Concrete is to be important quality in placement point and exact test method needed about early judgement method concrete on placement point. But early judgement method of concrete proposed various kind of method because the problems of accuracy and the time required of test exists, it is used within the limits. This study is to propose of early strength judgement by using microwave for accurate estimating early strength of concrete and to develop test machine. Through out this study we find that belows. 1) Strength development of concrete specimen according to the time heated by microwave showed the height strength development in 9 minutes regardless of slump and w/c. 2) As cooling time is long, strength of concrete specimen according to the time heated by microwave showed high strength development and this tendency is like regardless of heating time, w/c and slump. 3) As w/c is high, accelerating strength development according to w/c showed lower strength development and this tendency is like regardless of slump, heating time and cooling time. 4) As slump is big, compressive strength of specimen in standard curing showed lower value and as w/c is big, strength development showed lower

To study the reasonable design thermal loads, a steel box girder bridge specimen, which has no concrete slab, was manufactured with real size dimensions. The temperature data was obtained at the web and diaphragm using thermo gauges that were attached according to height. In the hottest day, the temperature differences between the top and bottom of the bridge model were calculated. The temperatures in the actual bridge were measured and the temperature of the bridge specimen was compared. The temperature gradient models were proposed in both the web and the diaphragm. The proposed models showed a correlation of approximately 95.8% compared to the Euro code. This study can provide basis data for temperature-load design in the nation.

Experimental methods to determine non-linear properties of rubber materials for finite element analysis is discussed. In simple tension tests, dumbbell specimens are generally used to obtain states of pure tension strain. It is shown that the strip specimens of which length is over 10 times of the width can be also used. In simple compression tests, the effect of the friction between the test specimen and the platens is investigated. the new test method with the tapered platen is proposed in order to overcome the effect of friction and it is verified by experimental and finite element analysis results. In pure shear tests, it is shown that the width of the specimen must be at least 10 times of the height. The mechanical conditioning is suggested to stabilize the properties of the rubber materials. Also, engine mount for automotive is analyzed and experimented for each cases.
SPS(Spark Plasma Sintering ) is known to be an excellent sintering method for porous materials. In the present work an attempt has been made of fabricating porous 316L Stainless steel with good mechanical properties by using controlled SPS process Porosity was 21%~53% at sintering temperature of $600^{\circ}C$~100$0^{\circ}C$ The limit of porosity with available mechanical strength was 30% at given experimental conditions. Porosity can be controlled by manipulating the intial height of the compact by means of the supporter and punch length. The applied pressure can be exerted entirely upon the supporter, giving no influence on the specimen. The specimen is then able to be sintered pressurelessly. In this case porosity could be controlled from 38 to 45% with good mechanical strength at sintering temperature of 90$0^{\circ}C$. As the holding time increased, neck between the particles grew progressively, but shrinkage of the specimen did not occur, implying that the porosity remained constant during the whole sintering process.

Flat slab systems are vastly used in multi-story buildings because of their savings in story height and construction time, as well as for their flexibility in architectural remodeling. However, they frequently suffer brittle punching-shear failure around columns, especially when subjected to lateral loads. Therefore, seismic codes labeled flat slabs as non-ductile systems. This research goal is investigating some construction alternatives to enhance flat slab ductility and deformability. The alternatives are: adding different types of punching-shear reinforcement, using discreet fibers in concrete mixes, and increasing thickness of slab around columns. The experimental study included preparation and testing of seven half-scale interior slab-column connections up to failure. The first specimen is considered a reference, the second two specimens made of concrete mixes with different volumetric ratios of polymer fibers. Another three specimens reinforced with different types of punching-shear reinforcement, and the last specimen constructed with drop panel of inverted pyramidal shape. It is found that using the inverted pyramid-shape drop panel of specimen, increases the punching-shear capacity, and the initial and the post-cracking stiffnesses. The initial elastic stiffnesses are different for all specimens especially for the slab with closed stirrups where it is experienced the highest initial stiffness compared to the reference slab.

