A Study on Gamepad/Gaze based Input Processing for Mobile Platform Virtual Reality Contents (모바일 플랫폼 가상현실 콘텐츠에 적합한 게임패드/시선 기반 입력 처리 기술에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes suitable input processing technique for producing the mobile platform based virtual reality contents. First of all, we produce the mobile platform based virtual reality interactive contents to be used in experiments for improve user's immersion who experience the virtual reality contents, get interests and design the input processing that easily controllable. Then design the input processing technique in two methods, with gamepad that accessibility to mobile and with directly through user's gaze to interface. Through virtual reality based input processing technique that we proposed, we analyse effect of improve user's immersion, cause of get interests and whether provide the convenience or not for controlling contents through experiments. Moreover we verify whether bring negative psychological elements like sickness, fatigue or not.

  • As the development of networks and computer systems, users want various services. To meet user's various needs, new technologies is developed and a software streaming technology, uses software with streaming technology, is newly coming out. If network trouble occurs, the software is not available because the streaming server can't send the binary code that software needs to be executed in the streaming service based on network environment. In this paper, we propose the management technology of software binary code in client that managing the binary codes classfied by the function kept in the local storage device, provides the service continuously after the network trouble with the given binary code previously not the binary code from the server.

  • The problem of software reuse is dealt in two approaches. One is to build a new software by composing of the built-in components, and the other is to reuse architectural patterns that most of software system is generally composed of. Although the two approaches are important in design of software architecture, we could find outstanding difference in what kind of building blocks they use. The component based software design makes uses of building blocks whose contents are filled in by someone, on the other hand, the architectural pattern based software design is not interested in the contents of building blocks, but in the framework for building blocks including relationship of the building blocks. The paper purposes to find architectural patterns which are commonly found in diverse applications and help software architects reuse them in the software design process. We refine the architectural styles which is the well-known concept for software architecture design, and refine them as architectural components or templates which can be parts of software architecture.

  • To make the DRM technology protect adequately the copy right of digital contents, DRM software should have high quality and no defects when DRM is added to digital contents. It can be a basis for the effective protection of the copyright of digital contents to develop a quality evaluation model of DRM SW. First of all, the security of DRM SW is the most critical quality characteristic that DRM software must have. In this paper, we conducted research on how to measure the quality of security of DRM SW.

  • In this paper, we propose the profile processing algorithm based on in-life sports contents. The proposed algorithm is required research for recommending to sport for all contents, and is preceding research to improve reliability of recommendation. So the proposed algorithm processing dynamic profile based on dynamic information for recommendation, and processing weight values that depending on dynamic recommendation classification. The proposed profile processing algorithm is expected to improve satisfaction of contents recommendation.

  • With the development of digital content software production technology and the technological progress of related hardware, the social status quo in the post-epidemic era, the popularization and application of 5G networks, the market and consumers' increasing demand for digital content products, artificial intelligence, virtual digital human, virtual Idols, virtual live, self-media content and metaverse-related content industries are all developing rapidly. Virtual idols, virtual digital human, etc. are not only accelerating innovation in production technology. The economic cost, technical difficulty and time requirements of production are also greatly reduced. With the arrival and development of the Metaverse, the author believes that the content industry with virtual digital humans as the core will continue to develop in the direction of refinement, specialization, facilitation and customization. In this article, we will analyze and study the production of virtual digital human based on Photoscan technology and Unreal Engine 5 Metahuman software, and discuss the application status and future development of related content.

  • Software has become an integral part of almost any system, triggered by the ever-growing demand for automation and artificial intelligent throughout engineering domains. The complexities of software-centric systems are also increasing, which make software test efforts become essential in software development projects. In this study, we applied systems engineering methodology in generating software test cases. We found out the similarities between requirements analysis and traceability concept of systems engineering and test specification contents of software test. In terms of acceptance test, software test cases could be considered as validation requirements. We also suggested a method to determine test order using a SysML modeling tool.

Storyboard Software Usage Frequency Ranking and Usability (스토리보드 소프트웨어의 사용빈도 순위와 사용성)

  • Due to the trend of shift to digitalization of the storyboard in 1990's, many a number of storyboard related softwares were born. With this change of trends, however, there was an undeniable lack of tangible data showing the advantage of such digitalization of the storyboard using software technology over conventional methods of doing the same job. In this study, therefore, we have selected the top five storyboard software suits in terms of their frequency in use and a sample group of 85 people to give an analysis on their usability. The result of this analysis revealed two underlying tendencies regarding this issue. Firstly, all of the five softwares selected lacked interactive presentational features, suggesting the directives for the next phase of software development. Secondly, our experiments in this study showed that the most prominent benefit of using the softwares is the higher efficacy in delivering necessary information through real-time based replays, rather than the digitalization of the contents themselves. We expect that the findings of our study would serve as a new model for future software enhancement for the developers. And for the users of such softwares, too, the findings of this study is expected to help them understand what kind of benefits they can expect as they use these storyboard softwares.

  • This paper proposes a frame work for embedded system management. The management system can automatically monitor and maintain the Internet connected embedded-systems such as sensor devices, set-top box, web-pad, information appliances, PDA, etc. Users can easily diagnose system state, resolve system problems, maintain and update applications, and back up user information using the management system. We implement prototype for the management system on embedded Linux system and High -available Linux system.
