건설공사장 가설방음벽의 음향 특성 (Acoustic Properties of Temporary Noise Barriers on Construction Site)

  • The noise by the construction activities is one of the main issues in Korea. To prevent the noise from construction site, construction company installs temporary noise barriers along the construction site boundary. Normally sound insulation performance ($R_w$) of the temporary noise barriers made by metal or plastic is between 18 and 31 dB and metallic noise barriers are around 5 dB higher than plastic noise barriers. Sound absorption performance (NRC) of the temporary noise barriers are between 0.20 and 0.59 so it's difficult to characterize their acoustic performance. In this study, it has founded that sound insulation performance of the temporary noise barrier has been improved about 3dB by stick the high density acoustic sheet and insertion loss of noise barrier is getting increased as the source and receiver approached the temporary noise barriers.

공동주택의 층별 도로교통 소음의 전달 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Floor-Specific Characteristics of Road Traffic Noise in Apartment Buildings)

  • This study is an attempt to understand the floor-specific characteristics of facade road traffic noise in apartment buildings. For this purpose, it sampled a total of seven roadside apartment building complexes: three with no soundproof bar barrier installed at roadside, one with a forest buffer zone, one with a sound-absorbing hill, and two with soundproof barriers. The measured noise level was highest on the 5th floor of apartment buildings with no soundproof barrier, and the upper stories from the 5th floor showed lower-noise measurements in order. For apartment buildings with soundproof barriers, however, the noise level was lower on the 10th floor than the 5th floor. Two apartment building groups--one with a sound-absorbing hill and the other with no soundproof barrier--showed similar measurement results in the floor-specific characteristics of facade road traffic noise. This suggests that such installations have little sound insulation effect. In the apartment building complex with a forest buffer zone around it, a slight sound insulation effect was measured on the lower floors of the buildings.

철도 방음벽의 전면 타공과 흡음재에 의한 흡음성능 고찰 (Investigation of Sound Absorbing Characteristics of the Railway Noise Barrier by Changing the Configuration of the Front Perforated Panel and Absorbing Material)

  • This study focused on the identification of sound characteristics according to the configuration of sound absorption material and perforated panel dimensions. Noise barriers consist of front perforated panel, sound absorption material and back plate. Noise barriers' acoustic performance should be required to meet the NRC of 0.7. The absorbing performance of the noise barrier relies on the opening ratio of perforated panel and the efficiency of the absorbing material. This study try to find out the possibilities of applications to railway usage.

  • The noise reducing devices installed on the noise barrier have been developed in many shapes and ways to reduce noise around road traffic areas. In this study, test and estimation method for the noise reducing device witch installed on the top of a noise barrier was suggested. For this, the authors have considered sound power flow around the device and sound pressure levels for the far field area. To estimate the area effect behind the barrier, area average of noise pressure level difference divided by two area, upper and bellow the sight-line. Comparing the attenuation difference of these areas, the tendency of noise reduction effect was studied according to type of noise reducing devices. Compared with noise shielding efficiency of the devices that using equivalent height of a simple barrier calculated by the SoundPlan, the commercial environment noise simulation software.

주기적 구조를 갖는 굴절형 방음판의 흡음성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sound Absorption of Periodically Folded Barriers)

  • This study is aimed to numerically evaluate a sound absorption performance of periodically folded barriers. Based on the formulation for sound absorption of a locally reacting surface in a periodic arrangement, variations of the sound absorption with parameters such as the folded width and depth are investigated. In comparison with the sound absorption of a conventional barrier with a flat surface, it is found that the periodically folded barriers can achieve a higher sound absorption especially in the low frequency range.

Manufacturing Characteristics of Cement-Bonded Wood Composite Board as Sound Absorption Type-Noise Barrier

  • This study was conducted to investigate the performance of sound absorption type-noise barriers manufactured with a combination of wood particles used for particleboard, recycled waste newspaper, and cement. An average density of wood-combined cement board was in the range from 0.83 to 0.96 g/cm3, showing relatively low-density board. Regardless of types of cement bonded board or wooden board, the board with concave holes(凹)-formed surfaces showed greater sound absorption coefficient compared to those of flat surface boards. The board density was not related with those coefficients. Accordingly, it was concluded that concave or deep corrugated surface structure has played an important role in sound absorption for the application of sound absorption type-noise barrier.

