Construction safety inspections come in a wide variety of types. The types of inspection are, 1) a self-checking and a periodical-checking by contractors, 2) a site inspection by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transprt (MOLIT) or licensing organizations and 3) others. In this situation, there are needs to determine fuction of the safty inspection and roll of stakeholders for the inspection to avoid unnecessary duplication and serious omission. The result of this study indicates a guide line for improving of consturcion safety inspection systems as a fundamental research.

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between self-efficacy and self-care of hemodialysis patients. The subjects consisted of 140 hemodialysis patients who underwent hemodialysis at 2 university hospitals. The data were collected by questionnaires and chart review. The questinnaire used the self-efficacy tool developed by Kim Ju Hyune(1995) and the self-care tool developed by literature review and indepth open openended questions to 10 patients. Also, the questionnaire included physiologic data which collected through review of the patients' charts. The statistical analysis was used the SPSS program for frequency, mean, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation. The results were as follows : 1. The mean score for general self-efficacy of hemodialysis patients was 3.103(1-4point) and there were significant differences according to percieved health. The mean score for specific self-efficacy of hemodialysis patients was 3.113 (1-4point) and there were significant differencies according to percieved health, side effects and complications which related hemodialysis. 2. The mean score for self-care of hemodialysis patients was 3.822(1-5point) and there were significant differencies according to marital status and economic level. 3. The relationship between general self-efficacy and self-care was a positive correlation(P＝.000). The relationship between specific self-efficacy and self-care was a positive correlation(P＝.000). In conclusion, this study revealed the level of self-efficacy and self-care, and the positive correlation between self-efficacy and self-care in hemodialysis patients. Therefore, intervention is needed to promote self-efficacy for self-care of hemodialysis patients. Considering the vulnerable self-care area same as checking blood pressure and weight, fluid restriction, social adjustment, exercise and rest, luther studies should develop self-efficacy promoting programs for self-care of hemodialysis patients.

A EAARS(Electronic Attendance-Absence Recording System) is the important LSS(Learning Support System) for blending a on-line learning in the face-to-face classroom. However, the EAARS based on the smart card can not identify a real owner of the checked card. Therefore, we develop the CS(Client-Sever) system that manages the attendance-absence checking automatically, which is used the self-organizing neural network for the face recognition. A client system creates the ID file by extracting the face feature, a server system analyzes the ID file sent from client system, and performs a student identification by using the Recognized weight file saved in Database. As a result, The proposed CS EAARS shows the 92% efficiency in the CS environment that includes the various face image database of the real classroom.

The objective of this study to analyse the cause and pattern of failing to use in Self Contained Breathing Apparatus using by government regulation for producer and client. Regulation for producer is related to legal and institution of safety inspectiontest of SCBA. Rregulation for client is preventive maintenance. Improving fail in use of SCBA are following. First, expansion of ad hoc collection inspection and safety checking is required. Second, the strict application of the law for monitoring and auditing disposal procedure in low performance SCBA is required.

This research intends to check what value and convenience the on-line brand community members pursue and how such value and convenience affects brand affection. Researching on-line brand community members of ipod, it was found that their value and convenience is composed of 3 types, namely, functional value, emotional value and self-expression value and the concept of brand affection is composed of 3 subsidiary factors, namely, 'love', 'interest' and 'immersion.' Checking how the functional, emotional and self-expression convenience of on-line brand community members affected brand affection, the following result was found. First, functional value and convenience has significant influence on the love affection only at the level of brand affection and has no influence on the relational and immersion affection. Second, self-expression value and convenience has significant influence only on the love affection of brand like functional value and convenience. Third, it was found that emotional value has significant influence on the 3 dimensions of brand affection, namely, love affection, interest affection and immersion affection.

In this study, the self test-system for the marine Gyrocompass was developed and the obtained results are summarized as follows : 1) Utilizing the newly developed self-test system, the time length for observing the transient state of Gyrocompass reading which has been over 4 hours can be reduced to less than 20 minutes. In addition, the dynamic characteristics of the Gyrocompass can be measured within 2 hours after starting the system. 2) Prior test and diagnosis was done by checking all parameters recurrently with period of 2.5minutes. 3) Testing and diagnosis results was shown in graphic mode and could be transmitted to INMARSAT unit using personal computer. 4) The results of the newly designed trouble algorithm for the system was found to be applicable under arbitrary given conditions.

In the programming education, there is a great need of a teaching support system that can support the learner in the programming process regardless of the computer language due to instructor's difficulty of checking the progress of learners in real-time. Its importance is especially important in lower grade coding classes such as in K-12 education because they are not used to coding and so simple problems can be regarded as complex problems. For this, a pilot coding education support system based on Levenshtein distance algorithm which shows learners' progress to given solution in real-time was developed in order to help learners to solve complex problems easily, and the learners' motivation and self-efficacy was measured for estimating the usefulness of developed system targeting elementary school students. When the learners use the developed system, it was found that a statistically significant difference appears in the sub-factors of learning motivation compared with traditional class teaching environments. Among the sub-factors of self-efficacy, the efficacy dimension showed statistically significant difference too.

This is a descriptive investigative study which attempts to confirm the mediating effect of learning motivation in the relationship between self-directed learning, learning commitment, and learning persistence intention of university students in an online learning environment. The questionnaires were randomly distributed online and the agreed questionnaires were retrieved, with a total of 338 copies used for analysis. The following is the summary of the findings. First, there were significant differences in learning persistence intention according to general characteristics depending on age, major, part-time job, and academic level. Second, the results showed a positive correlation between self-directed learning, learning commitment, learning motivation, and learning persistence intentions of the subjects were statistically significant. Third, after checking the mediating effect of learning motivation in relation to self-directed learning, learning commitment and learning motivation, the learning motivation has a partial mediating effect on learning and 23% explanatory power, and the learning commitment was found to have a complete mediating effect on the impact of learning motivation on learning intentions with 21% explanatory power. Based on these results, it is necessary to provide a more diverse educational environment, such as operating a motivation semester program that can improve learning motivations along with learning commitment, and the use of a variety of contents that can focus the learner's interest or attention.

As the performance of microprocessor improves, the design complexity grows exponentially. Therefor, it is very important to make the bug-free model as early as possible in a design life-cycle. This paper describes the simulation-based functional verification methodology for the RTL level description model. It is performed by multi-stage verification methods using extensive hand-generated self-checking tests supplemented with random tests. This approach is opplied to the functional verification of the GPU processor of Raptor and various bugs are detected.

A geometric construction of an exact algebraic formula for graded partition functions, of which a special one is the classical unrestricted partition function p(n), from a diophantine point of view is presented. Moreover, the involved process allows us to compute the value of a graded partition function in an inductive manner with a geometrically built-in self-error-checking ability at each step for correctness of the computed values of the partition function under consideration.
