  • This paper describes a modeling of service composition manager based on TINA (Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture). The Service composition function is mainly motivated by the desire to easily generate new service using existing services from retailers or $3^{rd}$-party service providers. The TINA-C specification for the service composition does not include the detailed composition procedure and its object models. In this paper, we propose a model of components for the service composition, which adapts a static composition feature in a single provider domain. To validate the proposed modeling, we implemented prototype service composition function, which combines two multimedia services; a VOD service and a VCS service. As a result, we obtain the specification of the detailed composition architecture between a retailer domain and a $3^{rd}$-party service provider domain.

  • A service composition has received much interest to provide users with the ad-hoc, seamless, and context-sensitive services dynamically composed from various networked services in context-aware computing environments. In this paper, with the purpose of guiding trends in the researches for dynamic service composition technologies, we investigate and analyze the major related works. For this, we separate semantic based composition from syntax based composition and then establish the comparison criteria by dividing the service composition processes into 3 steps:definition, construction, and execution.

  • Service oriented architecture (SOA) lends itself to model the application components to coarse-grained services in such a way that the composition of different services could be feasible. Service composition fulfills numerous service requirements by constructing composite applications with various services. As it is the case in many real-world applications, different users have diverse QoS demands issuing for composite applications. In this paper, we present a service composition framework for a typical service overlay network (SON) considering both multiple QoS constraints and load balancing factors. Moreover, a service selection algorithm based on niching technique and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed for the service composition problem. It supports optimization problems with multiple constraints and objective functions, whether linear or nonlinear. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm results in an acceptable level of efficiency regarding the service composition objective under different circumstances.

  • In this paper we designed a service composition architecture which enables the functional extension of existing service or the creation of new service by combining more than one service. The designed composition architecture is based on the service architecture of the TINA-C. It is designed by extending TINA information model and computational model. Composition related object, relations and interface between objects are defined in the information model and the computational model. And we tested the designed architecture by implementing two multimedia service and composition the services.

  • This paper is to provide the method of dynamic service composition in ubiquitous environment. This method is extended of Service Component Architecture, which is a standard about service composition. This standard only supports service composition in system design time. It has problem we cannot it ubiquitous environment, requests dynamic service composition. To solve this problem, we suggest dynamic service composition method based on SCA.

  • The service composition based on Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) can make us view various machines or its functionalities in the Web or Internet-of-Things environment as 'service', and efficiently create new value-added services that users want by compositing different services if there is no service to satisfy the client. The service composition problem with respect to behavioral descriptions deals with the automatic synthesis of a coordinator service that controls a set of services to reach a goal state. Despite its importance, however, solving the service composition problem with only partial observations remains to be doubly exponential in the number of variables in service descriptions, rendering any attempts to compute an exact solution for modest size impractical. Toward this challenge, in this paper, we propose novel approximation-based approaches using abstraction methods. We empirically validate that our proposals can solve realistic problems efficiently.

  • Consistency of web service composition is a challenge for developing business applications. As web services are naturally changeable, the way to deliver consistent web services composition over unreliable web services could pose a significant problem. We propose a framework for semantic web services in healthcare domain that automatically performs web service discovery, composition and quality of service assurance, and, performs error handling through the replacement policy and fault-tolerant composition of web services that mixes both exception managing and transaction approaches. The framework enables the development of personalized healthcare systems.

  • In mobile social network, it is a critical challenge to select an optimal set of devices to supply high quality service constantly under dynamic network topology and the limit of device capacity in mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). In this paper, a multi-devices composition and maintenance problem is proposed with ubiquitous service model and network model. In addition, a multi-devices composition and maintenance approach with dynamic planning is proposed to deal with this problem, consisting of service discovery, service composition, service monitor and service recover. At last, the simulation is implemented with OPNET and MATLAB and the result shows this mechanism is better applied to support complex ubiquitous service.

  • Web Services have been utilized in a wide variety of applications and have turned into a key technology in developing business operations on the Web. Originally, Web Services can be exploited in an isolated form, however when no single Web Service can satisfy the functionality required by a user, there should be a possibility to compose existing services together in order to fulfill the user requirement. However, since the same service may be offered by different providers with different non-functional Quality of Service (QoS), the task of service selection for Web Service composition is becoming complicated. Also, as Web Services are inherently unreliable, how to deliver reliable Web Services composition over unreliable Web Services should be considered while composing Web Services. In this paper, we propose an approach on a QoS-aware Web Service selection for reliable Web Service composition. In our approach, we select and classify Web Services using Decision Tree based on QoS attributes provided by the client. Service classifier will improve selection of relevant Web Services early in the composition process and also provide flexibility to replace a failed Web Services with a redundant alternative Web Services, resulting in high availability and reliability of Web Service composition. We will provide an implementation of our proposed approach along with efficiency measurements through performance evaluation.
