The purpose of this study is to show how to gain the morphology of the Hybrid Spatial Structures and to get the geometrical data such as node coordinates, member relationships and graphic images. To form spatial structures, we have developed morphological aspects of general spatial structures, programming process and techniques. Structural design has many processes. Especially, it is very important to consider the determination of structural configuration. Regular Hybrid Spatial Structures have complex configuration, so we need to make use of automated computer process to determine structural shape in Hybrid Spatial Structures. We have applied morphological aspects to double layer plate, single layer dome, double layer dome and tensegrity structure.

In this study, I have summarized the geographical location conditions according to geographical position where communities locate and I have classified the spatial composition factors into size factor and the line factor. This was accomplished through field research and comparison and analysis of pertinent literature. Then, I have discussed the geographical location conditions and the characteristics of the spatial composition of a particular community. Finally, I have pointed out that the similarities and dissimilarities of the spatial composition factors of a certain community with locational aspects, geographical aspects, and occupational aspects, can be considered.

The purpose of this study is to set a relationship between intentional system and spatial orientation, and with space model in the human world to orient yourself is to present the basic spatial concepts. This is composed of parts of intentional system and spatial orientation on the research. Through the study of intentional system which is based on the orientation with Daniel Dennett's, it suggests the space-model that composed with aspects of intentionality and spatial elements. With space-model and judgement of spatial types, it makes relationship confirm between them. Through this process, following the results of this study were derived. First, intentional stance of space is the key for building knowledge and memories about space, and for identifying external environment images which are experienced in the senses of human. Second, changing the meaning from space to place makes horizons of space broader and creates a new sense of space with put the intentional orientation into the space. Third, this study can make confirm what the aspect of the space-schema-elements for orientation in space, serves as the presentation elements. This study leaps an old-view of the architectural customs about spatial orientation, and creates an opportunity to refine the newer concept of space. This concept of space is a basic essential for 'site-selection' and 'spot-catching' as an intentional system for spatial orientation and to establish a relationship with human beings in the world of his own orientation to the concept of space.

A simulated realistic virtual environment is inhabited by autonomous cyber-humans who play the roles of agents in events. A key element, which enables this realism, is the historical context formed by time and space. A knowledge-representation scheme, composed of both spatial and temporal aspects needed by the agent to respond to dynamically changing situations, is essential for the design of a realistic virtual agent. In this work, spatial and temporal aspects of dynamic situations in the virtual environment have been formalized as a key component of our knowledge-representation scheme. This scheme provides a mathematical framework to construct realistic virtual situations that change with time, and background knowledge for agents in the simulated environment to deduce new pieces of information and plan against changing situations.

This study focuses on Gilbert Simondon's individuation theory, a core concept of his technological philosophy, and spatial modality in interactive space as the schema of interactive operation. The study examines spatial modality as the technology of an interaction-enabler that has archi-semiotic characteristics in the designed space by aspects of examples. They are based on ideas and properties of a combined environment and the concept of information, which form Simondon's individuation theory. In the process of technological individuation, spatial modality has the characteristics of archi-semiotics from a combined environment and information. The first of the three properties is representation through semiosis and the information surface. Second is the context by relation works and perception, and third are the symbolic aspects, which could create Placeness by meaning. Combining meaningful constructive and deconstructive spaces could result in space for interactive communication. Spatial modality makes it possible to interact with users and spaces. In fact, it could have a particular semiotic mode of address and become a semiotic and contextual base. As a basic investigation of spatial modality, this study will contribute to interactive space design research.

The drastic change of spatial structure in rural area and the recent rural development policies(related to settlement reorganization and plot rearrangement) make the rural space planning more important than ever. So this paper tries to evaluate the institutional aspects of rural spatial planning system focused on planning area. land use classification and hierachical order between existing plans. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the rural planning areas are classified into 4-tiers(e.g., Gun, Myon, District, Village). Second, the rural land use planning has 3-tiers(e.g., macro, mediate and micro zoning) from the viewpoint of land use classification system, but it doesn't have mediate-micro zoning system. Third, the spatial plans in rural area, positioned in local planning, were categorized into regional planning system and land use planning system. However there's no linkage between both sides of each hierachial planning order.

본 연구의 목적은 GIS기술을 이용하여 적조의 시공간적인 분포를 분석하는 것이다. 적조에 의해 발생하는 피해는 적조 생물종에 따라 다양하게 나타난다 때문에 적조의 피해를 저감하기 위해서는 시-공간적인 적조 생물종의 분포특성을 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 관점에서 우리는 최초의 적조발생지역, 공간적 발생빈도, 적조의 이동 등을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 공간자료는 적조 속보 보고에 의해 공간분포를 디지타이징하였고, 적조데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해 적조 생물종, 생물 밀도, 수온 등의 다양한 속성자료를 구성하였다. 적조의 시-공간적 분포 특성을 분석하기 위해 다양한 공간분석기법을 적용하였다. 이러한 공간분석 결과로부터 남해에서의 시-공간 적이 적조 공간 정보를 얻을 수 있었다.

최근 들어 본격적으로 스마트 사회가 시작되고 유비쿼터스 시대로 진입하는 등 정보통신기술의 급격한 변화에 따른 새로운 패러다임의 도래는 지역의 도시행정공간정보화 측면에서 주목할 만한 전환점이 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 미래예측방법으로 많이 활용되고 있는 시나리오 플래닝 방법론을 적용하여 부산지역의 선도적인 글로벌 스마트 도시를 꿈꾸고 있는 부산 센텀시티의 도시정보화에 대한 바람직한 미래상을 도출하였다. 곧 더욱 진화될 스마트 사회와 유비쿼터스 시대에 합당한 부산 센텀시티의 상대적 미래우위전략을 찾고자, 메터데이터로서 행정공간정보화된 정보의 활용 측면을 제안하였으며, 부산 센텀시티의 성공적인 지역정보화 전략을 도출하였다. 결국 2030년 무렵에도 여전히 부산 센텀시티가 선도적인 정보화 스마트도시로 남기위해서는 현재의 도시정책 뿐만 아니라 앞으로도 지속적으로 행정공간정보화된 정보를 메타데이터로서 도시정보시스템에 제공하여 대민서비스의 만족도를 높이는 것이 중요하다.

We are concerned with developing a robust method for comprehensive scene analysis. In particular, we address the problem of representing spatial relations between regions in a segmented 2D image. Spatial relations are modeled as fuzzy sets. The method has two aspects, symbolic and quantitative, consisting of assigning labels for spatial relations and numeric degrees to which a relation holds respectively. The procedure of deriving a spatial relation is hierarchical taking into account geometric/physical characteristics of the regions in question.
