문화요인이 음식소비성향에 미치는 영향분석 -한국과 중국의 대학생소비자 비교분석- (A Comparative Study of Food Consumption Patterns with Cultural Factors for College Students in Korea and China)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore cultural factors that affect food consumption patterns by comparing them for college students in Korea and China. This study includes seeking pleasure, seeking satiety, and seeking well-being. Food consumption patterns, social responsibility, the value of life, faith in God, traditional moral fundamentalism and cultural taste are the cultural factors. To achieve the purpose, SPSS Win.(12.0) and LISREL(8.72) are applied. From the results of this study, first, among food consumption patterns, Koreans and Chinese both are found to put a higher value on seeking pleasure than other consumption patterns, and Chinese are found to put a higher value on seeking satiety. Second, for Koreans, the value of traditional moral fundamentalism and social responsibility are found to significantly influence seeking satiety and seeking well-being. If they had a higher degree of traditional moral fundamentalism, they would like to seek more satiety from food. And if they had a higher degree of social responsibility, they would like to seek more well-being from food. However, for Chinese, seeking pleasure is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God, and seeking satiety is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and the value of a good life while seeking well-being is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God. Compared with Koreans, cultural factors such as social responsibility, a faith in God, the value of a good life for the Chinese might influence significantly all three types of food consumption patterns. Thus, this study might provide more useful information about finding cultural differences of values and food consumption patterns between Koreans and Chinese.

청소년 수면의 질은 또래 친밀감을 높이는가? (Does a Good Night's Sleep Increase Peer Intimacy Among Adolescents?)

  • 수면은 인생의 약 삼분의 일을 차지하는 중요한 활동이다. 그동안 많은 연구들을 통해 수면이 개인의 인지 및 정서에 차지하는 중요성이 밝혀졌지만, 수면이 타인과의 관계에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해서는 상대적으로 알려진 바가 적다. 본 연구는 수면이 청소년의 또래 친밀감에 기여할 가능성을 검토하였다. 또한 수면이 기억 응고화에 핵심적이라는 선행 연구들을 토대로 수면의 이러한 관계적 효용이 긍정적인 사회적 기억에 의해 설명될 것이라고 가정하였다. 연구 결과, 예상대로 중학생 수면의 질은 이들이 또래 관계에서 느끼는 친밀감을 예측하였으며, 이는 부분적으로 사회적 일화를 긍정적으로 기억하는 데 기인하였다(연구 1). 이러한 현상은 고등학생에게서도 동일하게 나타났다. 수면의 질이 높은 고등학생일수록 또래와 친밀한 관계를 맺는 경향이 있었으며, 이는 사회적 일화 기억의 긍정성 수준에 의해 부분적으로 설명되었다(연구 2). 인과성을 알아보기 위해 연구 2에서 일주일 간격을 두고 기억 과제를 반복 실시한 결과, 잠을 잘 잔 학생들은 그렇지 않은 학생들에 비해 자신의 사회적 일화를 더 긍정적으로 기억하는 모습을 보였다. 반면, 수면의 질은 비사회적 기억의 긍정성 변화와는 유의한 관련성을 보이지 않았다. 수면의 대인적 기능 및 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

청소년의 학업스트레스와 정신건강의 관계에서 사회적 관계의 조절효과 (Moderating effect of social relationship on academic stress and psychological health)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine moderating effect of social relationship on the relationship between academic stress and psychological health among of adolescents. This data used in this study used data was derived from the wave 2-4(2004-2006) of Korean Youth Panel Study (KYPS). The results show that social relationship(parent-child relationship and peer relationship) had a moderating effect on academic stress and psychological health of adolescents. In short, it was verified that in the case of good social relationship, academic stress could actually buffer the effect of psychological health. However, it terms of parent-child relationship, it was not confirmed to have a moderating effect on academic stress and psychological health in the 11th grade. The results from above suggest that schools and related facilities adolescent should consider the program to reinforce social relationship and the timing of the intervention.

사회적 자본이 노사관계 및 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study of the Effects of Social Capital on Industrial Relations and Firm Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of social capital on industrial relations and firm performance, and to find out social capital is the antecedent factor of industrial relations. To serve the purpose of this study, we conducted the extensive survey on department managers and labor delegates of 110 Korean manufacturing firms. From the result, we identified that the industrial relations are more cooperative as the level of social capital increases, and the firm which has good relations between labor and management shows high performance. In addition, two factors of social capital (Trust/Participation) directly affect to the firm performance.

