대학생 자원봉사활동이 자기개발과 사회성개발에 미치는 영향분석: 자원봉사활동의 의미성 척도를 중심으로 (Effects of volunteer activities on self-development and sociability-development of undergraduates: focus on meaning of volunteering)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자원봉사활동이 대학생의 자기개발과 사회성개발에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 연구 1에서는 자원봉사활동의 15문항의 의미성척도를 개발하였고, 428명(남 193, 여 235)의 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석을 거쳐, 280명(남 124, 여 156)의 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 타당도를 검증하였다. 연구 2에서는 대학생 947명(남 461, 여 486)을 대상으로 봉사활동 전/후 태도변화와 자원봉사활동 의미성이 태도변화에 미치는 영향력을 비교 검증하였으며, 태도변화로는 자기개발요소와 사회성개발요소로 나누어 분석하였다. 자기개발요소는 자기평가, 자아존중감, 삶의 질로 구성하였고, 사회성개발 요소는 타인수용, 공동체의식, 민주시민의식으로 구성하였다. 분석결과, 자원봉사활동 전/후의 태도변화는 거의 나타나지 않았으나, 자원봉사활동의 의미성이 갖는 설명력은 매우 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 자원 봉사활동은 실천한다는 그 자체로는 효과가 없으며, 봉사활동 실천 후의 심리적인 만족도에 해당하는 의미성이 매우 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 대학생들이 자원봉사활동을 통해 내재화하는 가치와 그들이 기대하는 자기개발 및 사회성개발에 대하여 논의하였다.

심리운동이 학령 전 아동의 자아 개념, 사회성 및 공격성에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Psychomotorik on Self Concept, Sociability and Aggression in Preschoolers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a psychomotorik program on the self concept, sociability and aggression in preschoolers. Method: The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. There were 34 subjects in the experimental group and 34 in control group among 68 preschoolers in a nursery in the city of G. The experimental group received an 12 weeks psychomotorik. The out come variables were measured before and after the program. Collected data were analyzed by Fisher's exact test, t-test, $X^2$. test, repeated measures ANOVA & ANCOVA using the SPSS 15.0 program. Result: After psychomotorik program, self concept, sociability were increased and aggression decreased in the experimental group. Conclusion: Psychomotorik program was effective in increasing self concept and sociability and decreasing aggression. The program should be effective in psychological development of preshoolers.

아동의 정서 표현성과 사교성, 어머니의 의사소통 유형이 아동의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Children's Emotional Expression and Sociability, and Their Mothers' Communication Pattern on Their Prosocial Behavior)

  • This study investigated the influence of children's emotional expression and sociability, and their mothers' communication pattern on their prosocial behavior. The participants were 65 preschool children aged between 5 and 6, and their mothers. Each child-mother dyad was observed for 30 minutes in a lab setting, which was designed to evaluate the child's socioemotional competence and the mother's socialization behavior. Videotaped data were analyzed by two coders for aspects of sharing behavior, the expression of happiness, sadness, anger, anxiety, and sociability for children, and mothers' communication strategies. Results showed that children's anger and anxiety expression were the most significant predictors for their prosocial behavior. Mothers' punitive communication pattern negatively affected children's prosocial behavior. However, when compared to the children's emotional expression, its' accountability were not significant. The influence of negative emotions, and its' adverse role in interpersonal interactions are discussed.

온라인 비디오 게임 사용과 사회성 연구의 주요 쟁점에 관한 문헌고찰 (A Review of Major Issues on Research for Online Video Game Use and Sociability)

  • 사회성은 인간 삶의 고유 영역이자 종합적인 능력으로서 중요한 가치를 지닌다. 일반 통념상 사회성 부족이 게임 이용의 대표적인 문제점으로 지적되는 가운데, 본 문헌 고찰에서는 비디오 게임 중 온라인 비디오 게임을 대상으로 사회적 역량과의 관계를 살펴본 연구들을 분석했다. 해당 분야에는 현재 온라인 게임 안의 관계가 실제 관계를 대체하거나 보완하여 사회성 발달을 저해할 것이라는 견해와 온라인 비디오 게임이 직접적으로 사회성에 악영향을 미치지 않으며 오히려 사회적 학습의 공간을 제공함으로써 유익한 결과를 낼 수 있다는 주장이 팽팽하게 맞서고 있다. 또한 온라인 게임 이용과 심리특성 및 사회적 역량을 측정한 대규모 설문 조사에서도 게임 이용과 사회성 저하 간의 뚜렷한 관계성이 관찰되지 않았다. 이에 본 문헌 고찰 연구를 통해 온라인 게임 플레이가 사회성 저하를 초래한다는 고정관념에서 벗어날 것과 관련 연구의 타당성을 높이기 위한 노력이 필요함을 제안한다.

유아의 수줍음이 또래놀이행동에 미치는 영향: 교사-유아관계의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Shyness on Peer Play Behaviors of Young Children: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Teacher-Child Relationships)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effects of shyness of 3 to 5-year-olds and the teacher-child relationship on peer play behaviors. For this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting 33 teachers working with 277 three to five-year-olds at child care centers located in Chungbuk, Korea. SPSS 19.0 was used to implement exploratory analyses and hierarchical regression analysis. It was found that children with low sociability and thoes with close relationships with teachers indicated the least play disruption. Children whose assertiveness and sociability were low and whose relationships with teachers were close were likely to do the most play interaction. However, regardless of the level of the lack of assertiveness and of the lack of sociability, children with close relationships with teachers had a higher level of play interaction. Children with a higher level of lack of sociability and in conflict relationships with teachers had a higher level of play disconnection. Findings of this study highlight the importance of considering the interplay of children's shyness and teacher-child relationships in the development of peer play behaviors.

