We have synthesized gold nanoparticles (GNPs) using chicken feathers (poultry waste) and Bacillus subtilis RSE163. Disulfide reductase and keratinase produced by Bacillus subtilis during the degradation of chicken feather has been used to reduce Au³⁺ from HAuCl₄ precursor to produce gold nanoparticles. The synthesized biogenic GNPs were characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and zeta potential measurements. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy indicated the presence of protein capping on synthesized GNPs, imparting multifunctionality to the GNP surface. Furthermore, the nontoxic nature of biogenic GNPs was insured by interaction with Escherichia coli (ATCC11103), where TEM images and enhancement of growth rate of E. coli in log phase signified their nontoxic nature. The results indicate that the synthesis of biocompatible GNPs using poultry waste may find potential applications in drug delivery and sensing.

Costume of each age reflects its own history. Military costume is an reflections of war, social and geometrical background. Soldiers on their uniforms were at the battlefields with their lives and country on their shoulders. The main purpose of this writing is to study military costume of ancient empires in historical Point of view including especially those of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Crete, Greece, Etruria, Rome. As we will see, ancient military costume developed from earlier stages of uniforms into military costume in various ways. The types of military costume formed itself gradually but rapidly into sophisticated, useful, and excellent quality clothes. Military costume of early ancient empires signified its strength and were actual and symbolic costume that determined life and death, glory and disgrace.

In Korea the population of breeding house swallow is continuously decreasing. In this regard this study was conducted to find out the overall population trend during 2001-2005. The areas of urban and rural sites were separated to estimate population. Also the sites in Yangpyung areas were chosen to compare population density between two sites during Mar-Aug, 2006. The house swallow had two breeding periods and I tried to correlated amount of days of incubation and number of eggs in the nest. After egg hatching the homing behavior also was estimated assuming lack of foods takes longer to bring foods back to the nest. This study signified that a long term study should be conducted for population change and spring arrival time due to climate change in Korea.

The atmosphere of a caf is one of the most important elements for cafe interior design since it is linked directly with profit. As human sensibility ergonomics which is recently signified In various fields is an attempt to quantitatively analyze factors of human sensibility and apply it to design operation, it can be apt for analyzing caf atmosphere. Employing human sensibility ergonomics this study examined issues to be considered for preferred caf interior design. The outcome of this study indicated that the most significant caf design factors are "'style', 'artificiality' and 'enjoyment'. It also suggested a design guideline by evaluating features of each factor. Constructing a successful interior design can be achieved by applying this design guideline.

The paper brings to question how image as a medium is becoming a replacement for traditional letters in the modern culture. Reflection the importance of image in the context of modern society with the changes in the values of communication. The importance of letters in its traditional format as a book that signified not only the method of communication but also power for those who governed during the days of illiteracy in the past has changed, in the beginning with the development of printing and today with movies etc. that supply endless images instead of words as a means of communication. The images are the next generation in the method of communication and can be noted from the earliest civilizations such as Egypt where the method of communication was not words but drawings that depicted specific significations. The use of images for communication purposes in light of this fact suggests that images was being used before words in societies and its communicative values greater than that of words.

The registration of Dongeuibogam as UNESCO's Memory of world was not only a national triumph but also an internationally important event. This event got rid of the opinions that suggested Dongeuibogam was a medical system practiced only un the limited area of Korea and this event signified the restoration of Dongeuibogam's international and universal position. Therefore, ih is now our job to find Dongeuibogam's modern applications and restore its value. This study was carried out with the purpose of examining the significance of Dongeuibogam's registration as Memory of world from a medical history's point of view and finding its modern applications. The author discussed significance in three parts of Past Significance, Present Significance and Future Significance. As for modern applications, the author reviewed currently used applications and considered the possible ways to restore its original value as an alternative for future medical science.

Very few studies have been done on Studying Brand credibility and Involvement as a determinant of Brand Equity. Literature on Brand Equity signifies lots of constructs like, Country of Origin, Brand Signaling, and Brand Power act as determinant to Brand Equity. This study tries to formulate relationship between the construct Brand Credibility and Brand Involvement as Antecedents to Brand Equity of Product. Using a Two Step Structural Equation Modelling approach analysis on the data collected on Mobile Phone brands were done. Result signified that Brand Credibility and Brand Involvement had significant influence on Brand Equity of the Product. On the Other hand there was no significant relationship between Brand Credibility and Brand Involvement of the Product.

The Scythians had a veritable passion for adornment, delighting in decorating themselves no less than their horses and belongings. Their love of jewellery was expressed at every turn. The most magnificent pieces naturally come from the royal tombs. In the area of the neck and chest the Scythian had a massive gold Torques, a symbol of power, made of gold, turquoise, cornelian coral and even amber. The entire surface of the torque, like that of many of the other artefacts, is decorated with depictions of animals. Scythian Torques are worn with the decorative terminals to the front. It was put a Torque on, grasped both terminals and placed the opening at the back of the neck. It is possible the Torque signified its wearer's religious leadership responsibilities. Scythian Torques were divided into several types according to the shape, Torque with Terminal style, Spiral style, Layers style, Crown style, Crescent-shaped pectoral style.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the Hanbok is expressed in the ballet performances through the 'La, Chun-hyang', a classic Korean ballet. 'La, Chun-hyang', was performed from 2009 and 2010, but there were some differences in choreography by the director's intention. According to these changes, the methods of expression of ballet objects were changed as well. Therefore, totally different personalities were shown despite the fact that theses were same performances. Every costume objects in dance performances like the ballet can be used to express the story and the characters. Moreover, the object designs of Hanbok portray creativity and originality that simultaneously refers to history. In order for stage costume objects to popularize, the making method and process have to be developed like the objects of the Hanbok that signified historicity.