The use of non-bearing lightweight wall has increased recently due to the increase of high-rise buildings and supply of long-life housing. Lightweight wall has advantages such as reducing the self-weight of the building, convenience in installation, and shortening construction period, however, must have a sufficient strength to external force. This study standardized the stiffness (static horizontal load resistance) test method for lightweight walls by using the actual impact load obtained through the load analysis test conducted in the previous studies. The size of specimen was set up as height 2.4m and width 3.0m. Test apparatus and test methods were referred to BS 5234-2:1992. However, the loading level applied to the specimen was divided into 3 steps (3000N, 1000N, 500N) that can be applied selectively depending on the purpose of the wall. The deformation characteristics according to the same loading level were vary depending on the specimen's type, and the evaluation criteria for functional damage may vary depending on the material, method of construction, and purpose of wall. Therefore, we did not suggest unified evaluation criteria of the stiffness to the test results.
Purpose: To perform a comparative study on curing shrinkage according to the thickness of photopolymerization resin. Methods: Stainless steel molds of 2, 4, and 6 mm heights were prepared. The 2, 4, and 6 mm-height molds were classified as the 2H, 4H, and 6H groups, respectively. A photopolymerization resin was injected into the stainless steel mold. Photopolymerization was carried out using a photopolymer machine. During photopolymerization, the wavelength and intensity of 400~405 nm were set to 10, the highest intensity among 1~10. Photopolymerization was performed for 30 min per specimen (each group=10). The inner and outer areas of the specimen were measured. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis H test (α=0.05). Results: In terms of the inner and outer diameters of the photopolymerization resin specimen, the 2H group contracted the most, whereas the 6H group contracted the least. A statistically significant difference was found between the groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The amount of light irradiation of the photopolymerization resin must be adjusted according to the thickness.

In recent years, the use of high-strength grout has gained popularity in offshore wind power generation complexes for facility foundations and bridges. These marine wind farms require support for horizontal loads from wind and waves. To ensure the strength of the grout produced in environments similar to the actual placing site, this study investigated the curing of high-strength grout discharged through pump pressure in various environments, and examined the difference in strength according to different variables. Compressive strength measurements revealed that the core specimen collected from the bottom (3cm) and uppermost (50cm) of the specimen exhibited lower strength compared to other height specimens, while the core specimen obtained from the corner exhibited lower strength compared to the center. These findings suggest that the strength difference between the center and the corner is more pronounced when curing at low temperatures. This effect is greater than the strength reduction that typically occurs during low-temperature curing, and thus, necessitates careful attention in similar construction environments.

An experimental work is performed to evaluate the retrofit method of damaged flexural walls. For two flexural walls damaged up to almost failure, reinforcements yielded and concrete below height of 1d are replaced with new reinforcements and steel fiber concrete, respectively. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of Aramid sheet for retrofitting walls, Aramid sheet is also, attached to longitudinal direction and rolled horizontal direction of one wall specimen. Horizontal cyclic loads are applied to the top of the specimen with constant axial load. Test result showed that retrofitting with steel fiber concrete after replacing reinforcements can not afford to recover 100% of the wall capacity before damage. However, the capacity of walls could be sufficiently strengthened by using Aramid sheet.

The target of this study is to compare and analyze the strengthening effect of damaged reinforced concrete beams under unloading and loading conditions through the simulation of strengthening condition in real structures. The conclusion of test results are as follows : For the concrete beam wrapped at the side in addition to be strengthened at the bottom, the strength and stiffness increase. although the flexural capacity depends on the strengthening method, it generally shows that the strength improve in the range of 22% to 39% in comparison with the specimen without strengthening. In case of applying th equation suggested by CangaRao & Vijay for the wraped concrete beam, it must be modified because it is likely to overestimate the flexural capacity considering the height of wrapping as the width of concrete. The strength an stiffness of reinforced concrete beams in proportion to the percentage of damage decrease. Damaged beams, which are strengthened by CFS, is structurally efficient and show reduction of strength comparing with the specimen without strengthening but stiffness is increasing.