대학생의 자아존중감과 사회성, 주관적외모만족 간의 연계성 (Correlations between Self-esteem, Sociality, and Subjective Appearance Satisfaction among College Students)

  • This study aims to explore the relationships between self-esteem, sociality, appearance satisfaction, and subjective appearance satisfaction among college students. A self-administered questionnaire was used to survey students from 4-year colleges in Gwangju Metropolitan City. The findings reveal that personal self-esteem significantly impacts autonomy and activity, while social self-esteem significantly affects sociability and activity. Both physical and psychological self-esteem exhibit a significant influence on sociability, autonomy, and activity, underscoring their pivotal role in shaping social interactions. Further, both social and physical self-esteem significantly affect subjective appearance satisfaction, while bearing no significant influence on personal and psychological self-esteem. Thus, all self-esteem factors influence subjective appearance satisfaction, although some are not statistically significant. In addition, both sociability and activity display a statistically significant influence, whereas autonomy exhibits no such significance. This underlines the centrality of subjective appearance satisfaction in fostering sociability and activity. In sum, the outcomes underscore the interconnectedness of self-esteem, sociality, and subjective appearance satisfaction in college students. Moreover, the results indicate that higher subjective appearance satisfaction is linked with increased perceptions of self-esteem and sociality. Therefore, the development of programs oriented toward enhancing self-esteem and sociality among college students is imperative, enabling them to navigate their academic and social experiences with self-assurance.

협력 활동을 활용한 4, 5세 유아 사회성 프로그램 「버디톡」의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of 'Buddy TOC': A Sociability Program for 4- and 5-Year-Old Children through Cooperative Activities)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop a sociability program for young children (Buddy TOC), consisting of cooperative activities, and to investigate its effects on children's sociability, such as empathy, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills. Methods: The contents of the program were extracted through a literature review and analysis of previous research. The goodness-of-fit of the drafted program was verified by specialists in early childhood education and through a preliminary study. The effects of 'Buddy TOC' were tested based on the selected 5 sessions with regard to children's empathy, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills. Overall, 70 participants (35 in the experimental group and 35 in the comparison group) were 4-year-olds, and 67 participants (33 in the experimental group and 34 in the comparison group) were 5-year-olds. The data were analyzed by conducting ANCOVA based on age. Results: Empathy, self-regulation and interpersonal skill of the 4- and 5-year-old children in the experimental group were higher than those of the comparison group, and there were slight differences according to the subareas. Conclusion/Implications: The field applicability and importance of 'Buddy TOC' as a sociability program, utilizing cooperative activities for the promotion of young children's social skills, were discussed.

유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 사회성 지도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Mothers Invelvement of Their Preschool Childrens Peer Relations)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between mothers involvement of their childrens peer interaction, their memory of childhood peer relations, and their perception of childrens social competence. Subject consisted of 302 mothers of 4- to 6-year-old children. A sample of mothers completed a series of questionnaires assessing their peer experiences, perceptions about their childrens sociability, and a behavioral checklist of their involvement activities. The results indicated that mothers own sociability and their perceptions of their childrens sociability influenced their involvement. More intense maternal involvement occurred when mothers perceived their children to be sociable. Mothers with sociable peer recollections appeared to take more active role in their childrens social development.

팔정도지향 명상활동이 유아의 도덕성 및 사회성에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Noble Eight Fold Path Oriented Meditation Activity on Young Children's Morality and Sociability)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how the noble eight fold oriented meditation activities(NEFOM) interacts with young children's development of morality and sociability. This research has 56 participants aged 5 with a control group of 28 young children and another group with 28 kids. The instrument is a meditation program consisted with 10 training sessions; the noble eight fold was intensively applied and encouraged the participants to think of the behaviors that are desired in this theoretical framework. For the purpose, the research questions are as follows: First, are there effects of NEFOM on the morality of preschoolers. Second, are there effects of NEFOM on the sociality of preschooler. Main findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, NEFOM can improve preschoolers' morality in a sense of making a decision based upon its right and wrong in intentions, rather than immediate gain and loss as a consequence of their actions. Second, NEFOM can facilitate sociability by providing some opportunities to feel joy, happiness, tranquility, and hopeful emotions, instead of negative feelings of depression, stress, and aggressiveness. Furthermore, it can suggest concrete behavioral directions for them. To summarize, the meditation activities designed by the eight principles of the noble eight fold have strong educational potential to facilitate seeking the foundations of mindsets and thus have positive impacts on young children's morality and sociability by encouraging them to think through the principles and concrete directions for the behaviors.

  • 뉴미디어 기술과 디바이스의 발달에 따라서 유아 교육 분야에서 새로운 콘텐츠에 대한 다양한 시도들이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 유아를 대상으로 시지각과 사회성 증진을 목적으로 키넥트를 활용한 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠을 개발하였다. 시각으로 인지된 내용을 신체를 사용한 그리기를 통해 재현함으로써 시지각 능력을 강화시키고 또래유아와의 놀이 활동 속에서 자연스러운 신체접촉과 협동과정을 경험하여 사회성 증진을 강화시키도록 설계하였다. 이 콘텐츠는 유아의 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 캐릭터 개발 및 스토리 기반의 영상 제작과 프로세싱을 활용한 인터랙티브 프로그래밍을 통해 프로토타입으로 개발되었다. 1차 파일럿 테스트를 통해 개선점을 도출하였고, 2차 파일럿 테스트에서 유아들이 수정된 콘텐츠를 쉽게 따라하고 적극적으로 참여하는 것이 관찰되었다. 이는 개발된 콘텐츠가 아이들에게 자연스럽게 놀이 과정을 통해서 사물을 인지하고 서로 어울림으로써 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠로서의 가능성을 가지고 있음을 보여주고 있다.
