  • In neurointensive care units (NICUs), particularly in cases involving traumatic brain injury (TBI), swift and accurate decision-making is critical because of rapidly changing patient conditions and the risk of secondary brain injury. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in NICU can enhance clinical decision support and provide valuable assistance in these complex scenarios. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the current status and future prospects of AI utilization in the NICU, along with the challenges that must be overcome to realize this. Presently, the primary application of AI in NICU is outcome prediction through the analysis of preadmission and high-resolution data during admission. Recent applications include augmented neuromonitoring via signal quality control and real-time event prediction. In addition, AI can integrate data gathered from various measures and support minimally invasive neuromonitoring to increase patient safety. However, despite the recent surge in AI adoption within the NICU, the majority of AI applications have been limited to simple classification tasks, thus leaving the true potential of AI largely untapped. Emerging AI technologies, such as generalist medical AI and digital twins, harbor immense potential for enhancing advanced neurocritical care through broader AI applications. If challenges such as acquiring high-quality data and ethical issues are overcome, these new AI technologies can be clinically utilized in the actual NICU environment. Emphasizing the need for continuous research and development to maximize the potential of AI in the NICU, we anticipate that this will further enhance the efficiency and accuracy of TBI treatment within the NICU.

  • A post-processing technique for the measurement signal of a solenoid-type sensor is introduced. The solenoid-type sensor nondestructively evaluates an external tendon of prestressed concrete using the total flux leakage (TFL) method. The TFL solenoid sensor consists of primary and secondary coils. AC electricity, with the shape of a sinusoidal function, is input in the primary coil. The signal proportional to the differential of the input is induced in the secondary coil. Because the amplitude of the induced signal is proportional to the cross-sectional area of the tendon, sectional loss of the tendon caused by ruptures or corrosion can be identified by the induced signal. Therefore, it is important to extract amplitude information from the measurement signal of the TFL sensor. Previously, the amplitude was extracted using local maxima, which is the simplest way to obtain amplitude information. However, because the sampling rate is dramatically decreased by amplitude extraction using the local maxima, the previous method places many restrictions on the direction of TFL sensor development, such as applying additional signal processing and/or artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, the proposed method uses amplitude demodulation to obtain the signal amplitude from the TFL sensor, and the sampling rate of the amplitude information is same to the raw TFL sensor data. The proposed method using amplitude demodulation provides ample freedom for development by eliminating restrictions on the first coil input frequency of the TFL sensor and the speed of applying the sensor to external tension. It also maintains a high measurement sampling rate, providing advantages for utilizing additional signal processing or artificial intelligence. The proposed method was validated through experiments, and the advantages were verified through comparison with the previous method. For example, in this study the amplitudes extracted by amplitude demodulation provided a sampling rate 100 times greater than those of the previous method. There may be differences depending on the given situation and specific equipment settings; however, in most cases, extracting amplitude information using amplitude demodulation yields more satisfactory results than previous methods.

  • In recent years, there has been a growing interest in deep learning-based animal pose estimation, especially in the areas of animal behavior analysis and healthcare. However, existing animal pose estimation techniques do not perform well when body parts are occluded or not present. In particular, the occlusion of dog tail or ear might lead to a significant degradation of performance in pet behavior and emotion recognition. In this paper, to solve this intractable problem, we propose a simple yet novel framework for pet pose estimation where pet pose is predicted on an outpainted image where some body parts hidden outside the input image are reconstructed by the image inpainting network preceding the pose estimation network, and we performed a preliminary study to test the feasibility of the proposed approach. We assessed CE-GAN and BAT-Fill for image outpainting, and evaluated SimpleBaseline for pet pose estimation. Our experimental results show that pet pose estimation on outpainted images generated using BAT-Fill outperforms the existing methods of pose estimation on outpainting-less input image.

  • In the Past, Trend of car security was Physical Something like doorlock system, and The Generation did not have skills connecting External devices. Through Car Development is up, that trend of car security Changed Physical Security to Intelligence Security. This Changes give a chance to hackers to attack this system. This System use CAN(Controller Area Network) Protocol which have three vulnerabilities. First, ID Spoofing, Twice, D - Dos Attack, Third, Android Application Injected Modern cars have many ECU(Electronic Control Unit) to control devices like Engine ON/OFF, Door Lock Handling, and Controlling Handle. Because CAN Protocol spread signal using broadcast, Hackers can get the signal very easily, and Those often use Mobile devices like Android or IOS to attack this system. if bluetooth signal is spread wide, hackers get the signal, and analysis the bluetooth data, so then They makes certain data to attack ECU, they send the data to ECU, and control ECU installed car. so I suggest that I will prevent this attack to make Auth system and prevent this attack in end of Android.

