발열성 소아 신우 신염에서 단일 세균 감염과 혼합 세균 감염의 임상적 비교 (The Clinical Comparison between Monomicrobial and Polymicrobial Urinary Infection in Febrile Pediatric Acute Pyelonephritis)

  • 목적: 발열이 있는 소아 신우 신염에서 단일 세균과 혼합 세균 감염군 두 군간의 임상적인 비교를 하였을 때, 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보이는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 2008년 1월부터 2010년 8월까지 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$대학교 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$병원과 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$병원을 대상으로 2년 8개월간 발열이 있는 신우 신염 환아 95명 중, 치골 상부 방광 천자 및 도뇨관 채뇨에 의해 채취한 요 배양 검사 상 단일균 군(S 군) 89명과 혼합균 군(M 군) 6명의 두 군으로 나눠 후향적으로 임상 소견을 비교하였다. 비교 항목으로는 발열 일수, 말초 혈액 백혈구 수치와 C-반응 단백(CRP), 수신증, 방광 요관 역류, 신반흔 형성에 대한 비교를 분석하였다(수신증, 방광 요관 역류 및 신 반흔이 있으면= 1, 없으면= 0). 결과: 단일균 양성인 환아 그룹과 혼합균 양성인 환아 그룹에서 발열 일수(혼합균 vs 단일균 $4.7{\pm}3.1$ vs. $6{\pm}5.7$ days), 혈청 백혈구 수치(혼합균 vs 단일균 $18,630{\pm}6,483$ vs. $20,153{\pm}7,660/uL$)와 C-반응 단백 수치(혼합균 vs 단일균 $100.6{\pm}2.46$ vs. $81.1{\pm}0.09\;mg/L$), 수신증, 방광 요관 역류 그리고 신 반흔 모두 두 군간에 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론: 요로 감염 환아에서 요 배양 검사 상 혼합균 양성이 나온 경우 일반적으로 오염 균주로 생각하고 간과되기 쉬울 수 있으나, 진단 시 주의 깊게 해석하는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

광자극발광법, 열발광법 및 전자스핀공명법을 이용한 국내 방사선 조사 허용 외 식품에 대한 검지법 적용 연구 (Studies on the Applications of PSL, TL and ESR Methods for The Detection of Irradiated Foods not Allowed to be Irradiated in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 2008년부터 2010년까지 국내 수입물량이 많은 품목 중 국외에서는 허용되었지만, 국내 허용되지 않은 식품군에서 일부 견과류, 과실류, 기호식품, 유지종자류, 건어물류, 채소류, 향신식품 등 15 품목을 선정하여 PSL, TL 및 ESR을 이용하여 실태조사와 검지법별 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. PSL 측정 결과는 건새우, 볶음땅콩, 조미땅콩에서는 적용 가능성이 높은 것으로 판단되었으나 나머지 품목에서는 적용 가능성이 낮다고 판단하였다. TL 시험법의 경우 대부분의 조사시료는 $150{\sim}250^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 비조사 시료는 $300^{\circ}C$ 이상에서 강한 glow curve peak가 나타남으로써 비조사구와 조사구간의 확인이 가능하였으나 조미땅콩, 건자두, 건체리, 망고(냉동)에서 시료에 미네랄이 없거나 양이 적어 적용 가능성 낮았다. 또한, 동일 식품군이라도 가공 과정이나 미네랄 함량 등 개별 시료의 차이에 의하여 TL glow curve의 intensity가 낮게 나타나 TL 시험법 적용이 가능한 경우도 있고 불가능한 경우도 있는 것으로 확인되었다. ESR 분석 결과는 건포도, 건체리, 망고(건, 냉동), 람부탄(냉동) 및 코코아(파우더/16.1%, 20%, 30%, 40%)에서 결정형 당 유래의 라디칼에 의한 다성분 ESR signal이 관찰되었다. 건자두, 계피가루, 파슬리, 당근 및 브로콜리에서 셀룰로오스 유래의 라디칼에 의한 특이 ESR signal이 관찰되었다. 건한치, 황태채 및 건새우에서 하이드록시아파타이트 유래 라디칼에 의한 특이 ESR signal이 관찰되었다. 하지만, 대부분의 시료에서 조사 전후 모두 single line의 비특이적인 signal이 관찰되어 대조군이 없는 경우에는 방사선 조사 여부 확인시험법으로서 적용가능성이 낮다고 판단되었다. 방사선 조사 허용 외 식품을 대상으로 방사선 조사여부를 분석한 결과, 대상식품 모두에서 방사선이 조사되지 않은 것으로 확인되었으며, 대부분의 품목에서 TL과 ESR 검지법이 PSL 검지법 보다 적용 가능성이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 TL은 미네랄 함량이 적은 시료를 제외한 대부분 시료에서 검지법별 적용 확대가 가능하였으나 ESR은 식품유형과 함량에 따라 결과에 차이가 있어 검지법별 적용 가능성 연구가 지속적으로 필요할 것으로 생각하였다.

