The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a behaviorally anchored rating scale for peer evaluation in group projects based on social interdependence theory. A mixed method involving a qualitative and quantitative approach was used in this study. In the qualitative study, both the individual and group interviews were conducted to college students regarding their cooperative learning experiences. Data from this qualitative research was analyzed based on 5 elements of cooperative learning and 'critical incidents' were extracted from students' own voices that would serve as specific rating criteria in the scale. Once the 'critical incidents' have been incorporated into the scale, validation from 3 independent experts was conducted. In the quantitative study, correlations with relevant variables were analyzed to examine the criteria-referenced validity. Findings suggest that the behaviorally anchored rating scale for peer evaluation in group projects can be used in various team-based learning contexts.

This paper explores the ways in which collaborative working among multiple disciplines in building projects can be more effective and efficient. It focuses on the support that can be provided by the latest development in information and communication technologies. It also considers the growing interdependence between participants in the process and their changing roles as they harness the power of the new technologies in new collaborative arrangements. It is argued that collaborative working should be addressed holistically from the technological angle, the social angle, as well as the organisational angle, to ensure its successful implementation in the construction industry. A case study is given to illustrate the use of ICT in supporting value management studies. The key issues surrounding the emerging field of research - collaborative construction information management - and the potential benefits and challenges of its wide adoption are discussed at depth.

This study examined the interdependent retirement decision between husbands and wives. Since most of retirees in Korea retired by involuntary reasons such as health problems, it purposes to test whether the involuntary retirement of husbands(wives) influences the retirement decision of wives(husbands). Using data from 4th Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing Panel, it conducted probit and multivariate probit analysis on 1,038 dual-earner couples aged 51~76 to test interdependence of couples' retirement. The results showed that husbands who have retired wife were more likely to retire. It also proved that involuntary retirement of spouse is a significant predictor of early retirement decision, though the direction of the effect is reversed by gender. Wives were more likely to retire when husband were retired involuntarily, while husbands were more likely to stay in labor market. These findings helped to understand the retirement decision of aged couples in Korea and brought suggestion on labor market and care policies for aged couples.

A fundamental understanding of "sustainable development" is generally related to a triptych of social justice, ecological integrity, and economic well-being. It aims at a development of human societies that would achieve the reconciliation of social justice, ecological integrity, and the well-being of all living systems an the planet. Furthermore, the quest for "sustainable development" focuses on economic, ecological, and social dimensions. interdependence of culture and sustainable development. The original syntax was not quite standard English, i.e., it was also unclear and vague. Ergo, this is a hypothetical edit. If you demur, then please rectify it. In Germany, th "Tutzinger Manifest" also includes the cultural dimension as a major dimension of sustainability, thereby arguing for the integration of culture in strategies for sustainability; and furthermore for the building of networks in order to overcome this gap. The cultural dimension of sustainability in Germany involves not only cultural policy, but also culture management.

This empirical study is to investigate the influence of MMORPG player's social as well as individual characteristics on the emergent party play. First, we have tested our research model by surveying 231 active players of Lineage 2. The results demonstrate that both the personal values, such as self-efficacy and job satisfaction, and also the organizational values, such as task interdependence and trust, have significant influences on the organizational citizenship behaviors among the party players. This study suggests both theoretical and practical implications on how to encourage gamers' altruistic concern and organizational adaptation in MMORPG.

Our world has become an increasingly complex place in which, as individuals, We are very dependent on other people and upon organizations. An event in some distant part of the globe can rapidly and significantly affect the quality of life in our home country. This increasing interdependence, on both a national and international scale, has led us to create systems which can respond immediately to these systems are operating all around us in military, civil, commercial and industrial fields. The electronic computre is at the heart of many such systems, but the role of telecommunications is no less important. As we proceed through the 1980s, there will be a further convergence between the technologies of computing and telecommunications. We cannot doubt that the economic and social impact of these concepts will be very significant. Already. advanced systems of communication are affecting both the layman and the technician. Complex functions are being performed by people using advanced terminals which are intended to be as easy to use as the conventional telephone.

