거리·시간 측정에 의한 고정도 타행시험법: II. 단거리 방법의 개발 및 시험 (High-Accuracy Coastdown Test Method by Distance-Time Measurement: II. Development of a Short Distance Method and its Evaluation)

  • In the companion paper of the present paper, a coast down test method to determine the resistance forces on running vehicle based on the distance-time measurement was explained along with the suggestions to improve its accuracy and testing methodology. In the present paper some of the suggestions discussed previously are implemented and actually road tested to see the applicability of the improved method(short distance method) in the field. From the results. it is shown that the short distance method which requires only 600m long proving ground road gives at least comparable results on the accuracy compared to the original S-t method which requires 2000m. It is hoped that the present method be further refiend to give more accurate results.

교류초퍼에서 단락사고 방지를 위한 스위칭 신호 패턴 (Switching Signal Patterns to Prevent Short Circuit of AC Choppers)

  • Two switching signal patterns are proposed to prevent short circuit of PWM ac choppers. The voltage detection method and the current detection method are proposed to execute two switching signal patterns. In the voltage detection method, the dead-time has to be inserted to the switching signals after polarity of input voltage is checked by voltage transducer at input side. In the current detection method, the direction of load current is checked by current transducer at output side, and the dead-time delay is not considered. Controlling circuit built by current detection method is simple because the dead-time delay is considered. The experimental results are presented to prevent short circuit of ac chopper safely.

An Approach for Stock Price Forecast using Long Short Term Memory

  • The Stock price analysis is an increasing concern in a financial time series. The purpose of the study is to analyze the price parameters of date, high, low, and news feed about the stock exchange price. Long short term memory (LSTM) is a cutting-edge technology used for predicting the data based on time series. LSTM performs well in executing large sequence of data. This paper presents the Long Short Term Memory Model has used to analyze the stock price ranges of 10 days and 20 days by exponential moving average. The proposed approach gives better performance using technical indicators of stock price with an accuracy of 82.6% and cross entropy of 71%.

옥내배선 길이에 따른 단락 특성의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Short Circuit Characteristics by the Interior Wiring Length)

  • This paper describes electrical fire on residential environment such as apartment and detached house caused by defect of interior wiring. We carried out experimental study on short circuit characteristics by the interior wiring length. We were measured arc current, arc energy and interrupting time of earth leakage current circuit breaker(ELB), when an interior wiring break out short circuit in residential environment. From the experiment results, the longer of the interior wiring, the magnitude of arc current decreased and the interrupting time of ELB increased. When applied the A maker's ELB, the strength of arc current and interrupting time of ELB was 254 A and 245 ms respectively at 30 m interior wiring length. In 3 m interior wiring length, arc current and interrupting time was 716 A and 4.24 ms respectively. Arc energy was dependent on the magnitude of arc current and the interrupting time of ELB, the longer the interrupting time, arc energy increasing. In this paper, minimum arc energy was 277 J using C maker's ELB and 3 m interior wiring length(arc current 283 A, interrupting time of breaker 6.28 ms). Therefore in the residential environment, short circuit caused by defect of the interior wiring lead to electrical fire.

강릉 연안지역 해풍의 선정기준과 단 시간 해풍의 기후학적 특성 (Sea Breeze Criterion and the Climatological Characteristics of the Short-time Sea Breeze in Gangneung Coastal Area)

  • 본 연구는 강릉 연안지역의 해풍 선정기준과 단 시간 해풍의 기후학적 특성에 관한 것이다. 강릉 연안지역에서의 해풍 선정기준은 다음과 같다. 즉, 육풍에서 해풍으로, 그리고 그 반대로의 분명한 풍향 변화가 있는 가운데 북동 기류와 같이 지형적 원인에 의한 풍향 변화는 해풍 선정에서 제외시켰다. 그리고 해풍이 1시간 또는 2시간만 지속된 경우도 포함시켰다. 이렇게 선정된 해풍 가운데 강릉 연안 지역에서의 가장 큰 특징인 단 시간 해풍에 대한 기후학적 특성을 10년동안(1988년${\sim}$1997년)의 자료를 통해 분석하였고 계절별 발생빈도, 발생시간, 풍향, 풍속, 기온으로 구성되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 강릉 연안지역 뿐만 아니라 동해안 지역 해풍의 기후학적 특성활용에 대해 간략히 논하였다.

한국의 초단시간 노동시장 분석 (The Short-Hours Part-Time Jobs in Korea)

