국내 외식프랜차이즈의 창업을 위한 SWOT요인의 중요도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Weight of SWOT Factors for Korea Food Service Franchise Entrepreneur)

  • IMF 외환위기 이후 기업의 주기적인 구조조정과 최근 경기 불황의 지속에 따른 명예퇴직, 조기퇴직이 증가하고, 고용 없는 경제성장으로 기업의 신규채용이 증가하지 않는다. 본 연구는 이러한 창업시장이 확대되는 사회적, 경제적 환경과 프랜차이즈 산업의 장 단점 및 산업환경에 따른 기회와 위기에 주목하여 외식프랜차이즈를 중심으로 SWOT요인의 상대적 중요도와 우선순위를 제안하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 SWOT요인들의 중요도를 분석하기 위해 AHP분석과 ANP분석을 실시하였으며 호환성에 문제가 없어 AHP 분석 결과를 활용하여 중요도 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, SWOT 분석에서 내부적 요인 중 강점요인을 약점요인보다 중요하게 생각하고 있으며 외부적 요인 중 기회요인을 위기요인보다 중요하게 생각하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국내 외식프랜차이즈 사업이 갖는 약점요인과 위기요인이 있긴 하지만 이러한 부정적인 요인보다는 강점요인과 기회요이 갖는 긍정적인 점을 더 중요하게 판단하여 국내 외식프랜차이즈의 전체적인 성장 가능성을 높이 평가한 결과라 할 것이다. 둘째, 강점요인 중에서는 업체그룹은 검증된 비즈니스모델 사용으로 사업안정화(S3)가 가장 중요도가 높았으며 전문가그룹은 가맹본부의 표준화된 제품(서비스) 및 경영지원(S2)이 가장 중요도가 높았다. 셋째, 약점요인 중에는 가맹본부와의 불리한 지위에서 협상 및 해결(W3)과 계약기간 내 계약파기 어려움과 파기 시 막대한 손실발생(W4)의 중요도 합계가 60%에 이른다. 넷째, 기회요인 중에서는 라이프 스타일, 가치관, 소비의식 구조의 변화(O3)가 압도적으로 중요하게 나왔다. 다섯째, 위기요인 중에서는 소비시장이 다양화에 따른 고객의 욕구변화(T1)를 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 다양하게 변할 소비자의 욕구를 어떻게 만족시킬 것인가가 국내 외식프랜차이즈의 위기를 극복하는 가장 중요한 요인임을 반증하고 있다 할 것이다.

외국학술지 지원센터의 학술지 및 원문복사서비스의 만족도 분석 (Assessing Satisfaction on Scholarly Journals and Document Delivery Services at Foreign Journal Supporting Center)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2007년 K대학교 도서관 내에 설치된 외국학술지 지원센터에서 제공하는 학술지와 원문복사서비스의 이용자 만족도를 분석하는데 있다. 학술지의 품질에 대한 분석에서는 72명, 원문복사서비스의 품질에 대한 분석에서는 69명이 설문에 응하였다. 학술지의 품질에 대한 만족도에서는 학술지의 최신성, 유용성, 전문성에 대한 조사를 하였고, 원문복사서비스의 품질에 대해서는 원문전달의 신속성, 원문신청절차의 용이성에 대한 조사를 하였다. K대학교 외국학술지 지원센터에서 제공하는 학술지 및 원문복사서비스의 품질에 대하여 현재 이용자들의 대부분은 만족하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

  • According to the current law of national health insurance, the Minister of Health and Welfare can impose a suspension of business or license, and a fine with medical institutions who violate the law. In case that medical institutions raise an action for ity with each penalty, they ask for replacing the suspension of business with a fine during the pendency of the action. But there is a long gap of time between an offense and administrative measures. One violation cause several types of administrative measures (suspension of business or fine, suspension of license etc.) and different government departments impose these penalties. It takes a lot of time to organize their opinions and they are liable to impose penalties after considerable space of time because of overwhelming tasks. Then the medical institutions can sustain a loss by getting unexpected administrative measures after their offense against the law. Thus, this article review whether extinctive prescription apply to the right of imposing fine on the law of national health insurance or not. Meanwhile, we have no regulations imposing a same fine to co-representatives of medical institution who infringe the law of national health insurance. On this point, this study review whether they have equal duty on that or not.

