  • Nail art is a kind of nail painting or decoration that adds to the beauty. Throughout making nail art, the worker was on a dusty operation with the smoothing of chemicals and nails. People working at nail shops not only use a variety of chemicals, but also experience a lot of fine powder during the process of nail trimmings. While drying the chemical adhesive, the workers often complain of eye, nose and throat discomfort. In addition, the acrylic brush is characterized by a lot of smell when washed with washing solution. Also nail art workers directly influence the worker's breathing through the work done by placing the guest's hands in a work space called a nail table. Chemical ingredients used in nail art procedures include acetone, ethyl acetic acid, toluene, butyl acetic acid, glue, and top coating of nail varnishes. Prolonged inhalation of these substances may cause dizziness, vomiting, as well as impaired respiratory system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the respiratory symptoms of nail shop workers who are likely to be affected by work in nail shop and to find out which factors have the greatest influence if they have respiratory symptoms. Therefore this study is to provide basic data on the health management system of people engaged in nail shop and to develop health education program. For this study, the data collection was collected on July 7, 2017 for the nail shop workers attending the nail art trend seminar held in Gwangju, in Korea. The data were all 236. However, except for the poor data, 208 data were used for the final analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 30 in general questions, questions about self-efficacy in 24 questions. elf-efficacy measuring tool developed by A.Y, Kim, I. Y, Park(2001). The self-efficacy questionnaire consists of 24 items and is self-reported 7-point Likert scale. The reliability of this tool was cronbach alpha = .934.The collected data were analyzed using spss 18.0. Information of Research participant performed frequency analysis. To examine the effects of personal characteristics on self-efficacy, $X^2$ analysis was conducted. • This research was intended to investigate how risk perception and risk reduction behavior by consumers differ according to different product characteristics of clothing. The responses of 318 female college students living in Seoul and surrounding vicinities were collected and analyzed. Inner wear, blue-jean pants, coat were selected as representing each clothing product characteristics. Frequencies distribution, regression and correlation coefficient were utilized for statistical analysis. Results are as follows. 1. The type of perceived risk and risk reduction behavior differed according to product characteristics of clothing. Physical and performance risk were more highly perceived for the purchase of innerwear. However, for the purchase of jean pants and coat, socio-psycho-logical and economic risk were also perceived highly because the rate of fashion change, social symbolism, and coordination with other clothing items become more important characteristics. To reduce perceived risk, dependency on past purchase experiences and shop-ping were mostly preferred method regardless of product characteristics of clothing. 2. Risk type as determinant variables for predicting overall risk differed according to product characteristics of clothing. But fashionability and usefulness were common determinant risk variables, which identifies typical characteristics of clothing product.

  • This study investigated organic coffee choice motives from a coffee shop market segmentation perspective in order to understand the potential importance they may have upon attitudes and behavioral intentions to buy organic coffee. A factor-cluster segmentation approach was used for this study. An exploratory factor analysis identified five organic coffee choice motives: 'Sensory', 'Environment', 'Trust', 'Health' and 'Price'. Based upon these five choice motives, cluster analyses classified all respondents into three homogeneous subgroups: 'Highly motivated', 'Moderately motivated' and 'Unmotivated'. Analysis of variance tests indicated that attitudes and intentions to purchase organic coffee were significantly different among the three clusters. In particular, two cluster groups representing 'Highly motivated' and 'Moderately motivated' were found to offer the most utility for further organic coffee market segmentation research. Especially, due to perceptions about high price premium of organic coffee, the 'Moderately motivated' group had higher positive attitudes, although, their intentions to buy organic coffee were not higher than those of the 'Unmotivated' cluster. Findings support previous research propositions that high price could be the strongest barrier for people to purchase organic products including the organic coffee business context. This will assist to market and promote pricing strategies for caf$\acute{e}$s and restaurants to optimize organic coffee sales revenue. Implications for all cluster groups regarding unique socio-demographic characteristics and behavioral intentions are discussed. Organic coffee marketers can apply these findings towards the development of effective target market strategies.

