고용량 광 디스크의 고속 재생을 위한 병렬 데이터 추출구조 (Parallel Data Extraction Architecture for High-speed Playback of High-density Optical Disc)

  • 광 디스크를 재생하려면 광 신호를 아날로그 전기신호로 변환하는 광 픽업을 거치고 난 뒤 신호 간 간섭을 없애기 위해 아날로그적으로 등화를 하고, 등화된 아날로그 신호를 AD 변환하여 디지털적으로 동기화된 데이터와 클록을 추출해야 한다. BD와 같은 고용량의 광 디스크를 저속으로 재생하여 동기화된 데이터와 클록을 추출하는데 었어서 추출 데이터 BER을 최소화하는 알고리즘은 다양하게 개발되어 적용되고 있다. 그러나 고용량의 광 디스크를 고속으로 재생 할 때 저속에서 적용된 알고리즘을 동일한 혼성 데이터 PLL과 PRML 하드웨어 구조에 적용하려면 800MHz 이상의 신호 처리가 이루어져야 한다. 일반적으로 사용되는 0.13-${\mu}m$ CMOS 공정에서 기존 방식의 구조를 가지고 800MHz의 이상의 신호처리를 위해서는 고속으로 동작해야하는 아날로그 코어 등이 필요하고 많은 시간과 노력의 레이아웃이 수반되어야 하는 등의 문제점이 제기된다. 본 논문에서는 고용량 광 디스크의 최고 배속인 BD 8x까지 동작 가능한 데이터 및 클록 추출 회로로서 병렬 데이터 PLL 및 PRML 구조를 제안하였다. 제안한 구조를 가지고 실험한 결과 BD 8x 에 해당하는 속도에서 오류 없이 동작함을 확인하였다.

국내 건축물의 피난안정성평가를 위한 비상대피 시 재실자 이동속도에 관한 연구 (A study of on the occupant movement speed during emergency evacuations for the evacuation safety assessment of domestic buildings)

  • 최근 건축물 내의 피난안전성을 확보하고자 계획 및 설계단계부터 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 검토와 피난평가를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 평가는 초기입력요소에 따라 결과 값이 달라지기에 무엇보다 요소별 Data구축이 중요하지만, 국내는 피난관련 실험 및 연구가 미흡해 대부분이 국외기준을 준용하고 있는 게 현실이다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 재실자 이동속도 Data 구축의 목적으로 연령별 피난이동속도실험을 수행 분석해 보았다. 먼저 국내외 피난이동속도 관련 연구를 분석했으며 국내인 134명을 상대로 피난이동속도 실험을 시행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 실험으로 도출된 이동속도 결과치와 기존의 국외 이동속도와 비교 분석하여 국내피난상황과의 검토 및 확인절차를 실시하였다. 앞으로 이렇게 도출된 실험 Data는 국내 피난안정성평가의 이동속도 관련 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

고속카메라 데이터 분석을 통한 발사체 지지대 분산 궤적의 근사적 예측 방법 (A Prediction Method for Sabot-Trajectory of Projectile by using High Speed Camera Data Analysis)

  • In this paper, we have proposed a prediction method for sabot-trajectory of projectile using high speed camera data analysis. Through analyzing trajectory of sabot with high speed camera data, we can extract its real velocity and acceleration including effects of friction force, pressure of flume, etc. Using these data, we suggest a prediction method for sabot-trajectory of projectile having variable acceleration, especially for minimum and maximum acceleration, by using interpolation method for velocity and acceleration data of sabot. Also we perform the projectile launching tests to achieve the trajectory of sabot in case of minimum and maximum thrust. Simulation results show that they are similar to real tests data, for example velocity, acceleration and the trajectory of sabot.

Design of A High-Speed Data Transmission System for Satellite Ground Inspection Trial

  • A high-speed data transmission system is designed for the ground inspection equipment of satellite measurement and control. Based on USB2.0, the system consists of interface chip CY7C68013A, programmable logic processing unit EP4CE30F23C8, analog/digital and digital/analog conversion units. The working principle of data transmission is analyzed, and the system software logic and hardware composition scheme are detailed. The system was utilized to output/capture and store specific data packets. The results show that the high-speed data transmission speed can reach 38MB/s, and the system is effective for satellite test requirements.

생물생산시설 설계용 기상자료 분석 (Analysis of Weather Data for Design of Biological Production Facility)

  • This study was attempted to provide some fundamental data for safety structrural design of biological production facility. Wind load and snow load, acting on agricultural structures is working more sensitive than any other load. Therefore, wind speed and snow depth according to return periods for design load estimation were calculated by frequency analysis using the weather data(maximum instantaneous wind speed, maximum wind speed, maximum depth of snow cover and fall) of 68 regions in Korea. Equations for estimating maximum instantaneous wind speed with maximum wind speed were developed for all, inland and seaside regions. The results were about the same as the current eqution in general. Design wind speed and snow depth according to return periods were calculated and Local design wind load and snow load depending on return periods were presented together with iso-wind speed and iso-snow depth maps. The calculated design snow depth by maximum depth of snow cover were higher than design snow depth by maximum depth of snow fall. Considering wind speed and snow depth, protected cultivation is very difficult in Ullungdo, Gangwon seaside and contiguity inland regions, and strong structural design is needed in the west-south seaside against wind speed, and structure design of biological production facility in these regions need special consideration.

