예비 창업가의 긍정심리자본과 커리어 야망이 창업의도에 미치는 영향 (Study on the Effects of Prep-Entrepreneurs' Positive psychological capital and Career ambition on Entrepreneurial Intentions)

  • Due to its nature, business foundation accompanies high levels of risk taking and responsibility. For this reason, entrepreneurs come to experience various negative emotions in the process of business foundation such as anxiety about risks, fear of failure, and pressure of success. However, entrepreneurs' negative emotions reduce individual inclinations for business foundation. Thus, it is necessary to research individual psychological characteristics that could reduce and attenuate entrepreneurs' negative emotions. To this end, this study examined the effects of Self-forgiveness, and Narcissism, psychological motivation variables, and Positive psychological capital and Career ambition, goal motivation variables, on entrepreneurial intentions. In order to verify research hypotheses, 326 questionnaires collected from prep-entrepreneurs were used for the empirical analysis. Looking at the analysis results, Self-forgiveness, Narcissism, Positive psychological capital and Career ambition had significant effects on entrepreneurial intentions. This study has a meaning in that it confirmed the influential relationship between the psychological characteristics reducing entrepreneurs' negative emotions and entrepreneurial intentions. In addition, this study suggested its implications, limitations, and future research directions based on the study results.

자살의 대인관계 이론에서 회복력 요인의 조절효과 검증; 대학생을 대상으로 (Moderation Effect of Resilience Factor in Interpersonal Theory of Suicide; in University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자살의 대인관계이론에서 위험요인인 좌절된 소속감, 인식된 부담감과 자살생각과의 관계에서 잠재적 회복력 요인인 희망과 자기용서의 역할을 검증하는 것이다. 연구기간은 8개월이었으며, 연구대상은 서울과 경기권의 대학생 316명이다. 연구방법은 인식된 짐스러움, 좌절된 소속감과 자살생각 그리고, 조절변수인 자기용서와 희망 간에 관계성을 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 결과는 모두 유의미하였다. 인식된 짐스러움과 자살생각과의 관계에서 자기용서가 조절효과가 있는지, 좌절된 소속감과 자살생각과의 관계에서 희망이 조절효과가 있는지 검증하였다. 분석결과는 자기용서와 희망 모두 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 대학생들을 위한 자살예방교육과 자살을 생각하는 대학생을 위한 상담을 실시함에 있어서 자살의 회복력 요인인 희망과 자기용서를 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 추후 더 많은 회복력 요인을 탐색하는 연구를 지속하여 자살의 위험요인과 함께 다양한 회복력 요인을 포함한 자살위험성평가, 자살예방교육, 자살위기상담, 그리고 최종적으로 우리나라 자살예방정책수립에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

중소기업에서 경영자의 배려와 용서가 학습조직 활동과 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Executive Compassion and Forgiving Behavior on Organizational Activities and Performance)

  • Purpose - Currently, strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in terms of competitiveness is a key economic issue. However, the problem is that many SMEs lack the internal competence required to cope with a rapidly changing market structure. Such problems can act as an obstacle to economic development, yet most SMEs in Korea are dealing with this problem today. A company's source of competitive advantage is changing from quantity to quality, facility to knowledge, and hardwork to creativity. Under such circumstances, a company should place learning and sharing of knowledge and continuously creating new knowledge as its priority. This study aims to identify the effect of a chief executive officer's (CEO) compassion and forgiveness - positive factors in organizational emotion - on learning organization activities and organizational performance, through a theoretical comparison. Research design, data, and methodology - For this study, SMEs based in Daejeon and Chungcheong area were selected. To secure credibility of the data, the subjects were selected among those who have been working at the business for six months or longer. The survey was conducted for 30 days from March 5, 2015 to April 5, 2015. Both offline and online surveys were conducted. Fifty companies were chosen and 700 questionnaires were distributed, with 506 used for analysis. Fifty subject companies (25 from Daejeon, 10 from Chungnam, 10 from Chungbuk, and five from Sejong) were selected and the objective, target, and survey content were explained to a manager at each company either face-to-face or on the phone. Of the total of 700 questionnaires distributed via mail or e-mail, 78.6% or 550 copies were returned. Excluding 44 insufficient questionnaires, the remainder, 506 questionnaires, were used for analysis. Results - This study analyzed how the CEO's compassion and forgiveness affects learning organization activities and organizational performance. First, compassion of the CEO at the SMEs directly affected the learning organization activities and indirectly affected the organizational performance. Second, forgiveness of the CEO at the SMEs did not affect the learning organization activities and organizational performance directly or indirectly. Conclusions - The study conclusions are as follows. First, CEO compassionate behavior at the SMEs was a significant variable that directly and indirectly affected learning organization activities and organizational performance. Therefore, the CEO of an SME can create a positive organizational atmosphere through compassionate behaviors in the organization. Second, the forgiving behavior of the CEO did not have direct or indirect effects on learning organization activities and organizational performance. However, the reason for a CEO to continue his or her forgiving behavior is because it strengthens employee resilience, commitment, and self-efficacy to protect the organization from negative influences such as layoffs, risks, and wrongdoings. The action of forgiveness does not have direct or indirect effects. However, the CEO shall continue such behavior to strengthen members' physiological resilience, commitment, and self - effectiveness, and to protect the organization from risks including layoff and external negative factors.