한정된 O-D조사자료를 이용한 주 전체의 트럭교통예측방법 개발 (DEVELOPMENT OF STATEWIDE TRUCK TRAFFIC FORECASTING METHOD BY USING LIMITED O-D SURVEY DATA)

  • The objective of this research is to test the feasibility of developing a statewide truck traffic forecasting methodology for Wisconsin by using Origin-Destination surveys, traffic counts, classification counts, and other data that are routinely collected by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). Development of a feasible model will permit estimation of future truck traffic for every major link in the network. This will provide the basis for improved estimation of future pavement deterioration. Pavement damage rises exponentially as axle weight increases, and trucks are responsible for most of the traffic-induced damage to pavement. Consequently, forecasts of truck traffic are critical to pavement management systems. The pavement Management Decision Supporting System (PMDSS) prepared by WisDOT in May 1990 combines pavement inventory and performance data with a knowledge base consisting of rules for evaluation, problem identification and rehabilitation recommendation. Without a r.easonable truck traffic forecasting methodology, PMDSS is not able to project pavement performance trends in order to make assessment and recommendations in the future years. However, none of WisDOT's existing forecasting methodologies has been designed specifically for predicting truck movements on a statewide highway network. For this research, the Origin-Destination survey data avaiiable from WisDOT, including two stateline areas, one county, and five cities, are analyzed and the zone-to'||'&'||'not;zone truck trip tables are developed. The resulting Origin-Destination Trip Length Frequency (00 TLF) distributions by trip type are applied to the Gravity Model (GM) for comparison with comparable TLFs from the GM. The gravity model is calibrated to obtain friction factor curves for the three trip types, Internal-Internal (I-I), Internal-External (I-E), and External-External (E-E). ~oth "macro-scale" calibration and "micro-scale" calibration are performed. The comparison of the statewide GM TLF with the 00 TLF for the macro-scale calibration does not provide suitable results because the available 00 survey data do not represent an unbiased sample of statewide truck trips. For the "micro-scale" calibration, "partial" GM trip tables that correspond to the 00 survey trip tables are extracted from the full statewide GM trip table. These "partial" GM trip tables are then merged and a partial GM TLF is created. The GM friction factor curves are adjusted until the partial GM TLF matches the 00 TLF. Three friction factor curves, one for each trip type, resulting from the micro-scale calibration produce a reasonable GM truck trip model. A key methodological issue for GM. calibration involves the use of multiple friction factor curves versus a single friction factor curve for each trip type in order to estimate truck trips with reasonable accuracy. A single friction factor curve for each of the three trip types was found to reproduce the 00 TLFs from the calibration data base. Given the very limited trip generation data available for this research, additional refinement of the gravity model using multiple mction factor curves for each trip type was not warranted. In the traditional urban transportation planning studies, the zonal trip productions and attractions and region-wide OD TLFs are available. However, for this research, the information available for the development .of the GM model is limited to Ground Counts (GC) and a limited set ofOD TLFs. The GM is calibrated using the limited OD data, but the OD data are not adequate to obtain good estimates of truck trip productions and attractions .. Consequently, zonal productions and attractions are estimated using zonal population as a first approximation. Then, Selected Link based (SELINK) analyses are used to adjust the productions and attractions and possibly recalibrate the GM. The SELINK adjustment process involves identifying the origins and destinations of all truck trips that are assigned to a specified "selected link" as the result of a standard traffic assignment. A link adjustment factor is computed as the ratio of the actual volume for the link (ground count) to the total assigned volume. This link adjustment factor is then applied to all of the origin and destination zones of the trips using that "selected link". Selected link based analyses are conducted by using both 16 selected links and 32 selected links. The result of SELINK analysis by u~ing 32 selected links provides the least %RMSE in the screenline volume analysis. In addition, the stability of the GM truck estimating model is preserved by using 32 selected links with three SELINK adjustments, that is, the GM remains calibrated despite substantial changes in the input productions and attractions. The coverage of zones provided by 32 selected links is satisfactory. Increasing the number of repetitions beyond four is not reasonable because the stability of GM model in reproducing the OD TLF reaches its limits. The total volume of truck traffic captured by 32 selected links is 107% of total trip productions. But more importantly, ~ELINK adjustment factors for all of the zones can be computed. Evaluation of the travel demand model resulting from the SELINK adjustments is conducted by using screenline volume analysis, functional class and route specific volume analysis, area specific volume analysis, production and attraction analysis, and Vehicle Miles of Travel (VMT) analysis. Screenline volume analysis by using four screenlines with 28 check points are used for evaluation of the adequacy of the overall model. The total trucks crossing the screenlines are compared to the ground count totals. L V/GC ratios of 0.958 by using 32 selected links and 1.001 by using 16 selected links are obtained. The %RM:SE for the four screenlines is inversely proportional to the average ground count totals by screenline .. The magnitude of %RM:SE for the four screenlines resulting from the fourth and last GM run by using 32 and 16 selected links is 22% and 31 % respectively. These results are similar to the overall %RMSE achieved for the 32 and 16 selected links themselves of 19% and 33% respectively. This implies that the SELINICanalysis results are reasonable for all sections of the state.Functional class and route specific volume analysis is possible by using the available 154 classification count check points. The truck traffic crossing the Interstate highways (ISH) with 37 check points, the US highways (USH) with 50 check points, and the State highways (STH) with 67 check points is compared to the actual ground count totals. The magnitude of the overall link volume to ground count ratio by route does not provide any specific pattern of over or underestimate. However, the %R11SE for the ISH shows the least value while that for the STH shows the largest value. This pattern is consistent with the screenline analysis and the overall relationship between %RMSE and ground count volume groups. Area specific volume analysis provides another broad statewide measure of the performance of the overall model. The truck traffic in the North area with 26 check points, the West area with 36 check points, the East area with 29 check points, and the South area with 64 check points are compared to the actual ground count totals. The four areas show similar results. No specific patterns in the L V/GC ratio by area are found. In addition, the %RMSE is computed for each of the four areas. The %RMSEs for the North, West, East, and South areas are 92%, 49%, 27%, and 35% respectively, whereas, the average ground counts are 481, 1383, 1532, and 3154 respectively. As for the screenline and volume range analyses, the %RMSE is inversely related to average link volume. 'The SELINK adjustments of productions and attractions resulted in a very substantial reduction in the total in-state zonal productions and attractions. The initial in-state zonal trip generation model can now be revised with a new trip production's trip rate (total adjusted productions/total population) and a new trip attraction's trip rate. Revised zonal production and attraction adjustment factors can then be developed that only reflect the impact of the SELINK adjustments that cause mcreases or , decreases from the revised zonal estimate of productions and attractions. Analysis of the revised production adjustment factors is conducted by plotting the factors on the state map. The east area of the state including the counties of Brown, Outagamie, Shawano, Wmnebago, Fond du Lac, Marathon shows comparatively large values of the revised adjustment factors. Overall, both small and large values of the revised adjustment factors are scattered around Wisconsin. This suggests that more independent variables beyond just 226; population are needed for the development of the heavy truck trip generation model. More independent variables including zonal employment data (office employees and manufacturing employees) by industry type, zonal private trucks 226; owned and zonal income data which are not available currently should be considered. A plot of frequency distribution of the in-state zones as a function of the revised production and attraction adjustment factors shows the overall " adjustment resulting from the SELINK analysis process. Overall, the revised SELINK adjustments show that the productions for many zones are reduced by, a factor of 0.5 to 0.8 while the productions for ~ relatively few zones are increased by factors from 1.1 to 4 with most of the factors in the 3.0 range. No obvious explanation for the frequency distribution could be found. The revised SELINK adjustments overall appear to be reasonable. The heavy truck VMT analysis is conducted by comparing the 1990 heavy truck VMT that is forecasted by the GM truck forecasting model, 2.975 billions, with the WisDOT computed data. This gives an estimate that is 18.3% less than the WisDOT computation of 3.642 billions of VMT. The WisDOT estimates are based on the sampling the link volumes for USH, 8TH, and CTH. This implies potential error in sampling the average link volume. The WisDOT estimate of heavy truck VMT cannot be tabulated by the three trip types, I-I, I-E ('||'&'||'pound;-I), and E-E. In contrast, the GM forecasting model shows that the proportion ofE-E VMT out of total VMT is 21.24%. In addition, tabulation of heavy truck VMT by route functional class shows that the proportion of truck traffic traversing the freeways and expressways is 76.5%. Only 14.1% of total freeway truck traffic is I-I trips, while 80% of total collector truck traffic is I-I trips. This implies that freeways are traversed mainly by I-E and E-E truck traffic while collectors are used mainly by I-I truck traffic. Other tabulations such as average heavy truck speed by trip type, average travel distance by trip type and the VMT distribution by trip type, route functional class and travel speed are useful information for highway planners to understand the characteristics of statewide heavy truck trip patternS. Heavy truck volumes for the target year 2010 are forecasted by using the GM truck forecasting model. Four scenarios are used. Fo~ better forecasting, ground count- based segment adjustment factors are developed and applied. ISH 90 '||'&'||' 94 and USH 41 are used as example routes. The forecasting results by using the ground count-based segment adjustment factors are satisfactory for long range planning purposes, but additional ground counts would be useful for USH 41. Sensitivity analysis provides estimates of the impacts of the alternative growth rates including information about changes in the trip types using key routes. The network'||'&'||'not;based GMcan easily model scenarios with different rates of growth in rural versus . . urban areas, small versus large cities, and in-state zones versus external stations. cities, and in-state zones versus external stations.

