단백질과 마그네슘 공급수준이 흰쥐의 혈청중 지질함량 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Protein and Magnesium Levels on Serum Lipid Contents and Enzyme Activities in Rats)

  • To study the effects of dietary protein and magnesium level on serum lipid contents and enzyme activities, male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into six groups. Six groups of animals were fed six experimental diets different with protein(8% and 20%) and magnesium levels (Mg-free, 400mg/kg diet and 800mg/kg diet). The serum lipid contents and enzyme activities of rats fed different dietary protein and magnesium levels were examined. Serum triglyceride contents was significantly decreased as the dietary magnesium level was increased. Serum phospholipid contents was significantly higher in magnesium deficient group than those in the other groups. Serum alkaline phosphatase activity was significantly decreased in magnesium dificient group compared with other groups, but serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase and glutamic pyruvic transaminase activities was significantly increased in magnesium dificient group than other groups. In conclusion, serum triglyceride contents in low protein level was remarkably decreased as the dietary magnesium level was increased.

칼슘급원과 섭취수준이 노령 암컷흰쥐의 혈청 및 대퇴골에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Source and Intake Level of Calcium on Serum and Femur in Aged Female Rats)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effect of dietary dried anchovy and non-fat dried milk on serum and femur Ten months old female rats were divieded into 6 groups(ST, A-middle, A-high, M-middle, M-high, A+M), and fed the diet containing different level of food calcium for 8 weeks. The results obtained were summerized as follow: 1. The rats' weight gain were not significantly different from the fed groups, but food intake were significantly higher or lower level in the group of A-high than the other groups. 2. Serum calcium concentration was significantly increased in the A-middle group, the M-high group were significantly decreased. Serum phosphorous contents of M-high group were increased significantly higher than ST group. The serum magnesium contents were increased significantly higher than in the A-middle group. Serum iron contents of other experimental groups were significantly higher than ST group. All experimental groups were significantly lower copper contents in serum than ST group. 3. The more rats took dried anchovy and non-fat dried milk, the longer the length of femur. But this trend is not statistically difference. In the breaking force of left femur, most of all experimental group were stronger than ST group. 4. The calcium, phosphorous contents of ash, dry, wet weight of right femur in A+M group were higher than any other groups.

  • The effects of 3% Cortex Eucommiae extracts on serum lipid contents were evaluated in rats. Forty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing $100{\pm}10g$ were divided into seven groups and fed different fat diets for four weeks. Each group was administered with following group: Control, basal fat diet, saturated fat diet and unsaturated fat diet respectively was fed 1% cholesterol, Cortex Eucommiae extracts 3%. The contents of serum lipid contents triglyceride in the basal fat diet group were higher than those of control group. The contents of total-cholesterol in serum of the saturated fat diet group was significantly higher than other group. The contents of HDL-cholesterol in serum of the 3% Cortex Eucommiae extract group were higher than those other fat diet group. The contents of LDL-cholesterol in serum of the 3% Cortex Eucommiae ex1ract group was lower than other fat diet groups. These results suggest that 3% Cortex Eucommiae extract group may reduced elevated levels of serum lipid contents in rats different fed fat diet.

흰쥐의 담즙 상실이 혈청 지질과 Gastrin 대사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Bile Deprivation on Serum Lipids and Gastrin in the Rat)

  • The effect of bile deprivation on serum lipid and gastrin contents was investigat\ulcornered after choledocho-urinary cystostomy in Sprague-Dawley rats. Bile deprivated rats were compared with sham operated control group. Gastrin levels in serum and antral tissue were measured and serum lipid concentrations were also measured. Gastrin levels of serum and tissue after bile deprivation were increased significantly compared with those of the controL At the end of 1st and 2nd week after bile deprivation, serum cholesterol and triglyceride contents were significantly lower han those of the control. By 4th week, there was no significant difference between two groups. Increases in serum and antral gastrin levels temporarily coincided well with decreases in serum lipid contents after bile deprivation. These results suggest that there is increase in biosynthesis and release of gastrin and decrease in fat absorption at early stage of bile deprivation.

