합성곱 신경망을 통한 강건한 온라인 객체 추적 (Robust Online Object Tracking via Convolutional Neural Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 객체를 추적하기 위해 합성곱 신경망 모델을 이용한 온라인 추적 기법을 제안한다. 오프라인에 모델을 학습시키기 위해서는 많은 수의 훈련 샘플이 필요하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 학습되지 않은 모델을 사용하고, 실험 영상으로부터 직접 훈련 샘플을 수집하여 모델을 갱신한다. 기존의 방법들은 많은 훈련 샘플을 획득하여 모델의 학습에 사용하였지만, 본 논문에서는 적은 수의 훈련 샘플만으로도 객체의 추적이 가능함을 증명한다. 또한 컬러 정보를 활용하여 새로운 손실 함수를 정의하였고 이로부터 잘못 수집된 훈련 샘플로 인해 모델이 잘못된 방향으로 학습되는 문제를 방지한다. 실험을 통해 4가지 비교 방법과 동등하거나 개선된 추적 성능을 보임을 증명하였다.

Exploiting Optimal Throughput of Adaptive Relaying Based Wireless Powered Systems under Impacts of Co-channel Interference

  • Considering a dual-hop energy-harvesting (EH) relaying system, this paper advocates novel relaying protocols based on adaptive time power switching-based relaying (AR) architecture for amplify-and-forward (AF) mode. We introduce novel system model relaying network with impacts of co-channel interference (CCI) and derive analytical expressions for the average harvested energy, outage probability, and the optimal throughput of the information transmission link, taking into account the effect of CCI from neighbor cellular users. In particular, we consider such neighbor users procedure CCI both on the relay and destination nodes. Theoretical results show that, in comparison with the conventional solutions, the proposed model can achieve optimal throughput efficiency for sufficiently small threshold SNR with condition of reasonable controlling time switching fractions and power splitting fractions in concerned AR protocol. We also explore impacts of transmission distances in each hop, transmission rate, the other key parameters of AR to throughput performance for different channel models. Simulation results are presented to corroborate the proposed methodology.

Interference Aware Channel Assignment Algorithm for D2D Multicast Underlying Cellular Networks

  • Device-to-device (D2D) multicast has become a promising technology to provide specific services within a small geographical region with a high data rate, low delay and low energy consumption. However, D2D multicast communications are allowed to reuse the same channels with cellular uplinks and result in mutual interference in a cell. In this paper, an intelligent channel assignment algorithm is designed in D2D underlaid cellular networks with the target of maximizing network throughput. We first model the channel assignment problem to be a throughput maximizing problem which is NP-hard. To solve the problem in a feasible way, a novel channel assignment algorithm is proposed. The key idea is to find the appropriate cellular communications and D2D multicast groups to share a channel without causing critical interference, i.e., finding a channel for a D2D multicast group which generates the least interference to network based on current channel assignment status. In order to show the efficacy and effectiveness of our proposed algorithm, a novel search algorithm is proposed to find the near-optimal solution as the baseline for comparisons. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the network throughput.

Comparison of covariance thresholding methods in gene set analysis

  • In gene set analysis with microarray expression data, a group of genes such as a gene regulatory pathway and a signaling pathway is often tested if there exists either differentially expressed (DE) or differentially co-expressed (DC) genes between two biological conditions. Recently, a statistical test based on covariance estimation have been proposed in order to identify DC genes. In particular, covariance regularization by hard thresholding indeed improved the power of the test when the proportion of DC genes within a biological pathway is relatively small. In this article, we compare covariance thresholding methods using four different regularization penalties such as lasso, hard, smoothly clipped absolute deviation (SCAD), and minimax concave plus (MCP) penalties. In our extensive simulation studies, we found that both SCAD and MCP thresholding methods can outperform the hard thresholding method when the proportion of DC genes is extremely small and the number of genes in a biological pathway is much greater than a sample size. We also applied four thresholding methods to 3 different microarray gene expression data sets related with mutant p53 transcriptional activity, and epithelium and stroma breast cancer to compare genetic pathways identified by each method.

인공위성 중계기용 고출력 전력증폭기의 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the solid-state power amplifier for satehite transponders)

  • This paper describes the development of a Ku-band ($12.25GHz\sim12.75GHz$) SSPA intended as a replacement for TWTAs used in communication satelite transponder. The power stage of the amplifier consists of tow intrmally matched 8W FET divices combined using the branch-line coupler. To operate this stage, the drive stage has been designed with intermally matched 2W, 4W, 8W FET and two medium power FETs. The entire amplifier is made up by a aluminum chassis housing both the RF circuit and the bias circuitry. A regrlator/sequencing circuitry is used for FET biasing. The amplifier results implemented in this way show $41\pm0.3dB$ small-signal gain, 15W saturation power, a typical two tone $IM_3=-21.5dBc$ with single carrier backed off 5dB from saturation, $2^*/dBmax$ AM/PM conversion, and $3.47\pm0.25nsec$ group delay.

