보봐스 개념에 기초한 중대뇌동맥 경색 환자의 자세조절이 신체도식과 시지각에 미치는 영향 : 단일사례연구 (The Effects of Postural Control based on Bobath Approach for Body Schema and Visual Perception of Middle Cerebral Artery Infarcts : Case Report)

  • Purpose:In this study is to verify the effects postural control training based on Bobath approach for body schema and visual perception on Middle Cerebral Artery(MCA) Infarcts. Methods:The subject was a 46 years old man with MCA infaction, lives in B city. An AB design for a single-subject research was used for this study. The procedures consisted of 1 time of baseline phase(A), 20 times of treatment phase(B). We applied the Bobath approach at the subject. Treatments included to facilitate trunk alignment and stability, and to train weight bearing and shifting, to facilitate pelvis movement, and to train walk especially stance phase and assist up-down stairs locomotion in environment similar to actual daily life. Results:With this treatment, the majority of body schema and visual perception and postural control was improved in treatment phase compared with in baseline phase. Therefore, this study supported the effectiveness of postural control training based on Bobath approach for body sechma and visual perception of hemiplegia. Conculusion:This study is integrated postural control training with Bobath approach that are widespread for hemiplegia and measured outcomes based on individualized therapy goals. Consequently the study is suggested the meaning of quality effectiveness of Bobath approach.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to the effect of task-oriented arm movements and muscle enhancement program using elastic bands on limb muscle strength and activities of daily living of mitochondrial myopathy patient. Method : Single-subject experimental research design was applied to. AB Design was adopted. The study period was approximately four weeks. A baseline period of the three sessions of the experiment, the treatment period B, 3 sessions were conducted. Baseline period to observe the patient's daily life bardel index was measured as an independent feature, MMT as a limb muscle strength was assessed by measuring early. During the period of treatment with serabaendeu limb strength training 30 minutes after the break five minutes after the treatment using MMT limb muscle strength were evaluated. Task-oriented exercise program, and who exercise a week as a treatment was carried out in 30 minutes. Result : All of the scores for each sessional period of treatment when compared to base line and upper limb muscle strengthening exercises on the subjects that did not change significantly. Conclusion : If the muscles and nervous system involvement in patients with symptoms such as muscle weakness and paralysis of upper extremity functional use is difficult.

Effects of Vojta Therapy on the Forced Vital Capacity and Forced Expiratory Volume at One Second in Young Male Smokers: A Single-Subject Design

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of Vojta therapy on the respiratory function in young male smokers. Methods: Three subjects were tested using the ABA design for Single-subject Experimental Research Design. This study was conducted with the baseline, intervention, and follow-up phase. Intervention was conducted three to four times a week for 20 minutes per times and a total of 25 sessions. The respiratory function was measured using a Spirometer. Results: The results of Forced Vital Capacity and Forced Expiratory Volume at one second for all subjects showed improvements in the intervention phase over the baseline phase. In the follow-up phase, the improved ability was still maintained or slightly reduced. Conclusion: Vojta therapy used on young male smokers was effective in both FVC and FEV1. In other words, the Vojta therapy worked effectively in improving the respiratory function. In future studies, it is necessary to have a control group and increase the number of trials in order to generalize the effect of Vojta therapy.

협응이동훈련이 아동의 자세 불균형과 보행에 미치는 영향 : 단일사례설계 (Effect of Coordinative Locomotor Training on Postural Imbalance and Gait in Children : A Single Subject Design)

  • PURPOSE: This study was examined the effects of coordinative locomotor training (CLT) on the postural imbalance and gait in children. METHODS: Four children were sampled as subjects. A single subject study (A-B-A') was conducted by measuring the following: baseline five sessions;, intervention phase, 15 sessions;, and postline (A') five sessions. The research period was eight weeks. The CLT program consisted of warming-up exercise, main exercise, and finishing exercise, and it was performed for one hour per day. A oneleg standing test (OLST) was performed determine the static balance. A functional reach test (FRT) was performed determine the reactionary balance. To determine the dynamic balance, the time up and go test (TUG) was performed. A 10m walking test (10 MWT) was performed to determine the walking ability. A statistical test was performed through descriptive statistics to present the average and standard deviation, and the variation rate was compared using a visual analysis method with graphs. RESULTS: As a result of CLT application, all four subjects improved the OLST, FRT, TUG, and 10 MWT compared to the intervention period baseline, and postline period. CONCLUSION: CLT appeared to improve the posture imbalance and gait in children.

