This study was carried out to determine the factor of a separating system according to the pepper varieties and the absence of a card cleaner system. The pepper varieties of Jeokyoung and AR-Legend were transplanted on November 20, 2019 and tested on March 18, 2020 with a harvesting speed of 0.2 m·s-1 for 10 pepper plants. The performance evaluation was determined by analyzing the separation efficiency of the peppers and the foreign matter mixing rate. The pepper harvester with a card cleaner showed a higher separation efficiency of the peppers compared to the pepper harvester without a card cleaner. The average separation efficiency of peppers on the pepper harvester with a card cleaner was higher at 13.5% for Jeokyoung and 1.9% for AR-Legend than that without a card cleaner. The mixing ratio of foreign materials on the pepper harvester with a card cleaner was lower at 8.7% and 2.5% for Jeokyoung and AR-Legend than that without a card cleaner, respectively. For the two-way ANOVA results according to the variety and the card cleaner, there was no effect on the separation efficiency of the peppers, but there was an effect on the foreign matter mixing rate.

Self-leveling material(SLM) is one of the floor finishing materials which make flat surface like as water level by itself in a short time. So it is possible to increase construction speed and enhance economical efficiency In this study, author intended to develop SLM for the industrial warehouse and factory loading heavy weight machinery and vehicles. The demanded properties for this type of SLM are above 200mm of flow value and above 300kgf/$cm^2$ of 28-days compressive strength. To possess demended strength and fluidity, SLM have to be composed of many types of binders and chemical additives. So it is difficult to decide suitable mixing proportion of composition materials. In this study, author investigated the weight percentage effect of main composition materials for high-strength self-leveling material, by experimental design such as tables of orthogonal arrays and simplex design, and by statistical analysis such as analysis of variance and analysis of response surface. Variables of experiments were ordinary Portland cement(OPC), alumina cement(AC), anhydrous gypsum(AG), lime stone(LS) and sand, and properties of tests were fluidity of fresh state and strength of hardened state. Results of this study are showed that suitable mix proportions of binders for the high strength self-leveling materials are two groups. One is 78~85.5% OPC, 7.5~9.5% AC, 9~12.5% AG and the other is 72.5~78% OPC, 9~12.5% AC, 13~15% AG.
The surfactant self-diffusion coefficients of mixed micellar solutions of ionic and nonionic surfactants have been measured by the NMR pulsed field gradient spin echo(FT-PGSE) method. In addition, the line widths of $^1H$ NMR signal have been monitored. The system investgated are $C_{12}EO_5/SDS/D_2O$, $C_{12}EO_5/DTAC/D_2O$, and $C_{12}EO_8/SDS/D_2O$. In the sample series, the molar ratios of $D_2O$ to surfactant(ionic+nonionic) were kept constant while the surfactant mixing ratio was varied. For the $C_{12}EO_5$ system, the surfactant self-diffusion coefficient indicates minimum when the surfactant mixing ratio is about 20% ionic surfactant. The observed decrease in self-diffusion coefficients as nonionic surfactant was replaced by ionic surfactant is interpreted to mainly be due to an increased micelle-micelle repulsion. The increase in self-diffusion coefficients occurring at higher fraction of ionic surfactant is shown to be due to a decrease in micelle size. For the $C_{12}EO_8$ system, the effect of the surfactant mixing ratio is much weaker which can be understood by considering the molecular geometry and large headgroup area. The proton NMR line widths correlate well with the self-diffusion coefficients and broadening of the alkyl chain methylene signals is found when the self-diffusion coefficients is low.
A self actuated photocatalyst $Weltouch^{(R)}$ used to the remove the odor gases generated in the foaming process of shoes insole was prepared by sol-gel method and studied its property. Specially, with mixing $Weltouch^{(R)}$ in the foaming process of shoes insole, the physical functionality such as specific gravity, hardness, elongation, compression set was studied. The physical functionality of shoes insole was no variation by added $Weltouch^{(R)}$. The odor gases generated in the foaming process of shoes insole was detected to be reduced to 60~80% by self actuated photocataylst $Weltouch^{(R)}$ even in the dark conditions, which was observed for both anatase and rutile phase.
A numerical study is carried out to investigate combustion phenomena in a model SCRamjet engine, which has been experimentally studied at the Australian National University using a T3 free-piston shock tunnel. The Mach number is 3.8, the static pressure 110kPa and the static temperature 1100K in the main air flow. The fuel is hydrogen, which is injected in the cavity. Equivalence ratio is set to either 0.25 or 0.5 to access its effect on the fuel-air mixing combustion phenomena. The results show that the cavity generates several recirculation zones, which increase the fuel-air mixing. Self ignition occurs near the point of fuel injection. The flame is anchored by the cavity and generates the precombustion shock on the step. For a high equivalence ratio, the recirculation zones are bigger and the flame is present throughout the combustor.