블레이드 표면거칠기에 따른 터빈 성능저하 (Turbine Performance Degradation Due to Blade Surface Roughness)

  • Turbine blades experience significant surface degradation with service. This paper presents experimental evidence of blade surface roughness reducing turbine efficiency. Performance tests were conducted in a low speed, single-stage axial flow turbine rig with roughened blade surfaces. Sheets of sandpaper with equivalent sandgrain roughnesses of 106 and $400{\mu}m$ were used to roughen the blades. In these tests, effects of roughened stator vanes and rotor blades were separately evaluated. In the fully rough regime ($k_{s}=400{\mu}m$), the experimental results show an 11 percent decrease in normalized efficiency with roughness only on stator vanes ; an 8 percent decrease with roughness only on rotor blades ; and a 19 percent decrease with roughness on both the stator and rotor blades. In the transitionally rough regime ($k_{s}=106{\mu}m$), the trends are similar approximately 4 percent decrease with either roughened stator or roughened rotor and an 8 percent decrease with roughness on both stator and rotor blades. Thus, roughened stator vanes incur more performance penalty than roughened rotor blades.

Factors Affecting Reproductive Performance in the Nepalese Pakhribas Pig:Effects of Nutrition and Housing during Gilt Rearing

  • The effects of housing and nutrition on the performance of growing gilts of the Nepalese Pakhribas breed were investigated. A total of 36 pigs were allocated according to a factorial design with 3 levels of nutrition, provided to achieve a target growth rate of 200, 300 or 400 g/day, and two types of housing, traditional or improved. The growth rate and body composition were monitored during the growing period and subsequent pregnancy. There was a significantly higher growth rate (p<0.01), greater $P_2$ backfat thickness (p<0.01), and greater eye muscle depth (p<0.01) at service in pigs given the higher level of nutrition. Similarly, there was a significantly higher growth rate (p<0.05), and greater eye muscle depth (p<0.10) with improved housing but no significant difference in $P_2$ backfat thickness. The conception rate was 90% at first service, with no difference between treatments. Gilts from the high plane of rearing produced a mean litter size of one piglet greater than those on the low plane, but this was not significant with the limited numbers. However, both improved plane of nutrition and reduced climatic penalty by improving housing resulted in increased birthweight of piglets (p<0.05). It is concluded that improvement in housing can give benefits equivalent to at least a 7% improvement in efficiency of feed use under traditional Nepalese circumstances for pig rearing.

Adjusting the Retry Limit for Congestion Control in an Overlapping Private BSS Environment

  • Since 802.11 wireless LANs are so widely used, it has become common for numerous access points (APs) to overlap in a region, where most of those APs are managed individually without any coordinated control. This pattern of wireless LAN usage is called the private OBSS (Overlapping Basic Service Set) environment in this paper. Due to frame collisions across BSSs, each BSS in the private OBSS environment suffers severe performance degradation. This study approaches the problem from the perspective of congestion control rather than noise or collision resolution. The retry limit, one of the 802.11 attributes, could be used for traffic control in conjunction with TCP. Reducing the retry limit causes early discard of a frame, and it has a similar effect of random early drops at a router, well known in the research area of congestion control. It makes the shared link less crowded with frames, and then the benefit of fewer collisions surpasses the penalty of less strict error recovery. As a result, the network-wide performance improves and so does the performance of each BSS eventually. Reducing the retry limit also has positive effects of merging TCP ACKs and reducing HOL-like blocking time at the AP. Extensive experiments have validated the idea that in the OBSS environment, reducing the retry limit provides better performance, which is contrary to the common wisdom. Since our strategy is basically to sacrifice error recovery for congestion control, it could yield side-effects in an environment where the cost of error recovery is high. Therefore, to be useful in general network and traffic environments, adaptability is required. To prove the feasibility of the adaptive scheme, a simple method to dynamically adjust the value of the retry limit has been proposed. Experiments have shown that this approach could provide comparable performance in unfriendly environments.