  • This study provides analysis of the effectiveness of domestic marketing strategies of the Korean coffee shop "Caffe Bene". It bases its evaluation on statistical outputs of 'choice attributes,' "market segmentation," demographic characteristics," and "satisfaction differences." The results are summarized in four points. First, five choice attributes were extracted from factor analysis: price, atmosphere, comfort, taste, and location; these are related to coffee shop selection behavior. Based on these five factors, cluster analysis was conducted, with statistical results classifying customers into three major groups: atmosphere oriented; comfort oriented; and taste oriented. Second, discriminant analysis tested cluster analysis and showed two discriminant functions: location and atmosphere. Third, cross-tabulation analysis based on demographic characteristics showed distinctive demographic characteristics within the three groups. Atmosphere oriented group, early-20s, as women of all ages was found to be 'walking down the street 'and 'through acquaintances' in many cases, as the cognitive path, and mostly found the store through 'outdoor advertising', and 'introduction'. Comfort oriented group was mainly women who are students in their early twenties or professionals, and appeared as a group to be very loyal because of high recommendation to other customers compared to other groups. Taste oriented group, unlike the other group, was mainly late-20s' college graduates, and was confirmed, as low loyalty, with lower recommendation activity. Fourth, to analyze satisfaction differences, one-way ANOVA was conducted. It shows that groups which show high satisfaction in the five main factors also show high menu satisfaction and high overall satisfaction. This results show that segmented marketing strategies are necessary because customers are considering price, atmosphere, comfort, taste, location when they choose coffee shop and demographics show different attributes based on segmented groups. For example, atmosphere oriented group is satisfied with shop interior and comfort while dissatisfied with price because most of the customers in this group are early 20s and do not have great financial capability. Thus, price discounting marketing strategies based on individual situations through CRM system is critical. Comfort oriented group shows high satisfaction level about location and shop comfort. Also, in this group, there are many early 20s female customers, students, and self-employed people. This group customers show high word of mouth tendency, hence providing positive brand image to the customers would be important. In case of taste oriented group, while the scores of taste and location are high, word of mouth score is low. This group is mainly composed of educated and professional many late 20s customers, therefore, menu differentiation, increasing quality of coffee taste and price discrimination is critical to increase customers' satisfaction. However, it is hard to generalize the results of study to other coffee shop brand, because this study have researched only one domestic coffee shop, Caffe Bene. Thus if future study expand the scope of locations, brands, and occupations, the results of the study would provide more generalizable results. Finally, research of customer satisfactions of menu, trust, loyalty, and switching cost would be critical in the future study.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the interface between "place of work" and "place of living" in the housing sphere has changed, and to understand its social background. During the korean modernization period, changes in economic structure toward industry has an influence on many aspects of modem life in addition to occupations. The traditional mixing of heterogeneous activities in the home-such as between reproduction and household affairs, first changed into a coexistence of two spaces with different functions within the boundaries of home, and finally into a spatial separation between functions in an urban dimension. As a result of this process, the primary role of the modem home is as a place for relaxation without work. One important kind of home, in which a retail shop is integrated with it, was researched as a transitional form. Its spatial layout showed a various combined usage of both spaces. In conclusion, changes in relevant macro-social aspects are very concretely reflected m the function and spatial organization of the home.

  • It becomes necessary for engine manufactures to verify whether lots of engines on test bed during shop test are in compliance with NOx Technical Code for marine diesel engines more efficiently on the basis of engine group test concept which contains parent engine and member engines since all the engines are not needed to take NOx measurement. In addition, it becomes more obliged to consider parameters which affect NOx emission level and describe these parameters in NOx technical file as engine information and settings to define engine operation range with tolerance to make sure the engines are still in compliance with NOx emission limit on board after shop test. During preparation of engine group test for 4-stroke marine diesel engines, we evaluated NOx emission value under different engine operating conditions and found that there are certain parameters, for example, Charge air temperature and Max. cylinder pressure which have influence on NOx emission level. The NOx emission shall be satisfied with NOx technical code by means of controlling such parameters.
