슬라이딩 모드 관측기에 의한 최적의 공회전 제어기 설계 (Design of Optimal Idle Speed Controller by Sliding Mode Observer)

  • This paper presents an approach to nonlinear engine idle controller and intake manifold absolute pressure(MAP) observer based on mean torque production model. A stable engine idle speed is important in that the unstable engine Idle mode can make engine to drooping or stall state. A sliding fuzzy controller has been designed to control engine idle speed under load disturbance. A sliding observer is also developed to estimate the intake manifold absolute pressure and compared with the actual MAP sensor value. The sliding mode observer has shown good robustness and good tracking performance. The inputs of sliding fuzzy controller are the errors of rpm and MAP. The output is a duty cycle(DC) for driving a idle speed control valve(ISCV).

Modeling and fast output sampling feedback control of a smart Timoshenko cantilever beam

  • This paper features about the modeling and design of a fast output sampling feedback controller for a smart Timoshenko beam system for a SISO case by considering the first 3 vibratory modes. The beam structure is modeled in state space form using FEM technique and the Timoshenko beam theory by dividing the beam into 4 finite elements and placing the piezoelectric sensor/actuator at one location as a collocated pair, i.e., as surface mounted sensor/actuator, say, at FE position 2. State space models are developed for various aspect ratios by considering the shear effects and the axial displacements. The effects of changing the aspect ratio on the master structure is observed and the performance of the designed FOS controller on the beam system is evaluated for vibration control.

  • Mobile devices do not need the fixed network infrastructure in ad-hoc network, these devices communicate each other through the distributed control. Accordingly, mobile devices can discover several services using dynamic searching method and provide safely public ownership of these services. Ad-hoc network needs the distributed control and topology of dynamic network because the limited power for processing and network communication. This paper is devoted to provide the secure protocol that provides efficient services discovery using SDP(Service Discovery Protocol) and considers the security requirements. Proposed protocol provides the distributed control based on PKI without central server, the discovery of trusted service, secure telecommunication, the identification among mobile devices, and service access control by user authority.

  • For designing intensity modulation type optical microphone, the irradiance distribution which can be applied to inclined-cut geometrical configuration is suggested. The model is important in analysis of response characteristics for intensity modulation type optical microphone. To overcome low sensitivity problem in intensity modulation type optical microphone, inclined-cut optical fiber is considered here. Based on optical geometry, the inclined-cut optical fiber sensor is designed and fabricated. The experiments are carried out to evaluate sensor performance.

  • 산화물 반도체 감지막이 동작온도에 따라 감응특성을 가지는 마이크로 흐름센서를 설계하기 위해서 통계적 수법에 기초한 Markov 체인 MCM을 이용하여 기초방정식을 정식화하고 마이크로 소자의 열 전달특성을 해석하였다. 계산 결과를 통하여 기존 유한차분법이 가지는 계산 정밀도와 차이가 없음을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 Markov 체인 MCM을 활용하면 다양한 마이크로 소자의 열전달 특성과 같은 물리적 특성을 해석하고 설계하는데 유용할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 본 논문에서 구현한 고령자 홈 트레이닝 콘텐츠는 사용자의 운동 능력에 따라 개인별 운동 처방을 하여 이를 통해 노인 개개인에게 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공한다. 고령화 인구 증가와 대비되는 노인의 낮은 건강 수명을 극복하기 위한 건강 증진은 필수적이다. 따라서 노인의 사망 위험 중 높은 비중을 차지하는 낙상을 예방하기 위한 하체 근력 강화운동이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 노인이 자연환경 속에서 본인이 운동 한다고 느낄 수 있는 홈 트레이닝 콘텐츠 개발을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 Kinect 센서를 사용하여 골격 모델의 특징점을 추출하고 특징 벡터를 생성하여 사용자의 운동 횟수를 인식하였다. 제안하는 게임 모델을 사용하여 운동 능력 테스트를 수행하고 이를 기반으로 개인의 능력에 맞는 운동을 처방받아 운동을 수행할 수 있다. 키넥트 센서의 인식 테스트 결과 80%~97%의 정확도를 보였다.