A Study on Two Group Comparison in Gene Expression Data

  • Tusher, Tibshirani and Chu (2001) suggested SAM (Significance Analysis of Microarrays) to compare two groups under different conditions for each gene, using microarray data. They used two sample t-statistic adding fudge factor in the denominator to prevent the value of statistic from being inflated by large sample variance, which might result in significant difference despite of a small value in the numerator. This paper aims at finding robust fudge factor and replacing it in two-sample t-statistic used in SAM, which we call Modified SAM (MSAM). Using the simulated data and data used in Dudoit et al.(2002), it is shown that MSAM find significant genes better and has less error rate than SAM.

  • The concept of a continuous module is a generalization of that of an injective module, and conditions ($C_1$), (C$_2$) and ($C_3$) are given for this concept in [4]. In this paper, we study modules with properties that are dual to continuity. These will be called discrete and we discuss discrete abelian groups. Throughout R is a ring with identity, M is a module over R, G is an abelian group of finite rank, E is the ring of endomorphisms of G and S is the center of E. 곡률기반 기준점 검출을 이용한 계층적 심전도 신호 개인인증 알고리즘 (Hierarchical Authentication Algorithm Using Curvature Based Fiducial Point Extraction of ECG Signals)

  • Electrocardiogram(ECG) signal is one of the unique bio-signals of individuals and is used for personal authentication. The existing studies on personal authentication method using ECG signals show a high detection rate for a small group of candidates, but a low detection rate and increased execution time for a large group of candidates. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical algorithm that extracts fiducial points based on curvature of ECG signals as feature values for grouping candidates ​and identifies candidates using waveform-based comparisons. As a result of experiments on 74 ECG signal records of QT-DB provided by Physionet, the detection rate was about 97% at 3-heartbeat input and about 99% at 5-heartbeat input. The average execution time was 22.4 milliseconds. In conclusion, the proposed method improves the detection rate by the hierarchical personal authentication process, and also shows reduced amount of computation which is plausible in real-time personal authentication usage in the future.

  • Together with the emergence of Information and Communications Technology(ICT) and 4th Industrial Revolution, digital content is arising as a front-runner in the knowledge society. 21 century opened up an era of digital and cultural content, which is the industry to generating added values from future industries. This study aims to empirically examine the casual relation between three factors from Organizational Justice Theory Distributive, Procedural, Interactional Justices, and turnover intention through Organizational Immersion. A sample group for the analysis was employees at small/medium-sized digital content businesses with less than 60 workers. 200 questionnaires were distributed to the group for a week from July 22 to 28, 2019. 154 responses were collected and analyzed in this study, after eliminating 4 poor responses. The result of the study on Organizational Justice at digital content businesses showed that, first, Distributive Justice of the employees showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Second, the employees' Procedural Justice showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Third, the employee' Interactional Justice showed a positive influence on Organizational Immersion. Fourth, the employees' Organizational Immersion showed a positive influence on their turnover intention.

무선 센서 네트워크에서 이동 싱크 그룹의 분리를 지원하기 위한 라우팅 프로토콜 (Energy-Efficient Division Protocol for Mobile Sink Groups in Wireless Sensor Network)

  • 무선 센서 네트워크에서 구조 팀이나 군대의 소대처럼 이동 싱크 그룹에서 통신은 이동성을 제어하기 위해 새로운 도전 문제를 가져온다. 이를 위해, 이동 싱크 그룹을 지원해주기 위한 많은 연구가 제안되었다. 이동 싱크 그룹에서 이들은 어플리케이션의 특성에 따라 다수의 작은 그룹으로 분리 될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 전쟁에서 소대는 임무를 수행하기 위해 다수의 분대로 분리 될 수 있다. 그러나, 이전 연구들은 이동 싱크 그룹의 분리에 의해 발생되는 세가지 이슈를 다루지 않기 때문에 이동 싱크 그룹의 분리를 효율적으로 지원할 수 없다. 첫 번째 이슈는 새로운 작은 이동 싱크 그룹을 위한 리더 싱크를 선정하는 것이다. 소스로부터 작은 이동 싱크 그룹까지 효율적을 데이터를 전송하는 것이 두 번째 이슈이다. 마지막으로, 세 번째 이슈는 작은 이동 싱크 그룹들의 리더 싱크들 사이에 데이터를 공유하는 것이다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 이러한 세가지 이슈를 해결하는 것에 의해 이동 싱크 그룹의 분리를 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 첫 번째 이슈를 위해, 제안 프로토콜은 새로운 리더 싱크와 이전 리더 싱크 사이의 거리와 새로운 리더 싱크로부터 이것의 모든 멤버 싱크까지의 거리의 합이 최소가 되도록 새로운 작은 이동 싱크 그룹의 리더 싱크를 선정한다. 두 번째 이슈의 소스로부터 작은 이동 싱크 그룹까지의 효율적인 데이터 전송을 위해, 제안 프로토콜은 소스와 리더 싱크들의 위치 정보를 통한 계산을 통하여 소스로부터 작은 이동 싱크 그룹까지의 데이터 전송 거리를 최소화하기 위한 경로를 결정한다. 세 번째 이슈와 관련하여, 제안 프로토콜은 멤버 싱크들의 위치 정보를 고려하여 리더 싱크들 사이에 효율적인 데이터 공유를 제옥하기 위한 리더 싱크들 사이의 멤버 싱크를 이용한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안 프로토콜이 이전 프로토콜에 비해 에너지 소비의 관점에서 우수함을 증명한다.
