지열 이용 외기부하 저감시스템의 냉각 및 가열효과 예측 간이추정법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Simplified Presumption Method for the Prediction of Cooling and Heating Performance in a Fresh Air Load Reduction System by Using Geothermal Energy)

  • This paper presents a feasibility study of a fresh air load reduction system by using an underground double floor space. The fresh air is introduced into the double slab space and passes through the opening bored into the footing beam. The air is cooled by the heat exchange with the inside surface of the double slab space in summer, and heated in winter. This system not only reduces sensible heat load of the fresh air by heat exchange with earth but also reduces latent heat load of the fresh air by ad/de-sorption of underground double slab concrete. In this paper, we proposed a simplified presumption method for the prediction of cooling and heating performance in the system. In conclusion the proposed method has been verified by comparing with the calculated value of the numerical analysis model by using nonlinear two-dimension hygroscopic question.

고려인삼(Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer)의 간이법에 의한 홍삼제조 및 사포닌 성분분석 (Saponin Analysis and Red Ginseng Production using the Simplified Method of Korean Ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer))

  • 홍삼 제조공정을 단순화하면서 효율적으로 유효성분을 증대시키기 위해서 4년근 수삼을 구입하여 깨끗이 수세한 후 $96-98^{\circ}C$에 3시간 정도 수증기로 증삼한 후 30시간 정도 열풍건조하여 홍삼제조를 위한 간이법을 개발하였다. 제조한 홍삼으로부터 홍삼엑스($60^{\circ}$ brix 이상)를 제조하였으며 홍삼엑스의 추출수율은 60% 이상이었다. 간이법으로 제조한 홍삼을 재료로 하여 농축한 홍삼엑스의 사포닌 함량을 조사하기 위해서 HPLC를 이용하여 총 사포닌(total saponin)을 분석하였다. 그 결과 PD계 사포닌 중 암세포전이억제효과와 평활근이완작용이 탁월한 ginsenoside-Rg3에는 H사에 비하여 2배 이상 검출되었으며, 간상해 억제작용과 혈소판 응집억제작용이 있는 것으로 알려진 ginsenoside-Rh1종의 경우 3배 이상 검출이 되었다.

Simplified P-M interaction curve model for reinforced concrete columns exposed to standard fire

  • In the authors' previous study, an axial force-flexural moment (P-M) interaction curve model was proposed to evaluate fire-resisting performances of reinforced concrete (RC) column members. The proposed method appeared to properly consider the axial and flexural strength degradations including the secondary moment effects in RC columns due to fire damage. However, the detailed P-M interaction curve model proposed in the authors' previous study requires somewhat complex computational procedures and iterative calculations, which makes it difficult to be used for practical design in its current form. Thus, the aim of this study was to develop a simplified P-M interaction curve model of RC columns exposed to fire considering the effects of fire damage on the material performances and magnitudes of secondary moments. The simplified P-M interaction model proposed in this study was verified using 66 column fire test results collected from literature, and the verification results showed that the proposed simplified method can provide an adequate analysis accuracy of the failure loads and fire-resisting times of the RC column specimens.

Simplified Estimation Method for Collective Uncertainty-Propagations of Hysteretic Energy Dissipating Device's Properties

  • Hysteretic energy dissipating devices (HEDDs) have been increasingly applied to building construction to improve the seismic performance. The seismic responses of such damped structures are significantly affected by HEDD's structural properties. An accurate investigation on the propagation of HEDD's structural properties is required for reasonable evaluation of the seismic performance of a structure. This study aims to develop simplified methods that can estimate the collective uncertainty-propagation to the seismic response of damped structures employing HEDDs. To achieve this, three- and six-story steel moment-resisting frames were selected and the propagations of the individual HEDD's property-uncertainties were evaluated when they are subjected to various levels of seismic demand. Based on the result of individual uncertainty-propagations, a simplified method is proposed to evaluate the variation of seismic response collectively propagated by HEDD's property-uncertainties and is verified by comparing with the exact collective uncertainty-propagation calculated using the Monte Carlo simulation method. The proposed method, called as a modified SRSS method in this study, is established from a conventional square root of the sum of the squares (SRSS) method with the relative contributions of the individual HEDD's property-uncertainty propagations. This study shows that the modified SRSS method provides a better estimation than the conventional SRSS method and can significantly reduce computational time with reasonable accuracy compared with the Monte Carlo simulation method.