Adjuvant로 유발된 관절염의 흰쥐에서 초음파와 고전압 맥동 전류 치료의 효과 (Effects of Ultrasound and High-Voltage Pulsed Current on Adjuvant-Induced Arthritis in Rats)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of High-Voltage Pulsed Current (HVPC) and ultrasound on adjuvant-induced arthritis in rats. Adjuvant arthritis was induced in female Sprauge-Dawley rats by the subcutaneous injection of a single dose of $.1m{\ell}$ of Complete Freund's Adjuvant (CFA) (1 mg of Mycobacterium Butyricum suspended in $.1m{\ell}$ paraffin oil) into the right hind paw. A randomized, parallel-groups design of 24 subjects was used. All rats were randomly assigned to control (n=8), ultrasound (n=8), and HVPC (n=8) were compared with those of injured rats. The rats in the pulsed ultrasound group were treated at 1 MHz frequency with $.5W/cm^2$ intensity in 1:4 mode for 5 minutes per day. The rats in the HVPC group were treated at 120 pulses per second and $50{\mu}s$ phase duration, 20 mA intensity for 30 min per day. Treatment was done in the left and right hind limb for 2 weeks. We evaluated clinical, radiographic, hematologic and histopathologic findings before and after treatment and obtained the following results. 1. Edema of the right hind paw was more significantly reduced in the ultrasound and HVPC groups than the control group on days 9, 12, and 14 (p<.05). Edema of the left hind paw was more significantly reduced in ultrasound and HVPC groups than the control group on days 12, 14 (p<.05). 2. WBC counts of the ultrasound and HVPC groups as compared with the control group were becoming remarkably decreased after the treatment. 3. In radiologic findings, arthritis formation was seen according to the score of arthritis, which was the highest in the control group, upon the observation of radiographs of the left and right hind paws. However, no statistically significant difference was present in the score within three groups. 4. In the histopathologic findings, ultrasound and HVPC groups had effectively suppressed erosions of articular cartilage and inflammatory cell infiltrations. Therefore, the results of the study show that rats that were treated with the ultrasound and HVPC effectively suppressed adjuvant arthritis. However, no statistically significant difference was present between the ultrasound group and the HVPC group.

