The purpose of this study is to provide an opportunity for better understanding and application of 2009 revised elementary school mathematics textbooks through survey data and focus group interview on structures of textbooks. First, We collect online survey results which 2333 elementary school teachers participated. Next, We interview focus group(8 teachers) about shapes of textbooks, quantity of learning contents, activities and problems for evaluation in the mathematics lessons. Storytelling is especially issued in the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum. We intensively discuss learning and teaching methods with application of storytelling textbooks; interests of students, role of storytelling textbooks etc. As results of analysis, the positive rate to use the 2009 revised textbooks is relatively high about shapes and activities of textbooks. But there is more considered about storytelling method. Storytelling may be positive on improvement of learning interests and participation of students. In order to develop these advantages, studies in relation of storytelling are more proceeded and teaching materials for teachers are required effectively in order to applicate to the elementary school.

This study aimed to identify ways to implement pre-parent education for adolescents in regular classes at school. This was achieved by investigating whether the contents of the 2015 revised curriculum high-school technology and home economics textbooks reflected the goals of pre-parent education. The main texts and activities of chapters with 'preparing for parenthood' in the title from 12 high-school technology and home economics education textbooks were analyzed with respect to the three pre-parent education goals of developing perceptions and attitudes toward parenthood, learning parenting knowledge and skills, and reinforcing parental capacity. The results were as follows. First, textbook contents and activities reflected the three goals of pre-parent education in a balanced manner. Second, both the contents and activities of textbooks tried to motivate students to perceive parenthood and parenting through reflection on their relationship with their own parents. Third, because the textbooks encouraged students to consider parenthood and parenting, they acknowledged the importance of undertaking pre-parent education to reinforce their parental capacities. Using such textbooks in regular technology and home economics classes is expected to provide students with an opportunity to consider parenthood and shape their perceptions and attitudes accordingly, thereby allowing adolescents to prepare themselves for parenthood and become good parents.

현재 교과서의 발행 체제가 국정에서 검정으로 전환되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 국정 및 검정 교과서의 비교를 통해 그 변화를 살펴보는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 도형 영역에서 지도할 수 있는 교수·학습 요소를 기준으로 사각형에 대한 2015 개정 수학 국정 및 검정 교과서를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, '개념 탐구하기'는 전반적으로 적절히 구현되었으나 일부 검정 교과서의 경우 교육과정 성취기준인 분류하기를 제시하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. '개념 알기'는 도형의 구성 요소나 도형에 대해 이야기하는 활동이 다른 활동에 비해 적게 제시한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 평면도형의 정의가 교과서에 따라 다르게 제시되기도 하였다. '개념 적용하기'는 국정 교과서보다 검정 교과서에서 더 다양한 활동을 제시하고 있었다. '관계 알기'는 교육과 정의 영향으로 교과서에서 거의 제시되지 않았다. 이와 같은 사각형에 대한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 2022 개정 수학 교과서의 개발에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

수학 교육에서 도형은 기하학의 기초 개념을 소개하는 중요한 개념이 된다. 교과서가 학습자의 수준에 맞게 수학적 지식을 변환시켜 놓은 지식의 전달 매체라고 할 때 도형의 내용 중에 실생활에서 가장 많이 접할 수 있는 사각형의 지도 내용은 어떤 변화가 있었는지 살펴보고 교수학적 원리를 밝히는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 1차 교육과정 교과서와 2차 교육과정 교과서는 교수학적으로 덜 구조화되어 단순한 모양 소개에만 초점이 맞추어져 있으며, 3차 교육과정 교과서는 새 수학의 영향으로 학문적 체계를 갖추어 포함관계에 초점을 맞추었다. 4차에서 6차 교육과정 교과서에서는 학문적 체계에 따라 지도 내용을 제시하였고, 도형의 성질 지도에 초점을 맞추었다. 7차 교육과정 교과서는 실생활과의 연계성을 강조하였고, 학생들이 지식을 구성하는 기회의 제공을 많이 다루고 있다. 학생들의 유의미한 학습을 위해 이러한 변화에 대한 시사점을 교실 현장과 교과서의 제작에 충분히 반영되어야 한다.

도형 영역은 초등학생들의 학습에 많은 영향을 미치며, 다른 영역과도 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 이에 본 연구는 평면도형에서 핵심적으로 지도해야 할 교수·학습 요소를 문헌에서 추출하였다. 또한 이를 활용하여 삼각형을 지도할 때 가르쳐야 하는 교수·학습 요소가 2015 개정 수학 교과서에 적절히 구현되었는지를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 개념 알기의 경우 실제 물건의 모양에 초점을 두고 평면도형을 인식하는 활동이 부족하며, 기준에 따라 평면도형을 분류할 때 분류 기준이 이전 차시와 다르게 제시되는 것으로 나타났다. 개념 적용하기의 경우, 평면도형에 대해 토론하는 활동이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 관계 알기의 경우, 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 도형 사이의 관계는 다루지 않기 때문에 정의와 속성을 통해 도형 사이의 관계 파악하기, 분류 활동을 통해 도형 사이의 관계 파악하기, 도형 사이의 관계에 대해 토론하기의 전반적인 부분이 부족하게 제시되었다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 삼각형의 지도 방향을 제시하고 삼각형에 관한 추후 교육과정 자료 개발에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.
