기질과 어머니의 양육태도에 따른 아동의 사회적 능력 (The Effects of Children's Temperament and Mothers' Child Rearing Attitudes on Social Competence)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of children's temperament and mothers' child rearing attitude on social competence of children. The subjects were 256 children(4- to 6-year-olds) who participated in Chun's substudy I (1992). Cluster analysis and two-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The instruments were the Temperament Rating Scale, Mother's Child Rearing Attitude Scale, and Kohn's Social Competence Scale. The results showed that there were significant social competence differences by temperament and child rearing attitudes. Interaction effects were found for boys in the 4- and 5-year-old groups. The main implications were confirmation of the validity of the "goodness of fit" concept and of the typology of Korean children's temperament.

초등학생의 공격성과 사회적 선호도, 지각된 인기도의 관계: 친사회적 행동과 사회적 유능성의 조절효과 (The Relations between Aggression and Peer Status among Elementary Students: Moderation Effects of Prosocial Behaviors and Social Competence)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 5, 6학년생을 대상으로 외현적, 관계적 공격성과 사회적 선호도 또는 지각된 인기도의 관계에서, 친사회적 행동이나 사회적 유능성이 조절효과를 보이는지를 알아보기 위해 남녀 집단별로 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 남녀 모두에서 공격성은 유형과 상관없이 사회적 선호도를 일관되게 낮추었으며, 친사회적 행동을 많이 하거나 사회적 유능성이 높다고 해도 이러한 부적 효과를 상쇄하지는 않았다. 한편, 남학생의 경우 외현적 공격성은 지각된 인기도를 유의하게 증가시켰고, 비일관적이긴 하지만 관계적 공격성 역시 인기도와 유의한 정적 관련성을 보였다. 여학생의 경우 관계적 공격성만이 지각된 인기도를 증가시켰다. 특히 남학생의 경우 공격성과 지각된 인기도의 관계가 친사회적 행동이나 사회적 유능성 등의 긍정적 속성들에 의해 조절되면서, 높은 공격성으로 인해 또래들로부터 거부되거나 선호도가 떨어지기는 하지만 또래집단 내에서 사회적 영향력이나 명망은 더욱 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 공격성이 또래집단 내에서 사회적 우위를 차지하기 위해 전략적으로 사용될 수 있음을 고려하여 새로운 개입방법을 모색할 필요가 있을 것이다.

슈퍼비전 지지체계가 슈퍼비전 역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Welfare Agency's Supervision Support System on Supervision Competence)

  • 본 연구는 슈퍼바이저의 슈퍼비전역량을 슈퍼바이지-슈퍼바이저의 비교 관점에서 고찰하고, 슈퍼비전역량에 대한 기관요인의 영향을 확인하기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 경기지역 사회복지기관 종사자 241명의 수립된 자료를 t-검정과 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 슈퍼바이저가 슈퍼바이지에 비해 슈퍼비전역량에 대해서 긍정적으로 평가하였으며, 슈퍼비전역량 하위영역 중 지식과 자질에서 집단 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 슈퍼비전역량의 선행 요인을 확인하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 확인한 결과 슈퍼바이저의 연령이 낮을수록 그리고 학력이 높을수록 자신의 슈퍼비전 역량을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며 기관의 지지는 p>.001에서 △R2=.305의 수준에서 슈퍼비전 역량을 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 슈퍼비전 역량을 강화하기 위한 방향을 제시하였다.

시설 보호 아동의 또래관계 증진을 위한 사회적 역량 프로그램의 효과 ('Social Competence Improvement Program' for Institutionalized Children' Positive Peer Relationship)

  • The program implemented in this study consisted of 4 parts : positive self perception, understanding and expression of emotion, communication skills, and interpersonal problem solving competence. Implementation took place once a week In 12 60-90 minutes sessions. The subjects were 33 11- to 13-year old children residing in 2 institutions similar to each other. The experimental group consisted of 11 boys and 7 girls and control group of 7 boys and 8 girls, respectively. Implementation was bracketed by pre- and post-tests. After the 12 weeks intervention program, there were significant differences between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group improved in social and communication skills. Both the experimental and control group didn't improve in self-esteem.