칼라 상관관계 역투영법을 적용한 효율적인 객체 지역화 기법 (Efficient Object Localization using Color Correlation Back-projection)

  • 이미지 내에서 객체를 검출하고 해당 위치를 추출하는 지역화 기법은 컴퓨터 비전에서 많이 활용되는 기술이다. 기존 연구들은 하나의 객체를 대상으로 위치 검출을 수행하지만, 실제 사진에서는 다수의 유사 객체를 포함하는 경우가 많기 때문에, 활용에 한계가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 이미지 인식을 위해 객체 지역화의 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안 알고리즘은 YCbCr 색채 성분에서 코렐로그램 역투영 기법을 활용하여 객체 지역화 문제를 해결한다. 제안 알고리즘에서는 질의 이미지의 객체가 포함되는 이미지의 위치를 검출할 수 있으며, 다수의 유사 객체가 존재할 경우 포함되는 객체 개수 정보 없이도 유사 후보 객체의 영역과 위치를 검출할 수 있다. 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 평가할 실험 결과, 기존에 연구된 방법에 비해, 21%의 성능 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 색상 코렐로그램이 히스토그램 기법보다 성능적 우위를 보였다. 본 논문의 주요 공헌은 색 공간과 공간-색상 정보를 통해 객체 지역화 문제를 해결할 수 있는 또다른 기술을 제시한 것으로 학문적 기여를 검증하였다.

Characterisation of fungal contamination sources for use in quality management of cheese production farms in Korea

  • Objective: This study was conducted to determine the composition and diversity of the fungal flora at various control points in cheese ripening rooms of 10 dairy farms from six different provinces in the Republic of Korea. Methods: Floor, wall, cheese board, room air, cheese rind and core were sampled from cheese ripening rooms of ten different dairy farms. The molds were enumerated using YM petrifilm, while isolation was done on yeast extract glucose chloramphenicol agar plates. Morphologically distinct isolates were identified using sequencing of internal transcribed spacer region. Results: The fungal counts in 8 out of 10 dairy farms were out of acceptable range, as per hazard analysis critical control point regulation. A total of 986 fungal isolates identified and assigned to the phyla Ascomycota (14 genera) and Basidiomycota (3 genera). Of these Penicillium, Aspergillus, and Cladosporium were the most diverse and predominant. The cheese ripening rooms was overrepresented in 9 farms by Penicillium (76%), while Aspergillus in a single farm. Among 39 species, the prominent members were Penicillium commune, P. oxalicum, P. echinulatum, and Aspergillus versicolor. Most of the mold species detected on surfaces were the same found in the indoor air of cheese ripening rooms. Conclusion: The environment of cheese ripening rooms persuades a favourable niche for mold growth. The fungal diversity in the dairy farms were greatly influenced by several factors (exterior atmosphere, working personnel etc.,) and their proportion varied from one to another. Proper management of hygienic and production practices and air filtration system would be effective to eradicate contamination in cheese processing industries.

