  • Three different improvements of the Velocity-based model were proposed in a minimal velocity-based pedestrian model. The improvements of the models are based on the different agent forms. The different representations of the agent lead to different results, in this paper, we simulated the pedestrian movements in some typical scenes by using different agent forms, and the agent forms included the circles with different radiuses, the ellipse and the multi-circle stand for one pedestrian. We have proposed a novel model of pedestrian dynamics to optimize the simulation. Our model specifies the pedestrian behavior using a dynamic ellipse, which is parameterized by their velocity and can improve the simulaton accuracy. We found a representation of the pedestrian much closer to the reality. The phenomena of the self-organization can be observable in the improved models.

  • Several different approaches and mechanisms are introduced to solve the UAV path planning problem. In this paper, we designed and implemented an agent-based simulation software using the Repast platform and Java Genetic Algorithm Package to examine an evolutionary path planning method by implementing and testing within the Repast environment. The paper demonstrates the life-cycle of an agent-based simulation software engineering project while providing a documentation strategy that allows specifying autonomous, adaptive, and interactive software entities in a Multi-Agent System. The study demonstrates how evolutionary path planning can be introduced to improve cognitive agent capabilities within an agent-based simulation environment.

  • Recently software agent has been studied as a new abstraction unit of software engineering. The agent with autonomous, adaptability and cooperation attribute is accepted as a new abstraction unit especially in distributed systems, open systems, and complex systems. However, the progress of agent research has been slow and the realization of agent programming language seems to be far distant. Because the properties of agent are diverse, the opinions of researchers can not converge to one. In this situation, software agent framework is accepted more realistic alternative solution. However the knowledge for its development doesn't have been shared among developers. So they often have to make same errors. We will help sharing of knowledge and experience by using pattern language which has been used in object technology for long times. This paper proposes a reactive agent framework pattern language and validates it based on ATAM[l] The increase of such indirect experience can reduce the waste of resource by preventing the same try and error. So agent framework developers are able to concentrate on more essential issues. Finally quality of software agent framework will be increased.

  • This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent) based on IP-USN. FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment.

  • 컴퓨터 분야에서 에이전트의 개념은 전자 상거래, 정보 검색과 같은 많은 어플리케이션들에 응용되어 중요 시 되고 있다. 하지만, 아직까지 지능성을 가진 테스트 도구는 없었다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 테스트 에이전트 시스템은 에이전트의 특성을 가지고 테스터를 도와주는 테스트 도구이다. 테스트 에이전트 시스템은 객체지향 테스트 프로세스를 따라 테스터의 일을 대행해 주고, 테스터의 간섭을 최소화 시켜 준다. 이 시스템은 자동 생성된 많은 양의 테스트케이스에서 중복이 없고 일관성 있는 테스트케이스를 지능적으로 선택하여 테스트 시간을 단축시켜 준다. 테스트 에이전트 시스템은 3개의 에이전트 User Interface Agent, Test Case Selection & Testing Agent, Regression Test Agent로 구성된다. 특히 Test Case Selection & Testing Agent은 RE-Rule과 CTS-Rule을 통하여 중복이 없고 일관성 있는 테스트케이스를 지능적으로 선택하며, Regression Test Agent는 RRTIS-Rule을 통해 리그래션 테스트 항목을 지능적으로 선택한다.

  • Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standard language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems. On the other hand, XML, which is a meta-language, provides meta-data types for representing and string objects. It make software development easy because it can represent various information and share information about the software analysis and design between developers, In this paper, we apply BitWiz, one of automated software generation systems, to a bid application and analyse this in UML point of view. Also, we briefly introduce an XML documentation from UML products and a verification method of XML documents from UML products.

  • With the wide usage of the Internet, there use of pre-developed software is becoming important more and more in the development of various communication software. In this paper, the architecture to reuse the communication software is proposed. It is applied to the development of MIB-II system group of SNMP agent software for reusing. If Communication software is developed using this architecture, the software development life cycle will be abridged and the development cost will be reduced.

  • Emotion Technology is used in many field such as computer A.I., graphics, robot, and interaction with agent. We focus on the theory, the technology and the features in emotion application. Firstly in the field of theory, there are psychological approach, behavior-based approach, action-selection approach. Secondly in the field of implementation technologies use the learning algorithm, self-organizing map of neural network and fuzzy cognition maps. Thirdly in the field of application, there are software agent, agent robot and entrainment robot. In this paper, we research the case of application and analyze emotion architecture.

Modified Deep Reinforcement Learning Agent for Dynamic Resource Placement in IoT Network Slicing

  • Network slicing is a promising paradigm and significant evolution for adjusting the heterogeneous services based on different requirements by placing dynamic virtual network functions (VNF) forwarding graph (VNFFG) and orchestrating service function chaining (SFC) based on criticalities of Quality of Service (QoS) classes. In system architecture, software-defined networks (SDN), network functions virtualization (NFV), and edge computing are used to provide resourceful data view, configurable virtual resources, and control interfaces for developing the modified deep reinforcement learning agent (MDRL-A). In this paper, task requests, tolerable delays, and required resources are differentiated for input state observations to identify the non-critical/critical classes, since each user equipment can execute different QoS application services. We design intelligent slicing for handing the cross-domain resource with MDRL-A in solving network problems and eliminating resource usage. The agent interacts with controllers and orchestrators to manage the flow rule installation and physical resource allocation in NFV infrastructure (NFVI) with the proposed formulation of completion time and criticality criteria. Simulation is conducted in SDN/NFV environment and capturing the QoS performances between conventional and MDRL-A approaches.
