심혈관계 시뮬레이터의 연구동향 (Review of Simulators for Cardiovascular System)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to review the simulator for cardiovascular system. Methods & Results: Simulators were classified according to the structure and function of cardiovascular system. Heart and blood vessel were selected as the represent of structure. Blood pressure and blood flow were chose as the functional index. With the view points of four keywords, four kinds of simulators were selected: artificial heart, pressure simulator, flow simulator, and pulse simulator. Conclusions: This paper discussed the state of the art of research and development of the selected four kinds of simulators.

  • The importance on the simulation of earth observation optical payloads has been recently emphasized in order to estimate on-orbit imaging performance of the payloads. The estimation should consider all aspects of payload development; design, manufacture, test, assembly, launch and space environment. Until recently several studies have been focused the evaluation of the individual factors rather than the integrated. This paper presents the development of an integrated payload simulator. The simulator analyzes the payload imaging performance based on MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) calculations of the major factors (Diffraction, Aberration, Detector integration, Image motion and etc.) and the simulator can generate realistic artificial earth images as taken by defined earth observation payloads. The simulator is developed for the use of evaluating pre- and post-launch imaging performance and assisting on-board calibration of COMPSAT-3.

  • A severe accident training simulator that can simulate important severe accident phenomena and nuclear plant behaviors is developed. The simulator also provides several interactive control devices, which are helpful to assess results of a particular accident management behavior. A simple and direct dynamic linked library (DLL) data communication method is used for the development of the simulator. Using the DLL method, various control devices were implemented to provide an interactive control function during simulation. Finally, a training model is suggested for accident mitigation training and its performance is verified through application runs.

  • This paper presents a development of the auxiliary power supply simulator for a electric rolling stock. An auxiliary power supplies are required for operating air conditioning units, ventilation fans, lighting and battery charging. Traditionally this function has been fulfilled by Motor-Alternator sets. In recent years, high performance of semiconductor and micro processor, availability and price have made three phase voltage source inverters as an attractive alternative to MA Sets. From the baseline model of the SIV(Static InVerter) for electric rolling stock, we designed the scale down model of the auxiliary power supply simulator consisting of an IGBT three phase voltage source inverter. The auxiliary power supply simulator can be used educatory purpose for training efficiently about operating principles of SIV.

  • This paper presents the configuration of simulator for the functional test of TCMS on developing. This simulator is composed of three cabinets. There is equipped the TCMS system which have the same configuration of 1 train(SMG Line 7&8) on the two cabinets. And there are equipped VME PC, VME CPU Board and I/F modules on the rest cabinet. This simulator has tow parts, which are user I/F part and Real-time signal processing part. We programed user I/F part with Visual C++ to support GUI function, and signal processing part with RTOS to support Real-Time signal processing. This simulator can produce all the signal and data for the TCMS functional testing.

  • AS THE POWER SYSTEM BECOMES LARGER AND MORE COMPLICATED, THE NUMBER OF UNEXPLAINABLE FAULTS IS INCREASING. IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN THESE FAULTS, NUMEROUS AND VARIOUS DATA ARE NEEDED. BUT THESE DATA ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE FROM THE FIELD TEST, SO SHOULD BE OBTAINED FROM THE SIMULATOR WHICH CAN SIMULATE THE POWER SYSTEM EXACTLY AND EASILY. IN THIS PAPER, A DIGITAL SIMULATOR WHICH IS APPROPRIATE FOR THIS PURPOSE IS DEVELOPED. THIS SIMULATOR IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS : DIGITAL SIMULATION PART, D/A CONVERSION AND CONTROL PART AND AMPLIFIER PART. AND, THE FUNCTION OF THE SIMULATOR AND THE FUTURE RESEARCH AREA ARE DISCUSSED.

A Simulator for Potential Distribution Analysis

  • This paper proposes a reduced-scale simulator that can replace numerical analytic methods for the estimation of potential distribution caused by ground faults in various grounding systems. The simulator consists of a hemispherical electrolytic tank, a three-dimensional potential probe, a grounding electrode, and a data acquisition module. The potential distribution is measured using a potentiometer with a position-tracing function when a test current flows to the grounding electrode. Using the simulator, we could clearly analyze the potential distribution for a reduced- scale model by one-eightieth of the buried depth and length of the grounding rod and grounding grid. Once both the shape of the grounding electrode and the fault current are known, the actual potential distribution can be estimated.

  • This paper include the results of the software interface design for the ground vehicle simulators. This design allows us to upgrade the simulator easily by exchanging the engineering model when we need to change the function of algorithm or data of a simulator. That is because a main part of simulator is composed of reusable model.

  • As well-known, fuzzy control has been recognized to be of great usefulness in many engineering fields. However, the present design methods of fuzzy control systems depend on trial and error the thing that limits its usefulness. Therefore, an effective and convenient support tools for design and evaluation are greatly needed as well as the establishment of the design methods and guidling. From these backgrounds, we have developed a fuzzy control simulator[1, 2] which has various fuzzy control methods such as "direct method", "indirect method" and "fuzzy-PID method". This paper deals especially with the "direct method" function of the simulator. The simulator was developed for personal computers and programed in C language.

  • In this paper, it is to development of brake system with ABS function for aircraft. The test of brake system is required before applying on aircraft. The real-time dynamic simulator with 5-D.O.F. aircraft dynamic model is developed for braking performance test of ABS (Anti-skid Brake System) control h/w with anti-skid brake functions. The dynamic simulator is real-time interface system that is composed of dynamic simulation parts, master control parts, digital and analog in/out interface parts, and user interface parts. The 5-D.O.F. aircraft dynamic model is composed of a big contour and a little contour by simulation s/w. The big contour represents the interactions of forces in airframe, nose and main landing gear, and engines on the center of gravity. The little contour represents interactions of wheel, braking units, hydraulic units and a control unit. ABS control h/w unit with ABS control algorithm is also developed and is tested with simulator under the some conditions of gripping coefficient. We have known that ABS control h/w unit on wet or snowy runway as well as dry runway very well protects wheel skid.
