The stability analysis for the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) has widely been reported. Furthermore many research in the FLC has been introduced to decrease the number of parameters representing the antecedent part of the fuzzy control rule. In this paper we briefly explain a single-input fuzzy logic controller (SFLC) or simple-structured FLC which uses only a single input variable. And then we analyze that it is absolutely stale based on the sector bounded condition. We also show the feasibility of the proposed stability analysis through a numerical example of a mass-damper-spring system.

This paper is about the design of half-bridge inverter controller with low cost and simple configuration for low power single-phase induction motor driving. The simple controller is composed of MCU and PLD. Also, to limit the overcurrent at initial driving, auxiliary function is added, and stabilizes the system. In order to verify the performance of the proposed methode, we design 500W inverter system, and in result, the response time of the proposed method compared with line voltage driving method is reduced by 200[msec].

A simple protocol for the detection of opines, cucumopines and mikimopines using a general horizontal or vertical get electrophoresis system for protein or DNA separation in the laboratory are demonstrated. This electrophoresis method can also be applied to other opines as long as correct detection reagent and buffer system are used.

In this paper we deal with approximate controllability for semilinear system in a Hilbert space. In order to obtain the controllability, we assume that the system of the generalized eigenspaces of the principal operator is complete in the state space, which has a simple form and can be applied to many examples. Because of its simple form, some examples of controllability of the systems governed by the semilinear equations will be given.

In this paper,the more accurate and simple synchronous machine model is derived by parameter modification method. At first, the flux linkage state space model is composed by redefining the parameters of synchronous machine and considering the saturation effect approximately. After that, this modified model is apply to the power system model and the effects of power system stability is analyzed by this model's characteristics in fault condition. As the result, the modified synchronous machine model shows more accurate and simple than the privious one.

Many livings form groups which we consider as collective systems. The collective motion of the group shows various dynamics and patterns, and many model equations are proposed to explain such phenomenon. In our previous work, We proposed simple deterministic model which shows various types of group behaviors. In this paper, we modify it in order to apply to a real robotic system. Here we assume that the space resolution of each robot´s sensors is low and that the sensors detect the nearest robots. It was confirmed the robots with modified model also shows various types of motion.

One of the drawbacks in an OFDM system is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Among a number of techniques to reduce the high PAPR, simple amplitude predistortion (SAP), a form of active constellation extension, has been proposed to effectively achieve the desired PAPR. In this letter, a novel scheme, simple amplitude and phase predistortion (SAPP), is proposed. In SAP the carriers' amplitude is utilized to combat the peak signal. Each amplitude is amplified according to its degree of contribution as a metric. In addition to amplitude, SAPP also utilizes the phase. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme provides better PAPR reduction than SAP.

The purpose of this study is to observe the meaning of Minimalism and the characteristics in modem fashion design. The Minimalism appeared in 1960's has affect on fashion design which are simple miniskirt or Courrage look of those days. It leads a fashion system to the simple style goes with the life style of modem persons although the characteristics are somewhat different the styles in 1960's with those of 1990's. Minimal style is not just simple style but abbriviate expression constrained at the minimum. The styles appeared to be an undecorated simple line which are a sleeveless onepiece, a simple suit with no pocket and no collar and narrow shoulder. Colors are monochrome coordination and pursue a simplicity which is monotone variation. Patterns also appeared to be a geometric or abstract pattern for example check and stripe, which intend to minimum expression. Matirials are hightech glossy coating textures which have a futuristic image. In conclusion, the Minimalism in 1990's appeared to be a post-minimalism associated with postmodernism and a hightech-minimal under the technology development.

The Immersed boundary method(IBM) is one of CFD techniques which can simulate flow field around complex objectives using simple Cartesian grid system. In the previous studies the IBM has mostly been implemented to fractional step method based Navier-Stokes solvers. In these cases, pressure buildup near IB was found to occur when linear interpolation and stadard mass conservation is used and the interpolation scheme became complicated when higher order of interpolation is adopted. In this study, we implement the IBM to an incompressible Navier-Stokes solver which uses SIMPLE algorithm. Bi-linear and quadratic interpolation equations were formulated by using only geometric information of boundary to reconstruct velocities near IB. Flow around 2D circular cylinder at Re=40 and 100 was solved by using these formulations. It was found that the pressure buildup was not observed even when the bi-linear interpolation was adopted. The use of quadratic interpolation made the predicted aerodynamic forces in good agreement with those of previous studies.

We have derived the general transfer equation for governing the continuity, energy transfer, mass and momentum transfer, and turbulent energy dissipation rate within the fire compartment which has the 800t fire source at the center of the floor. The governing transfer equations have been descretized using the finite volume approach and numerically experimented under the SIMPLE algorithm. In order for the SIMPLE algorithm approach to be physically reliable, the test results are compared with those of Morita's SOR Method using Conjugate Residual Method and found to be close to physical values though the computational convergence time still remains to be upgraded. The treatment of source terms in the system of finite difference equations has been critical in order to converge the governing equations within the appropriate time steps. The criteria of convergence allowance for the whole domain have been checked and the sudden change of the non-linear effects from the source term have been avoided. The criteria has been allowed to be for 5$\times$10$^{-5}$ .