상상연습이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형능력과 낙상 위험도 및 낙상 효능감에 미치는 영향: 개별대상자 실험연구 (The Effect of Mental Practice on Increasing Balance and Fall Index & Fall Efficacy Scale of Stroke Patients: Single Subject Experimental Research)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 상상연습이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형능력과 낙상 위험도 및 낙상 효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구방법 : 뇌졸중 진단을 받은 4명의 성인을 대상으로 개별대상자 실험연구 방법 중 대상자간 다중기초선(multiple baseline across individuals)으로 설계되었다. 기초선 과정과 중재 과정을 포함해 총 20회를 4주 동안 진행하며, 기능적 손 뻗기 검사를 이용해 균형능력의 변화를 측정했다. 그리고 낙상 위험도(Tetrax) 프로그램과 낙상 효능감으로 중재 전 후를 비교했다. 시각적 분석과 2 표준편차 밴드 분석방법을 통해 나타냈다. 결과 : 상상연습 중재기간 동안, 기능적 손 뻗기 검사를 사용한 결과 대상자들의 균형능력의 향상이 나타났다. 이러한 변화로 낙상 위험도가 감소하였고, 낙상 효능감이 증가했다. 결론 : 본 연구 결과, 상상연습이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형능력 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 향후 연구에서 더 많은 연구 대상을 통해 다양한 방법으로 균형능력을 측정하여 확인이 이루어졌으면 한다.

Effects of the Instrument Pilates Exercise Based on the Schroth Exercise on the Cobb's Angle, Angle of Trunk Rotation and Low Back Pain in Patients with Idiopathic Scoliosis: A Single Subject Study

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of the application of Schroth exercise-based instrument Pilates exercise on the Cobb's angle, angle of trunk rotation, and low back pain of female patients with idiopathic scoliosis. Methods: Three patients with idiopathic scoliosis at a Cobb's angle of 20° or more participated in this study. Among the single-subject experimental research designs, a reversal (ABA) design was performed. In particular, Schroth exercise-based instrument, Pilates exercise, was performed for 10 weeks, consisting of five weeks between the baseline and intervention one period and five weeks between the intervention 1 and intervention 2 periods, and then followed up for five weeks. Results: After the Schroth exercise-based instrument, Pilates exercise, was applied, the Cobb's angle and the angle of trunk rotation decreased compared to the baseline in all subjects, and the follow-up period also showed a continuous decline. After Pilates exercise was performed, low back pain in subjects 1 and 2 was decreased in the intervention 1 period compared to the baseline. The level of low back pain in the intervention 2 period increased compared to the intervention 1 period, but a reduction was noted in the follow-up period. The low back pain in the subject was decreased in all intervention periods and the follow-up period. Conclusion: Schroth exercise-based Pilates exercise improves the Cobb's angle and the angle of trunk rotation for female patients with idiopathic scoliosis in their teens and 20s, and an effective intervention method is proposed for low back pain.

구강 활동을 병행한 감각통합중재가 구강 방어 아동의 먹기에 미치는 효과: 단일 실험 설계 연구 (The Effects of Oral Activity With Sensory Integration Intervention on Eating of a Child With Oral Defensiveness: A Single-Subject Research Design)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 구강활동을 병행한 감각통합중재가 구강방어 아동의 먹기에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 발달장애로 진단받은 만 6세의 남자 아동을 대상으로 2017년 4월 21일부터 6월 2일까지 총 6주간 구강활동을 병행한 감각통합 중재를 실시하고 평가하였다. 실험설계는 개별실험연구(single-subject design) 중 AB설계를 사용하였고, 기초선 A(감각통합치료) 5회기와 중재기간 B(구강 활동을 병행한 감각통합치료) 10회기로 총 15회기를 적용하였다. 실험기간 동안 아동의 먹기 수행의 변화를 측정하기 위해 목표성취척도(Goal Attainment Scale; GAS)를 사용하였다. 결과 : 구강 활동을 병행한 감각통합중재 후 좋아하는 음식을 자발적으로 먹기(GAS 평균값 1.9점)와 싫어하는 음식을 자발적으로 먹기(GAS 평균값 1.7점)가 향상되었다. 결론 : 구강활동을 병행한 감각통합중재가 구강방어로 음식섭취에 제한이 있는 아동의 먹기 수행에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다.

