An efficient architecture for the reduction of complexity in forward quantization of H.264/AVC is presented in this paper. Since the multiplication operation in forward quantization plays crucial role in complexity of algorithm. More efficient quantization architecture with simplified high speed multiplier is proposed. It uses the modification of the quantization operation and the high speed multiplier is applied for simplification of quantization process.

The aim of this paper is to develop a procedure able to calculate the long-term stress and strain patterns in modern prestressed composite structures which are largely influenced by creep and shrinkage and whose final static configuration is the result of many phases of loading and restraints conditions. The introduction of equivalent moduli, depending on the viscous and elastic features of materials, can guarantee a significant simplification of the problem presented above. The proposed calculation model has been used to design the "Quattroquercie Viaduct" located on the highway "A3" Salerno-Reggio Calabria, Italy.

In this study, it can be identified that drawing style of cartoon and fashion illustration are mutually linked and interchanged. The common background of drawing style between cartoon and fashion illustration, is as follows; 1. A means of image communication through mass communication 2. Similarities as visual signs 3. The borderless of painting, illustration and cartoon. 4. Usage of common drawing expressions such as deformation, distortion, exaggeration, metaphor, metonymy. Drawing style interchanging between cartoon and fashion illustration, is as follows; 1. Similar to figure and face are contemporary style, similar figure, Anime style and humourous style. 2. Similar to the way of express is focusing on the line, simplification, mixed computer graphics with hand drawing, artistic expression, the way of multimedia.

In this paper. the effects of the aspect ratio on the natural frequency of the advanced composite road structures is studied. The advanced composite structures are too difficult for such design engineers for construction and some simple but accurate enough methods are necessary. Some laminate orientations have decreasing values of $D_{16}$, $B_{16}$, $D_{26}$ and $B_{26}$ stiffnesses as the ply number increases. The plate aspect ratio considered is from 1 to 5. Most of the road structures have large aspect ratios, for such cases further simplification is possible by neglecting the effect of the longitudinal moment terms.

The most of the design engineers for construction has academic background of bachelors degree. Theories for advanced composite structures are too difficult for such engineers and some simple but accurate enough methods are necessary. The senior author has reported that some laminate orientations have decreasing values of D$_{16}$, B$_{16}$, D$_{26}$ and B$_{26}$ stiffnesses as the ply number increases. Such plates behave as special orthotropic plates and simple formulas developed by the author can be used. Most of the bridge and building slabs on girders have large aspect ratios. For such cases further simplification is possible by neglecting the effect of the longitudinal moment terms(M$_{x}$) on the relevant partial differential equations of equilibrium. In this paper, the result of the study on the subject problem is presented.ented.d.

In order to analyse the thermal performance of battery systems in electric vehicles complex simulation models with high computational cost are necessary. Using reduced order methods, real-time applicable model can be developed and used for on-board monitoring. In this work a data driven model of the cooling plate as part of the battery system is built and derived from a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model. The aim of this paper is to create a meta model of the cooling plate that estimates the temperature at the boundary for different heat flow rates, mass flows and inlet temperatures of the cooling fluid. In order to do so, the cooling plate is simulated in a CFD software (ANSYS Fluent ®). A data driven model is built using the design of experiment (DOE) and various approximation methods in Optimus ®. The model can later be combined with a reduced model of the thermal battery system. The assumption and simplification introduced in this paper enable an accurate representation of the cooling plate with a real-time applicable model.

A resource management system of for the paper-bag product company was made. The objective of the system is computering the hand writing management process to improve the performance of working process of the small company. For this, some programming and design strategies were made such as the simplification, ease to use, similarity with old system and object oriented concept. It is expected to reduce burdens and errors of hand writing and improve the efficiencies of small company.

Purpose - This study aims to disclose the problems of both the government and the logistics industry regarding fourth-party logistics, and to provide various solutions at the level of enterprises as well as the government for the introduction of fourth-party logistics in China. Research design, data, and methodology - This study aims to reveal how a shipping company recognizes the creation of partnerships with fourth-party logistics providers, and it reveals several related implications. Results - Fourth-party logistics organizations can be used to achieve maximum business performance as professional logistics companies by incorporating the benefits of outsourcing and insourcing. Outsourcing logistics services through focusing on core competencies and improving customer service can have financial effects and advantages such as the simplification of labor issues. Conclusions - This study did not investigate Korean enterprises through an empirical analysis and provided fourth-party logistics concepts and promotional plans according to domestic and foreign literature. Further studies shall investigate not only the Korean fourth-party logistics model but also the training of logistics professionals to generate profits for both shippers as well as logistics enterprises.

With the improvement of industrial society, the high quality electrical energy, simplification of operation and maintenance, ensuring reliability are being required Also we request urgently change a $SF_6$ for an environment friendly gas insulation material. In this paper the experiments of breakdown characteristics by pressure and gap change of Imitation-Air in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. Also assess of breakdown characteristics about Imitation-Air and $SF_6$. It is considered in this paper that the results are fundamental data for electric insulation design of Distribution Power Facilities which will be studied and developed in the future.

In this study, the modification structure design of insulation displacement connector developed was considered for simplification of assembly process. The modified connector consisted terminal, wafer and fitting nails. The separation behavior under locking condition for pitch 1.25mm wire to board connector was measured and the apparatus for the test was made. The maximum restraining force was measured about 4.5kgf that was bigger value than the specification limit. And the pulling force of a wire was also indicated about 2.3kgf.
