The Supreme Court made a decision that the doctor cannot be punished for not taking a blood transfusion to the patient, depending on the patient's will to refuse the blood transfusion on June 24, 2014. The reason is that, in a special situation of conflict between the right of patients to self-determination and the duty of care, and when it was impossible to compare whether which has the superior value, if the doctor made a medical practice to respect either of those two values according to the professional sense, he cannot be punished. In principle, the doctor should make medical practices according to the patient's will. However, if the patient's life was at stake, I think, the doctor is obliged to try his best to save the life of patient. Yet to entrust the patient's life to the doctors professional sense, is to give up the obligation of the country to protect lives. In this regard, I think that the Supreme Court Decision should be reviewed, and that an ongoing research is needed.

In order to complement the drawbacks of quartz crucible such as fragile-like break and melt-leakage through open slit nozzle, a new PFC system has been developed using a common graphite crucible and plugging system. The u melt is fed on to the rotating a roll through slit nozzle by self-gravity. The new equipment was designed and manufactured successfully. An effort for optimizing all related parameter has been made. Then using the optimized parameters about 10 meters u foil having very thin thickness, which meets the target thickness of 130 ${\mu}m$ and enough width more than 60 mm could be made. The thickness homogeneity set improved, due to the lower eddy flowing of the melt flow the self-gravity feeding system.

As National Education Information Systems (NEIS) is supposed to broadly introduced all over the country, we need to understand factors that would affect its successful use. Studies regarding the NEIS have been made in terms of a social issue according to its introduction and use, however there has been only little research made in terms of the use of the system so far. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that would have effect on a successful use of the NEIS. A research model of the study is based on the extended DeLone and McLean's information systems success model with two characteristics of computer self-efficacy and perceived fairness. Based on the survey data from 168 subjects, the present study performs SEM analysis with PLS. The results show that perceived usefulness and computer self-efficacy improves the user satisfaction. However, the user' satisfaction does not cause system characteristics- system quality, information quality, service quality -and perceived fairness not effect. The study provides characteristics which can effectively and smoothly introduce the NEIS for its successful use on the upcoming full scale execution on the NEIS.

This study suggests the basic resources for men's cosmetic which shows in history. Because not only ancient chief but also modern French noble men made up in the area where succeeded the traditional national cosmetic, when it was seen through historic or world, the men's cosmetic was generated and was more luxurious and presence than women. But since the French revolution, men was limited the collection of fashion, also the luxurious cloth and cosmetic disappeared. It was 1960s that men's cosmetic based rock musicians reappeared. And then, rock musicians made up luxuriously. The early cosmetic of rock musicians began from the protest's meaning for old fashioned value and fixed society. But gradually, it was changed the style that valued appearance's beauty. In the past, movie star's hair style and cloth were the basic fashion, but now the sportsmen are recognized heroes and their cosmetic is prevailing. Today, the basic meaning of men's presence fashion is that men and women's each role and self expression is allowed and appearance's decoration showed from sex roles disappeared. Men is limited body's beautiful expression and collective range but they fluently express each self imagination through work, special hobby, female attire and drag queen. From various men's beautiful expression, we will know that human beings want a society which is recognizing different self expressions.

Some living thingsuse micro- or nano- structures for living in nature. Scientists and engineers made efforts to mimic them, and they succeeded in making new types of applications. They used 'Namib desert beetle' to self-filling device by moisture harvesting and 'lotus leaf' to self-cleaning device by water repelling. 'Namib desert beetle' and lotus leaf have micro-patterns on their surface, which consists of hydrophobic or hydrophilic materials [1]. Moreover, micro-patterns on the surface make self-filling or self-cleaning property enhanced because of the surface roughness. Surface roughness enhances wettability [2]. Micro-pattern is a significant factor to make the surface be functional, so we want to make new types of functional surface by micro-patterning. In this work,we make several functional micro-patterns (radial, line, and dot arrays) using maskless lithography and analyze the characteristics of each micro-pattern. In order to analyze and understand surface characteristics, micro-patterns with varying sizes are investigated. All experiments are proceeded on mr-DWL5 photo resists coated on silicon wafers in same condition. All the experiments have demonstrated good performances about hydrophobic or hydrophilic property corresponding to their material and structural combinations. In radial micro-pattern, although the surface is flat, water drops on hydrophilic radial pattern can be convergent to a middle point and water drops on hydrophobic radial pattern can be divergent from the middle point. In line array micro-pattern, water drops can roll off along only one direction in parallel with the line arrays. Such phenomena might be mainly caused by the local change of surface roughness. From these results, controlling the movement and direction of water drops is made feasible without introducing a slope, which can potentially be used for new types of applications.

In this study, Characteristics of Ultrasonic Transducer fabricated with porous piezoelectric resonator, 3-D underwater object restoration using the self made ultrasonic transducer and modified SCL(Simple Competitive Learning) neural network are investigated. The self-made transducer was satisfied the required condition of ultrasonic transducer in water, and the modified SCL neural network using the acquired object data 16*16 low resolution image was used for object restoration of $32{\times}32$ high resolution image. The experimental results have shown that the ultrasonic transducer fabricated with porous piezoelectric resonator could be applied for SONAR system.

In this study, an ultrasonic transducer is fabricated with a 1-3 type composite resonator. Pulse-echo responses of an ultrasonic transducer are investigated in underwater with the designated water-levels. LED output signals of a level limit switch with changing a water level are obtained by using the currently developed self-made 1-3 type composite transducer and electric measuring unit. LED is turned on at above the up-limit level with increasing a water level, and LED is turned on at less than the down-limit level with decreasing a water level.

In this study, the ultrasonic transducer was fabricated with piezoceramic-polymer 1-3 type composites. Pulse-echo response of that transducer in water was investigated with variable water-level. Output of LED was under the control of the signal, which was analyzerd by the self-made Electric Unit. This paper represents automatically water-detecting system with variable water level. There was in good agreement water level between the virtual level and output signal by using the self-made water-detecting system.

The stage for Tadao Ando's architectural works is not only in Japan but extends to many countries around the world. His creations are not limited to the world of architecture, but are widely acclaimed supported by public people as well. Why Tadao Ando's works are acknowledged and acclaimed so extensively? Japanese traditional elements used in the his works makes it so. Tadao Ando argued intuition and insanity which were deprived by modernism could recover with locality and it's historic elements laid importance to the self. To realize that, it is necessary the regeneration of landscape which was based on the site and self-reflection must accomplished with the nature. So as to regeneration of landscape, he used Japanese Landscape-gardening and make the nature condensed. With the su-ki, he made the architectural elements simple. And with the Japanese detoured circulation, he made deep and various space. In that way, he intended the nature which is changed with his idea experienced the way of yu-gen.
