly affect the efficiency of the socioeconomic systems of the regions, acting as a system-forming element of their development. Modern models of economic development also consider innovation activity, intellectual potential, knowledge as the basic factors for stimulating the economic growth of the region. The purpose of the study is to develop methodological foundations for evaluating the effectiveness of a regional innovation system based on a multidimensional analysis of its effects. To further study the effectiveness of RIS, we have used one of the methods of multidimensional statistical analysis - canonical analysis. The next approach allows adding another important requirement to the methodological provision of evaluation of the level of innovation development of industries and regions, namely - the time factor, the formalization of which is realized in autoregressive dynamic economic and mathematical models and can be used in our research. Multidimensional Statistical Analysis for RIS effectiveness estimation was used to model RIS by typological regression. Based on it, multiple regression models were built in groups of regions with low and relatively high innovation potential. To solve the methodological problem of RIS research, we can also use the approach to the system as a "box" with inputs and outputs.
Objective: We are aimed to identify anti-tumor effects of Curcuma longa L. on the stomach cancer cells through molecular biologic methods. Material & Methods: We used AGS as human stomach cancer cells obtained from American Type Culture Collection. The boiled extract of Curcuma longa L. $5{\mu}l$ (Sample I), $10{\mu}l$ (Sample II) was treated to cultural media(ml) for 0, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours. We measured the killing effect on stomach cancer cells through Trypan blue exclusion test and the suppressive effect on viability of stomach cancer cells via MTT assay. For identification of its anticancer mechanism, the revelation of Bcl-2, Bcl-XL, and Bax which are genes related to apoptosis using the quantitative RT-PCR, change of mitochondria membrane permeability and membrane potential via flow cytometry, the cycle of cell mitosis, caspase cleavage and annexin V staining were examined. Spatial data integration using multiple geo-based data sets has been regarded as one of the primary GIS application issues. As for this issue, several integration schemes have been developed as the perspectives of mathematical geology or geo-mathematics. However, research-based approaches for statistical/quantitative assessments between integrated layer and input layers are not fully considered yet. Related to this niche point, in this study, spatial data integration using multiple geoscientific data sets by known integration algorithms was primarily performed. For spatial integration by using raster-based GIS functionality, geological, geochemical, geophysical data sets, DEM-driven data sets and remotely sensed imagery data sets from the Ogdong area were utilized for geological thematic mapping related by mineral potential mapping. In addition, statistical/quantitative information extraction with respective to relationships among used data sets and/or between each data set and integrated layer was carried out, with the scope of multiple data fusion and schematic statistical assessment methodology. As for the spatial integration scheme, certainty factor (CF) estimation and principal component analysis (PCA) were applied. However, this study was not aimed at direct comparison of both methodologies; whereas, for the statistical/quantitative assessment between integrated layer and input layers, some statistical methodologies based on contingency table were focused. Especially, for the bias reduction, jackknife technique was also applied in PCA-based spatial integration. Through the statistic analyses with respect to the integration information in this case study, new information for relationships of integrated layer and input layers was extracted. In addition, influence effects of input data sets with respect to integrated layer were assessed. This kind of approach provides a decision-making information in the viewpoint of GIS and is also exploratory data analysis in conjunction with GIS and geoscientific application, especially handing spatial integration or data fusion with complex variable data sets.

For the assessment of statistical characteristics of wave loads in the real sea state, the probability distribution of wave loads are computed based on the sufficient duration of computations in irregular waves. First of all, the estimation of wave impact loads is well modified applying the displacement potential formulation, which was proposed by one of authors, for solving Wagner's flow model. Consequently, the present computation method is also modified. Prior to the computation in irregular waves, preliminary computation to determine the adequate number of realization of irregular waves is examined. The effect of hull girder vibration on the statistical characteristics is examined by means of the computation with/without hull girder vibration. It is found that hull girder vibration has a certain effect on the probability of occurrence of wave loads. Furthermore, computations taking account of the effect of operation, that is the effects of ship speed and course change, is conducted for the rational evaluation of the effects of hull girder vibration. It is clarified that the effect of operation on the statistical characteristics of wave loads is significant. It is verified that the evaluation without the effect of operation may overestimate the effect of hull girder vibration.

Multivariate or clustered failure time data often occur in many medical, epidemiological, and socio-economic studies when survival data are collected from several research centers. If the data are periodically observed as in a longitudinal study, survival times are often subject to various types of interval-censoring, creating multivariate interval-censored data. Then, the event times of interest may be correlated among individuals who come from the same cluster. In this article, we propose a unified linear regression method for analyzing multivariate interval-censored data. We consider a semiparametric multivariate accelerated failure time model as a statistical analysis tool and develop a generalized Buckley-James method to make inferences by imputing interval-censored observations with their conditional mean values. Since the study population consists of several heterogeneous clusters, where the subjects in the same cluster may be related, we propose a generalized estimating equations approach to accommodate potential dependence in clusters. Our simulation results confirm that the proposed estimator is robust to misspecification of working covariance matrix and statistical efficiency can increase when the working covariance structure is close to the truth. The proposed method is applied to the dataset from a diabetic retinopathy study.