스토킹 처벌규정 도입의 필요성에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the need of the Implementation for Criminal Penalty of Stalking)

  • 스토킹은 최근 사회의 변화와 정보통신기술의 발달에 따라 더욱 다양화되고 수법이 발전하고 있으나 스토킹이 중한 범죄로 이어지기 전에 예방적으로 대처할 수 있는 현행 법률이 거의 없어 초기 대응이 어렵다. 우리나라의 스토킹 규제 관련 법안은 1999년 발의된 이후 제18대 국회까지 4개의 법안이 발의되었으나 입법화되지 못하였고, 제19대 국회에서도 2개의 법안이 발의되어 있는 상황이다. 스토킹은 피해자의 정신적, 신체적 자유의 영역을 침해하는 상습적이고 고의적인 범죄이다. 미국, 영국, 독일, 일본 등 선진국에서 스토킹 규제 관련 법률을 마련하여 적절한 대처를 하고 있는 것처럼 우리나라도 스토킹 행위에 대한 효과적 대응과 피해자의 보호를 위해 관련 법률의 도입이 요청된다.

의료서비스 마케팅을 위한 품질지각과 만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Qulity Perceptions and Satisfaction for Medical Service Marketing)

  • INSTRODUCTION Service quality is, unlike goods quality, an abstract and elusive constuct. Service quality and its requirements are not easily understood by consumers, and also present some critical research problems. However, quality is very important to marketers and consumers in that it has many strategic benefits in contributing to profitability of marketing activities and consumers' problem-solving activities. Moreover, despite the phenomenal growth of medical service sector, few researchers have attempted to define and model medical service quality. Especially, little research has focused on the evaluation of medical service quality and patient satisfaction from the perspectives of both the provider and the patient. As competition intensifies and patients are demanding higher quality of medical service, medical service quality and patient satisfaction has emerged as a critical research topic. The major purpose of this article is to explore the concept of medical service quality and its evaluation from both nurse and patient perspectives. This article attempts to achieve its purpose by (1)classfying critical service attibutes into threecategories(satisfiers, hygiene factors, and performance factors). (2)measuring the relative importance of need criteria, (3)evaluating SERVPERF model and SERVQUAL model in medical service sector, and (4)identifying the relationship between perceived quality and overall patient satisfaction. METHOD Data were gathered from a sample of 217 patients and 179 nurses in Seoul-area general hospitals. From the review of previous literature, 50 survey items representing various facets of the medical service quality were developed to form a questionnaire. A five-point scale ranging from "Strongly Agree"(5) to "Strongly Disagree"(1) accompanied each statement(expectation statements, perception statements, and importance statements). To measure overall satisfaction, a seven-point scale was used, ranging from "Very Satisfied"(7) to "Very Dissatisfied"(1) with no verbal labels for scale points 2 through 6 RESULTS In explaining the relationship between perceived performance and overall satisfaction, only 31 variables out of original 50 survey items were proven to be statistically significant. Hence, a penalty-reward analysis was performed on theses 31 critical attributes to find out 17 satisfiers, 8 hygiene factors, and 4 performance factors in patient perspective. The role(category) of each service quality attribute in relation to patient satisfaction was com pared across two groups, that is, patients and nurses. They were little overlapped, suggesting that two groups had different sets of 'perceived quality' attributes. Principal components factor analyses of the patients' and nurses' responses were performed to identify the underlying dimensions for the set of performance(experience) statements. 28 variables were analyzed by using a varimax rotation after deleting three obscure variables. The number of factors to be extracted was determined by evaluating the eigenvalue scores. Six factors wereextracted, accounting for 57.1% of the total variance. Reliability analysis was performed to refine the factors further. Using coefficient alpha, scores of .84 to .65 were obtained. Individual-item analysis indicated that all statements in each of the factors should remain. On 26 attributes of 31 critical service quality attributes, there were gaps between actual patient's importance of need criteria and nurse perceptions of them. Those critical attributes could be classified into four categories based on the relative importance of need criteria and perceived performance from the perspective of patient. This analysis is useful in developing strategic plans for performance improvement. (1) top priorities(high importance and low performance) (in this study)- more health-related information -accuracy in billing - quality of food - appointments at my convenience - information about tests and treatments - prompt service of business office -adequacy of accommodations(elevators, etc) (2) current strengths(high importance and high performance) (3)unnecessary strengths(low importance and high performance) (4) low priorities(low importance and low performance) While 26 service quality attributes of SERPERF model were significantly related to patient satisfation, only 13 attributes of SERVQUAL model were significantly related. This result suggested that only experience-based norms(SERVPERF model) were more appropriate than expectations to serve as a benchmark against which service experiences were compared(SERVQUAL model). However, it must be noted that the degree of association to overall satisfaction was not consistent. There were some gaps between nurse percetions and patient perception of medical service performance. From the patient's viewpoint, "personal likability", "technical skill/trust", and "cares about me" were most significant positioning factors that contributed patient satisfaction. DISCUSSION This study shows that there are inconsistencies between nurse perceptions and patient perceptions of medical service attributes. Also, for service quality improvement, it is most important for nurses to understand what satisfiers, hygiene factors, and performance factors are through two-way communications. Patient satisfaction should be measured, and problems identified should be resolved for survival in intense competitive market conditions. Hence, patient satisfaction monitoring is now becoming a standard marketing tool for healthcare providers and its role is expected to increase.

