성폭력 경험이 청소년기 여학생의 우울에 미치는 영향과 왜곡된 성통념의 매개효과 (Impact of the Experience of Sexual Abuse on Depression in Female Adolescents and Mediation Effect of Distorted Sex-Related Belief)

  • The purpose of this research was to clarify the impact of sexual abuse experienced by female adolescents on depression and to examine mediation effects of distorted beliefs related to sex. Self-report questionnaires were distributed to middle and high school female students in Seouland Gyonggi Areas. The549responseswereanalyzedbyregressionanalysis. Results indicated that 22.2% of the respondents had experienced sexual abuse; the experience of sexual abuse had a significant effect on distorted sex-related belief, but not on depression. Distorted sex-related beliefs, however, mediated between the experience of sexual abuse and depression. This study suggests the necessity for intervention and practical methods for the prevention of adolescent sexual abuse.

어린이 성희롱/성폭력 예방교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of the Educational Program for Prevention of Sexual Abuse in Children)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study is to develop an educational program to prevent sexual abuse of children and to improve the physical and mental health of children by providing a rape-free environment and safety education. This program will provide parents and children with information on how to prevent sexual abuse in children. Children learn specific methods to avoid being victimized both at home and outside the home through a learning game and simulation, which is based on problem solving. Method: This program was developed based on a literature reviews, surveys and negotiation process. School- aged-children, parents, and teachers were interviewed to reveal their educational needs based on their experiences related to sexual abuse. Result: This program includes useful subjects such as safety education, early detection of sexual abuse, crisis management, resource persons, and phone numbers of available hospital. Counseling is provided by researcher or by a pediatric psychiatrist if needed. Conclusion: This program could be adequately utilized for prevention of sexual abuse of children. It also will provide an intervention strategy for abused children. This educational program was distributed to all of the elementary school through the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.

발달적 독서치료를 활용한 부모 대상의 유아 성학대 자기보호 교육자 훈련프로그램의 개발 및 효과검증 (The Effects of a Parental Developmental Bibliotherapy Program for Their Young Children's Sexual Abuse Self-Protection)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of a children sexual abuse (CSA) parental training program with applied developmental bibliotherapy on parents. Subjects were 54 mothers, 24 of whom participated in the program which included 8 sessions for 4 weeks. Four dependent variables were subjected to analysis of covariance (ANCOVA); mothers’ knowledge, myths and stereotypes related to CSA, and their children’s levels of prevention concepts comprehension and self-protection skills of CSA. The results showed that the program increased mothers’ knowledge of CSA and decreaesd their beliefs on myths and stereotypes, and also increased their comprehension level of CSA prevention concepts and their level of children self-protection skills. These positive effects of the program show that the program can be incorporated into early childhood education practices. We are also pursuing the development of other research programs on this subject.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 우리나라의 지적장애인 대상의 디지털 성교육 콘텐츠 프로그램과 현황을 살펴보고, 이에 따른 디지털 성교육 콘텐츠 구성에 대한 연령별 제안과 피셔의 성교육에 관한 정보 동기 행동 스킬 모형을 인적자원 개발에서 흔히 논의되는 역량(competency)이라는 개념의 모형을 적용 확장하여 성적역량(sexual competency) 이라는 목표 하에서 모형을 제시해 보았다. 또한 이러한 모형과 현황조사를 바탕으로 적절한 디지털 성교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 과제를 제시해 보았다.

성학대 예방교육의 접근방법에 따른 유아의 성학대 이해와 대처방안 (The Effect of Sexual Abuse Prevention Programs of Concepts of Prevention and Coping Skills in Preschool Children)

  • This study compared the effectiveness of various prevention methods(1-time video viewing; repeated video viewing; participation-enriched video viewing) used in delivering awareness of sexual abuse and coping skills to preschool children. All of the experimental groups performed better than the control group. The participation-enriched viewing group displayed higher levels of coping skills than the control and the 1-time viewing groups. Repeated viewing and participation-enriched viewing approaches were most effective in long-term understanding. The repeated viewing group showed superiority in long-term coping skills. Direct participation, interaction, and reinforcement by means of repetition are important for optimal results in sexual abuse prevention education.

