<소쇄원30영(소쇄원삼십영(瀟灑園三十詠))>을 통하여 본 소쇄원 외원(外園)의 공간구성 (A Study on Exterior Configuration of Soswaewon in <30 Poems of Soswaewon>)

  • The purposes of this study are to analyze the spatial composition of the outer garden of Soswaewon that appears in Gyeong-Ji Yang's "30 Poems of Soswaewon" and examine its significance and symbols. These poems by Gyeong-Ji Yang are important historical records that portray the appearance of Soswaewon and the space outside it at the end of the 17th century. Unlike "48 Poems of Soswaewon" or "Soswaewondo," these poems arenot limited to Soswaewon and its surroundings; theyalso include areas from the village entrance upwardto the peak of the mountain behind the village. These poems can be divided into three main parts. Jiseok-ri and Changam-dong in poems 1 and 2 provide first impressions of the village in which the main Soswaewon garden is located, whereas poems 3 to 8 and poems 10 to 12 describe the space inside Soswaewon. Poems 13 to 30 depict the beautiful scenery around the outer garden of Soswaewon. In general, about 30% of the compilation in "30 Poems of Soswaewon" celebrates the inner Soswaewon, and the remaining 70% depicts the scenery around Soswaewon (i.e., views of the outer garden). It is presumed that Gyeong-Ji Yang employed this structure to achieve some type of order. Between the "48 Poems of Soswaewon" - also describing Soswaewon - and "Soswaewondo," which is a woodprint drawing of Soswaewon, "30 Poems of Soswaewon" offers the widest coverage of Soswaewon. Compared to "48 Poems of Soswaewon," which addresses the scene inside Soswaewon, new buildings such as the Jaeweoldang, Buhweondang, and Hancheonsa appear in "30 Poems of Soswaewon." Thus, the latter covers a much wider range. Chimgye Munbang - Gwangpunggak, Yangdandongo - Aeyangdang, Byeongseogjuggeun - Jajukchong, etc. are mentioned in both compilations. The use of a wide range of natural objects in these 30 poems, including mountains, birds, and the sky (instead of trees and flowers), shows that the author perceived Soswaewon as an area with a much higher and wider view than that of a typical living space. Moreover, natural regression ideologies, or seclusion ideologies, are evident.

진동대 실험을 통한 발전기기용 콘크리트 앵커의 성능평가 (Seismic Performance Evaluation of Concrete Anchors used in Power Plant Equipment by Shaking Table Tests)

  • 본 연구는 실제 발전소 내 운영 설비의 고정부에 사용되는 앵커에 대하여 지진 발생 시 안전성을 평가하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 이에 따라 운영 설비와 같은 비 구조적 구성 요소의 고정부 앵커에 실제 지진이 발생하였을 경우 발생되는 하중에 대한 응답을 조사하기 위해 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 실제 다양한 형태를 갖는 비구조요소를 연구하는 데는 경제적, 공간적 제약이 있기 때문에 프레임과 질량으로 구성된 대체 시험체를 제작하여 진동대 시험을 수행하였다. 고정부 콘크리트 앵커의 동적 특성과 내진성능을 평가하기 위해 진동대 시험을 통해 대상 구조물의 고유 진동수를 파악한 후 실제 지진과 같은 인공 지진 효과를 발생시켜 실험을 수행하였다. 결론적으로 시험체에 볼트를 이용하여 강철 프레임을 고정시켜 구조적 강성을 확보하였으며, 이에 따라 고정부 앵커에 전달되는 하중이 감소되는 것을 확인하였다. 향후 해석적 접근을 통하여 실험에 대한 신뢰성 검증 및 현장 여건 상 수행되지 못한 부분에 대하여 연구를 수행할 예정이다.

