A systematic approach to suicidal cancer patients is a essential, and there is need for specific training for all hospice professionals. In this case report, the author introduced knowledge and clinical guidelines for a desirable approach to suicidal cancer patient.

  • Disaster Safety Management Information standardization and harmonization simplifies the process of disaster management (prevention, preparedness, response and recovery) to increase the efficiency of disaster management, it is necessary to minimize the people's life and property damage. Disaster safety standardization is to standardize disaster safety information in the past to respond to an uncertain future and systematically manage disaster safety accordingly. This study developed a standard code system to utilize disaster safety information such as earthquake, fire, and fine dust, which are of social interest among various and complex environmental disasters. It aims to support practitioners to conduct efficient disaster tasks in the event of a disaster.

  • While the advanced trffic environment systems are developed recently, the traffic systems for transportation vulnerable are still under development and their social life are limited as well. In order to the secure their mobility rights, it had been required to set up the particular system for the traffic welfare. One of the significant items is the express bus operation for wheelchair users. Thus, the research of development and operation for express buses with wheelchair users was funded by the Korean government. Before the express bus development for wheelchair users based on the current bus model, this study set up the evaluation method for the bus rollover characteristics to ensure occupant safety using the finite element method. The partial bus model was developed corresponding to the full bus model response under rollover event and the evaluation method based on two model (full bus model and partial bus model) responses is planned to apply the model development of express bus modification for wheelchair users.

  • Today, false news is increasing in volume, and fashion news often circulates uncritically. Therefore, an evaluation framework is needed to determine whether fashion news is accurate or good. In journalism, the judgment of good news is made through the criterion of news value factors. These factors are the criteria for assessing the likelihood of an event being reported in the news. Through the study of news value by various journalistic scholars, this study selected nine news value factors applicable to the value measurement of fashion news as the framework of analysis. Based on this, after analyzing the actual news on online fashion media, new characteristics and content were reconstructed for fashion news. As a result of the study, it was finally selected that the crucial factors were: expertise, social importance, timelessness, conflict, and negativity for measuring the value of fashion news. To assess the news value of fashion accurately, this study found that reconceptualized news values are needed, which are different from the news values of general journalism. The study is meaningful in that it explores elements and content for the development of a theoretical framework for the qualitative evaluation of fashion news.

  • Purpose: As moment-based marketing messages (i.e., messages related to current moments or event), companies put significant investments to distribute TV advertising related to external moments in a retail environment. While the literature offers strong support for the value of distributions of context-based messaging to advertisers, less attention has been given to how to design those messages to effectively communicate across channels. This research adds a new dimension of analysis to the study of advertising context and its cross-channel effects on online consumer behavior. Research Design, Data and Methodology: A system-of-equations Tobit regression model was adopted using data collected from an advertising agency that consists of 1,223 TV ads aired during the Rio Olympics and NCAA, tagging from consumers, and a text analysis. Results: First, TV ads with high centrality of context lead to lower online search behavior and higher online social actions. Second, how brands can design messages more effectively was explored by using product information as a moderator that could improve the impact of context-based TV advertisements. Conclusions: Given that expenses in traditional channels are still one of the biggest channel management decisions, it is critical to understand how consumer engagement varies by design of context-based TV advertising.

  • With the growing importance of ESG as a must-have business strategy, this study attempted to analyze the current state of ESG practices in the Korean fashion businesses. The ESG cases of fashion business were collected from news articles searched on the largest Korean internet portal by November 2021 from October 2020 when the number of articles began to increase meaningfully. Three hundred ninety one ESG cases of 112 fashion manufacturing brands and 332 ESG cases of 49 retail brands were analyzed. Casual and outdoor/sportswear brands among fashion manufacturers were most active in ESG practices, and various online and offline retailers were practicing ESG. Approximately one-third of the fashion brands were positioned as eco-friendly concept. While environmental practices were the most practiced ESG, governance was the least practiced. Among environmental practices, fashion manufacturing businesses were most active in eco-friendly product development, while retail businesses were in eco-friendly campaign-event-service and eco-friendly packaging. The most active social practice was the contribution to communities, followed by retail businesses' sharing growth with partner businesses. Governance practices were focused on the structure and operation of the board. Various ESG collaborations with various partners were also observed. The research result is meaningful verifying and diagnosing the ESG practices of the Korean fashion businesses.

  • Nowadays microblogs have become the most popular platforms to obtain and spread information. Twitter is one of the most used platforms to share everyday life event. However, rumors and misinformation on Arabic social media platforms has become pervasive which can create inestimable harm to society. Therefore, it is imperative to tackle and study this issue to distinguish the verified information from the unverified ones. There is an increasing interest in rumor detection on microblogs recently, however, it is mostly applied on English language while the work on Arabic language is still ongoing research topic and need more efforts. In this paper, we propose a combined Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to detect rumors on Twitter dataset. Various experiments were conducted to choose the best hyper-parameters tuning to achieve the best results. Moreover, different neural network models are used to evaluate performance and compare results. Experiments show that the CNN-LSTM model achieved the best accuracy 0.95 and an F1-score of 0.94 which outperform the state-of-the-art methods.

  • Since the COVID-19 vaccine became available, people have been sharing their opinions on social media about getting vaccinated, causing discussions of the vaccine to trend on Twitter alongside certain events, making the website a rich data source. This paper explores people's perceptions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine during certain events and how these events influenced public opinion about the vaccine. The data consisted of tweets sent during seven important events that were gathered within 14 days of the first announcement of each event. These data represent people's reactions to these events without including irrelevant tweets. The study targeted tweets sent in Arabic from users located in Saudi Arabia. The data were classified as positive, negative, or neutral in tone. Four classifiers were used-support vector machine (SVM), naïve Bayes (NB), logistic regression (LOGR), and random forest (RF)-in addition to a deep learning model using BiLSTM. The results showed that the SVM achieved the highest accuracy, at 91%. Overall perceptions about the COVID-19 vaccine were 54% negative, 36% neutral, and 10% positive.

  • When the reflector is hit by a vehicle or returned by a storm, an event is generated by the impact sensor and a trigger is operated. The trigger processing algorithm of this paper compares the X, Y, and Z values of the gyro sensor with the registered values and proposes to drive them to the original values by the operation of the 3-axis driving motor. And by recognizing the vehicle license plate, if the vehicle is stolen or a social problem, information is provided to the police operation network. When the reflector is stolen or moved, it has a registered GPS value, so it operates the theft monitoring function to process it.
