Objective: The aim of this study was to introduce newly developed cooperation group standards of acupuncture needles for single use and to make a contribution to the future development of Korean Industrial Standards (KS) of acupuncture needles for single use. Results and Conclusion: Quality assurance and quality control with high safety profile is one of the most critical issues in medical device manufacturing. Up to now, proper attention has not been paid to this issue with respect to acupuncture needles for single use and their related devices. We, therefore, organized a committee to make guidelines to produce an acupuncture needle with high quality and safety. In the committee, we reviewed the topic from an historical viewpoint, and investigated the current situation of the standardization of acupuncture needles in other developed countries. Finally, we developed the cooperation group standards in advance of development of KS on the acupuncture needles for single use. The standards are composed of 12 sections describing: Scope, Normative references, Definitions, Materials, Configuration, Appearance and Cleanliness, Quality, Sterilization and Safety, Processing of Surface and Coating Material, Test, Packaging, and Labeling. We hope that the standards would be useful guidelines to produce high quality acupuncture needles and play an important role in the development of KS in the future.

본 연구에서는 외국의 국방표준화 정보관리 발전동향을 살펴보고 우리나라 현 실태를 분석한 후 민수-국방분야에 공통 적용가능한 규격/표준 공통 분류목록의 제정과 이를 바탕으로 한 표준화 정보기반 통합DB의 구축 및 국방표준화 정보체계의 구축방안을 제시하였다. 규격/표준 공통 분류목록은 국방규격과 한국산업표준의 그룹핑을 통해 표준화 대상식별에 관한 보다 효과적인 방법을 제시하였으며, 표준화 정보기반 통합DB 구축을 통해 규격/표준과 다양한 정보들과의 상호참조 기반을 제공하였고, 표준화 정보체계를 통해 민수-국방분야 전반에 걸친 규격/표준정보 활용의 토대를 제시하였다.

Failures of equipments are linked directly to extensive damages of human lives or financial losses from the increasing uses of railway signaling equipments utilizing computers. Then safety organizations have to establish for guaranteeing safety during the system life-cycle. In this paper, we examine the relationship between railway signaling standards and other safety standards for safety meaning establishment.

본 연구는 1991년 "영유아보육법" 제정 이후 20여 년간 우리나라의 어린이집 현황과 설치 및 인가 기준의 변화와 보육의 공공성에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 1991년부터 2013년까지의 어린이집 현황과 "영유아보육법"의 개정에 따른 어린이집의 설치기준에 대한 변화 경향을 입지조건, 유형 및 규모, 면적, 실내 외 설비, 놀이터, 기타로 구분하여 살펴보았으며, 그것의 인가기준에 대해 알아보았다. 이와 함께 보육의 공공성에 대한 개념과 기준을 정리하였다. 마지막으로 "영유아보육법"과 시행규칙에 나타난 어린이집의 설치기준과 인가 기준의 문제점을 제시하고, 향후 어린이집 설치 및 인가 제도의 개선과 공공성 확보를 위한 제안을 하였다. 이러한 기초자료 제공 및 관련 논의를 통해 본 연구는 우리나라 보육의 질을 제공하는데 기여하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was first to reveal the factors of time management behaviors of college students. The second purpose was to examine the effects of those factors on the satisfaction of time management. The data were collected from 400 college students in Seoul by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, Factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis and Multiple linear regression were conducted by SPSS WIN12.0. The major findings were as follows. First, factor analysis of 20 items on the time management behaviors related questions revealed six factors: establishment of standards, reality, overlapping, checking, adjusting and facilitating. Second, many factors such as facilitating, establishment of standards, reality, overlapping were significant in the regression analyses for the satisfaction of time management. Especially, establishment of standards and facilitating had high levels of effort on the satisfaction of time management. In combination, these results suggest that establishment of standards and facilitating are very important factors for high satisfaction of time management.

According to Geum-River restoration project, given conditions for management of water environment in the Geum-River were changed. Because of those changes, this study was investigated the establishment of water quality standards and water quality target in the Geum-River basin. For management of water environment in the Geum-River, the sub-basins and watersheds are newly divided and the water quality and ecosystem standards in the sub-basins are reestablished. Considering the consistency of water environment policy and legal system, the legal name of sub-basins and watersheds are unified. TMDL (total maximum daily load) should be implemented in the sub-basin where exceeds the water quality standards and the number of water pollutant among the water quality parameters which exceeds the water quality standards are extremely minimized. The water quality target of water pollutant for implementation of TMDL should be established same or higher concentration of water quality standards.

Shore hardness test was developed in 1906 to overcome the limit of Brinell hardness test. However, the detailed requirements on the tester was not clearly specified except the scale, i.e., 100 HS for high carbon steel and 10 HS for soft brass. As a result, the shore hardness was used for quite long time without well established standards. For the establishment of hardness standards, standard tester, standard procedure, and standard hardness block must be provided. So far the standard of Shore hardness was maintained by correlating Shore hardness scale to Vickers hardness through converting equation. This is the so called converted Shore hardness and it is not the true Shore hardness standard strictly. In this paper, the possibility of establishing Shore hardness standard based on the Shore standard hardness tester is reported.

With rapid industrial development, railway has become a main traffic means. But, the railway noise has caused much annoyance for the residents living nearby railway track. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the environmental quality standards for railway noise like the environmental quality standards for traffic noise. In this study, the domestic and foreign standards for railway noise were investigated with analysis of existing data and field survey of noise condition at near a railway.

Providing an adequate housing to the socially underprivileged with a weak economic base is the most difficult task of housing policies. Korea established minimum housing standards and has used them for housing policies. However, the level of Korean minimum housing standards is far lower than that of foreign minimum housing standards. Thus, this study made a comparative analysis of Korean minimum housing standards with foreign housing standards in various aspects in order to guarantee housing quality of the socially underprivileged in Korea. In particular, the floor area and ratio of small lease homes are minutely examined to present the actual housing standard of the socially underprivileged. The level of Korean minimum housing standards suggested in this paper is very close to that of Japanese minimum housing standard, which is 37.95 $m^2$ for a 3 member family and just above Chombard de Lauw's pathological limit (36.03 $m^2$). As this research is specifically focused on the establishment of minimum floor area standards for the socially underprivileged, further research should be made in consideration of more specific requirements of various groups for the socially underprivileged.

The usage level of pesticides in Korea reached the relatively high extent of 13 kg a.i./ha for arable land, and therefore, establishment of legal standards on pesticide residues in soil environment has been requested. This paper presents relevant information on soil contamination and proposes tentative standards on 20 pesticides in agricultural, urban and forest soils, respectively, as well as needed background data to support the justification of the standards.