A Substorm Injection Event and the Radiation Belt Structure Observed by Space Radiation Detectors onboard Next Generation Small Satellite-1 (NEXTSat-1)

  • In this paper, we present observations of the Space Radiation Detectors (SRDs) onboard the Next Generation Small Satellite-1 (NEXTSat-1) satellite. The SRDs, which are a part of the Instruments for the study of Stable/Storm-time Space (ISSS), consist of the Medium-Energy Particle Detector (MEPD) and the High-Energy Particle Detector (HEPD). The MEPD can detect electrons, ions, and neutrals with energies ranging from 20 to 400 keV, and the HEPD can detect electrons over an energy range from 0.35 to 2 MeV. In this paper, we report an event where particle flux enhancements due to substorm injections are clearly identified in the MEPD A observations at energies of tens of keV. Additionally, we report a specific example observation of the electron distributions over a wide energy range in which we identify electron spatial distributions with energies of tens to hundreds of keV from the MEPD and with energy ranging up to a few MeV from the HEPD in the slot region and outer radiation belts. In addition, for an ~1.5-year period, we confirm that the HEPD successfully observed the well-known outer radiation belt electron flux distributions and their variations in time and L shell in a way consistent with the geomagnetic disturbance levels. Last, we find that the inner edge of the outer radiation belt is mostly coincident with the plasmapause locations in L, somewhat more consistent at subrelativistic energies than at relativistic energies. Based on these example events, we conclude that the SRD observations are of reliable quality, so they are useful for understanding the dynamics of the inner magnetosphere, including substorms and radiation belt variations.

복합재해 발생 예상 시 지방도로 중심의 재난 레질리언스 평가체계 구축 (Establishment of Evaluation System for Disaster Resilience Focusing on the Local Road under Complex Disaster)

  • 전 세계적으로 레질리언스의 중요성이 부각되고 있음에도 자연재해와 관련된 레질리언스의 단일정의는 명확하지 않은 실정이다. 그 이유는 레질리언스의 정의가 취약성, 복구, 적응력, 지속가능성과 같은 유사한 용어와 어떻게 관련되어 있는지에 대한 상관성에 대한 구체적인 정의가 없기 때문이다. 또한 국가와 지역마다 지형·지질학적 특성이 다르고 태풍과 가뭄, 지진의 재해종류가 다르듯 이에 대한 각각의 측정지표가 다르기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 레질리언스의 정의를 본 연구의 공간적인 특성을 반영하여 '지방도로 또는 인명이나 시설물이 인접해 있는 지방도로에서 발생하는 복합재해(집중호우, 산사태, 토석류)에 대한 복원능력으로 정의하고 이를 도로중심 재난 레질리언스(DRR : Disaster Resilience focusing on the Road)로 구분하였다. 또한 도로중심 재난 레질리언스 인자의 도출을 위해 국내·외 문헌조사를 실시하였고, DRR평가체계 구축을 위한 계층구조 설정 및 AHP설문조사를 실시하였다. AHP설문 분석결과 지방도로 내부에 위치하고 있는 도로재난 직접영향인자(배수시설, 방호시설 등)의 가중치는 0.742로 나타났고, 지방도로 인근에 위치하고 있는 도로재난 간접영향인자(인구, 재산 등)의 가중치는 0.258로 나타나 도로재난 직접영향인자가 간접영향인자보다 상대적으로 높게 분석되었다.

저소득계층 주거 공간 화재안전성 강화를 위한 연구 (A Study on Reinforcement of Fire Safety in Residential Spaces of Low-Income Classes)

  • 연구목적: 저소득계층의 주거공간인 고시원을 중심으로 화재안전성의 향상이라는 부분에 목적을 두었다. 연구방법: 화재 발생 및 피해 과정에서 나타나는 문제점을 다시 한 번 검증하는 한편, 사각지대에 대한 제도적인 논의를 통해 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구결과: 고시원화재의 위험성을 살펴본 결과, 객실 내부에서 발생하는 화재발생 원인은 다양하게 나타날 수 있으나 좁은 객실로 인한 열축적에 의한 복사열 가능성이 높고 의류 및 가재도구 등으로 인해 화재 확산 가능성도 상당하다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 내부에 가급적 많은 인원을 수용하려고 하다 보니 좁은 실내공간의 열악한 내부 구조가 화재 확산 및 피해 규모에 상당한 영향을 미치고 있다는 것이 재확인되었다. 결론: 간이스프링쿨러 미설치된 고시원에 대하여는 조속히 설치가 완료 될 수 있도록 정부 및 자치단체의 더욱 강력한 추진력이 필요한 반면, 고시원의 구조특성상 나타나는 공간적, 구조적 화재취약성에 대하여 어떻게 개선할 것인가에 대한 논의가 필요할 것이다.

