스마트 그리드 환경에서 (x, y) 좌표값을 이용한 효율적인 주소 할당 방법 (An Efficient Addressing Scheme Using (x, y) Coordinates in Environments of Smart Grid)

  • 스마트그리드는 기존의 전력망과 정보통신 기술을 융합하여 에너지 효율을 최적화할 수 있는 차세대 지능형 전력망이다. 현재까지 표준화 및 호환성에 대한 해결책이 진행 중인 가운데 스마트그리드 사업은 소비자에게는 전력요금의 실시간 확인을 통해 능동적인 전력소비를 유도하고, 공급자에게는 예상 발전량 측정을 통해 보다 안정적인 전력 시스템을 운용하도록 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 활발하게 스마트 산업이 발전함에 따라 AMI 시스템의 원격제어 시스템을 구현하기 위해서 무선 통신이 많이 고려되고 있으며 ZigBee 센서를 이용한 무선 통신을 다양한 분야에 적용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트그리드 환경에서 적용되고 있는 ZigBee 무선 통신 환경의 주소 지정 방식과 라우팅 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 좌표 값 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존 알고리즘을 이용한 분산 주소 할당 기법의 낭비되는 주소공간의 문제를 해결하기 위해 (x, y) 2개의 좌표축을 제안하여 16bit 주소공간을 분할하여 사용한다. 각 노드에서 라우팅 시 좌표 값을 이용하여 적은 비트별 연산이 수행되며 멀티 홉을 감소시킬 수 있다. 이에 대한 성능 분석으로 제안한 알고리즘은 수학적 분석 모델을 사용하였고 ZigBee 무선 통신 환경의 계층적 라우팅에서 사용하는 경로 벡터를 사용하여 센서 노드의 멀티 홉 카운트 결과를 도출하였다. 수학적 분석결과 ZigBee 분산 주소 할당 기법과 기존 알고리즘에 비해 평균 멀티 홉의 수가 감소함으로써 에너지 효율이 향상됨을 입증하였다.

  • As digital photogrammetry can acquire much three-dimensional data quickly and exactly in equal accuracy, and it has advantage that can use this in modelling, it's practical use possibility is increased in various field by collection method of data for GIS. In this study, it was intended to create 3D image that has coordinate system, and use in acquisition of position information for object. And, it was applied to discontinuities extraction and measurement of rock slope for practical use of three-dimensional image and examination of measurement accuracy. Through this, it is inspected the possibility of three-dimensional image creation and the acquisition of space information.

기초 3D 그래픽 교과에 대한 플립드 러닝 적용 효과 분석 (The Effect of Flipped Learning on the 3D Computer Graphics Class)

  • The teaching method of colleges and universities is traditionally lectures then professors has described orally in class and students has listened to accompanying with papers, mid-terms, and final exams. Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams have developed new way of teaching called flipped learning; Classwork at home and homework in class. By adapting the method, this paper researched how efficient it is and what factors tutors should consider for better results. Specifically this research examined the flipped learning applying to basic 3D graphics class of J University in Korea and students answered surveys and took a couple of tests. Since the most students of the class did not have any background of 3D graphics, it was the first time for them to work with 3 dimensional space coordinate system. As a result, the research showed positive side of flipped learning like increasing peers' interest to the class and positive attitude about video lectures watched before coming to class.

  • New direct and indirect current control methods for a fault-tolerant active power filter topology are presented in this paper. Since a three-phase four-switch topology has a phase bridge current which cannot be directly controlled, a hysteresis control method in the α-β plane which controls the three-phase current in the two-phase stationary coordinate system is proposed. The improved SVPWM algorithm is able to eliminate the operation of the trigonometric functions in the traditional algorithm by rotating the α-β coordinates and alternating the sequence of the output vectors, which in turn simplifies the algorithm and reduces the switching frequency. The selection of the DC-side reference voltage and DC-side capacitor equalization strategy are also discussed. Simulation and experiments demonstrate that the proposed control method is correct and feasible.

Parametric Instability Boundaries for Spatial Subharmonics in Photorefractive Moving Gratings: Theory and Experiments

  • We have derived a nonlinear spatiotemporal differential equation for space-charge fields from Kukhtarev’s material equations in a moving coordinate system and obtained the spatial subharmonic instability boundaries by using linear stability analysis. It is also found that there is an analogy between the temporal subharmonic and the spatial subharmonc instabilities in the sense that the governing differential equations describing the instability boundaries are formally identical. The experiments for generating spatial subharmonic waves are performed in a photorefractive $Bi_{12}SiO_{20}$ crystal by using conventional moving grating technique. The threshold detunings are experimentally determined and the results are compared with the theory.

고속 궤도차량의 동역학적 모델링 및 해석 (Dynamic Modeling and Analysis of a High Mobility Tracked Vehicle)

  • This paper presents a dynamic model of a high mobility tracked vehicle composed of rigid bodies. Track is modeled as an extensible cable and the track tension between the sprocket and roller is calculated by the catenary equation. The ground force acting on a road wheel is calculated by the Bekker's pressure-sinkage relationship using the segmented wheel model. System equations of motion and constraint acceleration equations are derived in the joint coordinate space using the velocity transformation method.

  • This paper deals with extraction of design parameters of Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) based on force calculation using space harmonic analysis, 2D Finite Element Method (FEM) and experimental measurement. First, analytical solutions for flux density due to mover winding currents are derived in terms of magnetic vector potential and a 2D rectangular coordinate system, for the case when the mover is located at aligned and unaligned position. The analytical results are compared with those obtained from a 2D FEM Second, using Fourier series expansion, this paper predicts the force profile of LSRM analytically.

공간고조파법을 이용한 축 자속 영구자석 회전기기의 준(準)-3D 특성 해석 (Quasi-3D analysis of Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Rotating Machines using Space Harmonic Methods)

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) machines with axially magnetized PM rotor using quasi-3-D analysis modeling. On the basis of magnetic vector potential and a two-dimensional (2-D) polar-coordinate system, the magnetic field solutions due to various PM rotors are obtained. In particular, 3-D problem, that is, the reduction of magnetic fields near outer and inner radius of the PM is solved by introducing a special function for radial position. And then, the analytical solutions for back-emf and torque are also derived from magnetic field solutions. The predictions are shown in good agreement with those obtained from 3-D finite element analyses (FEA). Finally, it can be judged that analytical solutions for electromagnetic quantities presented in this paper are very useful for the AFPM machines in terms of following items : initial design, sensitivity analysis with design parameters, and estimation of control parameters.

  • We utilize as a processor TMS320C25 (Texas Instrument) in making a driver for a 4 pole PM synchronous servo motor. TMS320C25 has a 32bit ALU and a 16 bit hardware multiplier, and the maximum instruction execution rate is 10MIPS at 40MHz. We adopted a space vector modulation PWM method. An interesting point of this work is that PWM wave is generated by utilizing timer interrupts. Hence, in the rest of time the processor can take care of the other routine such as Park's coordinate transformation and the computation required in the feedback loops. Thus, it mates the hardware circuit very simple. Due to the decrease in the number of components, the motor drive system becomes more fault-tolerant and cost-optimized. Also, more flexibility is gained in changing the control parameters.

  • In this paper, a computer software for dynamic analysis of a high mobility tracked vehicle with pre/post processor is developed. Model of a tracked vehicle is composed of chassis, turret, mount, gun, and road-wheel assembly. Track is modeled as an extensible cable and the track tensions are applied on the wheels as external forces. The system equations of motion and constraint acceleration equations are derived in the joint coordinate space using the velocity transformation method. The pre and post processors are developed using the Visual C++.