폭발해석을 위한 간략 폭발하중 제안식 (A Suggestion of Simplified Load Formula for Blast Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 폭발해석에서 주로 사용되는 폭발하중의 압력-시간 이력곡선과 폭발하중 산정식인 Conwep 모델을 소개하고, 이를 더욱 간편하게 계산할 수 있는 간략 폭발하중 산정식을 제안한다. 폭발해석에서 폭발하중은 일반적으로 압력-시간 이력곡선의 형태로 적용되며, 그에 대한 주요 값들은 폭발하중 산정식에 의해 계산된다. 대부분의 폭발해석에서 사용되는 폭발하중 산정식인 Conwep 모델은 환산거리(scaled distance)를 핵심변수로 하여 계산되는데, 그 계산 과정이 매우 복잡한 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 환산거리를 변수로 갖는 간략한 유리식을 사용하여 주요 값들을 계산하고, 단순화된 압력-시간 이력곡선으로 폭발하중을 산정할 수 있도록 제안하였다. 간략식을 찾는 과정에서 Conwep 모델의 계산 결과를 바탕으로 곡선 적합(curve fitting) 방식이 사용되었으며, 제안된 간략식에 의한 주요 값의 계산 결과는 Conwep 모델과 비교하여 1% 미만의 오차를 갖는다. 또한, 유한요소를 이용한 폭발해석에 적용하였으며 Conwep 모델을 적용한 결과와 비교를 통해 검증하였다.

  • Torque of an induction motor is generally calculated by simplified equivalent circuit. However, the torque has an error since it is calculated by simplified equivalent circuit. In this paper, stator and rotor currents, torque, efficiency, and power factor are derived from the equivalent circuit of an induction motor using mesh analysis method. Then, they are compared with those calculated from simplified equivalent circuit.

  • 레이저 다이오드단면의 최적 무반사 코팅 조건을 활성층 두께의 함수로써 세가지 간단한 수치해석 방법을 사용하여 계산하였다. 세가지 간단한 수치해석 방법을 사용하여 얻은 결과가 서로 가른 것은 각 방법에서 사용한 레이저 다이오드내의 유효 굴절율이 다르기 때문이다. 또한 간단한 수치해석 방법의 정확성을 검토하기위하여 정확한 수치해석 결과와 그 결과들을 비교하였다. 레이저 다이오드의 유효 굴절율이 도과모드를 구성하는 각 편면파의 입사간도에 따라 변해 굴절율이 도파모드를 구성하는 각 평면파의 입사각도 따라 변화하도록 설정한 방법이 TE와 TM 모드에 대해서 또 활성층 굴절율과 클래딩층의 굴절율차가 작은 경우 클 경우 각각에 대하여 정확한 수치해석 결과와 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper is focused on a simplified measurement of rail irregularity by some axle-box accelerometers for high-speed rail condition monitoring with in-service high-speed trains. Generally, the rail condition monitoring has been done by a special railway inspection vehicle with a 10m versine method. But, the monitoring method needs some expensive measurement system, and have been performed only at night due to its speed limit. In this research, a simplified measurement of rail irregularity using axle-box accelerometers is proposed to monitor the rail condition with in-service high-speed trains. The acceleration is measured by using two accelerometers on a axle-box, and stored in an on-board data acquisition system. The displacement is estimated from the acceleration data by a combination of Kalman filter and the frequency selective filter. The estimated results are compared with the measurement from a laser rail inspection system which is near the axle-box. From the comparison, the proposed method shows promise as a tool for the simplified measurement of rail irregularity at high-speed.

  • 본 논문은 철근콘크리트 보의 시간의존적 거동인 크리이프 변형의 산정에 관한 것으로 크리이프 Compliance 함수의 1차 순환적 단계 알고리즘에 토대를 둔 적층단면법에 대하여 논의하였으며, 단면의 평형조건과 적합조건으로부터 구조물의 크리이프 변형을 쉽게 예측할 수 있는 간략 해석법을 제안하였다. 여러 실험치와 기존 해석방법 및 설계 규준과의 비교를 통해 제안된 해석모델의 효율성을 검증하였고, 적층단면법을 사용한 다양한 해석을 통해 단면의 형상, 철근비의 변화 및 균열의 유무에 따른 구조물의 시간의존적 거동에 비교 및 분석되었다.

  • A simplified method for earthquake response analysis of a rectangular liquid storage tank is proposed with fluid-structure interaction considered. In order to simplify the complex three-dimensional structural behavior of a rectangular liquid storage tank, it is assumed that structural deformation does not occur in the plane parallel to the direction in which the earthquake ground motion is applied but in the plane perpendicular to the direction. The structural deformation is approximated by combining the natural modes of the simple beam and the cantilever beam. The hydrodynamic pressure, the structure's mass and stiffness, and the hydrodynamic pressure's added mass are derived by applying the Rayleigh-Ritz method. The natural frequency, structural deformation, pressure, effective mode mass, and effective mode height of the rectangular liquid storage tank are obtained. The structural displacement, hydrodynamic pressure, base shear, and overturning moment are calculated. The seismic response analysis of an example rectangular liquid storage tank is performed using the proposed simplified approach, and its accuracy is verified by comparing the results with the reference solution by the finite element method. Existing seismic design codes based on the hydrodynamic pressure in rigid liquid storage tanks are observed to produce results with significant errors that cannot be ignored.