이어도 주변해역에서 수중음속의 시공간적 변동성 (Temporal and Spatial Variability of Sound Speed in the Sea around the Ieodo)

  • The impact of sound speed variability in the sea is the very important on acoustic propagation for the underwater acoustic systems. Understanding of the temporal and spatial variability of ocean sound speed in the sea around the Ieodo were obtained using oceanographic data (temperature, salinity). from the Korea Oceanographic Data Center, collected by season for 17 years. The vertical distributions of sound speed are mainly related to seasonal variations and various current such as Chinese coastal water, Yellow Sea Cold Water (YSCW), Kuroshio source water. The standard deviations show that great variations of sound speed exist in the upper layer and observation station between 16 and 18. In order to quantitatively explain the reason for sound speed variations, Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF) analysis was performed on sound speed data at the Line 316 covering 68 cruises between 2002 and 2018. Three main modes of EOFs respectively revealed 55, 29, and 5% the total variance of sound speed. The first mode of the EOFs was associated with influence of surface heating. The second EOFs pattern shows that contributions of YSCW and surface heating. The first and second modes had seasonal and inter-annul variations.

Non-stationary statistical modeling of extreme wind speed series with exposure correction

  • Extreme wind speed analysis has been carried out conventionally by assuming the extreme series data is stationary. However, time-varying trends of the extreme wind speed series could be detected at many surface meteorological stations in China. Two main reasons, exposure change and climate change, were provided to explain the temporal trends of daily maximum wind speed and annual maximum wind speed series data, recorded at Hangzhou (China) meteorological station. After making a correction on wind speed series for time varying exposure, it is necessary to perform non-stationary statistical modeling on the corrected extreme wind speed data series in addition to the classical extreme value analysis. The generalized extreme value (GEV) distribution with time-dependent location and scale parameters was selected as a non-stationary model to describe the corrected extreme wind speed series. The obtained non-stationary extreme value models were then used to estimate the non-stationary extreme wind speed quantiles with various mean recurrence intervals (MRIs) considering changing climate, and compared to the corresponding stationary ones with various MRIs for the Hangzhou area in China. The results indicate that the non-stationary property or dependence of extreme wind speed data should be carefully evaluated and reflected in the determination of design wind speeds.

ITS 수집 및 운영 자료를 활용한 구간과속단속시스템 설치효과 분석 (Analysis of Installation Effect of Section Speed Enforcement System Using ITS Collection and Operation Data)

  • 구간과속단속시스템은 시점 순간속도, 종점 순간속도, 구간 평균속도를 측정하여 가장 많이 과속한 부분에 대해서만 과태료를 부과하는 방식으로 관련 연구 자료에 따르면 해당 시스템을 적용한 도로에서 속도 및 사고 감소 효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 도로교통법에 따라 시스템의 대부분은 고속도로에 설치되어 기존의 연구는 고속도로 구간을 대상으로 수행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 관련법령 개정에 따라 일반국도에도 구간과속단속시스템의 설치가 확대될 것으로 예상 되는 바 일반국도 자동차전용도로인 국도3호선 성남이천로에 설치된 구간과속단속시스템을 대상으로 ITS 수집 및 운영 자료를 활용하여 설치 전, 시범운영기간, 단속이후로 구분하여 통행속도, 통행속도에 대한 표준편차 및 교통사고 감소여부를 분석하였다. 분석결과 설치 후 통행속도, 표준편차, 교통사고는 각각 13%, 25%, 70% 감소하여 구간과속단속시스템 설치가 사고감소에 기여하는 바가 큰 것으로 확인되었다.

신경망 모델을 이용한 차량 절대속도 추정 (Absolute Vehicle Speed Estimation using Neural Network Model)

  • Vehicle dynamics control systems are. complex and non-linear, so they have difficulties in developing a controller for the anti-lock braking systems and the auto-traction systems. Currently the fuzzy-logic technique to estimate the absolute vehicle speed is good results in normal conditions. But the estimation error in severe braking is discontented. In this paper, we estimate the absolute vehicle speed by using the wheel speed data from standard 50-tooth anti-lock braking system wheel speed sensors. Radial symmetric basis function of the neural network model is proposed to implement and estimate the absolute vehicle speed, and principal component analysis on input data is used. Ten algorithms are verified experimentally to estimate the absolute vehicle speed and one of those is perfectly shown to estimate the vehicle speed with a 4% error during a braking maneuver.

  • In a conventional speed sensorless stator flux-oriented(SFO) induction motor drive system, when the estimated speed is transformed into the sample-data model using the first-forward difference approximation, the sampled data model has a modeling error which, in turn, produces an error in the rotor speed estimation. The error included in the estimated speed is removed by the use of a low pass filter (LPF). As the result, the delay of the estimated speed occurs in transients by the use of the LPF This paper investigates the problem of a conventional speed sensorless SFO system due to the delay of estimated speed in the filed weakening region. In addition, this paper proposes a method to estimate exactly speed by using Luenberger observer, The proposed method is verified by experiment with a 5-hp induction motor drive.