  • 컴퓨터 및 네트워크 기술이 발전하고 이에 대한 의존도가 증가함에 따라 컴퓨터의 결함은 인적 물적 손실뿐만 아니라 조직의 경쟁력을 약화시키는 결과를 초래하게 되어 정보사회의 역기능으로 컴퓨터 보안 문제가 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 침입탐지시스템(Intrusion Detection System : IDS)은 불법적인 침입에 의한 시스템 결함으로부터 컴퓨터를 보호하기 위해 침입을 탐지하고 이에 대한 적절한 조치를 취하는 역할을 수행한다. 최근까지 IDS에 대한 다양한 기법과 모델들이 개발되고 있으나 컴퓨터 통신망의 복잡성, 대상 시스템의 원초적 취약성, 정보 보호에 대한 이해 부족 및 새로운 불법 침입 기법의 개발 등으로 기존의 어떤 기법 또는 모델도 완전하지 못한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 동질형 호스트들로 구성된 정보시스템에 적합한 침입탐지시스템을 제안하고, 이를 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하여 그 타당성을 보인다. 제안한 침입탐지시스템은 여러 동질형 컴퓨터에 단위 센서 침입탐지시스템을 설치하고, 분산된 단위 센서 침입탐지시스템들 중 어느 하나가 프로세스에 의해 발생된 시스템 호출 순서 중 비정상적인 시스템 호출을 탐지한 경우 이를 다른 센서 침입탐지시스템들과 서로 동적으로 공유하여 전체 정보시스템에 대한 새로운 침입에 대하여 효율적으로 탐지할 수 있게 한다.

  • EPS (Electric Power Steering) is important device for improving vehicle's dynamics and static performances. This paper deals with simulator design for C-EPS (Colum type-EPS), development assist and returnability control algorithm. First, C-EPS system model was simply designed because EPS system is complex control system that has many unknown variables. These parameters were simplified through assumptions. Second, C-EPS simulator was designed for development of control algorithm. This simulator has SAS (Steering Angle Sensor), dual torque sensor, dual load cell for measuring rack force, dual linear actuator for generating tire force and Data Acquisition System. Using this simulator, control methods ware tested. Third, control algorithm was designed for torque assist and returnability. Assist torque map and returnability torque map were found by lots of simulation test. These torque maps were tuned for EPS actuator control. The simulation result was compared with non-EPS system result. In this research, the C-EPS simulator was designed for development of control algorithm about torque assistant and returnability. Using this simulator, control algorithm was improved.

Control of PKM machine tools using piezoelectric self-sensing actuators on basis of the functional principle of a scale with a vibrating string

  • An adaptronic strut for machine tools with parallel kinematics for compensation of the influence of geometric errors is introduced. Implemented within the strut is a piezoelectric sensor-actuator unit separated in function. In the first part of this contribution, the functional principle of the strut is presented. For use of one piezoelectric transducer as both, sensor and actuator as so-called self-sensing actuator, the acquisition of the sensing signal while actuating simultaneously using electrical bridge circuits as well as filter properties are examined. In the second part the control concept developed for the adaptronic strut is presented. A co-simulation model of the strut for simulating the controlled multi-body behavior of the strut is set-up. The control design for the strut as a stand-alone system is tested under various external loads. Finally, the strut is implemented into a model of the complete machine tool and the influence of the controlled strut onto the behavior of the machine tool is examined.

  • Wireless sensor networking technology is one of the basic infrastructures for ubiquitous environment. It enables us to gather various sensory data such as temperature, humidity, gas leakage, and speed from the remote sensor devices. To support these networking functions, IEEE WPAN working group makes standards for PHY and MAC, while ZigBee Alliance defines the standards for the network, security, and applications. The low-rate WPAN was emerged to have the characteristics of network resilience, low cost, and low power consumption. It has a broad range of applications including, but not limit to industrial control and monitoring, home automation, disaster forecast and monitoring, health care. In order to provide more intelligent and robust services, users want voice-based solutions to accommodate to low-rate WPAN. In this paper, we have evaluated voice quality of an IEEE 802.15.4 standard compliant voice node. Specifically, it includes the design of a voice node and experiments based on the prediction of voice quality using the E-model suggested by ITU-T G.107, and the network communication mechanisms considering beacon-enabled and nonbeacon-enabled networks for real-time voice communications.