Health as spiritual and virtuous harmony with compassion and vital energy

  • Altruistic virtuous caring, possibly originated from religion and/or spirituality, is indispensable for holistic health through channeling vital energy with diet, exercise and meditation. This is a participant-observed medical anthropological research of a first generation Korean elderly immigrant health professional woman living in a four generational family. She had hypertension and was concerned about possible attack of stroke. Multi-religious, spiritual, and cosmological vital energy based on holistic Nature-oriented health beliefs and practices influenced by psychosocial, cultural and economic background, education, self- discipline and self-cultivation of individual, and group or family may create health. Self-care beliefs based on confidence in self-control of one's life style for oneself and others influence individual and group health practice. The holistic alternative health beliefs and practices were proved to be efficacious and beneficial by her self-evaluation, evaluation of significant others, biomedical professionals, and laboratory tests. That may have potential application for global health.

간호사의 고통경험, 자기용서 및 상실에 대한 정서표현이 품위 있는 죽음태도에 미치는 요인 (Effects of Experience of Suffering, Self-forgiveness and Emotional Expression of Loss on Nurses' Attitude toward Dignified Death)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 고통경험, 자기용서 및 상실에 대한 정서표현이 간호사의 품위 있는 죽음태도에 영향하는 요인으로 확인하는 것이다. 연구방법: 대상자는 종합병원에서 6개월 이상 재직 중인 간호사 140명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구기간은 2016년 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지로 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 19.0 programs으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 간호사의 품위 있는 죽음태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 상실에 대한 정서표현(β=.44, p<.001), 고통경험(β=.34, p<.001), 종교유무(β=.32, p<.001), 학력(β=.11, p=.047)이 나타났으며, 이는 품위 있는 죽음태도를 63.9% 설명하였다. 결론: 본 연구는 간호사의 품위 있는 죽음태도를 설명하는 요인들을 확인했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

이혼적응 교육 프로그램 실시 및 효과검증 -집단 마라톤식 과정으로 - (Development and Evaluation of Education Program for Post-divorce Adjustment - Focused on the group marathon course -)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop the education program for post-divorce adjustment and to evaluate effectiveness of the program. This program was consisted of eight sessions and applied to divorced parents. It was focused for the understanding of grief processes for adults, recovery by forgiveness, children's responses and coping strategies to divorce, open minded relationship between parents and children, and enhancement of self-esteem to be healthy single parent. Results of paired t-test showed that there were significant differences between pre-test and post-test, and the effectiveness remained until follow-up. In conclusion, this program was thought to be effective for improving self-esteem, divorce coping competency and minimizing of the depressions. Continual education is thought to be necessary for maintaining of the effectiveness to the divorced parents.

이혼 후 적응을 위한 장기 교육프로그램의 모형개발 (Development of Long Term Education Program for Post-divorce Adjustment)

  • This study constructed a family life education program designed to help divorced parents. The purpose of this research was to develop long term education program for post-divorce adjustment. This program is consisted of 6 sessions aiming for understanding the grief process for adults and the six station of divorce, the recovery through forgiveness, children's response to divorce and coping strategy, the opened mind of parent-child relation, enhancing the self-esteem, the healthy single parent. We expect this program to be helpful in helping divorced parents'post-divorce adjustment, improving parent-child relation and helping future life of divorced parents.

영성(Spirituality) 개념 분석 (Spirituality: Concept Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the concept spirituality and to gain understanding of nursing intervention that may improve spiritual well-being. The concept analysis framework developed by Walker and Avant (1995) was used to clarify the concept. In the study, 'Harmonious interconnectedness', 'Transcendence', 'Integrative Energy' and 'Purpose and Meaning in Life' emerged as the critical attributes of spirituality. The first attribute, 'harmonious Inter- connectedness', has three categories including intrapersonal, (self), interpersonal (others/ nature) and transpersonal (the Supreme Being). The second attribute, 'Transcendence', is defined as the ability to extend one's own self beyond the limits of usual experiences and to achieve new perspectives. This attribute is demonstrated by 'coping with situations', to 'self-healing', and 'transformation'. The third attribute of spirituality is 'Integrative Energy', which integrates all dimensions and acts as a creative and dynamic force that keeps a person growing and changing. 'Integrative Energy is also defined as an inner resource that gives a sense of empowerment. Therefore the highly spiritual person demonstrate 'inner peace', 'growing', 'inner strength,' and 'well-being'. The fourth attribute 'Purpose and Meaning in Life' represents a sense of connectedness with one's inner values and with a greater purpose in life. It is demonstrated by 'hope' and 'a powerful life'. In this study, the antecedents of the spirituality represented as 'spirit' and its potential enablers were 'Introspection/reflection', 'Interconnectedness with all living things', and an 'Awareness of a Higher-Power'. The consequences of this concept may be described as 'physical, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being'. Empirical referents of this are 'purposeful life' 'self-worth' 'hope' 'love' 'service' 'forgiveness' 'trust/belief' 'inner peace' 'self-actualization' 'religious practices' 'transformation' 'inner strength' and 'coping'. In conclusion, spirituality can be defined based on these critical attributes. Spirituality is a dynamic, integrative energy based on a feeling of harmonious interconnection with self, others and a higher power. Through it, one is enabled to transcend and to live with meaning and purpose in life.