한국 컨테이너 해상화물 표준장기운송계약서 쟁점에 관한 연구 - 손해배상예정액과 최소약정물량을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Disputable Issues of the Standard Form of Korea Service Contract - Focusing on Liquidated Damage and Minimum Quantity Commitment -)

  • 본 연구는 컨테이너 해상화물 표준장기운송계약서 내용과 쟁점에 관한 연구이다. 한국은 한진해운 파산을 계기로 컨테이너 해상화물 부분에 장기계약 제도 및 표준장기운송계약서를 제작 배포(2019)하였으며 이후 공급망 위기때에 표준장기운송계약서를 개정(2022)하였다. 표준장기운송계약서는 선화주의 이해가 달라 합의가 필요한 항목들이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 표준장기운송계약서의 주요 내용을 분석하고 선화주에게 미치는 실무적 의미를 도출하였다. 아울러 표준장기운송계약서 제정과정에서 선화주의 최대 쟁점사항인 손해배상액예정액과 최소약정물량 대한 내용 및 성격과 의미를 분석하여 선화주가 동 조항에 대한 이해가 어떻게 달라지는지 분석해 보였다. 결론적으로 선화주는 장기운송계약에 손해배상예정액을 책정할 시 매우 합리적인 수준으로 책정해야 위약벌로 손해배상청구 소송을 별도로 진행하지 않게 된다. 또한 최소약정물량 책정과 더불어 균등 배분은 선사에게 매우 중요한 항목이기에 이를 포함하되 성수기에도 화주의 추가 선복 요구를 수용할 수 있도록 하는 우대 조건이 필요하다. 아울러 화주는 위약벌 대신 다른 장기계약에서도 활용 중인 이행보증을 통해 계약의 이행을 담보하는 것도 고려해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

내재된 인자회귀모형의 베이지안 분석법 (Bayesian analysis of latent factor regression model)

  • 선형모형에서 두개 이상의 설명변수들 사이에 존재하는 다중공선성 문제를 변수들 간에 내재되어 있는 공통의 구조인 인자를 구성하고, 인자들을 회귀변수로 사용하여 해결하는 인자회귀모형에 대하여 논의한다. 무한개로 가정 가능한 내재된 인자 중 유의미한 인자적재행렬을 구성하기 위하여 벌점모수의 값이 큰 LASSO 사전분포를 적용하는 베이지안 추정법을 사용한다. 결정된 인자적재행렬과 다른 모수들의 추정값을 각 설명변수의 선형모수로 역변환 하여, 새로운 관측값에 대한 예측 모형으로도 사용한다. 제안한 방법을 제품 서비스 관리 자료에 적용하여 정해진 인자의 개수에 대한 인자가 일반적인 공통인자회귀모형과 동일한 결과를 나타냄을 확인하였고, 일반적인 공통인자회귀모형과 비교를 위해 계산한 평균 제곱 오차값이 더 작다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