행정동별 주거지의 지형적 특성과 토지이용·교통특성이 고령자의 평균통행거리에 미치는 영향 분석 - 부산광역시를 대상으로 - (A Study on Impact of Topographic Characteristics and Land use and Transport Characteristics of Residential Area On the Average Trip Distance of the Senior Citizens: for Busan Metropolitan City)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 부산광역시 행정동별 주거지의 지형적 특성과 토지이용·교통 특성이 고령자 평균통행거리에 미치는 영향을 실증분석함에 있다. 이를 위해 다중회귀분석을 수행하였고, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 도출한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주거지의 평균고도와 고도표준편차는 고령자 평균통행거리에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 도시교통정책 수립 시 지형적 특성이 고려되어야 한다. 둘째, 지하철접근성과 버스정류장 밀도는 각각 양(+)과 음(-)의 영향력이 나타났다. 이는 행정동별 공간구조와 대중교통 수단 접근 과정으로부터 기인한 것이므로 이를 고려한 이동편의성 증진 정책이 시행되어야 한다. 셋째, 고령자의 교통 및 주거환경 개선정책은 행정동 별로 상이한 인구사회적 특성을 고려해야 하며, 고령자의 이동성 향상을 위한 도시교통정책은 상대적으로 교통접근성이 낮고 1인 고령인구가 밀집되어 있는 행정동에서 우선적으로 시행되어야 한다.

두꺼비 서식지 적합성 지수(HSI) 모델개발을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Development of "Bufo gargarizans" Habitat Suitability Index(HSI))

  • This study investigates the characteristics and physical habitat requirements for each Bufo gargarizans life history through a literature survey. After deriving variables for each component of Bufo gargarizans, in order to reduce regional deviations from eight previously studied literature research areas for deriving the criteria for variables, a total of 12 natural habitats of Bufo gargarizanss are selected as spatial ranges by selecting four additional sites such as Umyeonsan Ecological Park in Seoul, Wonheungibangjuk in Cheongju in the central region, Changnyeong Isan Reservoir in the southern region, and Mangwonji in Daegu. This study presents Bufo gargarizans SI, a species endemic to Korea, whose population is rapidly declining due to large-scale housing site development and road development, and develops a Bufo gargarizans HSI model accordingly to improve the function of the damaged Bufo gargarizans habitat and to present an objective basis for site selection of alternative habitat. At the same time, it provides basic data for adaptive management and follow-up monitoring. The three basic habitat requirements of amphibians, the physical habitat requirements of Bufo gargarizans, synthesized with shelter, food, and water, and the characteristics of each life history, are classified into five components by adding space and threats through literature research and expert advice. Variables are proposed by synthesizing and comparing the general characteristics of amphibians, among the previously studied single species of amphibians, the components of HSI of goldfrogs and Bufo gargarizans, and the ecological and physical environmental characteristics of Bufo gargarizans. Afterwards, through consultation with an amphibian expert, a total of 10 variables are finally presented by adjacent forest area(ha), the distance between spawning area and the nearest forest land(m), the soil, the distance from the wetland(m), the forest layered structure, the low grassland space, the permanent wetland area(ha), shoreline slope(%), PH, presence of predators, distance from road(m), presence or absence of obstacles. n order to derive the final criteria for each of the 10 variables, the criteria(alternative) for each variable are presented through geographic information analysis of the site survey area and field surveys of the previously studied literature research area. After a focus group interview(FGI) of 30 people related to the Bufo gargarizans colony in Cheongju, a questionnaire and in-depth interviews with three amphibians experts are conducted to verify and supplement the criteria for each final variable. Based on the finally developed Bufo gargarizans HSI, the Bufo gargarizans habitat model is presented through the SI graph model and the drawing centering on the Bufo gargarizans spawning area

A FUNDAMENTAL STUDY TO DEVELOP STANDARD TECHNOLOGY CRITERIA FOR IT-CONSTRUCTION FUSION TECHNOLOGIES, TO BE APPLIED TO A U-CITY