  • 이 글은 근로시간이 주당 15시간 미만에 불과한 초단시간 노동시장의 성장에 주목하여, 어떤 집단에서 초단시간 근로가 증가하고 있고 이들의 노동 상황은 어떠한지 분석한 탐색적인 연구이다. 초단시간 근로는 저학력 고령층 여성, 특히 사별 또는 이혼한 여성을 중심으로 증가하고 있었다. 따라서 초단시간 근로의 증가는 여성의 일-가정 양립이나 경력단절에 초점을 둔 정부의 시간제 근로 장려 정책의 결과가 아니었다. 오히려 배우자가 있는 여성도 육아나 가사의 이유보다 원하는 일자리가 없거나 생활비가 필요해서 초단시간 근로를 하는 경우가 더 많았다. 초단시간 근로란 일-가정 양립을 원하는 여성이 노동시간의 이점을 보고 선택하는 고용형태가 아닌 것이다. 초단시간 노동시장은 사회서비스업을 중심으로 증가하고 있으며, 저임금에 사회보험과 부가급여도 기대할 수 없는 열악한 특성을 띠고 있었다. 노동 수요와 공급, 정부와 제도 측면에서 볼 때, 초단시간 근로의 증가 현상은 급증하는 사회서비스의 수요를 민간에 넘긴 정부, 30인 미만 영세 사회서비스업 중심의 초단시간 고용, 주당 15시간 미만 근로에 대한 법적 보호를 배제한 미비한 법제도, 그리고 생계가 급급한 노동공급자라는 복합적인 요인이 작용한 결과였다. 사별 또는 이혼 상태인 저학력 고령층 여성은 경제적 동기는 강한 반면 시장에는 가장 취약한 집단이라 할 수 있다. 이들의 저임금 노동으로 초단시간 노동시장이 존재 할 수 있었지만, 고용의 질이 낮은 만큼 이들은 근로빈곤의 함정에 빠져있을 가능성이 높다. 노인빈곤율이 높은 현실과 호출근로같이 열악한 근로조건의 초단시간 노동시장을 감안할 때, 정부의 규제와 초단시간 근로자를 온전하게 보호하는 법 제도 등의 대책이 매우 시급하다.

시간-주파수 분석에 의한 금형 마모 분석 (Stamping Tool Wearing Analysis by Time-Frequency Analysis)

  • This paper reports on the research which analyzes acoustic signals acquired in progressive compressing, hole blanking, and burr compacting process. An acoustic sensor was set on the bed of hydraulic press. Acoustic signal is generated from progressive stamping process. First the signal acquired from the unit process; compressing, blanking or compacting, is studied by Fourier Transform and Short Time Fourier Transform. The blanking process emitted ultrasonic signal with more than 20kHz, but the compressing and compacting processes emitted acoustic signals with lower than 10kHz. The combined signals periodically acquired right after the tool grinding were then analyzed. 70-80kHz signals appeared in time-frequency domain, but not in the frequency domain, the magnitude of which was related to the tool wear. Short Time Fourier Transform made up for the Fourier Transform in analyzing the emitted signal for stamping process in the ultrasonic domain.

STFT 기법을 적용한 스펙트럼 센싱 모듈 구현 (Implementation of Spectrum Sensing Module using STFT Method)

  • 스펙트럼 센싱 기술은 차세대 무선통신 기술들 중 하나인 Cognitive Radio (CR) 시스템에서의 핵심 기술이다. 본 논문은 CR 기술 기반의 효율적인 스펙트럼 센싱을 위하여 대상 신호의 시간-주파수 측면의 분석을 위한 알고리즘인 Short Time Fourier Transform을 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. STFT에 적용된 윈도우는 Kaiser Window이며, 그 중첩 정도는 50%로 규정하였다. 시뮬레이션을 위해 6MHz 대역폭을 가진 DVB-H 신호를 입력 신호로 하였으며, Modified Periodogram Method, Welch's Method와의 비교를 통하여 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하였다. 또한, 임베디드 보드를 통하여 스펙트럼 센싱 모듈을 구현하였다.

경주지진과 유사한 특성을 가지는 지반가속도로 가진된 단주기 구조물 변위연성도 평가 (Ductility Demand for Short-period Structures Excited by Ground Accelerations Similar to Gyeong-ju Earthquakes)

  • In this paper, time and frequency domain characteristics of Gyeong-ju earthquakes were investigated, and nonlinear time history analyses were conducted for bi-linear hysteretic structures excited by short-duration ground accelerations. Previous studies showed that larger inelastic displacements than the peak displacement of the corresponding elastic system were observed especially for the structures with structural period shorter than 0.3s, and the similar results could be obtained when long-duration ground accelerations were used as excitation loads. For the short-duration earthquakes, however, the inelastic displacements were not so large and almost identical to the peak elastic displacements.

GMAW 공정에서 아크 안정성의 실시간 측정 (Real-time estimation of arc stability in GMAW process)

  • Arc must be stable during welding first of all other factors for obtaining sound weldment, especially in the automation of welding process. Arc stability is somewhat sophisticated phenomenon which is not clearly defined yet. In consumable electrode welding, the voltage and current variation due to metal transfer enables to assess arc stability. Recently, statistical analyses of the voltage and current waveform factors are performed to assess the degress of arc stability which is assessed and controlled by operator's own experience by now. But, considering the increasing need and the trend of automation of welding process, it is necessary to monitor arc stability in real-time. In this sutdy, the modified stability index composed of two voltage and current wvaeform factors (arc time and short circuit time) reduced from four factors (arc time, short circuit time, average arc current and average short circuit current) in Mita's index by the welding electrical circuit modeling is proposed and verified by experiments to be well estimating arc stability in the static sense. Also, the recursive calculation form estimating present arc stability in the dynamic sense is developed for real-time estimation. The results of applying the recursive index during welding show good estimation of arc stability in real-time. Therefore, the results of this study offers the mean for real-time control arc stability.
