Robust adaptive fuzzy controller for an inverted pendulum

  • This paper proposes an indirect adaptive fuzzy controller for general SISO nonlinear systems. No a priori information on bounding constants of uncertainties including reconstruction errors and optimal fuzzy parameters is needed. The control law and the update laws for fuzzy rule structure and estimates of fuzzy parameters and bounding constants are determined so that the Lyapunov stability of the whole closed loop system is guaranteed. The computer simulation results for an inverted pendulum system show the performance of the proposed robust adaptive fuzzy controller.

  • The complexation of hydrazide schiff base ligands such as N,N'-oxalylbis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone), N,N'-malonylbis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone), and N,N'-succinylbis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone) with Cd(II) ion was studied by polarographic method in DMSO solution. The order of stability constants was OBSH < MBSH < SBSH, and these ligands formed stable complexes with Cd(II) ion. The stability constants of complexation were measured at various temperatures. As the results, ${\Delta}$H and ${\Delta}$S of the complexation were distributed on the complex stabilities.

  • The complexation of N,N'-oxalylbis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone) (OBSH) with Zn (II), Cd (II), and Pb(II) ions was studied by polarographic method in DMSO solution. The order of stability constants was Cd(II) < Zn(II) < pb(II), and all heavy metal ions formed stable complex with OBSH ligand. The stability constants of complexation were measured at various temperatures. As the results, enthalpy and entropy changes of the complexation were distributed on the complex stabilities.

  • The complexation of platinum and palladium with synthetic polyelectrolytes was studied. The successive and overall stability constants of Pd(II) with PEI and 2PVP were obtained by potentiometric titration. Because of the slow equilibrium time, the potentiometric titrations were performed using the home-made automatic titrator in order to analyze the complexations according to the modified Bjerrum method. The complex formation constant of Pt(IV) with 2PVP, measured by differential pulse polarography, was calculated from the peak currents that were obtained in non-complexing media and in solution containing 2PVP.

  • Interactions between thiamine.HCl and its disulfide derivatives TTFD. TPD and .alpha., .betha. cyclodextrins were investigated. By measuring the H-NMR, C-NMR chemical shifts, the assumption that cyclodextrin may from a inclusion complex with thiamines was supported qualitatively. To calculated the stability constants of them, anion exchange chromatography was applied. The simple, rapid HPLC method was proved to be pertinent thiamine/cyclodextrin system which was chemically unstable and less soluble.

  • Alexseev's formula generalizes the variation of constants formula and permits the study of a nonlinear perturbation of a system with certain stability properties. In this paper, we investigate bounds for solutions of the functional nonlinear perturbed differential systems using the two notion of h-stability and $t\infty$-similarity.

  • The paper presents the dynamic stability of a vertical cantilevered pipe conveying fluid and having translational linear spring supports. Real pipe systems may have some elastic hanger supports or other mechanical attached parts., which can be regarded as attached spring supports. Governing equations are derived by energy expressions, and numerical technique using Galerkin's method is applied to discretize the equations of small motion of the pipe. Effects of spring supports on the dynamic stability of a vertical cantilevered pipe conveying fluid are fully investigated for various locations and spring constants of elastic supports.

  • Algal(II) Multidentate N, O-Schiff base ligands, such as bis(salicylaldehyde) ethylenediimine(SED), bis(salicylaldehyde) propylenediimine(SPD), bis(salicylaldehyde) diethylenetriimine(SDT), bis (salicylaldehyde) triethylenetetraimine(STT) and bis(salicyl-aldehyde)tetraethylenepentaimine(STP) were prepared. Stepwise proton dissociation constants of the Schiff base were measured potentiometrically in ethanol and a mixture of 70% dioxane and 30% $H_2O$. The stability constants of copper(II)-Schiff base complexes were in the order of Cu(II)-SPD${\leq}$Cu(II)-SED~STT${\leq}$Cu(II)-STP. Oxidation-reduction process of the Cu(II)-Schiff base complexes was involved with one-electron reaction.