방음판의 흡음률 측정방법 제안을 위한 기초 연구 (A preliminary study on the measurement method for determining the absorption coefficient of sound barrier panels)

  • 방음벽은 도시 주거환경의 소음문제에 대응하기 위한 가장 기본적인 방법이다. 방음판의 가장 중요한 음향적 기능은 음향투과손실과 흡음률로 표시된다. 특히 주거시설이 밀집되어있는 도심구간의 철도나 간선도로에서 원하지 않는 반사음에 의한 2차 소음 문제를 최소화하기 위하여는 방음판의 흡음성능이 중요하다. 그러나 아직까지 우리나라는 방음판의 흡음률 측정방법에 관한 규격이 마련되어있지 않다. 또한 방음판의 전반적인 음향규격이 이미 만들어져 있는 유럽규격에서조차 흡음률에 관해서는 일반적인 건축마감재료의 흡음률 측정기준을 준용하고 있을 뿐, 방음벽과 방음판의 특성을 감안한 별도의 측정방법을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 흡음률은 재료의 내부로 흡수된 에너지 뿐 아니라 재료를 투과한 에너지까지 합산하여 평가되어야 하는데 현재의 유럽규격은 투과음 에너지를 감안하지 못하고 있는 문제를 안고 있다. 이 논문에서는 현재 제시되고 있는 방음판의 흡음률 측정 규격에 대해 고찰하고, 우리나라에서 실제 사용되고 있는 방음판을 대상으로 투과음을 감안한 새로운 측정방법과의 결과 차이를 검증하였다. 아울러 새로운 방음판 흡음률 측정규격의 마련을 위한 기초적 아이디어를 제시하였다.

축소모형을 이용한 방음터널의 자연채광 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Daylighting Performance in the Sound Barrier Tunnel)

  • This study aims to evaluate the natural lighting performance in the sound barrier tunnel. Therefore, to evaluate the daylighting performance, the combinations of 3 tunnel roof types which are flat-roof-type(type A), slope-roof-type(type B), arch-roof-type(type C) and 3 window types which are side-window-type(type 1), one-window-roof type(type 2), two-window-roof type(type 3) are evaluated by experimenting small scaled models. In this 9 cases of experiment, illuminance levels of each case are analyzed and evaluated. The conclusion of this study is that slope-roof-type(B) and arch-roof-type(C) is preferable to flat-roof-type(A) and one-window-roof-type(B) and two-window-roof-type(C) is preferable to side-window-type(A) for daylighting in the sound barrier tunnel.

모형실험을 통한 식생형 방음벽의 소음저감 효과 분석 (An analyses of the noise reduction effect of vegetation noise barrier using scaled model experiments)

  • 공동주택단지 및 학교 및 근린시설의 경계방음벽으로 제시한 식생형 방음벽을 설계하고 소음감쇠성능실험을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 식생형 방음벽은 일정한 형태의 유닛을 방음벽 형태의 구조물에 걸이식으로 적층하여 구성된 것으로서, 유닛내부에는 식재 및 토양을 포함하고 있다. 이 방음벽의 음향적인 장점은 토양 및 식재를 이용한 흡음뿐만 아니라 확산형상의 방음벽에서 표면 확산으로 인해 음에너지가 분산되어 소음을 저감할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 먼저 1/10 축소모형 실험을 통해 소음감쇠성능에 가장 적합한 방음벽 유닛의 크기를 조사하였으며, 설계된 도면에 따라 1/2축척의 식생형 방음벽을 실제높이 2 m, 길이 5 m로 제작하여 소음감쇠실험을 진행하였다. 식물을 담을 수 있는 총 1,137개의 식생블록은 약 $10{\times}10{\times}9cm$ 크기로 합성목재를 활용해 제작하였으며 이 블록들을 방음벽에 설치하여 자립형 구조를 가진 식생형 방음벽을 완성하였다. 연구결과, 평면형 방음벽보다 블록식 방음벽이 약 7 dB 더 높은 삽입손실을 나타냈으며, 식생블록의 크기는 삽입손실효과가 큰 $20{\times}20cm$의 크기가 적정한 것으로 나타났다.

  • In order to improve the acoustic performance of a noise barrier without increasing its height, various type of acoustic devices are suggested but, there is no proper method to estimate the performance in Korea. For this, an outdoor test facility was established in Expressway and Transportation Technology Institute(ETTI) of Korea Expressway Corporation for testing the acoustical performance of noise reducing devices installed on the top of a noise barrier. Noise measurements before and after installation of the noise reducing devices were carried out by using sound pressure level for long distance range from the barrier, from 10m to 40m. For considering the directivity effects of noise reducing devices, multivariate regression analysis was attempted.