아동성폭력 예방에 대한 시민의식 조사 (A Survey Research on the Effective Prevention Program of Child Sexual Abuse)

  • 아동성폭력의 문제가 심각한 사회문제로 부각되고 있다. 신체적 저항능력이 부족한 아동을 대상으로 이루어지는 성범죄는 갈수록 잔인해지는 양상을 띠고 있으며, 이에 대한 효과적인 예방책도 없는 실정이다. 아동성범죄의 심각성에 대한 사회적 인식의 부족 또는 관망자적 자세가 성범죄의 확산을 가져오는 간접적 요인으로 작용되고 있는 것도 사실이다. 이에 대해 본 연구는 일반시민을 대상으로 아동성범죄의 심각성에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고, 항목별 SPSSWIN 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석과 교차분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 아동성범죄가 주로 발생하는 곳은 학교근처(31.9%)가 가장 많았고, 아동성범죄의 발생이유에 대해서는 예방장치의 부재를 꼽았다(32.2%). 효과적인 예방책으로서는 부모의 관찰 및 예방교육을 꼽았으며(35.7%), 예방장치로서는 부모의 자녀동반 등하교(58.1%)가 1순위로 나타났다. 제도적인 적합한 예방장치로서는 민간경비의 활용(37.5%)이 가장 많았고, 현재 실시되고 있는 아동지킴이에 대한 인식은 저조한 것으로 나타났다(47.9%). 정신적 육체적으로 미성숙된 아동을 대상으로 발생되는 범죄는 교육을 통한 예방보다는 물리적 안전장치가 가장 효과적인 것으로 나타나고 있는 것이다.

결혼이민여성의 학대와 관련요인연구 (Study on the Factors Relating and the Abuse of Immigrant Women)

  • The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of individuals, marital relation, migrated-cultural variables and abuse, and to analyze the effects of the individual, marital relation, and migrated-cultural variables on the abuse. The subjects were 174 immigrant women. The data was analyzed with frequency, t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression by SPSS. The major findings were as follows; Physical abuse amongst immigrant women was significantly different according to residence and income factors, psychological abuse was dependent on residence and native country, sexual abuse was dependent on education level, and total abuse was dependent on residence and native country. The level of abuse (range 1-4) was 2.07, Psychological abuse was the highest with 2.23, physical abuse was next with 1.92 and sexual abuse was 1.78. All the abuse types were influenced by the husband's alcohol behavior, communication efficiency, marital conflict, and knowledge of Korean culture. In conclusion, it is important to protect immigrant women who have been abused. So understanding, reasonable coping, prevention programs and counseling of abuse victims were provided to immigrant women.

보육교사의 아동학대 신고의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teacher Intention to Report Child Abuse at Child Care Centers)

  • Objective: This study aims to examine the factors associated with teacher intention to report child abuse in child care centers. Methods: Data were collected from teachers at child care centers in the Jeonbuk region, using a self-administered questionnaire. In this study, 186 completed questionnaires were used to analyze the data. Results: The respondents reported their intention to report child abuse as follows: physical abuse(49.5%), emotional abuse(16.1%), sexual abuse(12.9%), and neglect(15.6%). The multiple hierarchical regression analyses revealed that participation at child abuse prevention training programs and awareness of reporting procedures were significantly associated with teacher intention to report child abuse at child care centers in Model 2. Also, attitudes towards reporting child abuse were significantly associated with teacher intention to report child abuse in Model 3. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests evaluating chid abuse prevention training programs more accurately because the respondents who did not participate in the programs showed statistically significant higher mean scores of intention to report child abuse than who participated(1.83 vs .85). In addition, educational programs about child abuse for teachers in child care centers need to focus on changes in attitudes towards reporting child abuse, which in turn can change behavior.

노인 학대의 유형별 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Classification of Elder Abuse Types)

  • 본 연구는 최근 노인문제가 사회문제화됨에 따라 노인문제 가운데 노인 학대는 반인륜적이고 반인권적 차원에서 심각한 현상으로 인식하고 노인 학대를 유형별로 분류하여 연구하고자 한다. 본 연구방법은 문헌 연구로, 보건복지부에서 규정한 노인학대의 유형을 기준으로 하여 이론적 연구를 실시하였다. 노인 학대의 유형으로는, 신체적 학대, 정서적 학대, 성적 학대, 경제적 학대, 방임, 자기방임, 유기 등으로 분류할 수 있다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 노인 학대의 유형은 일곱 가지로 분류할 수 있으며, 이 유형들은 상호 간에 긴밀한 유기적관계가 있음이 나타났다. 따라서 이를 통해 효과적인 노인 학대 예방과 대처방안을 마련할 수 있는 학문적 토대를 이루었다.

아동학대에 대한 간호사의 인식조사 (A Survey of Nurses' Perceptions on Child Abuse)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' perceptions on child abuse. Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, data were collected using a questionnaire and 217 nurses working in seven general hospitals were surveyed. The perception scale was divided into 4 subscales: physical, psychological, sexual abuse and neglect. Results: Nurses who suspected child abuse accounted for 18.1% of the nurses, and 41.9% of the nurses stated that they did not to report suspected child abuse. The nurses reported receiving only a little education about the prevention of child abuse. The mean score for perception on child abuse was high ($3.59{\pm}0.31$). Recognition of sexual abuse ranked highest, psychological abuse ranked lowest. Conclusion: The findings from this research provide baseline information for understanding nurses' perceptions on child abuse, and may help in the development of appropriate education programs that will enable nurses to report child abuse.