백서에서 혈소판 풍부 혈장의 제작과 유효성에 대한 실험적 연구 (FABRICATION OF PLATELET-RICH PLASMA IN A RAT MODEL AND THE EFFICACY TEST IN VITRO)

  • Purpose: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is known to accelerate and/or enhance hard and soft tissue healing and regeneration. As such, PRP has been used in various clinical fields of surgery. Recently there have been several attempts to use PRP in the field of tissue engineering. However, some controversies still exist on exact mechanism and benefits of PRP. Therefore various animal experiments are necessary to reveal the effect of the PRP. However, even if animal experiment is performed, the efficacy of the experiment could not be validated due to absence of an animal PRP model. The purpose of this study is to establish rat PRP model by comparing several PRP fabricating methods, and to assay growth factor concentration in the PRP. Materials and methods: Rat blood samples were collected from nine SD rat (body weight: 600-800g). PRP was prepared using three different PRP fabricating methods according to previously reported literatures. (Method 1: 800 rpm, 15 minute, single centrifuge; Method 2: 1000 rpm, 10 minute, double centrifuge; Method 3: 3000 rpm, 4min and 2500 rpm, 8 min, double centrifuge). Platelet counts were evaluated in an automated machine before and after PRP fabrications. In terms of growth factor assay, prepared PRP were activated with 100 unit thrombin and 10% calcium chloride. Growth factor (PDGF-BB, VEGF) concentrations on incubation time were determined by sandwich-ELISA technique. Results: An average of 3ml (via infraorbital venous plexus) to 15ml (via celiac axis) the rat blood could be collected. By using Method 3 (3000 rpm, 4 min and 2500 rpm, 8 min, double centrifugation), around 1.5ml of PRP could be prepared. This method allowed us to concentrate platelet 3.77-fold on average. PDGF-BB concentration (mean, 1942.10 pg/ml after 1 hour incubation) and VEGF concentration (mean, 952.71 pg/ml after 1 hour incubation) in activated PRP were higher than those in untreated blood. Also PDGF-BB showed constant concentration during 4-hour incubation, while VEGF concentration was decreased after 1 hour. Conclusion: Total 11,000 g minute separation and condensation double centrifuge method can produce efficient platelet-rich plasma. Platelet-rich plasma activated with thrombin has showed higher concentrations of growth factors such as PDGF-BB and VEGF, compared to the control group. Platelet-rich plasma model in a rat model was confirmed in this study.

오존수 및 염소수 세척이 신선편이 당근의 품질 및 미생물억제에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Ozonated Water and Chlorine Water Wash on the Quality and Microbial De-contamination of Fresh-cut Carrot Shreds)

  • 신선편이 당근채 세척시 오존수 사용에 의한 품질 및 안전성 향상 효과를 구명하기 위해 연구를 수행하였다. 세척 당근을 절단한 뒤 100ppm의 염소수에 1, 2회 세척 및 오존발생장치에서 공급되는 초기 오존수 농도 2ppm에서 1,5, 20분 세척한 뒤 $O_{2}$ 투과율 $29.2pmol{\cdot}s^{-1}{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}Pa^{-1}$ 필름으로 포장하여 $5^{\circ}C$에서 3주간 저장되었다. 당근채의 오존수 세척처리는 저장 중 포장내부의 기체 조성, 당근채의 품질 및 미생물 수에 영향을 미쳤다. 오존수 20분 처리는 당근채 저장 중 $CO_{2}$ 농도가 낮고, 경도가 높았으며, 백화지수(WI), 이취발생 및 미생물 수가 적어 가장 높은 관능점수를 나타내며 저장 3주까지 상품성을 유지하였다. 그러나 염소수 1회 세척은 비록 미생물 수는 오존수 20분 처리와 함께 낮게 나타났으나 품질에 있어서 상대적으로 WI와 이취발생이 높아 오존수 20분 보다 품질변화가 심하였다. 따라서 오존수 20분 처리는 신선편이 당근채의 염소 세척을 대체할 수 있는 방법으로 판단되었다.

