This study focuses on the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial intention. So we investigated the degree of competence and entrepreneurial intention in university students with a survey. The results are as follows: First, IT Planning Competencies (ITPC) influence self-efficacy & entrepreneurial intention. but IT Development Competencies (ITDC) do not influence directly on entrepreneurial intention. Second, Creativity Competencies (CC) and Market Perception Competencies (MPC) influence self-efficacy & entrepreneurial intention. but Social Competencies(SC) do not influence directly on entrepreneurial intention. Finally ITPC, CC, MPC affected entrepreneurial intention by mediating self-efficacy. As a result, It is important not to have IT Development Competencies but to hold IT Planning Competencies for the establishment of entrepreneurial intentions. IT Planning Competencies (ITPC) influence entrepreneurial attitude and intention. but IT Development Competencies (ITDC) do not influence directly on entrepreneurial intention. So, we need to develop good contents related to the IT Planning Capabilities, Creativity and Market Perception when organizing training programs in start-up course.

For this research, the job-seeking ability enforcement program, which was started by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, was executed towards the 86 disabled by 7 sessions, which has been operated 6 hours a day for 4 days per week from December in 2012 to November in 2013. The survey for the study was taken twice with the same questionnaire toward the same object; one was a pre-survey that has been done before operating the program and the other was a pro-survey that was done after operating the program. The data was analyzed to obtain the 4 variables of job-seeking efficacy to overcome the career-barriers, which were self-efficacy, job-seeking skill, interpersonal relationship skill and job-information exploration and the 5th variable, job-maintaining willingness. The study findings were as follows. Firstly, the program efficiency was significant in interpersonal relationship skill and job-information exploration, while not significant in self-efficacy and job-seeking skill. Secondly, the self-efficacy and interpersonal relationship skill among the job-seeking efficacy to overcome career-barriers positively affects the job-maintaining willingness.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore various factors during the career development period affecting the formation of the perspective on work of young workers after they graduated from high school, and to analyze the influence of each factor. The panel data of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2005 was used for the study. Specifically, the data on the 303 employees in the 7th year(2011) of their employment was used. First, perspective of young workers on work was affected by social self (self-awareness-related variables), educational background of their father(family background-related variables), and intrinsic and extrinsic learning motivation(learning motivation-related variables) formed during the career development period. However, extrinsic learning motivation had a passive and negative effect on motivation and giving value to work. Second, the variables related to self-awareness in the career development period and the variables related to the family background were found to have a causal relationship with the formation of young workers' perspective on work. This study is significant in that the learning motives formed during the career development period are found to be very meaningful and important variables for the formation of young workers' perspective on work.

In this study, in-depth interview survey data were used, and theoretical sampling method was used in the selection of study participants. After proceeding in the order of open coding, axis coding, and selective coding suggested by Strauss & Corbin, it was analyzed with a paradigm model. The main research results are as follows. First, even when parents were unaware about online shopping malls or had a negative mindset about it, but they had a positive mindset about their children's start-ups, it was found that their children tended to start online shopping mall businesses. However, if parents had a negative mindset about online shopping malls and about their children's start-up, then the child could not start an online shopping mall business. Second, it was found that the ability to use online shopping malls is important as a condition for entrepreneurship and achievement in online shopping malls for young people. In particular, Partner Square (Gwangju) was found to increase the ability to use online shopping malls and positively influence startups in online shopping malls. Third, it was found that young people have increased their self-esteem, discovering opportunities, and reinforcing their creativity, in addition to simply increasing their sales after starting the online shopping mall.

  • The major purpose of this paper to identify safety climate practices, and to find the affecting variables that influence to the difference in the level of safety climate between plants and employees. And this paper attempted to find the interventions for improving safety climate in the chemical plants. The questionnaires were developed from literature review, especially made by HSE(Health and Safety Executive) in the UK and distributed to managers and workers. The frequency analysis was applied for identifying the level of safety climate. The affecting variables(plant size, accident occurrence, accident experience, injury experience and severity, and length of employment) are tested through analysis of variance(ANOVA). The results of frequency analysis showed that both managers and workers recorded generally high level of safety climate, and the major underlying problems are inadequate H&S procedures/rules, pressure for production, and rule breaking. According to the outcomes of ANOVA, the variable 'length of employment' is the only variable which makes the level of safety climate different. From the survey of safety climate practice, this study finds the level of safety climate and three major underlying problems in safety climate factors of the responded plants, and presents two interventions for improving safety performance. Despite of these outcomes, the applied factors are remained questionable for reflecting as the best ones for identifying safety climate in the chemical industry. In addition, the bias caused by self-report exist in the reliability of the response, and the equivalent size of respondents.

  • This study is to find ways to build economic participation for the elderly through job projects to help the elderly live a pleasant life. The results of this study are as follows. First, the relevant laws must be overhauled. To this end, jobs targeting the elderly should be selected first, and legal procedures should be prepared in the government. Second, they should extend the retirement age and support senior employment businesses. The extension of the retirement age believes that a resumption of the wage structure is inevitable in order to increase employment for senior citizens. It is also desirable to implement policies such as giving tax benefits to companies that employ older people more than a certain percentage of them. Third, there should be self-help efforts by the elderly. Three factors are essential to keep the work of old age pleasant and faithful. In other words, it is important to always learn new knowledge and hone one's ability in order to do a rewarding job of living without health and some economic stability. In conclusion, measures to establish economic participation for the elderly through the work-seeker project will require, among other things, a sufficient extension of the retirement age to allow the elderly to engage in their jobs, while overhauling the system, including legal maintenance.
