This paper presents a PWM dc-ac converter regulation using a Single Input Fuzzy PI Controller (SIFPIC). The SIFPIC is derived from the signed distanced method, which is a simplification of a conventional fuzzy controller. The simplification results in a one-dimensional rule table, that allows its control surface to be approximated by a piecewise linear relationship. The controller multi-loop structure is comprised of an outer voltage and an inner current feedback loop. To verify the performance of the SIFPIC, a low power PWM dc-ac converter prototype is constructed and the proposed control algorithm is implemented. The experimental results show that the SIFPIC performance is comparable to a conventional Fuzzy PI controller, but with a much reduced computation time.

This study carries out the performance improvement and simplification of hydraulic modulator that plays an important role in vehicle stability control systems. The mathematical models for each component of a modulator, such as pump, wheel cylinder, check and solenoid valve, accumulator, damper are derived in detail. All the mathematical models are combined to form a modulator system and implemented through a computer program, which can be controlled by a user friendly GUI. To verity the simulation, comparison between simulation and experiments has been made. After the verification of the validity of the simulation, the effects of the design parameters of the modulator on the wheel cylinder pressure is investigated. The results show that the modulator without MPA has advantage in early time pressure rise rate, and it can be simplified.

Recently, vector map has developed, used in many domains, and in most cases vector map data contains confidential information which must be kept away from unauthorized users. Moreover, the manufacturing process of a vector map is complex and the maintenance of a digital map requires substantial monetary and human resources. This paper presents the selective encryption scheme based on polyline simplification methods for GIS vector map data protection to store, transmit or distribute to authorized users. Main advantages of our algorithm are random vertices and transformation processes but it still meets requirements of security by random processes, and this algorithm can be implement to many types of vector map formats.

Air logistics is getting growing continuously because customers need to increase rapidity and accuracy, but it isn't enough to study the process about air logistics in South Korea. We analyze the AS-IS process and problems by studying previous documents and researching in this field. We offer how to adopt the ways that are solutions concerning AS-IS process and benchmarking e-freight of IATA. Our suggestion reduces stakehoders' work load by using integrated system. We believe it will contribute to improve air logistics process by making simple the process.

A 3D FEM (Finite Element Method) based Helmholtz solver has been commonly used to characterize fundamental acoustic behavior and investigate dynamic instability features in many combustion systems. In this approach, a geometrical simplification of the target system has been generally made in order to reduce computational time and cost because a real combustor and fuel nozzle have a very complicated flow passage. The feasibility of these simplifications is quantitatively investigated in a small aero gas turbine nozzle in term of acoustic characteristics. It is found that the simplification in a nozzle geometry during the 3D FEM analysis process has no great influence on the acoustic modeling results, while the calculation complexity can be improved for a similar modeling accuracy.

최근 공공 및 국가 기관 등의 조직에서 다양한 정보보호 제품을 설치, 운영함으로써 안전한 시스템을 구축하고 있다. 이러한 제품의 보안성 평가를 위해 공통평가기준을 요구하고 있지만 비용과 시간적 측면에서 문제가 발생함에 따라 기업의 제품 출시 시기 및 개발 투자에 대한 어려움이 증가되고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 국내 평가 서비스와 해외의 평가 서비스 제도를 비교 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 비용과 시간적 측면의 효율성을 제공하는 간소화된 정보보호제품 평가 방안을 제안한다.

일반적으로 삼각형 메쉬는 가상 게임 캐릭터와 같은 기하학적 객체를 모델링하기 위해 사용되고 있다. 아주 조밀한 메쉬는 복잡한 객체를 세부적으로 표현하는 장점은 있지만 객체를 저장, 전송 및 렌더링하는데 많은 비용을 요구한다. 그러므로 세밀한 객체를 질 좋게 근사시킬 수 있는 기법, 즉 삼각형 메쉬의 단순화가 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 주어진 메쉬를 단순화하기 위해 사용될 수 있는 정점과 에지에 관한 근사 평균 곡률이라는 새로운 측정치를 제시한다. 에지 평균 곡률은 이웃한 에지를 고려하게 계산되고 정점 평균 곡률은 부속된 에지의 평균 곡률의 평균으로 정의된다. 그리고 제안된 측정치를 토끼, 용 및 치아와 같은 모델에 적용한다. 결과로, 제안된 평균 곡률이 주어진 모델에 더 좋은 근사를 제공하기 위한 좋은 기준치로 사용될 수 있음을 알았다.

본 논문에서는 면 축약 방식을 이용하면서 3D 모델의 체적이 보존되는 메쉬 간략화 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 면 축약은 축약 대상 삼각형의 세 정점을 새로운 정점 하나로 모아 한 번에 4개의 면을 제거함으로써 에지 축약에 비해 빠른 간략화를 수행하는 방식이다. 어떤 방식이든 어느 면 또는 에지부터 축약할 것인가 하는 간략화 우선순위 척도가 매우 중요한데, 본 논문에서는 면 축약에 있어서 최근 제시되었던 한 방법의 문제점을 지적하고 이를 보완한 새로운 가중치 함수를 사용하여 축약 우선순위를 결정하였다. 또한 축약 대상 삼각형들을 대신할 새로운 한 정점을 결정하는데 있어서 체적이 보존되면서 삼각형 세 정점 주변의 곡률 차이 등을 반영할 수 있는 체적 기준점을 결정하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 본 논문에서 제시한 방식이 체적을 보존하면서 기존의 다른 방식에 비해 뒤지지 않는 축약 성능을 보여주는 것을 확인하였다.

세계 여러 나라들은 전통문화를 바탕으로 국익증진과 경쟁력 향상을 위해 문화콘텐츠의 개발 및 홍보방식에 새로운 변화와 개혁을 추진하고 있다. 또한, 국민의 생활수준과 삶의 질이 높아짐에 따라 전통 문화의 향유를 위한 다양한 요구가 증가하고 있으며, 문화재 환경이 갈수록 복잡하고 다양해지면서 체계적인 관리와 보존 방안이 필요하다. 이러한 관점에서 웹을 이용한 지형공간정보 제공서비스는 위성사진이나 지형, 3D 뷰잉 등 다양한 형태의 서비스를 제공함으로써 사용자가 특정지역의 구체적 공간정보를 얻을 수 있도록 하고 있다. 특히, 3D 모델링을 이용한 지형공간정보는 구축비용이나 운용, 유지의 어려움 때문에 국한된 공간에서만 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전통 건축물 및 문화관광 자원을 3D 객체 단순화를 통해 구글어스에 효과적으로 업로딩하기 위한 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