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 능동적 구강놀이 병행한 Ayres Sensory Integration®(ASI®) 적용이 아동의 구강 민감도와 섭식행동의 문제에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 발달지연으로 진단받은 만 3세 6개월의 남자 아동을 대상으로 2018년 8월부터 2018년 9월까지 능동적 구강놀이 병행한 Ayres Sensory Integration®(ASI®)를 실시하였다. 실험설계는 단일사례연구(single-subject design) 중 ABA'설계를 사용하였고 15회기의 중재를 시행하였다. 중재기간 동안 아동의 구강민감도 변화를 측정하기 위해 임상 구강민감도 측정(Measuring Oral Sensitivity in Practice)을 실시하였다. 구강감각처리 어려움으로 섭식활동에 영향을 주는 행동은 한국형 섭취 행동 검사(Korean Children's Eating Behavior Inventory; K-CEBI), 식품 섭취 빈도 체크리스트를 중재 전후로 실시하였다. 결과 : 능동적 구강놀이와 ASI 중재기간 동안 임상 구강민감도와 섭취행동의 문제는 감소하였고 편식행동에는 변화가 없었다. 결론 : 능동적 구강놀이 병행한 ASI 중재는 아동의 구강민감도와 섭취행동의 문제를 감소하는데 긍정적인 효과가 있었다.

사용자 경험 측면에서 소셜로봇의 역할에 관한 고찰 -1인 가구 생활을 중심으로- (A Study on the Role of Social Robot in Aspect of User Experiences -Focus on Single-person Households-)

  • 본 연구는 최근 급증하고 있는 1인 가구 내 개인이 직면할 수 있는 심리적 소외감을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 인간과 정서적으로 소통할 수 있는 소셜로봇의 역할 탐색에 목적이 있다. 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 소셜로봇의 정의와 특징을 파악 후 소셜로봇의 현황과 미래 전망을 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 향후 소셜로봇의 잠재적 수요자가 될 수도권에 거주하는 만 20세 이상 30세 이하의 1인 가구를 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 하여 사용자 경험 측면에서 소셜로봇에게 필요한 역할을 정리하였다. 그 결과 모든 실험자는 자신에게만 특화되어 상호작용할 수 있는 소셜로봇이 필요하다고 응답했으나, 로봇과의 애착 형성 필요성에 대해서는 개인마다 차이를 보였다. 이를 통해 개인별 생활 방식 및 성향 등에 따라 소셜로봇에게 요구하는 점이 다르다는 것을 파악하였다. 따라서 향후 소셜로봇이 인간의 삶 속에 자리매김하기 위해서는 개별 맞춤형 소셜로봇의 기술 개발과 사용자 경험 측면에서의 고려가 필요하다는 함의를 도출할 수 있었다.

보이타 치료가 경직형 양하지 뇌성마비 아동의 대동작 운동기능 및 선택적인 수의적 운동조절에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Vojta therapy on Gross Motor Function Measure and Selective Voluntary Motor Control in Children with Spastic diplegia)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Vojta therapy on Gross Motor Function Measurement(GMFM) and Selective Voluntary Motor Control (SVMC) in children with Spastic diplegia. Methods : During this experiment, the subject of four children diagnosed with spastic diplegia was tested using ABA design for Single-subject Experimental Research Design. The procedure consisted of baseline, intervention and follow-up phase which was held thirty minutes each for three times a week for a total of 24 times. Gross motor function was measured using GMFM and selective voluntary motor control was measured using SCALE. Results : According to this study, the gross motor function and selective voluntary motor control of all subjects were improved from their intervention phase to their baseline phase. During the follow phase which the intervention was removed, the ability that was enhanced during the prior phases was still either maintained or only reduced slightly. Conclusion : The Vojta therapy used on children diagnosed with spastic diplegia was effective on both GMFM and SVMC. In other words, the therapy was effective on coordination. However, this study is difficult to be generalized due to the insufficient number of subject. In further studies, it will be necessary to increase the number of trials with a control group in order to generalize the effectiveness of Vojta therapy.