  • As the demand for a convergence between construction technologies and IT is on the rise, as seen in the visualization of U-City construction, studies on the ways in which IT in should be utilized in the building and construction field have been continuously and actively performed. However, there has been almost no development of standardized technology criteria relating to the life cycle of a building (planning, design, construction, and maintenance). That is, there are almost no examples of efforts made to combine construction technology and IT in a fundamental way, considering the environment, the facility, its spatial characteristics, engineering, materials, and structure, aspects that are commonly required not only for interior spaces but also for exterior construction of U-City. Despite the fact that a state-of-the-art infrastructure has been built, and the competency of users with the cutting-edge technology, composite studies on technologies, facilities, services and spaces are still lacking, and basic research on the composite operation method including compatibility and linkage between facilities and services within a U-City has been insufficient as well. It is generally known that by fusing IT with construction technologies, the total period of construction taken can be reduced and construction expenses can be curtailed, while construction quality can be improved. For this reason, it is vital to prepare a standardized base to connect cutting-edge IT with the construction technologies. In preparing such a base, the most urgent issue is to develop standardized technology criteria. The ultimate objective of this research is to establish the technological criteria system required to apply construction-IT fused technologies to U-Cities, and to develop the technological criteria for the design, construction and maintenance of the U-Cities. This paper, whose objective is to establish development strategies for construction-IT fused technologies by way of analyzing the criteria for conventional construction projects, the necessity of criteria for construction-IT fused technologies, and the current status of U-Cities' development, is the underlying research for this purpose. The strategies established are expected to be utilized in establishing the system of criteria for construction-IT fused technologies, and to contribute to a knowledge base in the construction-IT field. In addition, based on the strategies established, criteria for construction-IT fused technologies, such as design criteria and construction standards, will be developed, and by applying these criteria and standards, the ultimate objectives of U-Cities, which are the enhancement of urban competitiveness and the satisfaction of residents, will be attained

사후전산화단층촬영의 법의병리학 분야 활용을 위한 조건부 적대적 생성 신경망을 이용한 CT 영상의 해상도 개선: 팬텀 연구 (Enhancing CT Image Quality Using Conditional Generative Adversarial Networks for Applying Post-mortem Computed Tomography in Forensic Pathology: A Phantom Study)

  • Post-mortem computed tomography (PMCT) is commonly employed in the field of forensic pathology. PMCT was mainly performed using a whole-body scan with a wide field of view (FOV), which lead to a decrease in spatial resolution due to the increased pixel size. This study aims to evaluate the potential for developing a super-resolution model based on conditional generative adversarial networks (CGAN) to enhance the image quality of CT. 1761 low-resolution images were obtained using a whole-body scan with a wide FOV of the head phantom, and 341 high-resolution images were obtained using the appropriate FOV for the head phantom. Of the 150 paired images in the total dataset, which were divided into training set (96 paired images) and validation set (54 paired images). Data augmentation was perform to improve the effectiveness of training by implementing rotations and flips. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, we used the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) and Deep Image Structure and Texture Similarity (DISTS). Obtained the PSNR, SSIM, and DISTS values of the entire image and the Medial orbital wall, the zygomatic arch, and the temporal bone, where fractures often occur during head trauma. The proposed method demonstrated improvements in values of PSNR by 13.14%, SSIM by 13.10% and DISTS by 45.45% when compared to low-resolution images. The image quality of the three areas where fractures commonly occur during head trauma has also improved compared to low-resolution images.

구조형상 공간상관을 고려한 인공지능 기반 변위 추정 (Estimation of Displacements Using Artificial Intelligence Considering Spatial Correlation of Structural Shape)

  • 본 논문에서는 구조물의 부분 변위값으로 전체 구조물의 변위 형상을 예측할 수 있는 인공지능 학습기법을 개발하였으며, 개발된 기술의 성능을 실험을 통해 평가하였다. 3차원 공간에서 변위 형상 및 노드 위치 좌표의 특성을 학습에 반영할 수 있는 Image-to-Image 변위 형상 학습과 위치 특징을 결합한 변위 상관 학습 방법을 제시하였다. 개발된 인공지능 학습방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 목업 구조 실험을 진행하였고, 3D 스캔으로 측정한 변위값과 인공지능으로 예측한 결과를 비교하였다. 비교 결과 인공지능 예측 결과는 3D 스캔 측정 결과에 비해 5.6~5.9%의 오차율을 보여 적정 성능을 보였다.