유채유 함유사료가 쥐의 혈청 및 간의 지질조성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Rapeseed Oil Diet on Serum and Liver Lipid Levels in Rats)

  • The fatty acid composition of a rapeseed oil being on the market was analyzed and the effect on gain of the body weight and lipid levels in serum and liver tissue of male rats of Sprague-Dawely strain fed the diet containing the rapeseed oil were studied. The fatty acid components of marketed rapeseed oil was oleic acid 29.4%, erucic acid 26.52%, linoleic acid 20.39% and linolenic acid 8.68%. The contents of total lipid in serum W3S Significantly higher in RSO20 group than Contr01 group(P< 0.01) . But that in the liver tissue did 001 show significant differences. The contents of triglyceride in serum was control group 84.14mg/dll, RSO15 group 100.33mg 141 and RSO20 group 122.00mg 141 and showed significant difference between each group, but that in the livertissue did not show significant differences. The contents of phospholipid in serum did not show significant differences. But that in the liver tissue showed significant difference between the control group 8.42mg /g and Rs02o group 7.34mg /g(p<0.001). The contents of total-cholesterol and free-cholesterol in serum and liver tissue of the RSO20 group showed the highest levels compared with control group, but there did not show significant differences. The contents of ester-cholesterol in serum showed significant.

  • In order to investigate the pharmacological action of the combined preparation of crude drugs, 'Saengkankunbi-Tang' were studied. These studies were conducted in an attempt to investigate the effect of 'Saengkankunbi-Tang' on activities of the liver enzyme, protein contents and the excretory action of bile juice in the serum of $CCl_4-intoxicated$ rabbits. The results of this investigate were summarized as follows; GOT, GPT activities and total cholesterol contents in the serum of rabbits induced by $CCl_4$ were shown to the remarkable decrease with the passage of the time in the oral administration of the sample. Albumin contents in the serum of rabbits induce by $CCl_4$ were noted to the significant increase with the passage of the time. Serum total protein contents were noted to the significant increase only the 4th and 6th day. BSP accumulation contents in the serum of rabbits induced by $CCl_4$ showed the remarkable decrease with the passage of the time.

비색법에 의한 한우 혈청단백질의 분획정량 시험 (Studies on Separation and Determination of Korean Bovine Serum Protein by Colorimetric Method)

  • Serum Samples from adult of Korean cattles including 40 females and 20 males were analyzed by sodium salt precipitation and colorimetric method in the purpose of the determination of total serum protein, albumin, globulin, ${\alpha}$-globulin, ${\beta}$-globulin and ${\gamma}$-globulin. The results obtained arc summarized as follows: 1. Mean value of total serum protein showed a slight variation from 7.6%, and its regional and sex differences were not found to be significant. 2. Contents of albumin in serum showed lower level than that of globulin as low level of A/G ratio 0.4 in proportion. 3. Contents of Serum ${\alpha}$-globulin showed 1.4w/v% and $1.51{\pm}0.46$w/v% in each group of female, and $1.31{\pm}0.26$w/v%, in the group of male. 4. Contents of serum ${\beta}$-globulin showed 1.74w/v%, 1.95w/v%, in each group of female, and 1.82w/v% in the group of male. 5. Contents of serum ${\gamma}$-globulin showed 2.32w/v%, 2.30w/v% in each group of female, and 2.30w/v%, in the group of male.

