This study examines the various types of consciousness about sexuality exhibited by girls' high school students. The analysis was carried out utilizing two subject groups with the first being academic course students and the second being vocational course students. A 51 question questionnaire was prepared based on a literature review and previous research. The questionnaire was developed based on the results of two preliminary surveys, a reliability test, and a correction. A total of 721 questionnaires were distributed to students of 3 vocational and 3 academic courses. The analysis of the results was carried out using by means of SPSS 10.0. The study generated conclusive findings about each groups' viewpoint toward sex, the actual condition of their relationship with members of the opposite sex, the passages of knowledge about sex, the content of current sexuality education at school and the ideal type of sexuality education. This study shows that the current standardized content of sexuality education is ineffective. Sexuality education at schools in South Korea has reached a point, where research for more effective sexuality education is required.

The mechanical stability of solder joints in electronic devices with Sn-Ag-Cu is a continuous issue since the material was applied to the industry. Various shock test methods were developed and standardized tests are used in the industry worldwide. Although it is applied for several years, the detailed mechanism of the shock induced failure mechanism is still under investigation. In this study, the effect of external temperature was observed on large Flip-chip BGA components. The weight and size of the large package produced a high strain region near the corner of the component and thus show full fracture at around 200G level shock input. The shock performance at elevated temperature, at $100^{\circ}C$ showed degradation based on board pad designs. The failure mode and potential failure mechanisms are discussed.

The purpose of this study were to develop short form versions of MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories - Korean and to discuss clinical implications. Two short versions were developed: one for $9\sim17$ month-olds(including 69 words and 17 object manipulation skills) and the other for $18\sim35$ month-olds (including 128 words and 5 grammatical items). Short versions seemed to be representative of full versions and showed developmental validity. Short versions showed concomitant validity with SELSI which is a standardized test for Korean children under 37 month-olds. Norm tables for words and criteria for object manipulation and grammaticality are also provided. M-B CDI-K short versions could be used as a preliminary screening tool to identify Korean children with language impairment economically and efficiently. Cautions using short versions of M-B CDI-K are discussed.

This paper proposes a multiple switch mode power supply (SMPS) system based on the wireless network which controls variable load. The system enables power supply of up to 600W using 200W SMPS as a unit module and provides a controlling function of output power based on variable load and a monitoring function based on wireless network. The controlling function for output power measures the variation of output power and facilitates efficient power supply by controlling output power based on the measured variation value. The monitoring function guarantees a stable power supply by observing the multiple SMPS system in real time via wireless network. The performance of the proposed system was examined by various experiments. In addition, it was verified through standardized test of Korea Testing Certification. The results were given and discussed.

Author examined the chewing patterns between the 16 normal subjects and the 10 complete denture wearers with LED mandibular tracking device, and analized the chewing envelope and opening, closing velocity during chewing various test foods-standardized carrot, ham and almond. The results were as follows; 1. The chewing envelope of carrot chewing was greater than that of ham chewing in both groups. 2. The average opening velocity was faster than the average closing velocity in both groups. 3. During chewing carrot or almond, the chewing envelope of dentate stoup was greater than that of denture group, but during chewing ham, there was no statistical difference. 4. During chewing carrot or almond the average opening and closing velocity in dentate group were faster than those of denture group.

Scanners play an important role in digitally reproducing the color and imaging of original documents used in public offices; however, the current system lacks a standard for digitized documents created by scanners, complicating efforts to create a digitized system. In particular, macrography cannot guarantee the accuracy and reliability of digitalized color documents, pictures, and photographs created by scanners. To this end, we develop a standardized evaluation tool and test target to certify digitalized documents created by a scanner in the domestic environment. In this study, we enhance the accuracy and reliability of scanned data to create an advanced standard evaluation tool for scanners. Moreover, to produce a scanner certification standard, we overcome existing problems related to the growing market. We anticipate that this new standard will see a high degree of application in the current environment.

The structure and dimensionality of the User Information Satisfaction (UIS) construct is an important theoretical issue that received considerable attentions. The acceptance of UIS as a standardized instrument requires confirmation that it explains and measures the user information satisfaction construct and its component. Based on a simple of 670 respondents who participated in dealing with the Public Management Information System (PMIS), this research used a confirmatory factor analysis to test the alternavtive models of underlying factor structure and assessed the reliability and validity of these factors and items in the PMIS. The result provided a support for a revised UIS model with four first-order factors and one PMIS The result provided a support for a revised UIS model with four first-order factors and one second-order (higher-order) factor in PMIS. To cross-validata these results, the author reexamined two prior data sets. The results showed that the revised model provides better model-data fit in all three data sets.

A standardized communication protocol is required to exchange the data of electric charge and current-using electric power through the two-way communications between the smart meter and electric power supplier. In this paper, a two-way communications technologies is designed for control technologies and de/registration services of electric equipment, and the international communication protocols is applied to the communications technologies.

In the present studies, samples of blood were taken from 24 Holstein cattle over 2 years old. By using the angled tube method the normal ESR values were determined in cattle under various diseases. The results obtained were summarized as follows ; The standardized ESR/hr using 45$^{\circ}$ angled capillary tubes were 19.0% in case of necrotic mastitis, 23.0% in nephritis, 12.2% in anemia and 4.2% in diarrhea. And the ESR was increased from some necrotic disease, decreased from diarrhea conditions and general the normal ESRs were shown in the sub-clinical or recovery stage of infections or disorders.

After stepping into a new field of vacuum 30 years ago, our company has grown up steadily as a specialized vacuum industry, and now we can provide vacuum devices covering most of the pressure range. We are planning to put out high level dry pump like a multistage Roots pump on the market in the near future. Procedures of technology development for designing, fabricating, and testing the multistage Roots pump of 600 L/min class will be briefly reported. Core items of the technical development on the multistage Roots pump are as follows; elaborated profile design of 3-lobe rotors using an involute curve, optimization of rotor dimensions, especially for clearances and rotor width, considering the pumping speed, compression ratio and heat load, and establishment of a standardized test system. At present, the multistage Roots pump is about to come into commercialization.