승/감산 연산방법의 개선 및 PTL회로설계 기법을 이용한 저전력 MAC의 구현 (An Implementation of Low Power MAC using Improvement of Multiply/Subtract Operation Method and PTL Circuit Design Methodology)

  • 시스템 설계의 각 단계에서 저전력 설계기법을 적용하여 8×8+20비트의 MAC을 설계하였다. 알고리듬레벨에서는 MAC의 중요한 명령어 중의 하나인 승/감산연산을 위한 하드웨어의 설계에서 기존의 방식에 비하여 트랜지스터를 감소할 수 있는 새로운 기법을 제안하였으며, 회로 레벨에서는 동일한 로직을 CMOS로 구현한 경우보다 PDP(power-delay-product) 측면에서 우수한 성능을 가지는 NMOS pass-transistor 로직으로 구성된 새로운 Booth 셀렉터 회로를 제안하였다. 구조 레벨에서 최종단 덧셈기는 전력소모, 동작속도, 면적, 설계 규칙성 측면에서 가장 우수한 ELM 덧셈기를 사용하였고, 레지스터는 비트당 트랜지스터의 수가 적은 동적 CMOS 단일모서리 천이 플립플롭을 적용하였다. 동작속도를 높이기 위한 방법으로는 2단 파이프라인 구조를 적용했으며, Wallace 트리 블록에 고속 4:2 압축기를 이용하였다. 0.6㎛ 단일폴리, 삼중금속 CMOS 공정으로 설계된 MAC은 모의실험 결과 곱셈 연산시 최대 200㎒ 3.3V에서 35㎽의 전력을 소모하였고, MAC 연산시 최대 100㎒에서 29㎽의 전력을 소모하였다.

전통장류 유래 Bacillus sp.를 이용한 콩 발효물의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Fermented Soybean Products by Bacillus sp. Isolated from Traditional Soybean Paste)

  • 전통 장류 유래 효소 활성 및 항균 활성 우수 Bacillus sp.를 스타터로 한 콩 발효물의 품질 특성을 분석하였다. 총균수는 HJ5-2를 접종한 시료가 $3.00{\times}10^9CFU/mL$로 가장 높았으며, 유산균은 스타터 첨가 콩 발효물에서 $2.50{\times}10^2{\sim}7.30{\times}10^4CFU/mL$를 나타나는 것으로 보아 접종된 균주가 우점종이 된 것을 확인하였다. ${\alpha}$-Amylase 활성은 RD7-7(20.82 unit/mL)과 HJ18-4(18.45 unit/mL), protease 활성은 RD7-7(647.92 unit/mL)을 접종한 콩 발효물이 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 환원당 함량은 HJ18-4(2.35%), 아미노태 질소 함량은 RD7-7(227.96 mg%) 접종 콩 발효물에서 높은 함량을 나타내었다. 아미노산 함량은 glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, lysine, arginine 순으로 검출되었다. 유기산은 oxalic acid(36.51~63.57 mg/100 g)가 모든 실험군에서 검출되었으며, succinic acid(600.15~429.49 mg/100 g)는 control과 RD7-7 접종 콩 발효물에서 검출되었다. 향기 성분을 분석한 결과 총 28종(esters 3종, ketones 6종, aldehydes 2종, alcohols 4종, hydrocarbons 2종, pyrazines 2종, acids 4종, 기타 4종)이 검출되었으며, RD7-7과 HJ18-4를 접종한 콩 발효물에서 23종의 향기 성분이 검출되었다. 본 연구는 고품질 장류용 스타터 개발을 위한 단일균 접종 콩 적용 시험으로 향후 혼합배양 스타터 개발 및 기능성 콩 발효소재 개발을 위한 기초자료로 제시하고자 한다.