Personalizing Information Using Users' Online Social Networks: A Case Study of CiteULike

  • This paper aims to assess the feasibility of a new and less-focused type of online sociability (the watching network) as a useful information source for personalized recommendations. In this paper, we recommend scientific articles of interests by using the shared interests between target users and their watching connections. Our recommendations are based on one typical social bookmarking system, CiteULike. The watching network-based recommendations, which use a much smaller size of user data, produces suggestions that are as good as the conventional Collaborative Filtering technique. The results demonstrate that the watching network is a useful information source and a feasible foundation for information personalization. Furthermore, the watching network is substitutable for anonymous peers of the Collaborative Filtering recommendations. This study shows the expandability of social network-based recommendations to the new type of online social networks.

좋은 돌봄의 필요조건과 저해요인에 관한 연구 - 노인돌봄을 중심으로 - (The Necessary Conditions and Deterring Factors of Good Care)

  • 노인장기요양보험 도입으로 돌봄서비스는 크게 성장하였지만, '우리가 과연 충분히 좋은 돌봄을 하고 있는가'라는 질문에 대해서는 긍정적 대답을 하기 어렵다. 이 연구는 우리 사회가 좋은 돌봄을 실현하기 위해서는 어떠한 조건이 필요한가를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서는 좋은 돌봄을 창출하는 필요조건과 저해하는 상황이 무엇인지에 대하여 현실적인 지식을 습득하기 위한 방안으로 포커스그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 활용하였다. 포커스그룹 인터뷰는 요양보호사와 기관장을 대상으로 2014년 1월부터 3월까지 총 3회에 걸쳐서 진행하였으며, 인터뷰마다 3시간 정도 소요되었다. 분석 결과, 좋은 돌봄의 필요조건은 적극적 소통을 통한 상호 이해와 인정, 상호신뢰하고 존중하는 좋은 관계 맺기, 요양보호사의 전문성, 센터 관리자의 전문성, 가족-노인-요양보호사의 3각 파트너십으로 분석되었다. 반면, 좋은 돌봄의 저해요인은 사회적 인정을 받지 못하는 돌봄노동, 돌봄노동의 무정형성과 남용, 요양보호사 및 관리자의 비전문성, 가족의 부적절한 간섭과 무관심, 장기요양환경의 구조적 제약으로 분석되었다.

농촌 독거노인들의 사회적 지원과 생활만족도 (Social Support and Life Satisfaction of Living Alone elderly in Rural Area)

  • This study was conducted to identify the social support to living alone elderly in some rural communities and the level of life satisfaction. For the purpose of this study, face-to-face interviews and questionnaire were performed with 315 old people(male 43 and female 272) aged over 65 living alone in rural communities covered by 14 community health posts within Gyeongsangbuk-do Province randomly selected. The followings are summaries of findings; The average score of support from their children was $4.29{\pm}2.73$ out of 8. Variables that showed a significant difference were religion, level of living, type of medical insurance, frequency of meeting with children, time taken from houses of children by usual means of transportation, and subjective health status. It was found that the score of support from children was high for the elderly who had a religion, a good level of living, benefit from medical insurance, a high frequency of meeting with children, or a good subjective health status, or who resided close to their children's houses. The level of the support from friends and relatives showed a significant difference depending on the subjective health status, of which the average score was $4.13{\pm}2.61$ out of 8. The average score of the level of life satisfaction was $6.83{\pm}4.24$(male $7.60{\pm}4.09$ and female $6.71{\pm}4.26$) out of 17. Male elderly showed the higher level of life satisfaction than female elderly. Variables that showed a statistically significant difference in the level of life satisfaction were religion, level of living, medical insurance, hobby, children, disease, subjective health status, and ADL. That is, the level of satisfaction with life was found to be higher for the elderly who had a religion, a good level of living, benefit from medical insurance, a hobby, children, no diseases, or a good ADL, or who thought that they are healthy. The regression analysis with support from children as a dependent variable showed that the level of support from children was higher for the elderly who had a good level of living, frequency of meeting with children, or a good subjective health status. The regression analysis with the level of support from friends or relatives was higher for old people who had a good level of living. The regression analysis with the level of life satisfaction as a dependent variable showed that the factors which related to the level of satisfaction were sex, religion, level of living, hobby, ADL, and subjective health status. That is, it was found that for male elderly who had a religion, a good level of living or a hobby, or who thought that they were healthy, the level of life satisfaction was higher.

