Composting is very important in practicing environmentally sustainable agriculture because compost application conserve soil and its fertility. Composting is also another important factor in achieving high national recycling goal above 20%. To encourage composting, it is necessary to revise current regulations on composting. Current regulation set the limit only for 4 metals and the limit is significantly strict, especially for lead, which dictates less than 150ppm. In this paper, authors suggested reasonable standard for some heavy metal concentration in compost taking into account other country's criteria.

As the consumers' anxiety for food increases, the interest in food safety also increases. To satisfy the public requirement on food safety, the government is trying to set up a food safety standard by using regulations and certification systems. However, there is still difficulty in building up complex traceability systems for medicinal crops including ginseng due to the low participation of farming industries. The purpose of this empirical research is to draw factors that impede the GAP adoption of ginseng farms. By comparing the average attitude and intention to adopt the ginseng farms' depending on its characteristics through a two-tailed test, it was drawn that continuous farming education can positively influence the GAP adoption of the ginseng farms.

Recently, the concern for the environmental noise has increased due to the growing of the living standard. The environmental noise regulations based on the equivalent noise level are widely used. However, the noise level, which Is based mainly on the magnitude with A-weighting, the important characteristics of noises in frequency and time domains and the impulsive nature cannot be assessed properly. These can have substantial effects on how human respond to noise. Therefore, the noise evaluation methodology based on the sound quality rather than the equivalent noise level can be more suitable to represent human response to the environmental noise. This paper describes the study on environmental noise quality analysis for various noises. A cluster analysis was carried out and the noises were classified into several clusters using the values of sound quality metrics. The classification was confirmed by comparing time and frequency characteristics of the noises. And then the result of Jury testing was analysis.

This study proposed the optimum design values for the biological clean room system observing the regulations of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). Even though the standard for industrial clean room system has been well established, the basis for biological food clean room system is the first stage. In order to prevent the contaminations in advance for food storages, processes, and distributions, the criterion of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point is positively required. This study also suggested the possible ways of how to avoid the hazardous contaminations.

In Germany, community based daycare facilities has been supported by long term care policies since the 1970s. With the legislation of Care Insurance, those policy has been developed further. As the use of daycare facilities decreased and the financial burden for consumers increased, administrators of facilities has been seeking for innovative programs and management methods in order to improve the service. For the same reason, policy makers have been pursuing new regulations of architectural standards of facilities. By looking at legislations (i.e., Law of Care Insurance, Law of Heim, and DIN18025) that stipulate architectural standard of facilities in Germany, this study will identify the development process of architectural change of daycare facilities. In addition, the study aims to contribute to the discussion on the use of day care facilities in Korea in terms of the legislation of Care Insurance soon to be introduced.

Low Floor buses have no steps to get on or get off the main cabin to provide the old and the handicapped with easy access. The car body for the low floor bus was designed to consider Korean physical standard, passenger capacity (standee, seated, handicapped), arrangement of vehicle components, and bus law or regulations. It was designed as an one body, without any reinforcement armature, which has light-weight sandwich constructions with glass epoxy skins, aluminum honeycomb cores and inner-frames. In this paper, torsion rigidity of the designed car body was evaluated and compared with that of a car body with reinforcement armatures in the cabin. Finite element method verified that the designed car body without reinforcement armatures could satisfy requirements of torsion rigidity.

This study analyzed the offshore plant industry and related regulations such as ISO, IEC, and Norsok Standards to develop an integrated network management system (INMS) capable of both on-site and remote management and configuration of IP-based network equipment in offshore plants. The INMS was designed based on actual specifications and POS plans, and a plan of management was verified through an offshore plant engineering company. Various modules such as PAGA interface modules, CCTV, IP-PBX, and HF-radio communication modules were developed for system implementation. Protocol and data design and screen design were followed by framework development and introduction of the automatic satellite communication function.

To deal with the water pollution arising from the construction site, this study raises the issues of management and laws and it suggest the efficient way to reduce water pollution by through the case studies. In order to study, seven cases were selected from "Construction Environmental Management Best Practice Competition" co - sponsored by Construction Association of Korea and Construction Environment Association. As a study result, there are problems that depending on the characteristic of the construction site environment simple alone settling facilities can not handle muddy and dirty water generated by the construction site. However, when the construction site applied improved water pollution control facilities with reflecting the characteristic of muddy and dirty water. The problem can be solved moreover it can achieve exceeded emission standard. Therefore new regulations and management with water pollution control facilities considering characteristic of environment is needed to cope with water pollution arising from the construction site.

The engine is the most significant and essential part of the aircraft. As a result, systematical handling in the aircraft development stage is required from engine design to implementation to the full-scale airframe. This survey demonstrates the procedures demanded by the KAS 23 Civil Aircraft to acquire the engine Type Certification and the flight test procedures for ensuring the operational stability. Surveys were conducted on domestic and international aircraft engine certifications, technical regulations and documentations related to the Means of Compliance for flight test development stage. In addition, organized reference items that should be considered for the certification of engine flight test procedures were reviewed based on the KC-100.

CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) is the subject which has been discussed for a long time, but real preparations of the corporations begin recently. International organizations and global corporation councils have announced their own guidelines about CSR The corporations have to establish responsible departments in their organizations and begin to publish reports which deals with the social responsibility. GRI(Global Reporting Initiative) have launched international guideline for corporate reporting and ISO has progressed making international standard for CSR. This paper is a study about understanding the international regulations tendency of CSR and the trend of Corporate Reporting for their sustainable development of the organizations.
