  • In this investigation, experimental attempts were made to observe and determine the variations in elastic of the PVC depending on the amounts of MBS added to the mixture, PVC/MBS, and also on the thicknesses of the specimens. An acoustic resonance technique was used for the tests in this investigation. It serves as a method to characterize properties of materials set in vibrational motions, which is initiated by low level stresses generated by externally supplied acoustic energy. Substantial variations were observed in the test results with the addition of the MBS to the PVC. It was found that the magnitudes of elastic constants decrease when MBS rubber was added in the range up to 9 phr and the shape factor effect in torsional vibration is more significant than the shape factor effect in flexural vibration.

  • Most of the demand forecasting which have been studied is about long-term time series over 15 years demand forecasting. In this paper, we set up the most optimal ARIMA model for the short-term time series demand forecasting and suggest demand forecasting system for short-term time series by appraising suitability and predictability. We are going to use the univariate ARIMA model in parallel with the bivariate transfer function model to improve the accuracy of forecasting. We also analyze the effect of advertisement cost, scale of branch stores, and number of clerk on the establishment of marketing policy by applying statistical methods. After then we are going to show you customer's needs, which are number of buying products. We have applied this method to forecast the annual sales of refrigerator in four branch stores of A company.

  • The aim of this study is to propose the predictive index and analyze the effect of lightsources and colour image types in the residence and office interior. This study was consisted of four steps, and was carried out as follows. 1) The condition of experiment was set up by optical characteristic of lightsources and colours. 2) The scaled model space was manufactured for the evaluation of the same condition by each space. And, some piece of furniture was manufactured for the representation of each space. 3) The emotivity response of lightsources and colours was measured. 4) Results of the evaluation of lightsources and colours were compared and analyzed by conditions, and the predictive index was proposed by image types.

  • This paper describes the problems generated with the use of PWM ASDs with induction motors. The major effect of harmonic voltages and currents in induction motors is increased the heating due to iron and copper losses at harmonic frequencies. The harmonic components thus affect the motor efficiency and developed the torque. In order to investigate the effect of harmonics which is caused by using of nonlinear load at the low voltage system, we set up simple load system and measured the voltage and current. Measurement results show that additional operation of induction motor at the parallel bus in using nonlinear load such as ASD is helpful to the reduction of harmonic current.

  • In this paper we would like to provide a help to implementing KMS(Knowledge Management System) in public sector. For this purpose, we set up five contingency environmental factors and three process factors of knowledge management. And then investigates affecting factors effect on the performance of KMS in public sector by empirical study. A field survey of public officers in Korea local government was conducted. Complete data for 333 KMS users was analyzed to determine relationship of the research constructs. The system of evaluation and compensation is the most important factor effects on the process of KM and the performance of KMS. These results provide empirical evidence that supports the necessity of rational motivation systems does lead to effective implementation of KMS in public sector.

  • Precise prediction and control of the strip profile is crucial for automatic process set-up and operation of a hot strip mill. In the current study, we present the effect of post-deformation on the steady-state strip profile. The process was simulated by a 3-D elastic-plastic finite element (FE) analysis. Comparisons are made between the strip profile measured at the roll exit and the steady-state strip profile. The results raised an issue with regard to the importance of taking into account the effect of post-deformation.

  • Ordinary, the hotel Career Development that cooks are hi red, then OJT and evaluation, disposition. It means that cook to set in order with licence and to carry-out effect But it is not continue forever about the job demand, attitude, ability of cook. The Executive Chef and depart of career development have to plan for problems now and a long time of time to cooks. Demand of cook career development are sociality and economical. Because the hotel needs a high-grade cook for keep competitive in changing surround. internal resources are more effect ive when require without delay man power than hire urgent. It is not only lack career development to cook, probably face up to retirement at one time and foment social order but also cook lose their a right to labor. Cook supports their family and grow, economic base for ethical by labor, so have to carry their point. In addition the domestic five stars hotel's career development structure are very simple and infirm, so it cause stagnation to position, lead to negative vision and show a drop in efficiency. Therefore the hotel must investment about Career Development.

  • This Study shows the effect of the district heating on the $SO_2$ concentration reduction. In order to analyze the effect of the district heating, three alternatives were set up as follows; Alternative I represented present central heating system, and Alternative II and Alternative III represented district heating system of which the scale were different from. The concludions of this study are as follows; In case of the Alternative II and III, annual average $SO_2$ concentration are reduced by 9.0% and 14.6% respectively, and winter season $SO_2$ concentrations are reduced by 12.2% and 15.8% respectively, at the highest points. The average reduction rates of $SO_2$ concentration in the district heating area are about the same as the reduction rates at the highest points. Also, it was found that using the district heating system, the ground level $SO_2$ concentrations could be reduced within the area of 5 to 10 km radius.

  • In the engine design, it will be able to higher compression ratio and decreasing the cylinder size, if improve the vaporization of fuel and increasing the mass burned fraction in the kerosene engine. Therefore, concave, convex and straight types of hear ring set up neighborhood intake valve into the combustion chamber. The vaporization effect of fuel satisfied by heat transfer from the heat ring, but have need of selection of the location and surface area of the heat ring. Also, combustion duration of the combustion chamber with concave heat ring shorter than combustion chamber with other two types of heat ring, and about 30percent decreases in combustion duration as compared with combustion chamber without heat ring.

  • The mono-, di- and polysulfidic concentrations of the carbon black filled NR and SBR vucanizates which have different cure systems were determined. The n-decane was used as a swelling solvent. The propane-2-thiol and hexane thiol were used as specific chemical probes to cleavage the chemical crosslinks such as di- and polysulfide. In order to understand the effect of crosslink structure on the physical properties of vulcanizates, the tensile properties, fatigue failure, heat build up, compression set and viscoelastic properties were measured. From the results, the significant relationships between crosslink sturctures and physical properties, especially a gins resistance were obtained. Therefore, the better performances of the product can be satisfied by using the interpretations and approaches in this study.