온라인 네트워킹 활동이 가상협업 역량 및 업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Online Social Networking on Individual Virtual Competence and Task Performance in Organizations)

  • With the advent of communication technologies including electronic collaborative tools and conferencing systems provided over the Internet, virtual collaboration is becoming increasingly common in organizations. Virtual collaboration refers to an environment in which the people working together are interdependent in their tasks, share responsibility for outcomes, are geographically dispersed, and rely on mediated rather than face-to face, communication to produce an outcome. Research suggests that new sets of individual skill, knowledge, and ability (SKAs) are required to perform effectively in today's virtualized workplace, which is labeled as individual virtual competence. It is also argued that use of online social networking sites may influence not only individuals' daily lives but also their capability to manage their work-related relationships in organizations, which in turn leads to better performance. The existing research regarding (1) the relationship between virtual competence and task performance and (2) the relationship between online networking and task performance has been conducted based on different theoretical perspectives so that little is known about how online social networking and virtual competence interplay to predict individuals' task performance. To fill this gap, this study raises the following research questions: (1) What is the individual virtual competence required for better adjustment to the virtual collaboration environment? (2) How does online networking via diverse social network service sites influence individuals' task performance in organizations? (3) How do the joint effects of individual virtual competence and online networking influence task performance? To address these research questions, we first draw on the prior literature and derive four dimensions of individual virtual competence that are related with an individual's self-concept, knowledge and ability. Computer self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to use computer technology broadly. Remotework self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to work and perform joint tasks with others in virtual settings. Virtual media skill is defined as the degree of confidence of individuals to function in their work role without face-to-face interactions. Virtual social skill is an individual's skill level in using technologies to communicate in virtual settings to their full potential. It should be noted that the concept of virtual social skill is different from the self-efficacy and captures an individual's cognition-based ability to build social relationships with others in virtual settings. Next, we discuss how online networking influences both individual virtual competence and task performance based on the social network theory and the social learning theory. We argue that online networking may enhance individuals' capability in expanding their social networks with low costs. We also argue that online networking may enable individuals to learn the necessary skills regarding how they use technological functions, communicate with others, and share information and make social relations using the technical functions provided by electronic media, consequently increasing individual virtual competence. To examine the relationships among online networking, virtual competence, and task performance, we developed research models (the mediation, interaction, and additive models, respectively) by integrating the social network theory and the social learning theory. Using data from 112 employees of a virtualized company, we tested the proposed research models. The results of analysis partly support the mediation model in that online social networking positively influences individuals' computer self-efficacy, virtual social skill, and virtual media skill, which are key predictors of individuals' task performance. Furthermore, the results of the analysis partly support the interaction model in that the level of remotework self-efficacy moderates the relationship between online social networking and task performance. The results paint a picture of people adjusting to virtual collaboration that constrains and enables their task performance. This study contributes to research and practice. First, we suggest a shift of research focus to the individual level when examining virtual phenomena and theorize that online social networking can enhance individual virtual competence in some aspects. Second, we replicate and advance the prior competence literature by linking each component of virtual competence and objective task performance. The results of this study provide useful insights into how human resource responsibilities assess employees' weakness and strength when they organize virtualized groups or projects. Furthermore, it provides managers with insights into the kinds of development or training programs that they can engage in with their employees to advance their ability to undertake virtual work.

유아의 친구관계와 사회적 지위 및 놀이행동과의 관련연구 (The Relationship between Preschoolers' Friendships, Social Status, and Play Behaviors)

  • This study investigated the agreement between 3 assessments of preschoolers' friendship: peer nominations, teacher nominations, and behavioral observations. The relationship between friendship, social status, social competence, and play behaviors was also investigated. The subjects were 44 5-year-olds. Teachers were asked to rate the children's social competence; play behaviors were observed during free play time. The results indicated high agreement between the 3 assessments. Popular children were more likely to have friends than other social status groups. Children without friends were more hesitant than children with friends. Children with friends were more accepted by peers and engaged in cooperative social play more than children without friends.