This study attempted to identify not only dimensions of clothing brand experience, but dimensions of perceived consumer-brand relationship. In addition, this study investigated the relationships among clothing brand experience, consumer-brand relationship and brand loyalty. 354 questionnaires were distributed to female and male respondents aged 20 to 30, and then analyed by SPSS and AMOS program. The results were as follows. First, it was identified that the dimension of clothing brand experience was composed of two dimensions; individual experience(personal dimension) and relational experience(social cultural dimension). Second, the type of consumer-brand relationship was found out as three dimensions; interdependence, love and passion, and partner. Third, these results showed that individual and relational experience of clothing brand was the most influential factor for love and passion dimension of consumer-brand relationship. Forth, love and passion dimension through clothing brand experience was the most influential factor for brand loyalty. Above results imply that the key of strong brand relationship lies in the emotion of love such as human relationship.

Globalization is an economic process responsible for the increase of interdependence of world economies. It enhances the mobility of national resources internationally via the integration of markets, trade and investments with minimal barriers to slow the flow of products and services. Although globalization has some positive impacts on the economy, it is said to be a factor in the decline of income inequality of the participating countries. However, the results of previous studies on the relationship between globalization and income inequality are inconclusive. This suggests that there are other factors influencing the relationship between the two variables. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of intelligence (IQ) in the globalization-income inequality relationship. This study employs the threshold regression technique and cross-nation observations from 117 sample nations for the period 1980-2016. The results show that the impact of globalization on income inequality in a nation relies on its IQ level. The results imply that economic globalization has a negative impact on income inequality in nations with lower IQ levels. It widens the gap between the poor and rich. While in nations with higher IQ levels, it seems to not have any significant impact on income distribution.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the actor and partner effects of daily stress and dyadic coping on marital satisfaction using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Mediational Model (APIeM). Methods: Participants were 314 couples who met the study's eligibility criteria. Data were collected from March to April 2016 through apartment and cooperative company communities in Seoul. Two APIeMs of positive and negative dyadic coping were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and Mplus 7.4. All measures were self-administered. Results: Daily stress and positive and negative dyadic coping in both spouses had direct actor effects on their marital satisfaction. Daily stress in both spouses had an indirect actor effect on marital satisfaction through their positive and negative dyadic coping. The husband's daily stress had an indirect partner effect on the wife's marital satisfaction through his positive dyadic coping, while the wife's positive dyadic coping had a direct partner effect on the husband's marital satisfaction. The husband's daily stress had an indirect partner effect on the wife's marital satisfaction through his negative dyadic coping, while the wife's negative dyadic coping had a direct partner effect on the husband's marital satisfaction. Conclusion: Dyadic coping is an effective way to deal with couple's daily hassles as it increase their satisfaction in marriage.

The purpose of this study is to identify the moderating effect of each of the three stress response (problem-centered treatment, pursuit of social support, and positive thinking) in the effect of work-family conflict between dual-earner couples on marriage satisfaction. To this end, 369 married couples (369 wives, 369 husbands) who raise children under the age of 6 were surveyed on stress coping (problem-centered, social support, and positive thinking), work-family conflicts, and marriage satisfaction. Based on the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model (APIM), the collected data verified six research models by distinguishing the moderating effects of each of the three coping strategies from the direction of Work to Family conflict and Family to Work conflict. Interaction graphs were also presented to determine the pattern of significant buffering effects. As a result, first of all, the problem-oriented strategy of the wife buffer the negative impact of the husband's WFC on the husband's own and wife's marriage satisfaction. It was also found that problem-oriented strategy that husband himself uses to buffer the negative impact of the husband's FWC on his wife's marriage satisfaction. Second, the pursuit of social support confirmed that the negative effects of the husband's WFC on the husband's marriage satisfaction were mitigated by the pursuit of social support used by his wife. Third, in the case of positive thinking, the effect of the positive thinking on the husband's WFC on the marriage satisfaction of the husband and wife was shown, and the positive response effect of the wife's FWC conflict was also shown. Finally, based on the results of this study, the discussion and implications of the study were presented.