  • At the current camera-based technology level, sensor-based basic life pattern recognition technology has to suffer inconvenience to obtain accurate data, and commercial band products are difficult to collect accurate data, and cannot take into account the motive, cause, and psychological effect of behavior. the current situation. In this paper, radar technology for life pattern recognition is a technology that measures the distance, speed, and angle with an object by transmitting a waveform designed to detect nearby people or objects in daily life and processing the reflected received signal. It was designed to supplement issues such as privacy protection in the existing image-based service by applying it. For the implementation of the proposed system, based on TI IWR1642 chip, RF chipset control for 60GHz band millimeter wave FMCW transmission/reception, module development for distance/speed/angle detection, and technology including signal processing software were implemented. It is expected that analysis of individual life patterns will be possible by calculating self-management and behavior sequences by extracting personalized life patterns through quantitative analysis of life patterns as meta-analysis of living information in security and safe guards application.

  • This paper studies a steering control method using a neural network algorithm for an intelligent autonomous driving robot. Previous horizontal steering control methods were made by various possible situation on the road. However, it isn't possible to make out algorithms that consider all sudden variances on the road. In this paper, an intelligent steering control algorithm for an autonomous driving robot system is presented. The algorithm is based on Self Organizing Maps(SOM) and the feature points on the road are used as training datum. In a simulation test, it is available to handle a steering control using SOM for an autonomous steering control. The algorithm is evaluated on an autonomous driving robot. The algorithm is available to control a steering for an autonomous driving robot with better performance at the experiments.

  • Recently developed Computed Topography (CT) reconstruction algorithms are reviewed in a more generalized sense and a few reconstruction examples are given for illustration. The construction of an image function from the physically measured projections of some object is Discussed with reference to the least squares optimum filters, originally derived to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio in communications theory. The computerifed image processing associated with topography is generalized so as to include 3 distinct parts: the construction of an image from the projection, the restoration of a blurred, noisy image, degraded by a known space-invariant impulse response, and the further enhancement of the image, e.g. by edge sharpening. In conjunction with given versions of the popular convolution algorithm, n6t 19 be confused with filtering by a 2-diminsional convolution, we consider the conditions under which a concurrent construction, restoration, and enhancement are possible. Extensive bibliographical limits are given in the references.

  • Identity recognition in real environment with a reliable mode is a key issue in human computer interaction (HCI). In this paper, we present a robust person identification system considering score-based optimal reliability measure of audio-visual modalities. We propose an extension of the modified reliability function by introducing optimizing parameters for both of audio and visual modalities. For degradation of visual signals, we have applied JPEG compression to test images. In addition, for creating mismatch in between enrollment and test session, acoustic Babble noises and artificial illumination have been added to test audio and visual signals, respectively. Local PCA has been used on both modalities to reduce the dimension of feature vector. We have applied a swarm intelligence algorithm, i.e., particle swarm optimization for optimizing the modified convection function's optimizing parameters. The overall person identification experiments are performed using VidTimit DB. Experimental results show that our proposed optimal reliability measures have effectively enhanced the identification accuracy of 7.73% and 8.18% at different illumination direction to visual signal and consequent Babble noises to audio signal, respectively, in comparison with the best classifier system in the fusion system and maintained the modality reliability statistics in terms of its performance; it thus verified the consistency of the proposed extension.

  • Common data link systems are designed to transmit the imaginary and signal intelligence data at long distance air-ground line of sight(LOS) link. In this paper, we analyze the received power variation according to the communication distance of the common data link using curved earth 2-Ray model suitable for received signal power analysis of long distance air-ground wireless channel. We propose optimal elevation angle control method of the receiving antenna to reduce a power variation caused by ground-reflected wave. Proposed method can get additional link margin compared to the conventional method without any additional hardware performance enhancement.

  • In this paper, this system makes use of the analog infrered rays sensor and converts the feature of fish analog signal when sensor is operating with CPU(80C196KC). Then, After signal processing, this feature is classified a special feature and a outline of fish by using the neural network, one of the artificial intelligence scheme. This neural network classifies fish pattern of very simple and short calculation. This has linear activation function and the error backpropagation is used as a learning algorithm. And the neural network is learned in off-line process. Because an adaptation period of neural network is too long time when random initial weights are used, off-line learning is induced to decrease the progress time. We confirmed this method has better performance than somewhat outdated machines.
