In cellular communication, subscriber authentication is an essential technique. The mobile station should operate in conjunction with the base station to authenticate the identity. In CDMA system, authentication is the process by which information is exchanged between a mobile station and base station for the purpose of confirming the mobile station. A successful authentication process means that the mobile station and base station process identical sets of shared secret data(SSD). SSD can be generated by authentication algorithms. The cryptographic hash function is a practical way of authentication algorithms. In this paper, we propose and implement MD5 and SHA-1 with modified structure.

In this thesis, the Development of Station Buildigs Design during last a hundred years in Korea is analyzed. From the early time to today, several posts of Office of Korean National Railroads have controlled the Station Buildings Design by Standard Drawings. Sometimes, private architects joined in designing the Stations, that have the value as historic architecture. Under the Japanese imperialistic rule, Japanese Officer designed all of the stations ; that can be classified 1) wooden compromise style, 2) renaissance style, 3) northern European house style, 4) general station by standard drawing, 5) Korean house style. 6) modernism style. Especially, Korean house style was not planned to commemorate the old Korean Architecture, but to beguile the Japanese tourists' monotony of the journey in Korea. After the Independence, the Station Buildings are grouped into 1) international style, 2) modernism style with traditional details, 3) Station Complex Buildings. In the future, design of the Railroad Station Building needs to be diversified to satisfy tourists' emotion.

An automatic measurement system which collects experimental data at an unmanned station where the networking to the internet could not be accessed was developed. With a Robo-rail accessing to the unmanned station, wireless local networking between server PC at the Rob-rail and client PC at the unmanned station is possible within 30 m from an access point equipment located at the unmanned station. An algorithm for transferring the data file which is saved in the client PC at the unmanned station to the server PC in the Robo-rail was proposed. IEEE-1394 camera was used to collect the data at the client PC. An extracting program from the IEEE-1394 captured images to character data and number data was developed using image processing technique, which drastically reduces the size of data file comparing to that of the raw image file.

In this study we deal with a simple computer simulation algorithm to decide the PRT station capacity. PRT system is different from the conventional rail traffic system in such point that the station is off-line so as to guarantee a very short headway. This characteristic has correlation with the accurate prediction of the line capacity and with the scale of the off-line station. In this paper physical factors and vehicles per hour that are necessary to decide the off-line station scale and the off-line station capacity, respectively, are shown through a simple compter simulations.
