CNC 공작기계의 3차원 직선 및 원호 보간 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (3D Linear and Circular Interpolation Algorithm for CNC Machines)

  • 3D linear and circular interpolations are a basic part for the machining of complex shapes. Until now, because of the absence of appropriate algorithms for the generation of 3D lines and circles, a full accomplishment for available machine tool resolution is difficult. this paper presents new algorithms for 3D linear and circular interpolation in the reference pulse technique. In 3D space, the line or circle is not expressed as an implicit function, it is only defined as the intersection of two surfaces. A 3D line is defined as the intersection of two planes, and a 3D circle is defined as the intersection of a plane and the surface of a sphere. Based on these concepts, interpolation algorithms are designed to follow intersection curves in 3D space, and a real-time 3D linear and circular interpolator was developed in software using a PC. The algorithm implemented in a PC showed promising results in interpolation error and speed performance. It is expected that it can be applied to the next generation computerized numerical control systems for the machining of 3D lines, circles and some other complex shapes.

DIND Data Fusion with Covariance Intersection in Intelligent Space with Networked Sensors

  • Latest advances in network sensor technology and state of the art of mobile robot, and artificial intelligence research can be employed to develop autonomous and distributed monitoring systems. In this study, as the preliminary step for developing a multi-purpose "Intelligent Space" platform to implement advanced technologies easily to realize smart services to human. We will give an explanation for the ISpace system architecture designed and implemented in this study and a short review of existing techniques, since there exist several recent thorough books and review paper on this paper. Instead we will focus on the main results with relevance to the DIND data fusion with CI of Intelligent Space. We will conclude by discussing some possible future extensions of ISpace. It is first dealt with the general principle of the navigation and guidance architecture, then the detailed functions tracking multiple objects, human detection and motion assessment, with the results from the simulations run.

대심도 복층터널 교차로 화재연기 확산지연 방안 연구 (A study on the fire smoke diffusion delay strategy in a great depth underground double deck tunnel junction)

  • 최근 도심지 차량 정체 해소와 주변환경을 개선하기 위하여 도심지 지하공간을 활용하는 대심도 복층터널 설계 및 시공 기술개발 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 네트워크형 복층터널은 단면이 작고, 평지 하부에 시공됨에 따라 입 출구의 경사가 가파른 특징이 있는 교차로 형태를 가지며 화재발생시 화재연기가 매우 빠르게 전파되어 인명피해 발생이 우려된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교차로에 화재연기 확산지연장치를 설치한 경우와 미설치된 경우에 대하여 화재연기 확산지연효과를 분석하였다. 화재연기 확산지연장치를 교차로에 설치하였을 시 화재발생 후 270초까지 화재연기가 지연되었으며, 화재연기 확산지연장치의 차단면적이 커질수록 인명피해 예방에 도움이 될 것으로 분석되었다.

신호교차로 대기행렬 예측을 위한 인공신경망의 학습자료 구성분석 (Training Sample of Artificial Neural Networks for Predicting Signalized Intersection Queue Length)

  • 본 연구에서는 도시부도로 신호교차로의 대기행렬을 단기(one cycle ahead)예측함에 있어 단일검지체계에 기반을 둔 한 지점의 시계열적 패턴을 갖는 검지자료(detection data)를 학습자료로 구성할 경우와 통합차량검지체계하에 기반을 둔 시공간적 상관관계를 갖는 검지자료를 학습자료로 이용할 경우를 가정하여 이에 대한 인공신경망의 학습능력과 예측능력을 비교하였다. 연구결과는 도시부도로 신호교차로상에서 차량군(platoon)의 이동에 따라 발생되는 시공간적인 상관관계를 갖는 교통류변수 $\ulcorner$상류유입교통량(k-1)->통행시간(k-1)->대기행렬(k)->유출교통량(k)->대기행렬(k+1)$\lrcorner$를 인공신경망의 학습자료로 구성할 경우, 교통류 패턴의 학습능력이 뛰어난 것으로 밝혀졌다.

사람의 움직임 추적을 위한 다중 카메라 기반의 지면 위 발의 대응 (Multiple Camera-Based Correspondence of Ground Foot for Human Motion Tracking)

  • In this paper, we describe correspondence among multiple images taken by multiple cameras. The correspondence among multiple views is an interesting problem which often appears in the application like visual surveillance or gesture recognition system. We use the principal axis and the ground plane homography to estimate foot of human. The principal axis belongs to the subtracted silhouette-based region of human using subtraction of the predetermined multiple background models with current image which includes moving person. For the calculation of the ground plane homography, we use landmarks on the ground plane in 3D space. Thus the ground plane homography means the relation of two common points in different views. In the normal human being, the foot of human has an exactly same position in the 3D space and we represent it to the intersection in this paper. The intersection occurs when the principal axis in an image crosses to the transformed ground plane from other image. However the positions of the intersection are different depend on camera views. Therefore we construct the correspondence that means the relationship between the intersection in current image and the transformed intersection from other image by homography. Those correspondences should confirm within a short distance measuring in the top viewed plane. Thus, we track a person by these corresponding points on the ground plane. Experimental result shows the accuracy of the proposed algorithm has almost 90% of detecting person for tracking based on correspondence of intersections.

  • Digital surface model generation from IKONOS stereo imagery is a new challenge in photogrammetric community, especially when the satellite company does not provide the raw data as well as their ancillary ephemeris data. In this paper we utilized an estimated relief displacement azimuth and the nominal collection elevation data included in the metadata file to correct the relief displacement of GCPs, together with a linear transformation for geometric modeling of IKONOS imagery. Space intersection is performed by the trigonometric intersection assuming a parallel projection of IKONOS imagery due to its small FOV and frame size. In the experiment, less than 2-meters of RMSE in orbit modeling is achieved denoting the potential positioning accuracy of the IKONOS stereo imagery.

CUDA 를 이용한 가상 객체들간의 병렬 충돌 검사 알고리즘 (Parallel Intersection Detection Algorithm using CUDA)

  • CUDA 는 GPGPU 프로그래밍을 위해 nVIDIA 사에서 개발한 병렬 처리 프로그래밍 개발환경이다. 본 논문에서는 가상 객체들 간의 삼각형 충돌 검사 부분을 CUDA 를 이용해 병렬적으로 구현하였다. 삼각형 충돌 검사는 실시간 충돌 검사 시 주요 병목현상을 일으키는 부분이다. 하지만 CPU 와 GPU 간의 데이터 전송 지연 문제 때문에 기존의 오브젝트 스페이스상의 GPU 기반의 충돌 검사 방법으로는 이 병목현상을 해결하기 어려웠다. 그러나 데이터 전송 지연 문제를 크게 완화시킨 CUDA 를 이용해 데이터 전송에 소모되는 비용을 줄이고 또한 삼각형 충돌 검사를 병렬적으로 수행함으로써 가상 객체를 형성하는 삼각형 집합들의 충돌검사 알고리즘의 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있었다.

GENERALIZED MINIMAX THEOREMS IN GENERALIZED CONVEX SPACES

  • In this work, we obtain intersection theorem, analytic alternative and von Neumann type minimax theorem in G-convex spaces. We also generalize Ky Fan minimax inequality to acyclic versions in G-convex spaces. The result is applied to formulate acyclic versions of other minimax results, a theorem of systems of inequalities and analytic alternative.