한국여성 독거노인을 위한 웰빙 증진 프로그램 개발 및 효과분석 (Development and Effect Verification of Well-being Enhancement Program for the Korean Female Elderly Living Alone)

  • 이 연구에서는 여성 독거노인의 웰빙을 증진하기 위한 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다. 프로그램은 자기노출, 후회다루기, 원한감정 처리, 용서, 감사 및 회복탄력성을 중심으로 삶과 행복의 의미를 탐구하도록 구성하였다. 본 프로그램을 운영하기 전에 6명의 여성 독거노인에게 파일럿 프로그램을 적용하며 그 효과를 예측하고 프로그램을 보완하였다. 프로그램 효과를 검증하기 위하여 11명의 여성 독거노인으로 구성된 실험집단 외에도 활동 위주의 프로그램에 참여한 11명을 비교집단으로 하고 또 다른 12명으로 통제집단을 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 여성 독거노인이 웰빙 증진 프로그램에 참여한 후 인간관계에서의 후회와 자신에게 피해를 준 사람에 대한 원한 수준이 감소하였고 자기를 노출하는 수준은 증가하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 웰빙 증진 프로그램에 참여한 여성 독거노인의 불안, 외로움 및 노화에 대한 인식 수준 모두 감소하여 노년기 주관적 웰빙 수준이 증진되었다. 또한 프로그램 참여 후 부정정서는 감소하였으나 삶의 만족과 긍정정서 수준은 증가하였으며 행복감도 더 느끼게 되었다. 이런 모든 변화는 통제집단은 물론 비교집단에서도 나타나지 않았다. 이런 결과는 본 연구에서 개발한 여성 독거노인 웰빙 증진 프로그램이 효과가 있어 노인복지관인 상담센터 등과 같은 기관에서 활용할 수 있음을 시사한다.

성품교육에 있어서 영화의 모델을 통한 소통연구 (영화 '찰리와 초콜릿공장'을 중심으로) (Communication of a Model for Education of Identity Based on the Epistles (Referring to the film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory))

  • 본 논문은 성품교육에 있어서 영화의 모델을 통해 교육적 소통을 증진시키고자 하는데 있다. 교육과 영화는 서로 인간의 본성에 대한 각각의 통찰의 시각을 갖고 있다. 특히 성품 교육의 소통에 있어서 어떤 영화들은 인간본성의 중요 주제들을 다룬다. 인간은 자신의 행복을 추구함에 있어서 두 가지 태도가 있다. 첫째는 성취중심적인 태도이다. 가정과 부모를 떠나 성취 중심적으로 자기의 지혜와 자기 자원으로 자기 행복을 추구하는 방법이다. 이런 태도에서 사람은 자기추구적이 되고 자기만족적인 삶을 살게 된다. 그의 행복은 절대적인 것이 아니라 상대적이며 비교적인 것으로 전락되어 버리고 만다. 인간의 고난은 성취중심적인 인간의 자기추구적인 행동에서 초래되는 것이다. 둘째는 관계중심적인 태도이다. 진정한 행복은 성취중심적인 인간의 태도에서 오는 것이 아니라 신뢰의 관계에서 비롯되는 것이다. 영화 찰리와 초콜릿 공장은 바로 이런 구조를 극명하게 보여주고 있다. 영화 찰리와 초콜릿 공장은 성취중심적인 인간의 모습과 관계중심적인 인간의 모습을 아주 극적으로 대조시키고 있다. 초콜릿 공장을 위해 가정을 버린 인물과 가정을 위해 초콜릿 공장을 포기하는 인물의 대립을 통해 진정으로 우리가 바라보아야 할 교육학적 소통의 모델이 누구인지를 역동적으로 제시하고 있다. 본 논문은 인간 본성과 그 행복 추구에 있어서 성품인간이 지향해야 할 교육학적 소통의 태도가 영화를 통해 인지되어지고 증진되도록 하는데 있다.