Recently, related studies on the application of bacterial spores to self-healing concrete have been widely reported. Using the self-healing method of bacterial spores as a kind of pro-environment, the green method is very attractive, but because the living environment of bacterial spores is relatively harsh, it is necessary to have a way to separate the living environment of bacterial spores from the harsh external environment, And release bacterial spores when needed. Therefore, capsules are widely used in self-healing concrete. To enhance the self-healing effect, the capsules need to be evenly distributed in the concrete. Furthermore, we develop a CIP-based smart capsule with controllability. We determined the magnetic force of each capsule by mixing CIP in resin, then mass-fabricating the capsules for self-healing by a microfluidic method, and by measuring the kinetic distance of the capsules containing different amounts of cip under the action of a magnetic field strength. The results show that with the increase of the amount of cip, the active distance of the capsule also increases. When the cip is 8wt%, the active distance reaches 1.75cm. We believe this research can provide momentum for the development of self-healing capsule applications.
This study investigated the flowability and mechanical properties of cost-effective steel fiber reinforced ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) by using locally available materials for field-cast application. To examine the effect of mixture constituents, five mixtures with different fractions of silica fume, silica powder, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), silica sand, and crushed natural sand were proportionally prepared. Comprehensive experiments for different mixture designs were conducted to evaluate the fresh- and hardened-state properties of self-consolidating UHPC. The results showed that the proposed UHPC had similar mechanical properties compared with conventional UHPC while the flow retention over time was enhanced so that the field-cast application seemed appropriately cost-effective. The self-consolidating UHPC with high flowability and low viscosity takes less total mixing time than conventional UHPC up to 6.7 times. The X-ray computed tomographic imaging was performed to investigate the steel fiber distribution inside the UHPC by visualizing the spatial distribution of steel fibers well. Finally, the tensile stress-strain curve for the proposed UHPC was proposed for the implementation to the structural analysis and design.

This study is to manufacture HSCC (High flowing Self-Compacting Concrete) be able to construction without vibration & hardening, and it is stable according to the change of the surface number of aggregate and to examine the factor of reduction occurred before after hardening through the indoor experiment. It is essential to use of the thickener to increase the viscosity in the combined HSCC. In this result, it make more bubbles than HSCC of pulverulent body. The result of study has shown, through the surface air bubble by not passed air bubbles within concrete after hardening, It has bad effect in not only appearance of structures but strength & duration. It is the experiment for air bubble of concrete according to the types of aggregate (fine aggregate), mixing time of concrete, exfoliation, material of model form and so that reduce the air bubble of combined HSCC. Experiments have shown, the effect of exfoliation was bigger than the effect of form for the performance of surface finishing of combined HSCC after hardening according to the exfoliation or material of model form and the opaque guris has good condition of finishing.
The analytic and numerical solution of the 1$\frac{1}{2}$-layer and 2$\frac{1}{2}$-layer models are derived. The large coastal-sea level drop and the fast westward speed of the anticyclonic gyre due to strong offshore winds using two ocean models are investigated. The models are forced by wind stress fields similar in structure to the intense mountain-pass jets(${\sim}$20 dyne/$cm^{2}$) that appear in the Gulfs of Tehuantepec and Papagayo in the Central America for periods of 3${\sim}$7 days. Analytic and numerical solutions compare favorably with observations, the large sea-level drop (${\sim}$30 cm) at the coast and the fast westward propagation speeds (${\sim}$13 km/day) of the gyres. The coastal sea-level drop is enhanced by several factors: horizontal mixing, enhanced forcing, coastal geometry, and the existence of a second active layer in the 2$\frac{1}{2}$-layer model. Horizontal mixing enhances the sea-level drop because the coastal boundary layer is actually narrower with mixing. The forcing ${\tau}$/h is enhanced near the coast where h is thin. Especially, in analytic solutions to the 2$\frac{1}{2}$-layer model the presence of two baroclinic modes increases the sea-level drop to some degree. Of theses factors the strengthened forcing ${\tau}$/h has the largest effect on the magnitude of the drop, and when all of them are included the resulting maximum drop is -30.0 cm, close to observed values. To investigate the processes that influence the propagation speeds of anticyclonic gyre, several test wind-forced calculations were carried out. Solutions to dynamically simpler versions of the 1$\frac{1}{2}$-layer model show that the speed is increased both by ${\beta}$-induced self-advection and by larger h at the center ofthe gyres. Solutions to the 2$\frac{1}{2}$-layer model indicate that the lower-layer flow field advects the gyre westward and southward, significantly increasing their propagation speed. The Papagayo gyre propagates westward at a speed of 12.8 km/day, close to observed speeds.

The objective of the paper is to investigate the effect of mix designing factors on the workability and rheological parameters of self compacting concrete in order to facilitate the difficulties of quality control of high sensitivity of SCC. Mix proportions of SCC were prepared with various conditions of coarse, and fine aggregate, and unit water content, and the SCC mixtures were tested on workability, rheological properties to provide basic data for quantitative evaluation. Test results indicated that the yield stress of SCC decreased with increasing the coarse aggregate volume ratio, and increased with increasing the amount of VMA. However, unit water content, fine aggregate type, and air content didn't affect the yield stress value. The plastic viscosity according to the mixing factors showed a similar tendency to the yield stress. In addition, there was no correlation between yield stress and workability (flow, T50, V-lot). However, there was closely correlation among plastic viscosity and T50 and V-lot. Especially, T50 and V-lot time decreased with decreasing plastic viscosity.