  • The objective of this study is to assess the effect of art activities of young children by utilizing the art therapy techniques on the daily stress and social competence of the young children. Out of children at the age of 5 in two classes of H kindergarten in P city, the study of 25 and controlling group of 25 are allocated to make a total number of 50 study objects. After pretests on the surveyed and controlling groups, 2-3times a week, totaling 12times of experimental treatments are made by selecting the art works of easy application on the education fields for the young children. The outcome of this study is as follow. First, the surveyed group participating in the art activities based on art therapy techniques gets lower points than the controlling group in criticism-attacking circumstance, anxious-frustrated circumstance, pride-deteriorated situation and the general daily stress. Second, the surveyed group participating in the art activities based on art therapy techniques gets higher points than the controlling group in positive-social activities, anxious-contracted activities, angry-aggressive activities and the general social competency.

  • Objective: This study explored benefits of a bibliotherapy program using picture books for self-growth supporting married Immigrant Women settle down as a healthy member of the Korean society. Method: This intervention program was implemented on twelve married immigrant women (and another twelve women as a control group), and their self-esteem and social competence before and after the intervention were examined. In addition, the researcher kept observation journals and conducted post-program interviews with the participants after the completion of the program to understand the changes in family relationships. Result: The results of this study are as follows: (1) the self-esteem scores of participants had increased after the intervention program, however, there was not significant differences between control and experimental groups, (2) the experiment group made more progress in improving social competence, and (3) the study confirmed through qualitative analysis that the program made positive contributions to improving the participants' quality of family relationships. Conclusion: Based on these results, implications for further research and practices were discussed.

SNS 활용이 수출마케팅 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of SNS Use on Export Marketing Performance)

  • 최근의 소셜 네트워크 서비스 (Social Network Service)는 그 사용범위와 목적이 확장하고 있다. 초기의 이메일, 리스트서브, 뉴스그룹 등 비교적 동질적 집단 간의 네트워킹 중심의 SNS로부터, 이제는 기업들에게도 게시판, 개인의 미니홈피나 블로그, Facebook, Twitter를 이용한 소셜미디어 마케팅이라는 개념이 형성되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소셜미디어 활용과 수출마케팅 성과의 관계성을 검증하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 SNS활용의 유형을 살펴보고, 이들과 수출마케팅 성과와의 관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과, SNS활용은 수출마케팅 성과와 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 제품의 온라인 적합성과 조직의 혁신수용성은 SNS활용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출된 반면, 마케팅역량과 국제화역량은 SNS활용을 통하여 수출마케팅성과로 이어지지 않는다고 파악되었다. 따라서 SNS의 활용을 증진시킬 수 있는 제품과 서비스의 개발과 함께, 조직 내부의 SNS활용에 대한 적극적 관심과 수용이 필요하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

결혼이주여성 대상 다문화 상담자들의 문화적 역량 관련 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory Study on Experience in Cultural Competence of Multicultural Counselors Working with Female Immigrants by Marriage)

  • 본 연구는 다문화적 실천현장의 확대에 따른 다문화화를 배경으로 결혼이주여성 대상 다문화 상담자들의 문화적 역량과 관련된 그들의 경험을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 상담자들의 문화적 역량과 관련된 그들의 경험을 그들의 관점에서 심도 있게 탐색하고자, 상담자 10명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였고 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 문화적 역량 관련 경험은 6개의 주제와 3개의 범주로 분류되었다. 6가지 주제는 언어와 문화의 차이로 인한 어려움, 자신과 자신의 능력에 대한 회의, 나를 돌아봄, 타문화와 문화 집단에 대해 배우려는 노력, 달라진 모습들, 여전한 불안감으로 나타났다. 이러한 주제들은 3개의 범주로 분류되었는데, 어려움, 변화를 위한 노력, 변화와 한계가 도출되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 결혼이주여성 대상 다문화 상담자들의 문화적 역량을 증진시키기 위한 사회복지적 방안이 논의되었다.