월견초(月見草)가 고지혈증(高脂血症)에 미치는 영향(影響) (A Experimental Study on the Effect of Evening primrose on Hyperlipidemia)

  • In order to study the anti-hyperlipidemic effects of Evening primrose, the changes of body weight, serum total cholesterol, serum HDL-cholesterol, serum triglyceride, serum LDL-cholesterol, serum total lipid and organ weight were observed after the liquid extracts of Single-dosage Evening primrose and Double-dosage Evening primrose were administered p.o to the hypercholestemic and hypertriglyceremic rats induced by 1% cholesterol diet during 10, 20, 30 days. The result were summarized as follows ; 1. The contents of body weight compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group during 10, 30 days and in double-dosage Evening primrose group did not show significant value. 2. The contents of serum total cholesterol with control group tend to be decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group, but did not show significant value. Double-dosage Evening primrose group showed significant value during 20, 30 days. 3. The contents of serum HDL-cholesterol compared with control group was significantly increased in single-dosage Evening primrose group during 10, 20, 30 days. Double-dosage Evening primrose group showed significantly value during 30 days. 4. The contents of serum triglyceride compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group during 10, 30 days. Double-dosage Evening primrose group showed significant value during 20 days. 5. The contents of serum LDL-cholesterol compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group during 10 days. Double-dosage Evening primrose group showed significant value during 10, 20, 30 days. 6. The contents of serum total lipid compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group during 20 days. Double-dosage Evening primrose group showed significant value during 20, 30 days. 7. The contents of liver weight compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group and double-dosage Evening primrose group. The contents of kidney weight compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group. The contents of spleen weight compared with control group was significantly decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group and double-dosage Evening primrose group. The contents of testis weight compared with control group tend to decreased in single-dosage Evening primrose group and double-dosage Evening primrose group, put did not show a significant value. From the above results, it was thought that Evening primrose could be applied effectively to the Hyperlipidemia.

시판(市販) 음료수(飮料水)가 백서(白鼠) 혈청내(血淸內) 성분(成分)에 미치는 영향(影響) (A Study on the Change of Serum Components in Rats by Feeding the Diet with Soft Drink)

  • This experiment was designed to observe some influence on the serum components in rats by feeding basal diet (Protein contents: 20.0%; lipid contents: 3.5%) with soft water (Water, Carbonated cider, Cola and Fanta). Fourty male Albino rats were used as the experimental animals and the subjects were devided into four feeding group and each group was fed on the corresponding diet for six weeks. The contents of protein, lipid and cholesterol were determined in their serum. The obtained results are summarized as follows. 1) The protein contents in the serum was decreased by the feeding of the Carbonated cider, Cola and Fanta compared with Water experimental group. 2) The lipid contents in the serum was similar to each feeding experimental group. 3) The total cholesterol and ester form cholesterol in the serum were decreased by the feeding of the Carbonated cider compared with Water, but were similar to the feeding of the Cola and Fanta.

솔잎추출물이 고지방식이를 급여한 흰쥐의 혈청과 간장 지질조성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pine Needle Extracts on Serum and Liver Lipid Contents in Rats Fed High Fat Diet)

  • The effects of pine needle extracts on serum and liver lipid contents were evaluated in rats. Thirty male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 329$\pm$4 were divided into five groups and fed high fat diets for four weeks. Each group was administered with following pine needle extract: control, water ; WE-3, hot water extract(3% PN) ; WE-6, hot water extract(6% PN) ; AE-3, acetone extract(3% PN) ; AE-6, acetone extract(6% PN). Weight gains were significantly lower in WE-6 group than other groups. But there was no significant difference among other three groups. Intakes of diet and water containing the extract and the weights of liver, kidney, heart and spleen were not significantly different among the groups. The contents of serum and liver triglyceride in the WE-3 group were lower than those of control group. The contents of HDL-cholesterol in serum of the WE-3 group was significantly higher than other groups. The value of risk factor index(RFI) was determined to be low especially in case of WE-3 group. Due to pine needle extract administration, concentration of liver total lipid in WE-3 group was significantly lower than that of the control group. These results suggest that the WE-3 may reduce elevated levels of serum and liver lipid contents in rat fed high fat diet.