사회혁신의 장으로서 리빙랩과 패러독스 (Paradoxes of Living Lab as a Social Innovation Arena)

  • 주도적 사용자 참여, 실생활 상황의 실험 등이 핵심요소인 리빙랩은 과학기술 혁신과 혁신의 사회적 기여를 위한 수단으로 각광받고 있다. 최근에는 사회혁신이나 지속가능한 시스템 전환에까지 활용되는 등 질적 변화도 나타나고 있다. 그러나 리빙랩 접근에서는 동질성, 사용자 경험, 갈등, 사업화, 확산 등의 측면에서 상이한 요구 간 긴장으로 인한 패러독스가 나타날 수 있다. 리빙랩이 사회혁신과 지속가능한 시스템으로의 전환을 위한 유용한 도구로 활용되기 위해서는 이러한 패러독스를 이해하고 관리할 필요가 있다. 리빙랩은 특정 문제의 해결에는 매우 유용하지만 모든 문제의 해결책은 아니다. 여전히 이론적 논거와 경험적 성과가 부족한 리빙랩이 사회혁신의 수단으로서 성과를 거두기 위해서는 패러독스를 이해하고 관리하는 것이 필요하다.

광고 캠페인의 소셜 네트워크 확산 구조에 대한 연구 (How do advertisements spread on social networks?)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 광고 캠페인이 소셜 네트워크에서 어떻게 확산되고 있으며, 광고의 핵심 요인인 광고모델이 확산에 어떤 역할을 하는지 그 패턴과 양상을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 본 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 국내 맥주 브랜드인 '클라우드(Kloud)'를 수집 키워드로 하여 텍스트마이닝과 소셜 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 구체적으로 '클라우드' 광고의 영향이 어떻게 SNS에 나타나는지 살펴보기 위해, '설현'이 광고모델로 처음 등장한 'Good Body' 광고 집행 이후 2달 간 네이버 블로그와 카페의 소셜 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다, 그 결과, 광고 이후 클라우드에 대해 '?고 트렌디한 스타일', '맥주 브랜드', '맥주와 어울리는 음식', '럭셔리한 맥주 음용 장소', '여가 트렌드', 'SNS 활동' 등으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 클라우드 광고 모델 '설현' 역시 모델 이미지를 브랜드에 전이시키는 동시에 광고의 USP 및 브랜드명을 잘 전달하고 있는 것으로 나타나, 광고 모델이 소셜 미디어 상에서 광고와 브랜드의 확산에 영향을 주는 주요 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 소셜 네트워크 분석을 이용하여 광고 캠페인의 SNS 상의 확산 구조와 패턴을 밝혀냄으로써 광고 캠페인의 효율적인 운영 관리에 실무적인 기여를 했다는 의의를 갖는다.

여성의 외모가 직장생활에 미치는 영향 - 은행근무 대상자를 중심으로 - (The Effects of Physical Appearance of Business Women on their Career - Focused on the Women workers at Commercial Banks in Korea -)

  • With the women's education level higher and gender equality more promoted, women's opportunity of taking part in business is increasing. Entering the emotional age which counts self-image as being important, there is a view that woman's appearance has a direct relation to their social life. The research is to examine the hypothesis and important factors for women workers at banks for their successful career, that is, to verify the effects of women's appearances on their social life, furthermore, to help female applicants for a bank and the bank clerks have a desirable social life. The subjects were 200 male and 100 female bank clerks and the research was analyzed on the basis of a total of 300 questionnaires. The results are as follows: first, 52 percent of male subjects responded that the factors of "sociability" and "character and good manners" are the most important in social life, while 47 percent of female subjects answered the factor of "ability" is so. Second, 61.5 percent of male and 84 percent of female respondents answered that woman's appearance has a potent influence on their social life. Third, 76 percent of male and 90.9 percent of female respondents answered that when the companies employ woman workers, they take woman's appearance into consideration. It shows even at job interviews that good-looking applicants are in a better position, for bankers must consult with many customers and so their neat and tidy appearance such as their natural make-up and decent hair style (short-hair style) is one of significant factors to perform their jobs. Therefore, appearance managements are primary for women bankers to work at their workplace.
